Word 2010 Send As Attachment does not send a HTML formatted mail
Hi!
I'm using Word 2010 to send a document by clicking File->Save & Send->Send Using E-mail->Send as Attachment.
In the Outlook 2010 new message window I click the ribbon tab Format Text and then I select HTML as the message format.
I continue to happily compose the HTML body and send it. On the recipient side (also Outlook 2010) the message body comes in Plain text format even tough the source email in the Sent folder is in HTML format.
Is this a bug or am I missing something obvious?

It's not a bug as I can tell, the recipient may have configured Outlook to Read all standard mail in plain text, please let the recipient check the following setting:
Start Outlook 2010.
Click the File tab in the Ribbon, and then click Options on the menu.
Click Trust Center on the Options menu.
Click the Trust Center Settings tab.
Click E-mail Security.
Under Read as Plain Text, check if the check box of Read all standard mail in plain text has been selected, untick it and click
OK to save the setting.
Send the email again to test, hopefully the recipient can receive the email as the original format.

My send email vi does not send the email out
I am trying to send an email notification and using labview's example vi to send. In the server response everything looks great. It also says "Queued mail for delivery", but I dont' get any email back.
I am sending the email to myself, and also tried sending to other people, but it just doesn;t work. Are there any issues with the server authenticity?Are you using the 'E-Mail Notification.vi' example? This example creates
a return address based on the server response. Can you try replacing
the generated return address with the email address you are sending to?
Don't know for certain whether that will make a difference with your
mail server. I think the servers we had trouble with were some flavor
of microsoft; they bounced messages from [unknown user]@[mailserver].

Outlook 2010 is an email client that runs on a PC. It does not run on an iPhone at all.
Is this a corporate email account? What did your IT department say when you went to them about the problem?
The ability to correctly process meeting requests when using an Exchange server depends on the version of Exchange your organization is running. It has nothing to do with what mail client you use on your PC. -
Something happened to my laptop. I try to resend e-mails with files and just sends the email with the file name, does not send the file. what can I do to fix this??? thanks
In Mail, go to:
Edit > Attachments
and check "Include original attachments in reply" in Mail's menu. -

This error states that It tried to connect to the target system but failed to connect out.
Is Exchange 2013 server added in the firewall rule to send communication over port 25?
Do you have use Front end proxy checkbox checked on the Send connector to internet that was created on 2013 (if created)?
If use front end proxy checkbox is checked, then you need to add permissions for your CAS server's IP in the Firewall for outbound port 25 rule. As it appears that the mail is originating from CAS to the firewall. If that checkbox is not checked, we need
to add the Mailbox server's IP on the outbound rule for port 25. -
Apple not recognizing known password. Iforgot does not send email verification. Help please.

I was just trying to verify her account. I have the correct password. Now the account is locked out.I figured it out. It's a little confusing. I was trying to add a new email address for iCloud and I was supposed to type in the main iCloud user ID and password. The wording is not helpful because it displays the name of the new email address.

I saved it anyway and when I go to the Exchange email account it says "Cannot Get Mail" "The connection to the server failed." As I understand, you didn’t receive email generated from Create Upgrade Evaluation Site Collections timer job. While you might receive email generated from Delete Upgrade Evaluation Site Collections.
When you request an evaluation site collection, the request is added to a Timer job
which runs once a day. You will receive an e-mail message when the upgrade evaluation site is available. This might take up to 24 hours. The message includes a link to the evaluation site. Upgrade evaluation site collections are set to automatically
expire (after 30 days by default).
Please go to CA > Monitoring > Review Job Definitions, locate issue timer job and click Run Now. Then go to Job History and check if the issue job failed to run.
Also, please check if the email are received by Exchange Hub server.

Firefox does not send a crash report.

Firefox does not send an error report after it crashes. It crashes consistently when accessing certain pages when Shockwave Flash 10.1 r53 10.1.53.64 is enabled, but never sends a crash report.

There are 19 July 2010 reports in /Users/me/Library/Logs/DiagnosticReports/ including 5 from today.
A plist file was created or modified at the same time that the as the last crash report. It contains OS and Firefox versions.
The directory /Users/tvd/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Crash Reports/pending is empty. The permission are 700. I am the owner.
The last report submitted was Mar 4, 2010:

Thunderbird does not send my attachments
Thunderbird does not send my attachments, mainly pdf files from my HP Officejet scanner. If I open the same email [gmail] account in chrome and attach the same attachment it is sent.
How large are the attachments? Maybe you exceed a limit imposed by the service provider?

User created apple id account, verified but know she is unable to log on, it says incorrect password, she tried to reset via forgot password option but it does not send reset password page to here e- mail address, how can i get this sorted? or how can i get her whole apple account deleted and created new one using same e - mail address?
The idea to jumpstart by change was not the smartest one, but gives you an opportunity to use that "temporary" account as permanent. You do not have a choice cause obviously despite you thinking that old account is no more -it does exist on Apple servers. And if you are unwilling to share your [email protected] with friend, just create one extra [email protected] for your friend. One suggestion - do not use gmail.

I have another apple ID but I forgot the password and apple does not send the link to reset it to my email. What do I do to have it back? It is really important.
If you know the answers to your security question for the ID you can use that method to reset the password rather than email (by going to https://iforgot.apple.com/password/verify/appleid).
If you don't, you'll have to contact iTunes Store support for assistance: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html. They frequently deal with Apple ID issues. -
My problem is simply that Mail does not send email.
I have just migrated from iMac G5 to iMac Intel by using Migration Assistant. Everything else works just fine and I can receive email. However, if I try to reply, forward or send a new email message, Mail just does not do anything - no error message, nothing.
The fixes I have tried so far are removing the Mail plist file, repairing disk permissions and mailboxes. Of course, I have checked the account settings, especially outgoing server settings. I also reinstalled Mail application with Pacifist. None of this has solved the problem. I have tried sending email with Thunderbird and it works with no problems.
Does anybody have any suggestions how to fix this issue?
The OS is 10.4.8, Mail Version 2.0.6 (749.2/752.3), all the suggested software updates done.
iMac Core Duo 20" 2GHz Mac OS X (10.4.8)Reinstalling Mail is rarely necessary or appropriate to solve a problem. It certainly cannot fix anything that could be wrong within your home folder or at the server or with the network, and may even introduce new issues if not done properly. Moreover, in Mac OS X 10.4 you don’t need Pacifist to reinstall Mail, you could also do it as described in the following article:

After having fixed all filesystem issues, if any, if the version of the system software on your install disks is earlier than what you’re using now (and only in that case), then you must also reinstall the Combo Update for the type of computer and the version of Mac OS X you’re using, to bring Mail back in sync with the rest of the system:

The above won’t solve the problem. It’s just to ensure that you’ve properly reinstalled Mail, which you shouldn’t have done, and which apparently you didn’t do properly -- the version of Mail on your system should be 2.1.1, not 2.0.6.

When I send an email with bcc recipients, the bcc does not show in my sent mail so I can't reference back later who I sent the email to. Worked in Snow Leopard but not in Yosemite. Please advise if their is fix for that.
