i downloaded some songs (an MPEG audio file) and they play on itunes, but when i try putting it on my ipod, it says "some of the songs in the itunes music library, including the song "*" were not copied to the ipod "*'s Ipod" because they can not be played on this ipod."
what is this?

i have a 2nd generation 4 GB ipod nano, i recently added more songs to the playlist and am now upto 616 songs, but not all the new songs will copy onto my ipod. for example there are 3 songs by The Clash on the playlist but only one ever transfers to my ipod, i have restarted my ipod and this didnt help... what is wrong?

Is there anything different about those that do and do not sync? Such as when you optained them, the formate if they are age rated
Did they sync before?

What do I do if imported AAC files wont copy onto my iPhone? It has worked in the past with other imported files of the same type.

I have tried multiple times to sync a bunch of RHCP songs that i imported, but they wont copy onto my iPhone. I have tried isolating them in a playlist and syncing just that playlist and still nothing. please help. I have done this with other songs before and it worked fine but for some reason these ones wont copy.

I suggest taking it back to Best Buy. Once it has been opened, Apple will not handle the phone. Best Buy or another 3rd party are your only choices. Best Buy probably made an error when replacing the screen. Understand they are not an authorized Apple Service Center.

Have read some of the previous advice and tried all r's, updated ipod, itunes and windows software, tried to drop and drag in manually manage music mode and keep getting same message. Have you actually played it in iTunes?

Downloaded film from itunes wont download onto ipod what do i do

I downloaded a film for my daughter from itunes onto the computer but it wont download onto her new ipod touch.
Tried to download a different film direct onto ipod and it says it downloading but has been doing that for past two days.
What should I do?

if you have an oldish (3G or earlier) iPod the podcasts might not sync, as if you try to upload video podcasts adn you don't have a video iPod. Some file types also won't work. Check to see that the podcast is compatible.

Song Wonts Load Onto ipod

PLEASE HELP! I have a lot of new songs, and they wont load onto my ipod. I have the new version of itunes, lots of memory space, and it said i had to restore my ipod, so i clicked restore. It took the songs off my ipod, but not off of itunes. It says i have a "corrupted ipod", or something like that. Help Game wont upload onto ipod!!

I downloaded it then this message came up saying im not authoerized ot play on this comp???? now i cant get it onto my ipod... yes it is 5th gen but no it wont work please help!

The software installer I downloaded for iTunes 7 updates Quicktime and iTunes. One of the steps upon running the installer was a question:
"Do you want to update your iPod to version 1.2" or something like that. My iPod got the update, rebooted and then continued with the rest of the update. You may want to re-run the iTunes updater again and look for that question and answer "yes" to permit the iPod to be upgraded to version 1.2.

CDs wont upload onto Ipod

So recently I had to switch all my songs onto a new computer. I had been using a laptop ( a REALLY old one) and it ran out of space so I had to move everything onto another computer. In the process I lost every song I had not boght from Itunes (including songs from CDs).
So
I uploaded all my CDs to be put onto my Ipod, and pressed 'Sync Ipod'. To my dismay it didn't upload ANYTHING.
Does anyone know how I can get the CDs onto my ipod???!!!

If you're using H.264/AAC mode, then your are limited to the Baseline profile (320x240, 768 kbps) or MPEG4/AAC (480x480, 2.5 mbps) iPod compatible specifications in the "Movie to MPEG-4" export menu. If targeting for H.264/AAC in the Basline LC profile (640x480, 1.5 mbps or 320x240, 700+ kbps), then you must use the "Movie to iPod" export option exclusively if using QT Pro.

Itunes wont load onto ipod

i have an itunes account and used a gift card to load songs.. when i 'buy a song" it shows that the song was purchased but it won't load it into my ipod..help

I have a first generation iPod shuffle and none of the songs that I purchase from iTunes will load without first burning them to a CD, loading the CD back into my iTunes and then clicking and dragging the songs onto the shuffle. Anyone know why they won't load directly?

Upgraded to XP-now puchased music wont copy to iPod

I Upgraded to Windows XP and reinstalled Itunes and now I get this message:
Some of the songs in the iTunes music library, including "Yeah", were not copied to the iPod "Alex's iPod" because you are not authorized to play them on this computer.
Any Ideas?

I'm sorry, I don't mean to sound rude, but you are criticizing something you don't understand correctly.
Before you do any of those things, you just need to deauthorize the computer, then reauthorize the new one. That way, you don't use up any of your 5 authorizations. If you forget to deauthorize a computer that you no longer have access to, you can contact iTMS customer support who will do it for you.
Could I suggest you give that document I linked to previously a thorough read, as it explains all about authorizing and deauthorizing computers.
I don't understand why you're getting so worked up about it. Apple aren't trying to cheat you. : )
