Word Mole auto submitting words

how come word mole, after an upgrade, is now auto-submitting words before I'm ready.  i.e. I type "st" with the intent to form the word "stand" but it auto-submits after I type "st".  Very frustrating!  I can't figure how to change this in the game options and I'm kind of addicated to the game.

Hi!
For application issues, your best point of contact should be the developer of that application.
I tried searching for contact details of  Word Mole from http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/ to no avail. The app does not show in the latest app world catalog.

  • Email Address Duplicates When Auto Submitting Through Lotus Notes

    I have set up a "submit" button on my form, but when I test it using Lotus Notes (6.5), the email address appears twice in the "TO" field. Does this occur in other email programs, or is this specific to Lotus Notes? Any fixes or tips on where I might be going wrong in my setup? (During setup, I definitely enter the email address only once.) Regards...

    If you have the data submitted to a web server as a FDF or XML file, you can simply import that data into the PDF. Reader creates other problems as Aandi said, at least if you try to submit the whole PDF since it then has to be saved (an extra rights issue for Reader). The e-mail issue has to do with the client e-mail setup. For folks that use an out of the box client like Outlook, I don't think it is necessarily a problem since MicroSoft turns on everything out of the box (that is part of the reason there are almost always security problems). I believe it is MAPI that has to be active for Acrobat or Reader to be able to interact with a mail package. Similar problems exist for mailto in HTML forms. I gave up on that one 10 years ago because every browser did it differently and typically messed things up.
    That is the main reason for my comment. You may feel that e-mail is necessary, but it may also be a major problem that may make you look like a fool to others, even if you are not the issue. If you have a limited user base, then you may be able to deal with the issues, but it is a bad practice for a general form to be posted on the internet. It sounds like your use might be within an office and that may be fine.
    In terms of your original question, would it be possible to post a sample form with your e-mail (or generic) on it. Then we can look at it, possibly change the e-mail to our own and see what happens with our e-mail clients.

  • How to stop page from auto-submitting forms?

    Hello, I am using JDeveloper JDeveloper 11.1.2.3.0, and it is from some days now that I am facing an wired problem with my application. I click a link to pass from one page to the other. The second page is composed of a pannelTabbed component with different view forms within each tab. As soon as I click to another tab within the second page the Commit buttons on all the page get Enabled automatically! I do not understand why is this happening.. Can anyone please give me an idea of what might have caused this? It is giving me a lot of problems now when I want to create or edit something within the page..
    Thank you

    I am using BC4J and I just tried debug mode but I do not see anything happening when tabs are clicked.

  • Af:selectBooleanCheckbox | value setting and auto submitting

    Hi
    Could somebody please guide me on the following issue?
    I have a table based out of a view object alone. I added the table an additional column which contains a selectBooleanCheckbox.
    I want this check box be selected depending on a value of another column when the page is loaded. Once it is loaded, I should be able to check/uncheck and get the complete row details so that I can able to process then add/remove it to the DB.
    Any help would be much appreciated.
    Regards
    Praveen

    But i am not able to set the checkBox once it is loadedIf your transitent attribute has a Groovy expression-based default value, then this attribute could not be updated anymore. I faced similar problem some time ago. Such attributes are considered "calculated" and their values are calculated always based on the specified expression. As a workaround you could define the "boolean" attribute as an SQL-derived attribute instead of transient one (by including in the SQL query an expression that corresponds to the initial value you need).

  • Delete from wwv_flow_files after auto submit

    Hi,
    I have a situation in a file upload page (based on the How TO Doc), where auto submitting is done when an item (select list with submit) is used. We stored the uploaded file in a custom file and normally it works. But when the select list item is used before the submit button is pressed, then the file is automatically upload. (see posted topic Re: File Upload Submit Woes
    In this previously posted topic, Scott Spadafore described a workaround using a computation where to delete files from wwv_flow_files. I implemented it and it works fine, when auto submit is done. But when doing this, my doSubmit Process is not executed properly, this means storing the uploading files in a custom table fails.
    I think computation (after Submit) is done before validation and processing (after submit).
    Anyone any idea how to solve the problem (to delete file from wwv_flow_files after auto submit is done and to insert uploaded file in in a custom file when submit button pressed)?
    Conditional computation does not have "When no button pressed" condition or something like this.
    I'm searching for a solution to implement a computation (with deleting auto-submitted files from wwv_flow_files), but only when no submit button was used.
    Thomas

