Won't read video i bought on music store (itunes v7)

I installed itunes v7 today and it works perfectly BUT:
I can't play the video i bought on music store, i can only ear the sound.
Other videos from are running just fine.
It was working nice with itunes v6
can someone help me ? Thanks

Burn the songs to an audio CD, then re-import them into iTunes as mp3s.
You can't convert protected songs files into mp3 format "on the fly" within iTunes, but you can get them to mp3 format by burning as an audio CD.

Problems playing music bought from music store

I bought a cd from the music store which was fine, I played it then I burned a cd fom it and then found I could not play the tunes anymore. All the titles are there but when I click on a title I get a message saying that the file cannot be found. I have searched but cannot find any trace of the file. Where is it?
All other titles play fine

All of a sudden won't read iPod. Dont want to uninstall iTunes!

It won't read my iPod, used same computer and iPod as last time. Help says to uninstall iTunes and reinstall. Don't want to deal with music loss issues. Why won't it identify my iPod? Thx

What is the "it" you are talking about? If you do not want music loss, why don't you have a back up?

My mini IPad won't run videos I bought or took with it. It will not play music I bought either; but it did up to 2 days ago?

Can anyone explain why my new IPad won't play films bought or taken with the IPad ,they stay static like a picture. music bought on ITune won't play either. Is there à simple solution for this? it was working fine this morning.

Adobe Reader won't read video links in e-book

I've downloaded several training ebooks. These books are designed to be used with Adobe Reader. They have links in them to training videos. However, when I open these books in Reader 11.0.2 the video links in the book do not appear. Others who have these books and use a Macbook Pro like me say that it works fine for them. What do I do? I need to use these books badly for training.

Why won't the video I bought download onto my iPad?

I bought a tv series off of iTunes but when it goes to download it stops and a pop up comes up and says cannot download at this time and gives the option to retry ( which does nothing) or be done. I rented a movie the day before and it worked fine but now I cannot download anything onto my iPad. I have performed a hard restart and still nothing. Any ideas??

Was this a different computer/iTunes library than what it you had originally sync the iPod with? If so, that would explain why all of your content that WAS on your iPod was erased, since an iPod can only be synced with one iTunes library at a time.
As for your current predicament, you'll need to figure out how your iPod is configured to sync music and then adjust it so that the stuff you don't want on it is removed during the next sync operation and the music you DO want on it will be transferred over to it from iTunes.

I am having the same problem. Why do we keep using Apple when their support is so pitiful? You cannot contact Apple about problems. Hopefully they will eventually correct the problem. Good Luck.

Uninstalled Itunes because of issue, reinstalled with newest version, now it won't read my library. Error message "The itunes library.itl cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of itunes"

Error message when opening itunes...The itunes library.itl cannot be read because it was created in a newer version of itunes... how do i fix, it will not open with any of my ipod, ipad, iphone.

I don't know why this error occurs, unless you have attempted to downgrade iTunes.
This method should get you up and running again.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

What's the best way to re-read/refresh huge directory of music in iTunes?

I have several hundred GB of 320kbps rips from my CD collection in a few of areas of my computer, spanning a few drives. I want to put them all together and then have iTunes - reindex the new centralized directory (new name). What's the quickest way to get iTunes to reindex & check allthe files/names/directories/etc.?

Also, is there any 3rd party tool, or an easy way to set a ID3 tag on all MP3's in a certain directory? I'd have been tagging the "Comment" field" of all my ripped CD's that say "Baseline CD Collection - Imported xx/xx/xx". Since I have these three disparate directories, I want to tag them all differently, so it would be good if I could do this via the Finder instead trying to figure out which files are which once imported within iTunes.

My iPad won't download video rentals from the apple store

I've tried to download two films from the apple store on a rental basis on my new iPad mini. When I try to download it just says there is an error and it can't be downloaded at this time and to tap to retry, when you retry the same thing happens. I did get it to download once but then it just got stuck at processing. Can anybody help as I can't remove them from my queue either.

Cannot update ipod with music from Music Store (iTunes 5.0)

Since I upgrade to 5.0 (34) the music I have bought and that I can play on my computer cannot be transfered to my ipod.
I can transfer music from cd's, but not from the Store.
Anyone has got the same problem?

You are not alone! I have exactly the same problem ... I even tried importing previously transferred protected purchased tracks from my iPod & send them back again but NOPE! (using a natty piece of software called Podworks)
It seems iTunes 5 will not the transfer of ANY protected files to my iPod!
What a breakthrough! We can buy songs from iTunes store but not transfer them to our iPods!
