When your sign-in fails, can you tap the "Forgot Password?" button to see if you can reset your password?

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

That would be your MobileMe account password. Send a request to Apple via http://www.apple.com/feedback/mobileme.html or call the AppleCare phone number for your area. The phone no. will probably get a faster response from Apple.
Also ask your question in the MobileMe forum: MobileMe on my Mac. There will be users there that can answer it quickly.

I can navigate to the pico prompt in terminal ... but when it asks for pw, I try to type, the cursor just blinks, doesn't move, nothing.
But if there's another way to edit this file, I'll try.
Just want to uncomment the line about php5 module.

I'm used to vi. You use control keys to navigate and make changes. It has two modes, command and insert. In command mode, to delete the '#' character, for example, move the cursor to '#' and type 'x' to delete it. Type 'i' to enter insert mode and add new text. Press 'esc' to go back to command mode.

There is, it is "sudo". Only an admin user has the ability to use sudo to gain root permissions.

Opening my Ipad I have an exchange window asking me my password. I'm (almost)sure I type the good one but it doesn't accepIt it. Unable to go around that window so IPad useless. How can I check/change my password with my IPad (stuck) or my home computer ?

That's one of the weird things.. it recognizes it maybe 10% of the time. And usually, only after I do the two-button reset. Problem is.. since it won't charge above 2%, anytime I try to do a restore or anything like that using iTunes, my device shuts off and I lose whatever progress I'd made.
So, an update... after reading through a bunch of similar complaints (there are literally 1000's of them so there's NO WAY this isn't somehow ios7 related, thanks a lot APPLE ) I decided to try a restore in recovery mode. After 3 hours and several disconnections... I ended up having to just set it up as a new iPad, as the restore did nothing. Weirdly though... as I was doing the restore in recovery mode.. I noticed I'd gotten up to a 10% charge.. higher than it's been since September, so after setting it up as a new device, I turned it off and plugged it in using the wall charger. 2 hours later and I was up to 38%. Still not great, as my iPad, before ios7 could've fully charged twice in the amount of time it took for me to now get 28% more of a charge. And that's with a fully cleaned out device.. so that really ***** and I'm now more confused than ever.
But I'm gonna leave it overnight charging and see what I come up with tomorrow. Sadly, when I paid $600 for it in February, I never expected to have to play "wait and see" with it...

Yes, you can just log out of iCloud on the mini (Settings>iCloud> Sign out) and nothing will be affected as long as the iPad is not restored from any backup after that. Though if you're giving her the iPad I would highly recommend moving the pictures to your iPad (via this page) so that the mini can be reset and set up under your daughters ID to avoid Activation Lock in the future.
