Won't let me video conference or conference call.

I have a PowerMac 1.5 GHz G4 with 384kbps up and 5Mbps down and ichat will not let me connect to a
iMac 1Ghz G4 with 384kbps up and 5Mbps down
and a
PowerMac Dual 1.25GHz G4 with 256kbps up and 2Mbps down.
All three macs are using iSights with Tiger and all recent updates.
Anyone have any ideas why it won't work?

Hi Caleban star,
This will mean you either have to run the Cron Sripts or your internet speed is not good enough.
By not good enough I mean it may be capped in System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming tab or in iChat itself in Preferences > Video section > Bandwidth Limit drop down which should be se to NONE.

It won't let me send any texts or calls

I was on the phone and everything was fine, then the call just dropped. I tried calling back and it wouldn't connect. I shut my phone off, and tried again but nothing happened. It won't let me send texts, and when people try to call me it rings once and then goes straight to voicemail?

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Connections
If that does not work, contact the carrier.

Really Weird Problem AIM account won't let me video

Here is the weird situation I'm dealing with. Hope this makes sense.
I have an iMac, three MacBooks and a MacBook Pro.
For...each member of our family.
So, we are enjoying video chatting. Everything fine, but....my son can't video chat. He can log in with AIM and we can text chat, but no video.
Hardware problem?
Nope. I logged him with his AIM account to another computer under guest mode. No dice.
AIM issue?
Maybe? I created a new AOL screen name and password for him! Still no dice, from any computer.
He doesn't even show up in iChat's buddy list when we add him.
Everyone else in the family is just fine. And we are video chatting back and forth across all of our computers.
My son however does not show up when we add him as a buddy. His name comes up, fades in and out, then just disappears.
So....what could it be? I set him up in .Mac and....of course...no problems! Video chatting works like a breeze.
Does anyone have any clue what could be going on???
I'm about to go nuts.

Five computers EACH ??!! Now that is just greedy.
However on you Son's Mac User Account (Users/(his account)/Library/Preferences get him to delete com.apple.ichat.AIM.plist and com.apple.ichatAgent.plist and restart iChat.
We need him to get a full login before looking at the rest of you.
This is the first post that suggests nthat a Buddy not staying in the list is a problem at their end.
He should also check the View Menu of iChat and see that he has Show Video Status active (ticked).

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost

I'm using ezcap.tv 116 ezgamer capture card to record my PS3, this is on a windows laptop, Im then moving the recorded videos in mpg format over to my MacBook Pro to use IMovie to edit them to upload to youtube but it won't let me import them.

Ive even tried opening in itunes and copying from thier but they wont open in Itunes, no message or anything they simple just dont open. its strange because it does open in quicktime player.

First problem: You're fine. The hotter it gets, the more the fans spin up. The computer is designed so that at max load, at max fan speed, it won't overheat (unless it's obstructed by something, e.g. sitting on your bed swallowed by a comforter). It's not the best thing to keep it that toasty for days at a time, but a couple hours at a time shouldn't be a problem.
Second problem: If something in the trash won't delete, just use Secure Empty Trash and it should be fine. Since .torrent files are quite small, it should only take a couple seconds.

IPhone 3G no longer has sound and won't let me play any music/videos

The other day a friend of mine tried calling me and when I went to answer I couldn't hear her. I saw that she left a voicemail and when I went to play it, the play but switches from pause back to play very quickly, which won't let the message play. This is also happening when I try to play music or watch videos. I've tried various things, like changing volume settings, plugging in and out headphone jacks, and rebooting the phone many times. Nothing seems to be working. I don't think it's a sound issue since the phone won't let me run apps that require sound. Does anyone know what is going on?

Laptop won't let me play any video or change the brightness of the screen at all.

I got this new Laptop a few months ago and it has just recently started to play up slightly and not let me change my brightness settings at all and now it won't let me play any videos.

I got a solution
First check out your performance settings and if u dont know where to find it just right click on my computer and enter to propreties then click on performance and tools, then if the gamming and desktop aero system are 1.0 then you have three solutions.
1) Install a new windows
2) check out your computer driver and install tge latest version
3) or simply you can download DRIVER PAC SOLUTION and install it then after installation is done you might wanna restart the system and check performance again then it should desplay NEW HARDWARE DETECT REFRESH NOW then click on refreah and the rating is gonna go up from1.0.to higher than 4.0.

Size is not the issue. In the old iPhoto you used to be able to share a video and it would compress it to fit an email friendly size. It doesn't do that anymore from iPhoto. I miss that feature. I have to export the video from iPhoto to my desktop then take into the old Quicktime 7 to share in email. Crazy.
It shouldn't be that complicated. I shouldn't have to find a work around. I guess apple wants to put you in a box so you have to do it "their way" via uploading to iWeb or iCloud instead of emailing video.
I don't like those options being taken away. While the quality may suffer by compressing for email, it is still the most direct and unconvoluted way of sharing something fairly quickly. I don't want to have to post to YouTube or Vimeo or iCloud and send a link. Just compress the video and hit send in an email and be done with it.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.
