Wont Install or Unstall Itunes

When i tried to install itunes an error pop'd up i dont remember what it said. But it didnt get installed properly and i cant open it. It says something about the installation program didnt have the rights to change the file C:/programfiles/itunes/acknowledments.rtf
And i cant uninstall itunes either it says the same thing.
What shall i do. I have tried to delete the temp folder but that i couldnt either it say I dont have the rights to do this.

In order to uninstall iTunes follow the instructions on http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923. When you are done with that, restart and use the disk cleaner utility and a registry cleaner (like CCcleaner or Registry Mechanic), restart again.
To install iTunes try downloading again and following the normal process, if it does not work, make sure to follow all the steps on http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1926

I turned on my laptop this evening to import a new cd but it asked me if i wanted to download the new version of itunes so i went ahead to update it but it failed to update then it failed to open at all, and and runtime error keeps popping up but when i uninstalled it to reinstall it it wont install now and i cant use my ipod or ipad with my laptop without itunes and i never had this problem at all. can you please help?

Hi i am trying to install itunes and it wont install due to error code 2349 how do i fix this issue

i have tryed on numerous occasions to install itunes and it sometimes installs but then i cant use it due to error code 2349, so i uninstall and try again and wont install it at all due to error code 2349 please help i really eant to use my ipod

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Ipod wont show up in itunes after installing update

okay so i hadn't updated my ipod in a couple of months (bad i know but we have really slow internet here and it takes forever to download things) then i downloaded the update a couple of days ago and it started installing then came up with an error saying it failed.
It was late at night so i just switched off my laptop and went to bed, and the next morning i tried to turn on my ipod and it was stuck on the connect to itunes screen. When I plug it in it comes up with a box saying "Windows needs to install device driver software for your Apple Mobile Device (Recovery Mode)" I clicked the locate and install device driver software, but it can't find anything.
It wont come up in itunes and i've tried the restoring thing, but it's not working...maybe i'm doing it wrong? idk help anyone?

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM! Downloaded 9 point whatever it was, and then it said i needed to update my iPod, so i lugged it in, all was hunky dory and then it said i had to restore my iPod and so i tried that and now it wont restore it, keeps coming up wit some whacky error and the iPod is stuck on the connect to iTunes screen and its driving me insaaaaaaane!!!!

I got this computer a few weeks ago and first thing i tried to install was iTunes off of the apple site and it wont install.
i can download the setup file to my computer and save to my documents but when i right click and click run as administrator, a loading sign will appear for two seconds then disappear... i need iTunes on this computer since it wouldnt install on my old laptop. i've even tried installing on safe mode and nothing. i just want iTunes on my computer.. any help?

There is no such thing as an "SG3" or "SG4". Did you possibly mean a 3GS and iPhone4?
It has always been very basic to ensure that a backup exists of your media and other important files. Computers fail, hard drives crashes... things happen. Do you not have a backup? The iPhone, like all iDevices is NOT a backup of your media, but rather a mirror of the content in the iTunes library on your computer.
If your contacts, pics, etc are not on your computer, no backups of the iPhone exist, and they are not on the phone, they are gone.
No one can magically make them re-appear.

Ok, Below is what worked for me somewhat.
Okay ... try downloading and saving a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe to your PC from the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Now download a trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.php
Open the iTunesSetup.exe with WinRAR, and try to run the standalone install of Apple Application Support from the AppleApplicationSupport.msi you find in there.
It works now BUT there are still problems. It is not allowing or recognizing my Cd/DVD player and i CANT burn. Looking still for this fix.

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

ITunes wont install on Windows 2000

i have been trying to get iTunes to install on my computer for a few weeks now and have not been able too. I took my computer to Best Buy to have them install it and they said that the reason it wont install is because i have alot of spyware and virus, they wanted to charge me $80 to get rid of them so i told them thanks but no thanks.
I was hoping that someone out there can tell me which spyware or virus is blocking the installtion of iTunes and how i can get rid of it, i downloaded spybot and updated my norton but i still cant get iTunes to load please someone help me find and destory the programs so i can get iTunes loaded!!!

Resolution
Follow these steps to resolve the issue:
Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.
When you get to the step to uninstall iTunes, it is important to uninstall iTunes and the related components in the order listed in the link for that step.

Itunes wont install, please help

I know this issue has been raised several times and I have read most of the posts and still cant fix the issue. I have updated Itunes today and since trying to update it I can now longer load it. I have tried uninstalling everything about 10 times now and then reistalling but it dont work. If I click on the Itunes logo it comes up with the message itunes.exe is missing and the apple software update wont install either. To top it all off I needed to restore factory settins on my iphone but because of the itunes crash and the fact that I cant reinstal anyting I cannot do this so am without a phone now. I am now at the end of my tether after spending about 7 hours trying to rectify the issue so I could really do with some advice? I have tried the repair function but this has done nothing either!

This morning I have uninstalled everything again and tried to individually install all the parts, quicktime and itunes comes up with the warning fatal error during installation or someting similar and the apple softwareupdate still does not install.
