Wont Install Completely
This is what I'm getting when trying to install. Any suggestions?

The DF015 error would seem to indicate you have a permission issue with Applications/Adobe Photoshop CS6. Did you have the software previously installed and are now reinstalling it?

Updating to Mountain Lion-- wont install completely.
I've bought OS X Mountain Lion from the app store recently and attempted to install it a few times. It always takes me through the "agree to terms" stage, then goes to the install screen. It begins to countdown the minutes until complete, and note that it will restart when finished. On my first million attempts, it would just barely make it 3/4ths of the way and then restart without completing the installation. I tried countless times with the same result.
I then looked into the Macintosh folder on my computer and found the file for Mountain lion and blindly clicked around until I found a file that lead me back to installation. This time, the installation did "complete" according to the blue status bar. But my computer definitely was not updated,( still running OS X Lion). At some point while trying to download the system told me the file had been "tampered" with (probably by me) and needed to be deleted and reinstalled -- which I did. Even when I downloaded again, it would not completely install itself. I don't know what to do to get it to work! I tried calling technical support, and they wanted me to pay for their help, after the apple product I PAID for doesn't work properly... what a system
Also, I am not sure if this is related, but my safari has been crashing lately. It does not crash with every website, only certain ones (which have always worked before). The website it has been crashing the most with is a university related website, but most recently it crashed when I tried to look on groupon.com
I do not know if these are related, but it never did that before I tried this whole OS X Mountain Lion foolishness.

Should I just give up on this whole OS X Mountain Lion update? After reading other posts, I'm scared I will permanently ruin my mac. I'd prefer to lose only $20 than $1400. I would like to fix this safari problem, however.here is the info in the most recent log

Voiceover kit wont install completely
I just finished syncing my iPod Shuffle (4th Gen) and the voiceover feature isnt working. I tried to apply the voiceover and downloaded the kit however once installing the kit the progress bar filled about half way and then just disappeared and the voiceover box was unchecked again. Ive made sure to download any updates and it still wont work. Do any of you know if the voiceover kit will work with Windows 8? Does that even matter? PLEASE HELP!!!

Ok, I was able to fix this. The solution in a nutshell is to have iPodVoiceOver.dll installed in the (whatever drive letter):\program files\itunes directory. Where all the other dll's are. For example, I use windows 7 64 bit and have itunes installed on the c drive but my library is located on an external drive (f:) Itunes was able to download the voiceover kit but it copied it to my c: root directory. I moved it over to c:\program files\itunes and voila it worked. I connected the shuffle and started itunes and it installed the kit to the shuffle. I'm now able to check and uncheck the voiceover feature and it works perfectly fine -

this little gizzmo . then run it / scroll down until you see apple updater . highlight it then delete.
then scroll down till you find itunes whatever version is on the list do as above then exit the gizzmo then run itunes 7.3.2.6 it will install correctly good luck everyone. -

Ok, Below is what worked for me somewhat.
Okay ... try downloading and saving a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe to your PC from the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Now download a trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.php
Open the iTunesSetup.exe with WinRAR, and try to run the standalone install of Apple Application Support from the AppleApplicationSupport.msi you find in there.
It works now BUT there are still problems. It is not allowing or recognizing my Cd/DVD player and i CANT burn. Looking still for this fix. -
iTunes wont install. It says "The program can't start because MediaAccessibility.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have uninstalled iTunes 5 times and reinstalled it, and nothing has worked. Help!!!!
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Aurora is trying to install update 30.0a2. It downloads a 3.4 mB file but the install fails. It then downloads the 36mb file which still wont install.
If I try and download from scratch I run the file firefox-30.0a2.en_US.win32.installer-stub.exe. When that runs I get a message in 7 -zip "cannot create temp archive folder"

Also, try downloading the full version instead of the compressed installer

You want the ''firefox-30.0a2.en-US.win32.installer.exe'' located near the bottom.
P.S. This error message comes from the stub file that tries to unpack the archive to start the installation and creates a folder in the temp folder to do this and seems to fail to complete this operation. -

I had to upgrade my itunes because I got an iphone 5s so i deleted the old itunes and tried to reinstall the new itunes and it wont install because it says the network resourse im trying to use is unavailable and that i need to choose a different location or path for the new itunes to verify i can use the path where it was going to go. My internet connection is fine and working properly. I dont have the old version of itunes because i tried to unistall it but it didnt completely uninstall from my computer but i still cannot open the old verison of itunes. I just want to get some version of itunes back so i dont lose all my itunes stuff. Any suggestions?

I downloaded the latest iTunes and it wont install.
Im running Win 7 Ultimate 64bit. When i downloaded the 64bit version i got a msg saying that its not a valid win32 app????
I then downloaded it again with the same issue.
When i installed a earlier version that i used on my 32bit system it worked but i cant rip my cd's.

It looks like maybe you are trying to install iTunes 64 bit on 32 bit machine or version of Windows, as it is looking for a valid Win32 app?
You might want to verify the version of Windows you are running, and whether your machine is correctly configured for 64 bit.
Here is an account of my trouble, and my suggestions for installing iTunes on any Windows 7 machine:
First, I found that the setup would freeze when it was almost done. The last screen, the progress bar would freeze about 3/4 of the way through.
I found that, after stopping the process in Task Manager, that iTunes was installed, and ran properly. So, it was only the install program that had frozen, after it had completely installed iTunes.
I did run the setup in compatibility mode for Vista SP2, and ticked the run as admin box.
I think that there are issues with iTunes (32 and 64 bit) on Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) but Apple doesn't seem to want to address this. I have yet to see an acknowledgment from Apple on this problem.
What I recommend, is this:
Before attempting to install iTunes, create a system image (not just a restore point) so that you can restore your system if and when iTunes messes up your system.
Make sure you are logged into your computer as admin or a user that has admin privs.
Run the iTunes setup program with the "run this program as administrator" box ticked.
Try running with compatibility for Vista SP2. -

I got this computer a few weeks ago and first thing i tried to install was iTunes off of the apple site and it wont install.
i can download the setup file to my computer and save to my documents but when i right click and click run as administrator, a loading sign will appear for two seconds then disappear... i need iTunes on this computer since it wouldnt install on my old laptop. i've even tried installing on safe mode and nothing. i just want iTunes on my computer.. any help?Same issue here and unfortanetly no one yet has an answer...
