Won't ring

Somehow, I have pushed a button and now my phone won't ring...only vibrate and I have it on profiles, loud. The mute button isn't pushed either - I've tried that. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Try a Battery Pull:
1. Remove the battery while phone is turned on
2. Wait a few seconds before inserting it again
3. Allow the long boot up process to finish (takes a few minutes usually)

A battery pull reclaims memory lost during application usage and clears minor software errors that creep in over time. The blackberry runs an OS just like your PC runs windows and the battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot/restart on your computer.

Reset all settings.
Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
If this doesn't work then I would try restoring the device.
Make sure you make a valid back up of your device before hand.
After the restore, set the device up as new. If it doesn't work after that, then your device may need serviced.

Thanks for your prompt reply, I'm afraid it hasn't helped. I don't see anything wrong in my device manager.
I have also gone and updated every driver, especially the motherboard chipset and the Sata Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver.
Unfortunately, this hasn't made any difference.
Any other suggestions?

While using airplay iPhone won't ring

While using airplay my iPhone will not ring. The music cuts out and the phone will vibrate for a short time but won't ring through the speakers like it did before this last update.
This behavior happens with both iPhone 5c and 4s.

check on the left hand side, above the volume, there is a global mute switch, see if that is off

I just updated to ios7 and now my iphone verizon 4s and now my phone won't ring and the speaker won't work. Do not disturb is not on and it's not in silent mode????

Have you tried going into settings -> sounds and seeing if they were disabled there?

2.2 update won't ring, get texts, or VM - Correction

I have pinpointed the problem. The problem is the WIFI and sleep mode. If you are connected to a WIFI hotspot and have 3G on you will not get calls or texts in sleep mode. Here are the steps to reproduce the problem.
1) Turn off WIFI
2) Put phone in sleep mode.
3) Call your phone, it works fine.
4) Turn On WIFI but do not use any app that will use the WIFI.
5) Put phone in sleep mode right away.
6) Call your phone, again it works fine.
7) Use Safari or any app that will access the WIFI connection.
8) Put phone in sleep mode.
9) Call your phone, this time it won't ring. You won't get texts or VM notifications either.
You have one of 3 choices to get around this problem.
1) Never let you phone go into sleep mode. Yeah right.
2) Turn off WIFI.
3) Turn off 3G.
All 3 of these choices are unacceptable but it may help you cope till the problem is fixed.
I know this is not a viable solution but maybe it will help the dopes at Apple get their stuff together. Every update they put has effected me in a negative way. 1st time I tried to update it bricked my phone and I had to fight tooth and nail for them to give me a new one. This is my buisness phone and I can't afford to miss calls and texts or VM. I had to pay $599(already had contract) for this P.O.S. You got me once Steve but never again.

Ok I followed your steps at my house and had no issues. Everything worked fine but, my area is not 3G, only Edge. Could that make a difference?

Palm centro won't ring

For some reason my new palm centro won't ring, show any missed calls, or let me check my voicemail at home, even though it shows all bars and appears to have network service. I can, however, do all of these things in other locations.
I was on the phone w/ tech support for 45 minutes trying to get to the bottom of it and they said I should consider having it replaced where I bought it. But I've been reading online complaints from others who have gotten replacement phones and are having the same problems so I don't want to replace it if that won't address the problem.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

As I understand your situation, the phone works correctly (it rings, shows missed calls, and lets you check voice mail, etc.) in locations other than your home. When you get home, these things no longer work?
Are you able to make any outgoing calls from your home?

Do you even see the call come in on the phone? Do you see the missed call in your list? Or do you just get a voice mail.
If it never even shows up in your missed calls list, contact your carrier. Perhaps you have anonymous call blocking on your account. (I wish I did...)

2G won't ring when using AOL radio

Downloaded AOL radio on my 2G Iphone and if I'm listening to the radio the phone won't ring thru. I know u can't use both the edge and the phone at the same time but does it block incoming calls?

i wish there was a way that can be "fixed"...i AM addicted already...especially to AOL Radio

IPad Air won't ring (Handoff)

I just don't get the cellular call function to work properly. Hands-off is working fine with Apps, SMS, iMessage but the iPad just won't ring along my iPhone 6. The feature works fine with my MacBook Pro in the same network.
I already made a full reset, checked the "iPhone Cellular Call" option, checked iMessage settings, checked Facetime an iCloud Accounts, did a network reset on both devices but it just won't work. I went through all the tutorials that I found and it worked just one time. Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply, good try, I thought of that myself and made sure of that this morning, but that is already all done, and as it happens, the contacts are exactly the same as in our other phone (3GS) which works perfectly, but the iphone 4 won't dial ANY local number, instead it tries to send an email. EVERY TIME. most frustrating. I am really trying to work out if there is a setting somewhere (like the area code etc) or if this is a warranty issue.
