Wont install some 64bit programs
why do I keep having this problem - I just bought this and again it wont work!
I was only pointing out that this is not a new issue for me... it has something to do with the fact that this software Lightroom5 also is 64 bit - which doesn't seem to actually go thru the process of installing... I clicked on download and it did its thing. then when I double clicked (as cc said it was installed) on the icon to launch it - it gives me this same error message ' this application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b) click ok to close'....
I was told sometime ago that it has something to do with window7 64bit edition - x86. I also want to let you know that Im not fluent in computer technology so Im finding this very frustrating - Id like to know if its some simple adjustment in settings or the like that would fix this glitch.
the other programs Ive tried that gave me this same error message is photoshop 5 that I have, and all of the corel software trial versions of painter - I talked to the Corel Tecks and they were unable to help me thru it - having me uninstall and reinstall didn't work either. why do some 64 bit programs work and others do not.
Im also frustrated with programs that will not work on my laptop, and I end up losing out on the special deals with some of these software packages. ie 30 day trials that I was unable to use etc.

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards? -
why itunes 10.5 64 bit wont install on my 64bit hp probook ? when i run it my user account control asks me that do you want the following program from unknown purblisher to make changes on you on this computer?

iTunes wont install. It says "The program can't start because MediaAccessibility.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I have uninstalled iTunes 5 times and reinstalled it, and nothing has worked. Help!!!!
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

I currently run the Design and Web Premium CS6 on a first generation MacBook Air and want to buy a new MacBook Pro. How do I know whether I can install my Adobe programs onto the new computer? Because I know there is some kind of limit.
Also, I had to install the software twice on my same computer before because I had to reboot the computer. I don't know if this affects the limit.You are allowed to have two activated installations so there should not be a problem having working installations on the two machines. If by chance you have somehow tied up two activations for the one machine you can have Adobe support help resolve that thru chat.

Ok, Below is what worked for me somewhat.
Okay ... try downloading and saving a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe to your PC from the Apple website:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Now download a trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/download.php
Open the iTunesSetup.exe with WinRAR, and try to run the standalone install of Apple Application Support from the AppleApplicationSupport.msi you find in there.
It works now BUT there are still problems. It is not allowing or recognizing my Cd/DVD player and i CANT burn. Looking still for this fix. -
my itunes wont work I just installed some new update and now it wont even come up, I click the Itunes icon and nothing happens. Please help me I've tried uninstalling it and downloading it again but that didnt help :/
DFU mode? How do I do that? So far the only thing I can do is hold down both buttons to power it on and nothing is on the screen and it wont reconize on my computer....

when I try to install icloud on my laptop running windows 7 home premieum I get message saying the windows installer package wont complete as a program run as part of setup did not finish as expected the install then rolls back I have tried reinstall deleting files signing on with another account etc nothing works I have read this is an apple programing problem if so is there a fix I need iclouds thanks

In order to install some programs my imac Java SE 6 Runtime is being required
to install some programs my Mac OS X 10.8 it is requesting me to have Java SE 6 Runtime and it gives me the option "to install one now" but when i click on "install" it says the software is currecntly unavailable, this is fustrating, any ideas? I already tried installing Java SE 7u9 that was the only one that o found and it didnt work :/.... please help!!!

Unable to install some programs
I have been trying to install some programs but they just do not install. Programs like Adobe Creative Suite, Mathtype demo or even the patchburn. When I download the program and double click on the dmg file, it seems to appear in the dock and disappears the next instant. It is as if the installer is trying to open but it shuts down. I am not sure what is happening and why is it happening. Please help me!
ThanksDo you have problems with Intel (Universal) apps as well or just the PowerPC ones you mentioned? I have the 'Cleardock' (from Unsanity) running all the time and have had no problems with Photoshop CS, the iRiver Manager you just mentioned and a few other PPC apps.
When you double click on the .dmg file does it expand to another volume that contains your PowerPC application? If it does, have you been dragging it to your applications folder before running it - if not try that. -

Photoshop wont install after purchase
I recently bought Photoshop cc, but even after multiple attempts the program wont install. When investigating what went wrong in trouble shooter the errors that came up were:
Third party payload installer vcredist_64
and
Failed to repair Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package

I downloaded the latest iTunes and it wont install.
Im running Win 7 Ultimate 64bit. When i downloaded the 64bit version i got a msg saying that its not a valid win32 app????
I then downloaded it again with the same issue.
When i installed a earlier version that i used on my 32bit system it worked but i cant rip my cd's.

It looks like maybe you are trying to install iTunes 64 bit on 32 bit machine or version of Windows, as it is looking for a valid Win32 app?
You might want to verify the version of Windows you are running, and whether your machine is correctly configured for 64 bit.
Here is an account of my trouble, and my suggestions for installing iTunes on any Windows 7 machine:
First, I found that the setup would freeze when it was almost done. The last screen, the progress bar would freeze about 3/4 of the way through.
I found that, after stopping the process in Task Manager, that iTunes was installed, and ran properly. So, it was only the install program that had frozen, after it had completely installed iTunes.
I did run the setup in compatibility mode for Vista SP2, and ticked the run as admin box.
I think that there are issues with iTunes (32 and 64 bit) on Windows 7 (32 and 64 bit) but Apple doesn't seem to want to address this. I have yet to see an acknowledgment from Apple on this problem.
What I recommend, is this:
Before attempting to install iTunes, create a system image (not just a restore point) so that you can restore your system if and when iTunes messes up your system.
Make sure you are logged into your computer as admin or a user that has admin privs.
Run the iTunes setup program with the "run this program as administrator" box ticked.
Try running with compatibility for Vista SP2. -

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
