Won't load yahoo properly

Suddenly today, can't load yahoo homepage properly with mozilla. It's all out of wack on the screen. I love mozilla, but depend on yahoo for work email.
I hate explorer but if this isn't resolved, I'll have to use it instead.

I have Norton on one, McAfee on the other, but they are both disabled. I really think the crashing thing had to do with a keyboard issue (that seems common with the HP probooks, since over 4000 people have had that problem and the ones that had Mozilla said it was messing up their Mozilla and throwing into safe mode) that kept doing crazy things with caps lock, which I read multiple places that it can force Mozilla into safe mode, it hasn't happened once on my new laptop.
I still have problems with 17 on this laptop. I kept 16 on with ad block plus all night last night, and had no problems, so I uninstalled it this morning, and re-installed 17 without ad block, and it was fine the first time I went to yahoo and facebook, but after the 1st time, it was back to making both pages look like I had ad-block and blocked 90% of the items on there, and my computer was markedly slower. I went back and installed 16 on my other computer, and it is running faster and I'm not having problems with those pages on there, either, just the problem of when the keyboard goes crazy and acts like it is in caps lock or starts typing on its own, then firefox goes into safe mode.

Mac book pro acting like my good ol'PC which cost a lot less.   Won't load yahoo emails, get the beachball, slow, etc etc.   Not what I paid for....and Apple care on the phone is even less help they $^&% around for some time without a solution, then tell you they will send you to a "senior tech".....huh? Iphone 5 won't load yahoo email

My iphone 5 won't load my yahoo emails. When I go to my inbox it only shows the load more messages option. When I click "load more messages" nothing happens. I've tried restarting the app, phone, deleting the email account and changing the password.

Try it and see if it works. If it doesn't then the problem is on Yahoo's end.

Won't load Yahoo even after all virus checks - no virus detected

Mozilla will not load Yahoo.com page. Performed all the virus checks as suggested. Have no virus, malware etc. Running Windows 7 Pro.
Ran SuperAnti spyware, Adaware, Malwarbytes, spybot, Norton full system check, Avast full system.
Nothing came up except a few tracking cookies that were deleted.
I have been using Mozilla to avoid the troubles of IE for year now to run across this and have not been able to solve the issue. Any ideas?

There are a number of others here having the same problem (including me), where the project appears in Finder in the iMovie Projects folder but is not listed in the Project Library in iMovie. The project just seems to disappear from the Library.

You've given an excellent summary of things you've tried. I've also tried most of those, but haven't as yet reinstalled iMovie. As I have Final Cut Pro X, I also attempted to open the project file in that app with no success. FCP X crashed just after loading, after I had selected from the menu - File > Import > iMovie Project.
You can submit feedback to Apple - from iMovie's Menu select iMovie > Provide iMovie Feedback.

Firefox won't load Yahoo attachment uploader in version 3.6.8

Yahoo mail has an attachment uploader that allows you to select multiple files (or pictures) for attachment. When installed, the link for attaching in a new message windos says "attach". When not installed, the link says "Attach files more easily". I have the attachment loader installed, but the link still says "Attach files more easily" in Firefox 3.6.8! I've tried re-installing the attachment uploader over and over, but when it tries to load it, it still ends up indicating that it's not installed ("Attach files more easily"). I tried it in Internet Explorer and it works, but not in Firefox 3.6.8
I went and removed Firefox 3.6.8 and installed Firefox 3.5.7 and the attachment uploader works. 3.6.8 seems to have a bug that won't let me load and use the attachment uploader!

It's the same for me. It works fine on IE and Opera though!

Firefox won't load Yahoo mail jpg's (Mac)

JPG images attached to Yahoo mail won't display in Firefox (Mac), either in preview mode or when the message is fully opened. The images show up as dogeared pages at the bottom of the email. "View Slideshow" also only shows the images as dogeared pages in a separate window. However, if I forward the email, the images do show up on the message while I'm editing it.
Safari has no such problem, and Firefox has no problems if I open the same message in Gmail.

I have the same problem happening, but only when I'm trying to relaunch the applet - I can get the applet to launch on the first try, but then if I leave it open and my connection times out, I can't relaunch the applet later. The only thing that seems to work is rebooting my computer - I've tried clearing cache, cookies, etc., and it has no effect.

Won't Load Yahoo

For the last three days my computer suddenly will not access Yahoo through Safari. It says "Server Not Responding". I can access the rest of the web as normal. I can also access Yahoo from other computers and my iphone with no problem.
I am using the latest version of Safari, MAC Version 10.4.11. I have not changed any operating settings recently. I have tried emptying my cache, resetting Safari, dumping all cookies but to no avail. I reported a bug to Apple. Any ideas anyone??

