Anybody please help me, What is work center repository and how can we use for navigation between the BSP component, if anybody have documentation on CRM Web UI please forward to me.

If it's still relevant for you. You can change default work center in navigation bar profile of your business role (tx. CRMC_UI_NBLINKS). On the first screen (where all navigation bar profiles are displayed) there is a third column "Link ID". Here you put link id of the default Work Center.

You basically need to ensure that your custom work center is assigned to a navigation bar profile; and this navigation bar profile is assigned to your business role.

Navigating directly from ECC(ABAP) to CRM UI Work Center/Link
Hi gurus,
I tried searching and couldn't find a relevant answer so I hope someone can help. We'd like to go directly from an ECC custom transaction we use to view our inventory and navigate directly to a specific work center/logical link within the WebUI that will display some custom development we've done to streamline the quote entry process. Parameters are passed from the inventory transaction and then pre-populated into a custom screen we developed.
I've seen tons of documentation on launching R/3 transactions from within WebUI and I know how to go directly to a specific object using a formatted URL but I can't find any info on going directly to a specific work center menu entry and/or a direct logical link from within ABAP.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks in advance.Hi James,

In the document mentioned above is a way to create a URL to the WebClient directly opening a specifc UI Component in the UI Frame.
You could even open this one in an HTML control inside your transaction.

How to create a copy of a Work-Center?
Dear Experts,
in SAP CRM 7.0 i have made a copy of the Work Center SRV-MD. The name of the copy is: ZSRV-MD. The most important data can be found in the following table:
Workcenter Standard Workcenter Copy Logical Link Destination ID Component
SRV-MD SRV-MD SRV-MD-WC SRV-MD-WC WCC_SRV_ACC_PRO
SRV-MD ZSRV-MD ZSRV-MD-WC SRV-MD-WC WCC_SRV_ACC_PRO
I want to use both Work-Center for the same Role. My problem is that I want to define for both workcenter different Logical Links. But when I change the links on the first workcenter it is changed too for the other one.
Do I have to create a Z-Component to avoid that? The problem might be that the same Destination ID is used which is leading to the same Component?

I have defined a a new Target-ID (ZSRV-MD-WC) for the created Z-Component: ZWCC_SRV_ACC_PR (Copy of WCC_SRV_ACC_PRO).
Then under:
Customer Relationship Management -> UI Framework -> Technical Role Definition -> Define Navigation Bar Profile
I have created a new Logical Link with the following data:
Logical Link ID: ZSRV-MD-WC
Type: B Work Center
Target ID: ZSRV-MD-WC
This Logical Link I have assigned to the Z-Work-Centre:
Work-Center ID: ZSRV-MD
Logical Link: ZSRV-MD-WC
But the problem is that the system still is calling the Standard Component WCC_SRV_ACC_PRO. In which method I can make a debug or look for the problem? -
Buyer Work Center Document Builder Error in Purchasing

I am getting this error in BWC(Buyer Work Center) for PO's which can be updated by using Requistion Tab choosing update in document builder for existing PO's.
next sequel number is not populated in update document builder page for PO's. did any one faced this kind of problem. This is not happening with all of the user systems, only with few that's wierd.
Navigation:
Purchasing Super User >> Buyer Work Center >> Requisition
Here selecting requisition number to be added/updated to existing PO's. once we do "Add To Order" update for PO in document builder.
Immediately throwing an error below, actually it should take next line to existing PO, its not happening.
*"You cannot combine this line with another line because the Item Numbers are different."*
What would be cause for this, I tried in Metalink oracle support to find something on this, But No luck.
Please advice, what steps to be taken to resolve this.

1. have the BI team create a webversion of the report. (not required when calling a query directly
2. create in SPRO --> CRM --> UI Framework --> UI Framework Definition --> Display SAP NetWeaver BI Reports in CRM the reports you want to display
e.g. BI Report ID Z_DYBE_GROSS_SALES_CUST_MAT
Long description Revenue per customer/materialgroup
BI Object Type HT Template 3.x (depending on your BI version)
BI Object Key ZWCOPALM01_PPS_REVENUE_ARTG_V2
BI System (when using the webtemplate, nothing needs to be filled)
3. create in SPRO --> CRM --> UI Framework --> Technical Role Definition --> Define Navigation Bar Profile
a. A logical link for each BI report.
e.g. Logical Link ID ZDB-ACC-DE
Type D BI report
Target ID DISPLAY
Parameter Z_DYBE_GROSS_SALES_CUST_MAT
Parameter Class CL_CRM_GEN_UI_BI_UTIL
Icon Name GC_ICON_REPORTS
Title Revenue per customer/mater.
Description Revenue per customer/materialgroup
b. Include in the relevant Report Work Center Link the logical links you have created in step 3.a
e.g. Group ID SLS-ACC-RE
LogLinkID ZDB-ACC-DE position 80
c. Make sure that your work center link is assigned to the work center
e.g. Work Center ID SLS-REPORT
GroupID SLS-ACC-RE position 10
d. Make sure that your work center is assigned to your navigation bar profile
at this moment the report is linked to a standard workcenter, which can be shown on the webui.
4. In your business role, you need to of course make sure that the flags on the workcenter entries are set on show in menu and directly.
This should give you the complete picture.

