Won't let me sign in on iTunes even though I'm doing it right
Itunes has been working succefully for 2 days, but today i tried to purchase a song and it said that my password was wrong but it wasnt my sn was correct there wasnt cap locks on and it was on AOL account and it won't let me go on forgot password it just says "URL couldn't be open" so what is it? what should i do?

All downloads from iTunes are tied to the account that downloaded it, you can't re-download content via a different account. You checked the spam folder on yourr old account as well as the Inbox, and depending upon how long ago you did it, have you retried getting it reset : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password' ?

If you are unable to get to the screen that allows you to enter your password on your Apple TV, you may want to first try restarting the Apple TV. Use the steps in this aricle -

Are you aware of any problem with a previous purchase ? If not then you should contact iTunes Support and see if they can tell you what it is (until it's sorted you won't be able to download anything from the store) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption
If you go into the payment details section on your account then does it say anything about your card being declined or not accepter or if the security code needs re-entering ? -
It won't let me make an inapp purchase even though I have the funds available
Just like the title says. I try to make an in-app purchase. It denies me, saying it's unable to connect to the iTunes Store. Then it gives me a contact apple.com/support/iTunes/ww/.

II'm locked out my MacBook and its only typing symbols and now I can't re install Mavericks becwise I'm locked out and the numbers won't work to connect to my work when I type nothing ail pop up but symbols instead of letters

Any error messages?
Do other devices now connect?
Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Power off and then back on the router
- Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings
- iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections
- Wi-Fi: Unable to connect to an 802.11n Wi-Fi network
- iOS: Recommended settings for Wi-Fi routers and access points
- Try changing the security on the router. Start with no securty as a test.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

My iPad won't let me sign into my Apple ID when I try and download an app it asks for my id and password and when i type it in the iPad displays a message saying cannot connect to iTunes Store. However when i do this on my phone it works perfectly. Even when i sign in and out.
Has anyone else had this problem? If so how can I fix this?Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
since I did the update to OS5 I can't update any apps on my iphone4 and also had to make a new account before it would do the update. now it won't let me sign in to my original itunes and tells me the password is wrong and I know it isn't.

Settings > iTunes and App store > Apple ID = Sign Out... Then Sign In using the preferred Apple ID.
It should be Noted that anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID. -
HT5861 iBooks won't let me sign in
I just upgraded to Mavericks and was checking out the iBooks app. It transferred my current collection of books on itunes at this computer, but won't let me sign in to the app with my id. It won't even present the window or page to input my id and password. It just updated to version 1.0.1. Is anybody else having this issue?

You actually need to buy Tiger or Leopard on order to install teh latest version of iTunes.
10.3.9 and 10.4.x is a completely different operating system and is a paid upgrade. -
