Word wrap in nano does not work.

Hello, I am trying to word wrap in nano the way it does in notepad and gedit (new line once you reach the edge of the screen/window). However, when I try nano -w rick.sh it give me the help screen and I see that -w is not an option. When I use set nowrap in the ~/.nanorc it says nowrap isn't recongized, also, -r <y> fails to work as well. What should I do?

The reason might be the configure-parameter "--disable-wrapping" in nano's PKGBUILD. I would try this: get the PKGBUILD, remove the parameter, run makepkg. If makepkg finishes successfully, remove the nano-packages installed from repository and replace with the new created package.

I just installed Adobe CreatePDF desktop printer, when I try to use from Word or Excel, it does not work. The Adobe print queue says "error" in the status screen. I have uninstalled and re-installed. Any ideas of what to do next?

Adobe retired this Feb 17, 2014.
This app sent content to and got content from the web based services of "CreatPDF" and "PDF Pack".
These are subscription services out in "the cloud". When the app was live you had to be online and signed into your account. The user forum for CreatePDF has a DOC that speaks to the app removal.

Macbook pro ipod nano does not work after plugging in

I plugged in an iPod nano to my MacBook Pro which has two operating systems, one is OS and the other is Windows. I don't know which generation the iPod nano is. The PC side of the MacBook Pro is working but the OS side is not working. It allows me to login and then shows a blank white screen with the pointer cursor.
The iPod nano was plugged in to add music from iTunes. I plugged it in, opened iTunes, and the iPod nano was not recognized on iTunes or on the computer in Finder. I unplugged the iPod nano and closed iTunes. When I opened iTunes again, it gave me an error and will not open iTunes again. I restarted the computer and this is when the OS side stopped working and the PC side continued to work. I was able to load OS in Safe Mode though.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help. Thanks!

I had the same issue...of course i went swimming with my iPod but still. If it is the battery that is giving you trouble then go back to your local apple store or call them. Ask what the most reliable place for iPod repair is. A second option (what I did) is to go into the iPod recycle program. They take your old iPod and either give you a discount on the new one of the same style or a discount on a new one of the 3rd gen. I recomend the first option if your iPod is unused.

Itunes page does not show full page w/license agreement..nano does not work

Searching a pdf file including both latin caracters and other (HERE: greek) . Entering words in English works but entering greek words the search function does not work

in a serachable dictionnary ( old greek-English) in pdf format the search function works when entering English words but not when entering greek words using the polytonic Greek keyboard from Windows. Why ? Is there a solution to search for Greek words ?

Try a copy/paste some of the Greek text out into Word. Does it display as expected in Word?

My nano does not work with Windows 8

My Nano was able to access my music library with my old computer (XP OS). I just upgraded to Windows 8. Now my library can only be seen; I cant interact, play songs etc). Has anyone had this problem? I was told at the apple store, "I have to purchase the music AGAIN...Thats insane!!!

Your computer was made long before Windows 8 ever existed your computer is not compatible period. Your drivers and software will be major issues. Even for my HP Touchsmart 600-1050 Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit isn't' Yes I can install it but I would loose my faatures not as many as you would tough. You already have a great computer you just need to learn other methods of using it. People do not realise we already have alot of Windows 8 features already. If you like Windows 8 Internet Explorer features just download Sarfi from Apple.com In the tool bar click on the little boxes icon. Now your favorites are icons similar to The way windows 8 works except better one touch or click closes out everything on web search unlike Windows 8, Lot of experts had to search for drivers made changes in the bios some even changed their cards. Microsoft Office Word 2007 product key does NOT work

my laptop model is Satellite - A505-S6980 and I've been using Microsoft Word but everytime I use it, it prompts me to enter a product key. Which I found on the bottom of my laptop and it is saying its invalid and after 25 times that I try to access microsoft word I will no longer be able to use the features it has. What should I do? if its the correct product key where can I find it? my microsoft word was already installed in my laptop so I do not have a CD. I've also already tried searching through microsoft forums and tried some stuff but it is not helping.

that is because the product key on the bottom of the laptop is for windows not office. the office that was installed on your laptop is a 60 day trial so if it has been that long you will need to buy it. if you dont want to buy it you can try open office which is almost the same and free. if you do want to buy it i believe if you buy 2007 you will get a free upgrade to 2010 but you would have to check on the microshaft site. 2010 comes out in june

Nano does not work! Screen frozen, Not recognized by computer nor iTunes

I have problems with my iPod, today I turned it on to listen to music, but when I selected the song and pressed play, the screen was frozen, I left so this morning until arriving to the Office. Then I tried access by Windows trying to format it, but the system did not recognize it well, i mean system stops, then with iTunes tried to recognized and a screen appeared saying that I needed to restore, then I did, but another alert appeared up saying that there was a problem with the system and couldn't restore, I am trying to format it by DOS, but still is frozen. I already tried all the manuals here to fix it, but nothing works.
Please can anyone help me out with this?

Check out the article below to troubleshoot issues with your iPod shuffle not showing up in iTunes. Also make sure that you have the cable plugged in completely to your iPod Shuffle and not just slightly pushed in.

Save document from word into sharepoint library does not work !

I'm trying to resolve a problem that i have with word and my sharepoint website.
Some of my users have to open and RDP session on a windows 2008 server and work from there. They open their session with their credential and they do everything they do in local on sharepoint using IE.
BUT, we have always and ever had an issue on this server as they c'ant save a document (Word or Excel) from office. They have to upload it from sharepoint uising IE. In example, i want to save my document from word into the sharepoint document library I have
this error message :
"Windows doesn't find (http://intranet.sharepoint.com/DocumentLibrary/). Check and retry".
If I open my sharepoint site and i upload the document it works perfectly. Also if I open and edit an existing document from any library it will work with word. The problem seems to happen when i want to browse sharepoint from word for saving files...
As this server is a windows 2008, IE version is 9 and the office version is the same as on all computers (Office 2010 SP2 32Bit)
Any help would by appreciated

I understand you encountered the issue when save document from Office client application to SharePoint 2010 site.
Is there any Proxy settings in networking side? Please bring up IE > Internet options > Connections > Lan settings. If so, please uncheck options in Proxy server and test the issue again.
If you have deploy GPO to add SharePoint site into Trusted sites, please check if there is any other GP associated with trusted sites that might affect the issue. You could also remove it from Trusted sites via IE options and test the issue again.
In addition, please provide more error message to help narrow down the issue, you could locate error information in Event log at least.

- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.
- If no, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

Have you tried using the iPod with another user account or computer, to help narrow down whether the problem lies with the computer, account, or the iPod itself?
Maybe try reformatting it, using the tools provided by Windows. Instructions on how to reformat your iPod can be found in this article.

The "portable document format" icon is a Word 2010 icon, so selecting Adobe Reader as action does not work to display the PDF.

In the Applications tab -- Content Type -- the "portable document format" icon is a Word 2010 icon (not Adobe), so selecting Adobe Reader or preview in Firefox as action does not work to display the PDF. I can see this Applications difference because my other Firefox laptop has the Adobe icon, and I can view PDFs. Essentially, a PDF is coming in as a Word document -- and the computer tries to open it up as a Word file.
How do I get the correct PDF icon in the Applications list -- the same way it displays (and works) on my other laptop.