My feeling is that this problem is at the Yahoo end.
Last week I changed ISP to Verizon fios. Then the my.yahoo.com page stopped working. If I cleared all the cookies I could get the plain page (without a login). Then when I tried to login it will hang in the process. I don't think changing DNS servers will do the trick.
If I use verizon.my.yahoo.com it works. But there are links to my.yahoo.com in some of the yahoo pages that will not work even after sign in via verizon.my.yahoo.com. Yahoo is not worth the bother, so I'm going slow in debugging what must be a yahoo problem.
I'm also find it curious that Verizon hasn't registered the IP address I've been given.

Why won't Flash work properly?

Fed up of all this and just about ready to throw PC out of the window.
Flash player won't load anything properly but says it is installed- I go to the About page and the video is jerky although the sound is amazing. On the BBC News website, anything with a video embedded in the page brings up an error (Something on this page is causing Adobe Flash Player 10 to run slowly. If it continues, your computer may become slow blah blah blah). WHY?????
Computer is a home built with an NVidia graphics card, AMD processor, Speedlink audio card, running XP Pro SP3- it only has 750Mb of RAM or similar but Windoze loads very fast and smooth. I have the same problems on IE8, Firefox 3.whatever and Google Chrome. I've given up trying new browsers.
I had to have Windows reinstalled recently as I tried to update the graphics card driver and got a permanent BSOD.
I have gone to the pages recommended to check if I have Flash player, Quicktime, Shockwave and the rest- and they say its working and Java is okay too. What next???????????????????????

Go step by step and test.
1. System Preferences > Other/ Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
     Press the "Delete All" button
     Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Follow the prompts.
    Quit Safari.
    Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Enable Plug-ins
    Safari > Preferences > Security
    Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
    Enable it.
    Press " Manage Website Settings" button for more options.

Try resetting your network settings.
Settings>Genenal>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Websites won't load properly

After just fixing my wifi problem (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1345209) I am able to access the internet but I have a problems loading pages from some websites. The browser will say that I have loaded the page fully, but none of the flash, javascript, or backgrounds will load. Some pictures, but not most of them would load. The page is a white background with text and links and a couple small pictures. The text is a default font and only the links are a color other than black. Most sites will work, but a few big one's won't.
Some sites that won't work:
youtube.com (This wasn't working and then it worked for about three days and now it's not working again. It worked on all of the other computers in the house, mac or windows.)
facebook.com (This won't load on any of the mac computers in the house, but will work on our windows laptop.)
flickr.com
Sites that do work:
Google.com
apple.com
pretty much anything else.
This problem persists on both Firefox and Safari. I have tried restarting the computer, deleting the preference (.plist) files for both browsers, checking my firewall settings, and nothing has worked.
Does someone know what is wrong?

I still haven't resolved this problem. Here is some more information...
youtube is the only website that has started working, but it sometimes stops working again.
There are many other sites that don't work, cnn.com, washingtonpost.com (sometimes), and a lot of others.
I have contacted our internet service provider and they said that they had nothing to do with the problem.
Some websites will not work at all. Safari tells me that it can't find the server. Some that do this are ups.com, computerworld.com, and others.
I think that the problem is that, for some reason, our mac computers can't access certain servers where we are. (We are at a small ski resort (on the mountain) in Canada.) I think this because when a site doesn't load properly there are several errors and they are all "can't find host" errors from a couple of the same sites (ex. example.something.something).
*Also, I ran a test on speedtest.net on the laptop and one of our iMacs and the results were way faster than anything actually loads/downloads or than the activity monitor shows, even when checking the activity monitor at the same time as running the test.

Windows 7 won't load properly / possible HDD failure?

