Won't take my Serial Number...

I just bought the Family pack of iWork '08, but when I input my Serial number it won't take it. I enter it and then it closes Pages (or Keynote or Numbers).
It's a 23 character string with dashes. I've tried with and without hyphens and with and without capital letters with no luck.
Any ideas?

I just got my MacBook and had the same problem. I hope your fix is as easy as mine! Although software is preloaded, the disc has to be in the drive in order for the computer to confirm that the serial number that you are entering is correct! I think I had to use the hyphens when entering numbers as well... good luck!

Cloud products don't use serial numbers. That includes downloading CS6 through the Cloud (if that is what you're doing). Hence Ned's query.

What version of Premiere Elements and on what computer operating system?
Is this a reinstall or a first time install of the program? If a reinstall, you can go to the Adobe web site, sign in, type "My Products" in the
search field, and follow the "My Products" to a list of products that Adobe has registered for you. When you get to that list, click on the name of your product to
bring up the serial number. Does it agree with the one that you are trying to use?

Upgrade to FCS 2 won't take old serial number

So I bought a FCS2 upgrade. It installed perfectly on my Mac Pro. But on my laptop, I had an educational version of FCP 5 which I know can't be upgraded. Apple said to enter my old FCP 4.5
serial #. But I still get the INVALID Serial # message. I've tried other 4.5 #s, and still no go. Any thoughts?

The Software License Agreement for FCS2 allows you to install the same license of FCS2 on one desktop and one laptop, as long as the two are never in use at the same time. So, assuming you stay within those boundaries, you can use the same SNs for both installs.
To do that at this point in time, you'll probably need to trash the munged SN file on your laptop. So, go to:
/Library/Application Support/ProApps/System ID
and trash that file. Empty the trash. The next time you open Final Cut, you will be asked for the SNs again. Enter the SN for the upgrade, then for the previous SN, enter the SN from your desktop. That should do it.
But seriously, it would be a violation of the SLA to use FCS apps on both computers at the same time. K?

Won't match my Serial Number?

the website registration form won't match my serial number so i called the apple store. They said this was a known problem and to mail in the registration form. I've been looking all over the site but i don't know where to find the print out form.
Also does anyone know how long after i mail it in will it take to register. I want to be able to buy iLife '09 soon

I would like to upgrade to Creative Cloud and see that they have special pricing for existing customers that use past versions of Creative Suite. I am no longer in Education, so I will have to buy a full version. This is fine, but it won't accept my serial number for the discounted pricing. Is there something else I should be doing?

I had to uninstall and reinstall Photoshop elements 6 to my Windows 7 computer because the brushes were glitching on me, and now it won't accept my serial number to register it to my computer. I've downloaded and installed PS CS6 but it won't accept my serial number, whether I manually type it or copy it from my Adobe account page. I get an error message saying "Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer." Solved my own problem. I just needed to enter the CS5 serial number.

I was having many crashing issues on CS5.5 with Yosemite so I decided to download the trial again and reinstall. Now after the install, it will not take my serial number, even though it is listed in my adobe account history. HELP!!!!!
Also, everytime I try and open a file in photoshop cs5, it crashes. I get a GPU warning sometimes as well in Yosemite.