    Thomas,
    When a button is used, or a doSubmit submits the page, the "request" value is set and is available for inspection by computations, processes, etc. In your case, you cannot use the declarative "when button pressed" controls, but you can use built-in condition types that evaluate the request or you can code pl/sql expression conditions like :REQUEST = 'button name'.

  • Error ERR-3331 This page was already submitted and can not be re-submitted.

    Our application has been in production for several years... we upgraded last fall to 3.0 (10g). Periodically in the past users would get this error message "Error ERR-3331 This page was already submitted and can not be re-submitted." but in the past week it has been occuring after every 5-8 page loads. Our application has a couple dozen tabs and if I click from one tab to another (same level), after the 5-8 clicks, I get this error. I am not doing anything on any of the pages, and there are no auto-submits.
    Since this has just started happening consistently (previous errors were related to users using the back key, this time it is not), I wonder if there is any known reason as to what might cause this to occur (application server setting change? etc?) Or is there a particular type of item on the page (LOVs?) that would make this more likely to occur on some pages than others.

    Hmmm... it probably isn't possible to grant outside access to the system, but...
    Does anyone know if it is "possible" that this could occur if one page is still loading when the user clicks on a new tab and attempts to load a new page before the first is loaded? And, is there a setting/page option that I can set to immediately cancel the load of a page when a user tries to load a new page before it's finished?
    I wonder because I can only make the error happen this morning when I click very quickly between tabs (yesterday when more users were online, I didn't have to click fast to make it happen).

  • Double requests (Post & Get) received when submitting a Post method

    Recently in our Web Access log, we found that some misbehavior request pattern on some user. When a single post request would result in TWO requests at the same time to our Apache web server, one is the original POST method and an additional GET method.
    Below is the access log (the .do & url are masked to anonymous, e.g. example.com)
    [07/Jul/2008:17:12:15 +0800] "POST /example1.do HTTP/1.1" 200 11784 "https://example.com/example1.do" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)"
    [07/Jul/2008:17:12:15 +0800] "GET /example1.do HTTP/1.1" 200 9171 "-" "Internet Explorer"
    [07/Jul/2008:17:12:21 +0800] "POST /example2.do HTTP/1.1" 200 9171 "https://example.com/example2.do" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1; Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1) ; InfoPath.1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727)"
    [07/Jul/2008:17:12:21 +0800] "GET /example2.do HTTP/1.1" 200 9211 "-" "Internet Explorer"
    We checked the log and found that for the additional GET method, the user agent is different from the POST one. Do you encounter such "double request" case?
    Furthermore Is there any reasons, in the aspect of system configuration such as apache setting, or in user's browser perspective such as additional plug-in installed in Firefox, could resulted in double request to the web server? Do you have any work around to eliminate the second GET request?
    It would be great to receive your comment. Thanks in advance.

    I dont know the answer. However, I would check out the JSP or HTML page and see everywhere it submits back to the server. One spot is in the <form> tag. It should have something like action="POST". Also, check the javascript to see if it has a .submit call. It could be a click on the update button calls two java functions that each submit, or perhaps there is an on-load function call in the <form> tag that calls a submit. Another possibility is the user navigates back to the JSP page that auto submits when its refreshed.
    Possibly caused by a user double clicking the update button rather than single click. In the last case, have the button call a javascript function rather than let the button submit directly to the server. In the javascript function, set a static boolean variable and submit (document.myForm.submit). A second submit to the function will be blocked by that static variable being set because you check to see if its true before you submit and if so, dont submit. Print the timestamp to the log file from both post and get functions to see if both requests come in within a fraction of a second. If so, it may be the issue I just described.