Well I will start off by saying I've been having problems with this since I've bought it. It used to be under warranty and I had to ship it back twice, and I've had to do countless system recoveries but this time I'm at a loss. My current problem started about 4 days ago. I had skype downloaded, and my skype started freezing randomly, but only for 30 seconds to a minute, and then come right back to working. Then this started happening more frequently, and then it got to the point to where it wasn't just skype that would freeze, it was my computer. It must have only been explorer.exe that was freezing or something because my mouse still moved, and if I was in a skype call the skype call would work but I couldnt type or click on skype without it saying that it wasn't responding. Then yesterday that problem upgraded again to nothing working very well. My computer (again I can only assume it was explorer or something) would start up normally, and then once I got to my desktop the load light would come on my tower and freeze / slow down anything and everything. Example was I had VLC media player open watching a show and the video would freeze for 2 to 5 minutes, play for 10 seconds, then freeze again. Beforehand it was only slight lock ups, but then it became full blown lockups. Once that load light came on it stayed on and never wavered and I would be forced to restart my computer to even give it a chance to run properly for a few minutes before this same problem would occur. Yesterday however the problem upgraded once again, and my computer wouldn't even let me get to my desktop normally. I was able to load into safemode with networking to try some solutions but nothing worked. Then the hangup issue started occuring in safe mode as well, forcing me to restart again. This is where it just keeps getting worse sadly. My computer would get to the "Starting Windows" screen, sit there for a couple minutes, then maybe 1 out of 10 attempts it would get to the "Welcome" screen as if it was trying to load my desktop but never would load it, and on the other 9 attempts I didn't make it to the "Welcome" screen it just sat a black screen with the load light going and it would never do anything. My mouse has never been frozen at any point so it's not a full on freeze situation, but something isn't right. I did a sytem recovery last night, put it back once again to factory settings and it still locked up a little but nothing compared to how it had been. I turned my pc off and went to sleep, and then this morning it did the usual not getting past the "starting windows" screen. Sometimes it wouldn't even recognize my hard drive, giving me the old "insert media and boot from disc" or "No media found", I also got two errors, PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable, and the other message was PXE-MOF: Exiting PXE ROM. Then after receiving those messages my computer would restart and give me the choice to hit a button to load from disk. Throught the course of this problem I tried startup repairs, smart tests, anti viruses, nothing did anything to help. So I decided once again it was going to be time for a system recovery, but now when I hit f11 to go into the system recovery options, all of it is blacked out. I can't even click on system recovery anymore. So at this point Windows 7 won't load at all, not even in safe mode, and I'm lucky to even be given the OPTION to start it in safe mode. Half of the time it seems my computer doesnt even recognize my harddrive, and I can't even do a system recovery or repair tools, but the repair tools didn't really do anything anyway. So I have no way to use that computer, and Im thinking it might be HDD failure but I'm not hearing any noises coming from it and my computer has always been a little slow so it's not like things have slowed down by a lot so I'm not so sure its my HDD but I have no idea what to do or where to start since I've exhausted all my of resources on trying to fix this issue myself. I know this problem is probably way too vague to try to get an accurate idea of what is wrong, but I will check back now and then and answer any questions to the best of my ability (I'm not tech savy so if you need really fancy PC information you wil most likely need to tell me how to acquire said information). I mean I guess if I have to I will get a new HDD, but that means I will most likely need to get a new OS, and I love windows 7 with all my heart and I don't want to upgrade at windows 8. I feel like it's my OS but it could very well be anything at this point.

MacBook Pro won't load any google pages or Yahoo. This happened after I backed Up Everything on an external hard drive.
I tried resetting Safari, emptying the cache, deleting any cookies related to google, and as booting up with my Mac cd and running utility.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Are there any parental controls?
Check the DNS settings
System Preferences > Network > Advanced > DNS.
Select the numbers that are already in there and click the minus button to remove them.
Click the plus and type in 8.8.8.8
Click the plus againg and type 8.8.4.4

Webpages won't load & seem to be redirected to Yahoo Search keep getting Yahoo 404 message. Works better on IE but some similar problems. I have Windows Vista

Webpages won't load correctly all the time. Sometimes I am entering the web address in the browser 4 or 5 times before it will go to the correct page. It seems to be redirecting to a Yahoo Search that gives a Yahoo 404 in the tab. (I don't know what this means.) My laptop works better on IE, but still has same issues just not as frequently. I have Windows Vista. Also, Yahoo Mail and Facebook is coming up in super large print and no pictures.

I have this very same issue and it is driving me insane.
Trying to go to Youtube or imageshack or even google.com it tends to redirect repletively to a yahoo 404 page!
It was real bad a few weeks ago. I was watching a live stream for a charity event and the page kept refreshing on it's own to a yahoo 404 page! I was ON THE PAGE watching the stream, but that very page kept refreshing to a 404.
I'm also doing job hunts and get this a lot! Try and send in an application? I have to fight with yahoo to let it go through!

Site won't load properly in IE

I've created a site that works perfectly in Firefox and
Safari, but not in IE. I'm not sure why, but some of the pages
aren't downloading properly (some won't load at all). I used
Dreamweaver to create a drop down menu, but don't know if that
would cause the problem.