Combine Work Center Link Groups in one Work Center
Hello Experts,
our requirement is to combine the Work Center Link Groups of several Work Centers into one Custom Work Center.
For example, the work centers Knowledge Management and Managing Operations. (IC-MGRKM, IC-MGRMA)
They have Work Center Link Groups like IC-MGMA-CR or IC-MGKM-CR. Now we defined an own work center Y-IC-MGRMA and assigned these links groups (and others) to the Work Center.
However, when we open the Work Center we only ever see links of one work center type (for example only the links of Knowledge Management).
Is it even possible to combine the different work centers into one big work center with many links? What would we have to do to achieve this?
Help would be appreciated!If I am not wrong you are assigning standard work Center Link Groups like IC-MGMA-CR & IC-MGKM-CR to newly created Work center Y-IC-MGRMA .If I try the same, all related links can be made visible. The process you are following is correct.
You may have confused with the nomenclature of your work center ID - Y-IC-MGRM. Please look into the "Group ID" column, if you are assigning standard group links as mentioned above you will find three logical link ID for Knowledge management & two for MGMA too. In short if five logical links are available in second level navigation then things are correct at you end. I tried it and its working fine.

In our ZIC_AGENT, I have defined the navigation bar that contained the 'IC_BPIDENT:account identification' work center. This is as default pages whatever ending phone call on webclient or cancell any action, it also jump to 'IC_BPIDENT' view.
I want to enhance the function, when i end a call from webclient ,it could jump to 'call list' work center instead of 'account identificaton'.
did you have any ideas ,please tell me.

Validation on Work center link

After confirmed the Iobject, I want to do some validation to prevent the creation of service order by clinking on work center link ( Left side navigation bar area ) and want to display error message.
Can anybody please help me how to achieve the functionality.

I could not understand what do you mean by "Iobject".
If it is specific to some authorization based on the links then yes there is a way through defining parameter class in the logical link.

How to make the IC_EMAIL work center working?
Hi Gurus,
I am testing the email funcation of SAP delivered business role UTIL_IC (Utilities IC Agent). The email profile is 'DEFAULT' with email provider as ICI. The work center is IC_EMAIL.
After I clicked the email option under communication through the navigation bar, the email screen was loaded. However, there is no any response after I clicked the 'new email' button (the BP was confirmed). Also the screen was frozen in the email screen and it did not go anywhere no matter what else option I chose in the navigation bar.
I checked the naviagtion bar profile UTL-IC and IC_EMAIL is maintained in the generic outbound plug mapping as below.
IC_EMAIL Display IC_EMAIL2 (LogLinkID)
IC_EMAIL Create TEMAILCR (TargetID)
Could you help to shed some light on this? Also does anyone know which component is behind this IC_EMAIL screen (I could not choose any field in this screen to press F2)?

Work Center sub items postition change
Hi ,
I am new to CRM. Got a requirement to change the positionof the Work Center sub items.
I could able to change the main work center positons (Using t.code crmc_ui_nblinks) .whereas for the sub items, i do not know where to go & change the positions. Appreciate anyone's help.

Each work center internally contains no of groups, each group contains no of logical links ( sub levels ).
First we need to give position for groups. ex. search, creates are groups -> we can enter positions for this in the same trx crmc_ui_nblinks .. click on the workcenter and search for ur work center and select it . Click on second level navigation and change the position.
For changing the position for logical link:
go to the Define Work Center Link Groups and search for your group id and click on the second level navigation. Here you can change the position for the logical link ( sub items ).

Go to define WorkCenter, choose MD-ALL and change the title.

I changed the sequence in OP13, But screen sequence does automatically change as per sequence maintain in OP13.
If we use the navigation tool, then only system take you to the next Tab Page which we maintain in the OP13.
Can it be possible to diaplay the Tab Page sequence as per OP13 at the time creation of work center?

Buyer Work Center performance and persoanlizations
Hi All,
we are currently on R12.1.3 and we've few issues with the way the Buyer Work Center is working
1) The performance of BWC is very slow. Navigating from one field to another field takes at least 5seconds. For fields like project, task, org etc the form takes 10seconds also. Combining all this, creating a PO with 10 lines takes about 10-15mins for our users. Is this normal? Are there ways to improve the performance?
2) There are multiple screens to navgiate. First the users start off with header then to line summary and then to line details/schedules/distributions etc. Is there a simple way to make all information available in one single page so that the users do not have to spend time navigating from one screen to another screen? This will be really helpful for users creating POs with more than 10lines. I'm thinking of persoanlizing the PO line summary screen and make POET available there. Has anyone done any customizations to the PO line summary screen?
I'm sure you must have faced similar issues with your clients. Please let me know if you handled these issues.

Actually most of the key fields from the header, lines, shipments and distributions are available at the distribution tab and you can add many more fields by clicking on the "Add Another" field. Moreover, you can save the final view for future reference so that you don't need to add the same fields again.
Yes, it is a workaround, as you will see repeated lines for multi shipment and distribution scenarios but single shipment - distribution scenario will be OK.