  • How to disable auto-submit in address bar?

    since a few weeks i have a problem with safari.
    sometimes when i type an URL in the adress bar safari auto-completes AND auto-submits it.
    for example i type in the adress bar "dis" (because i want to visit discusion.apple.com) but
    then safari auto-completes it to "disco.com" and immediately submits it (without me hiting enter).
    the auto-completion isnt the problem - i like it and it's a must have but
    the auto-submit is very annoying.
    does anyone know which settings i have to make to fix this? or any workaround?

    From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
    Turn all extensions OFF and test. If the problem is resolved, turn extensions back ON and then disable them one or a few at a time until you find the culprit.
    If you wish, you may be able to salvage the errant extension by uninstalling and reinstalling it. Its settings will revert to their defaults. If the extension still causes a problem, remove it permanently or refer to its developer for support.

  • Why is my image icon not showing up for subscribers?

    I'm using podbean which produces the itunes feed and auto-submits it. You can see the icon when you visit the itunes page on the web - https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/bloggersareweird/id589296259 but when you actually subscribe via iTunes the icon does not show up either on desktop/laptop iTunes or iPad/iPhone.
    Can someone take a look at my feed and see what I did wrong? My image dimenstions are 1400x1400 which is the recommended size, I believe.
    Here's the feed.
    http://bloggersareweird.podbean.com/feed/
    Thanks for your help!
    D.J.

    Though the image which appears in the iTunes Store is referenced in the feed (as you have done) the image which appears in some podcasts when subscribing is not. It has to be actually embedded in the media file, and can be different for each episode if desired.
    A method for doing this is described in this page:

  • Reset Form Submit State

    Is it possible to reset the form submit state? I have a page with many input components, some of which are set to "Auto-Submit on Change". When submitting, a new window is opened with the report results.
    I need the user to go back to the original input page and change some of the original input fields. However, when doing so the page is submitted by just changing one of the Auto-Submit input components. I would like to be able to reset the form submit state (or the hyperlink submit state), so that the page is not auto-submitted when changing input fields.
    Thanks,
    Dan

  • B2B - Email with XML attachment - Error in reading the xml file

    Hello,
    We have a requirement where an application sends an email with an xml attachment to a Lotus Notes (IMAP) mail box. I have configured the Partner, Agreements and Listening Channel to pick up the file from the mail box. Looks like when B2B is trying to read / store attachment, it errors out, there is no instance in B2B created. Looking at the logs, the file content is not read as XML, instead it seems like a text. When B2B tries to read the attachment it is not xml, there are no error messages as well.
    The "Content type" in the Listening Channel is set to blank, so B2B can decide appropriate content type. Should this be set?
    Could some one tell me what is wrong, not sure what is missing in the configuration.
    Thanks,
    Venkatesh

    Thanks Anuj,
    After setting the property, I am no longer receiving the error, however, still fails with a different error, "Exception occurs in conversion from mail to TransportMessage. Please make sure the message sent is in correct format." and "TransportMessage cannot be created from mail. Skip this mail."
    The error appears after / while, executing, IMAPMonitor.saveAttachment():
    Is this a problem with the attachment or the email?
    here is the log,

  • File Upload Submit Woes

    We have a file upload page. We have added a custom table to store the files, based on the How Tos docs on OTN. The issue that we are having is that if there is anything in the file upload control and a user switches to another page in the app via a tab, the file upload page is automatically submitted (the custom PL/SQL does not fire because it is tied to the submit button) and the file is stored in the WWV_FLOW_FILE_OBJECTS$ table not the custom table. What is auto submitting this page when the tab is used to transition to another page? When you hover over the tab you see the doSubmit() function call. Is there a way around this?

