Wont let me send videos

I just got the 4G yesterday and it wont let me send videos nor connect to the 3g network. What gives??? Ive check all the settings and nothing is disabled. Do I have to take it back in?

Unfortunately, most of my advice is in the "hindsight is 20-20" category.
First off, I would never have purchased the peripheral accessories until the 14 day return period had expired. Second, you learned the hard way what the "14 days" really means.
Too bad you didn't do any homework, reading this and other forums and tech sites. Even word of mouth from others. That, more than anything could have steered you towards different phone choices from the get-go and I will leave that there with no further comment other than to say most of the issues you described have been discussed in this forum, ad nauseam.
Once you got into the refurbished phone exchanges, that is where things really went haywire. What someone tells you over the phone is a sketchy proposition, and when it comes down to it, it's your word against theirs.
I think Verizon tried to make it right, though. Remember, they don't make the phones. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
You stated yourself you were a satisfied Verizon customer before this. Had the first two phones performed as they should, you would still be a satisfied Verizon customer.

Email wont let me send mail

i recently changed my password and i changed it in my settings on my phone as well.. now that i have tried everything to figure out why the heck it wont let me send a email and keep getting a pop up window saying my password is incorrect. i know its correct because i have changed it and re type it in. and i have also gone back into my settings and change my password and re type it out to get it working.. but iphone has failed to understand that my hotmail password is correct. i have turned my phone off and back on, still happens.. so what to do next? also it will allow me to get my incoming mail but wont allow me to send any mail.

You need to go into your SMTP server settings and make sure it has been changed in all places it appears at. This is more than one. Sending mail is handled by the SMTP server.

If it shows up in iTunes and you can sync the phone, could be that the docking port is damaged.

Not all video format downloaded from iTunes is compatible with ipod nano. Make sure that the file extnesion is mp4 or any quicktime formats. If not, create a version on these format using iTunes or convert using a third party software. Cheers!

I updated my iPhone 4S with ios 7 and it wont let me send emails.

After I updated my iPhone, it wouldn't let me send emails. I keep getting a message that says "The conection to the outgoing server "smtp.gmail.com" failed. Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars. I tried turning on/off the different server options, but nothing has worked. Help!

okay so i have been texting someone this weekend and i wanted to tell them goodnight right, so i sent the message and it said message not sent review and try again. i tried to sent it again and again and i tried about 20 times to resend it. where i have been sending it i get 3g service, i am connected to wifi, and i have 3 bars and it still wont send. can anyone tell me why this is happening? my phone is and LG Ally from Verizon. this has not happened before.

Cnnsidering the time I wonder if system upgrades were occurring at the time you tried. Also, maybe doing a power cycle would have fixed it also

Mail wont let me send anything or set up any other accts

I have nly one mail acct rigth now and that is the mobile me(why did i buy it), and it only has one server all diags look normal in and out have green dots but it still wont send mail I have tried ( I thought everything) to no avail

You must have some sort of Mail disease. I've got no green dots and everything works fine. What green dots are you talking about and why do you think it is normal? The only green dots I have are when people that I have in my iChat buddy list are online and I've got an email from them.

Why can't you back up your phone? Connect it to any PC with iTunes, and right click on your device. Backup should appear, and this will back up your device.
Restoring it is the best option, upon completing a backup, you won't lose any core data (such as photos). You may just want to import your photos first to a program or your computer. Then they won't be lost.

Log & Capture wont let me transfer video

I recorded a few videos with my digital camcorder and I'm trying to transfer them to my computer. I go to Log & Capture and I see the 3 videos listed. For some reason, I cant transfer the video for 2 of them, only audio. The video and audio checkboxes are faded so I can't check the video checkbox. I also tried transfering with iMovie and it still doesn't work, which leads me to believe that it is a problem with the video.
Help?

Oops, I actually meant to say Log & Transfer. That's what I actually used.
The problem that I'm having, I'm having it on my MacBook Pro. I just went to try and transfer on another computer (college computer lab, iMac) and now the transferring works perfectly... So I guess it's a problem with my computer...
