No as sending documents is forbidden in the SDN forums. If you just go through this forum you will find links to the tutorials in SAPHelp and some external ones. So please put in a little effort and try to find them.

I just got my mac a month ago so go easy on me but I was just working with the pages that was already on it, and then today I know it updated, and now I am unable to open a lot of my documents!:( Idk what you mean by the icloud version lol sorry! As for the version, when I open pages from my apps and click 'about' it says version 5.1? And when I open the document it just goes grey and kind of blinks and doesnt open? Why do we have to install 2 add ins for something that should be built in? Please add this to the next version or an update to this one even. We should see the full path of a bookmark when we search for it. Show Parent Folder alone isn't enough if you have sub folders, so I installed Go Parent Folder as well in case of sub folders.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry.

I assume you are aware that SUP2.1.x offers you two kind of functionality.
1. Typical SUP (Using MBOs) functionality.
2. Online data proxy (ODP) -- For online application using REST services.

I saved a document in pages and have overtyped, I thought I was savings a separate document. It seems to have overridden the original. Is there anyway to get the original document back?

Hi, I have produced a letter on pages and saved this. Then I needed to send another letter to the same person and overtyped the original. I thought I was saving a version so would have both. It seems that the original is no longer there and the second one has saved in its place. Is there any way I can retrieve the original. I did not have timetravel installed, but do now.

Assuming that you began your editing session by saving your work somewhere, you should be able to scroll back through your document in roughly 10-minute intervals, or less if you saved a version more often than that by typing Command-S, which would be good. Click on the document name and select Browse all Versions.
If, on the other hand, you opened a new document and typed for hours without ever giving your document a name and storage location and then overwrote it, you may be out of luck. Perhaps someone who knows more about the internals than I will come along and tell you where you could poke about in the file system to look for a temporary file that might contain bits of your work. Otherwise you may have to consider it a lesson learned the hard way.
Save early, save often.

Does anybody know a way of protecting PDF documents from printing and/or copying? All this within the OS possibilities? Is there a way?
know one can buy expensive programmes like from Adobe, but I use it so little that I would like a cheaper solution. Freeware would be great, shareware also.

No way to do that using the OS (although the entire pdf can be encrypted, once the password is applied the document is open for copying/printing).
However, the freeware PDFLab does allow password protection, the 'owner' pw allows full access, the 'user' pw can be restricted for printing, copying, etc:

This can also be done with Adobe's Create PDF Online, but the above is free, and works well.

Hi! i'm always trying to learn and pass forward. I'm not here to cause trouble. I have some things that I would like to have confirmed or denied. I do not own a HP computer at this time, but several of the residents in my village do. I have observed some great advice to community members from some smart people here on the forum. I have some things that I have learned from other forums and I want to share them. I would like to have comments from all the smart members here on the community forum. OK here we go!!
Let's say we have a PC that won't boot into windows for some reason. Now IMHO, we have software or hardware problems.
This is what I do. I down load a linux program. It's called Pupply Love.http://puppylinux.org/main/Overview%20and%20Getting%20Started.htm
This is a ISO file that you burn to a CD. It is a live CD and you can boot with it. You do not need a HD.
Even if your PC has no hard disk (ex, broken hard disk), you can still boot Puppy via CD or USB and continue working. Old PCs that no longer work with new systems will still work good-as-new with Puppy.
Now IMHO, you have proved that your monitor,power supply, and CPU are working. So now the HD is left. There are many ways to test your HD. One that comes to my mind is seatools dos.http://www.seagate.com/support/downloads/item/seatools-dos-master/
One way to test your memory is memtest86.http://www.memtest86.com/download.htm
memtest and seatools dos are both live CD's and should boot even if you don't have a working OS.
Another live CD is the system repair CD and the system recovery discs that you should have created on day one.
I realize that HP has some great tools and I'm hoping that a guru will reply to this thread and add their comments. This is the way I learn. Computers can be a pain in the neck, but us humans can hold our own if we are willing to learn and pass forward to others.