    well, that's not exactly what i meant, but it's no matter because i steered you wrong (sorry about that; was doin' like 8 things at once)...
    what i meant was for you to conditionally fire your process based on the values of :REQUEST that could be set when your page was submitted. so rather than using your current tab's name in your condition, i was suggesting you use the tab names from the other tabs on which your users are clicking to "accidentally" submit their documents. where i steered you wrong is that processing doesn't occur on pages when the user tabs out of them like that. so your after_submit pl/sql won't run regardless of your conditions if your users are tabbing out of that page. the easiest way i can (now) think of to handle this case would be to do that processing elsewhere. so when your user tabs off your page, your "File Browse..." item will be populated with a new value. you could have before header processes on your pages to which your users are tabbing to properly move the uploaded files to your table in cases where that item was just updated. so to put this in the context of the how-to doc...
    say your users are tabbing off your file upload page to either page 4 or 5 of your app. i'm suggesting you add processes to those pages that run the...
    <from howto>
    insert into file_subjects(id,NAME, SUBJECT, BLOB_CONTENT, MIME_TYPE)
    select id,:P2_FILE_NAME,:P2_SUBJECT,blob_content,mime_type
    from wwv_flow_files where name = :P2_FILE_NAME;
    delete wwv_flow_file_objects$ where name = :P2_FILE_NAME;
    </from howto>
    ...code if the value of P2_FILE_NAME was just updated (you can, of course, check to see if it was updated by storing the "old" value elsewhere and comparing to the current). this is the processing that you're unable to currently fire, and i'm just suggesting you do it on the next page(s) rather than the current one.
    hope this helps,
    raj

    what do I need to do to allow cronie to shout at me?
    Edit: I added the sudo in the contab to try and eliminate permissions, but the same kind of errors are present for espeak hello as for sudo espeak hello.
    Edit: Seems that cronie can use espeak when vlc is not running.

    Yes the user is in the audio group. I assume that vlc is somehow grabbing the device, but even when I changed to use alsa directly in the VLC audio settings this problem persisted.

    http://www.spamhaus.org says:
    Mail servers only run spam filters such as Spamhaus PBL on port 25, so if you find you are being blocked by the PBL when you try to send mail to your mail server that means you are not communicating with the mail server on the 'authenticated' port 587 but you're still on port 25. This means your 'SMTP Authentication' is not working correctly.
    http://wiki.gandi.net/en/mail/standard-settings#smtp-account says:
    SMTP Account
    Name server : mail.gandi.net
    Port : 25, 465 (with SSL) or 587 (try one or the other)
    TLS or SSL: yes
    SMTP Authentication : yes, using the same settings as for the POP / IMAP account
    I was trying to use the same settings I have used for several years with Thunderbird and Apple Mail, ie SSL on port 465.
    Is there something wrong with my settings which could be preventing mailx from using port 465?
    A few debug tips would be appreciated.
    Your link causes me to ask:  Does the mailx on Leopard support SMTP directly?

  • Cron jobs not running

    Hi
    I am using linux 5.x
    uname -r

    I have 2 crontab jobs set up as following .
    cat backup_confluence.sh
    #!/bin/bash
    # bash shell script to backup confluence backups to bccpfr
    # Schedule this script after the backups are performed that day
    # Setup the environment for the bourne-again shell
    . ./.bash_profile
    # Copy the daily backups for confluence
    find /usr/share/confluence/data/backups -mtime -1 \! -type d -exec ls {} \; -exec scp {} bccpfr:/usr/backup/confluence \;
    second
    cat  backup_jira.sh
    #!/bin/bash
    # bash shell script to backup jira backups to bccpfr
    # Schedule this script after the backups are performed that day
    # Setup the environment for the bourne-again shell
    . ./.bash_profile
    # Copy the daily backups for jira
    find /usr/share/jira/backups -mtime -1 \! -type d -exec ls {} \; -exec scp {} bccpfr:/usr/backup/jira \;
    cron as following
    $ crontab -l
    13 06 * * * /home/lsg/backup_jira.sh
    18 06 * * * /home/lsg/backup_confluence.sh
    Issue
    Both the above .sh are running properly when executed  manually but they are not running automatically at the given time crontab job.
    Kindly help me on this issue.
    many thanks

    Is your crontask not running at all or is the scheduled task failing?
    Hey Tommy I sent you some replies yesterday; don't know what happened to them. Yes I can see that crond runs every ten minutes. Also when I created the crontab file using the command you sent here I could see that it was running every minute by looking at root mail in /var/log.
    Do you have execute permission set on the scripts?
    Yes
    Any info in /var/log/messages or e-mail?
