Work flow mailer become inactive each system bounce

Dears ,
RDBMS : 10.2.0.3.0
Oracle Applications : 12.0.4
i have a prblem with my work flow mailer,it becomes in active each time i restart the APPS,
it start this way:
1-i stopped the work flow mailer for more than 3 months,
2-table WF_NOTIFICATIONS contain 400000 record in Mail status
3-so to avoid sending the pending emails in the Outbound Queue to the employees.
4-i used this action plan (from note736508.1);
update WF_NOTIFICATIONS set mail_status = 'SENT' where mail_status = 'MAIL' ;
sqlplus usr/passwd@db @wfntfqup APPSusr APPSpw FNDusr
and then the problem appear?
can any one help?
or any notes may be?

I have created a Action definition say "Z_SEND_MAIL_TO CHANGE_MANAGER : Sending Mail to Change Manger " and given process type as Smart Forms Mail.
My Concern is in Condition Configuration.
I want to give the start confition for Z_SEND_MAIL_TO CHANGE_MANAGER action as

In the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 if you see the table parameter RECEIVERS you have field COPY, you can mark it as 'X' for the user who should be copied to. Now since user can belong to any of the following categories. If you are using SAP inbox then use the first category.
SAP user name of the recipient
SAPoffice name of the recipient
Shared distribution list
Fax number in the form of structure SADRFD
Internet address in the form of structure SADRUD
Remote SAP name in the form of structure SADR7D
X.400 address in the form of structure SADR8D
You can directly invoke the function module whenever you want to send an eamil. I hope this answers your question.

Work flow mails are not coming to inbox but coming to out box in quality

Hello,
We are working on the implementation of Work flow for Purchase orders.
Work flow customization is completed and even work flow is triggering when ever I create Purchase Order.
Even Agent assignment also completed for work flow tasks via T code PTFC_CHG.
This work flow is working fine in development.
When I moved this workflow to quality I got a problem.
Problem here is Work flow mails are not processing out of SAP Outbox to approvers inbox even also after executing the program RSWUWFML2.
When I triggered the PO in development the work item is moved to SAP out box as well as inbox. In quality It is not coming to SAP inbox.
If I check in SOST,I will not see any of the entries related to work flow mails.
Only above I can see in my SAP Outbox.
So how can I Process these messages to approvers SAP Inbox.
Any body please help me where the problem is

I may be wrong, but on reading ur thread, I feel u r mis interpreting SAP Outbox with Outlook.
Is it so, because u have mentioned about RSWUWFML2 and SOST, which comes into picture only if u r using an external mail like Outlook.
If its Outlook, then there is no doubt that ur work item would get deleted from SAP Inbox and would be present only in Outlook.
If its SAP Outbox, then u r not supposed to get ur work item in ur Outbox unless it is processed or executed thru ur SAP Inbox.

Oracle Work Flow Mailer configuration to use O365 mailbox

Our mailboxes are now in O365 and we would now like to configure our Oracle 11g to use work flow mailer with Office 365 mailbox configuration. There has to be someone that has done this successfully that can share your configuration. Have not had too much
luck with support calls on both ends. I only found one other post in the Office 365 community and it did not give me enough info. to move forward.
We use the SMTP of the oracle server but the IMAP configuration using outlook.office365.com for incoming on port 993 has not been successful. Anyone have any ideas or has done this successfully that can share? Do we need SSL certificate configuration
on the Oracle side?

Event linakge for PO work flow not transporting to Qualty system

I have a problem in Event linkage for PO Release strategy work flow.
I have created a work flow for PO release strategy and done the event linkage through SWETYPV transaction code.
I have added a new entry in SWETYPV transaction code and tick the 'Linkage Activated' check box. I have done this in development server. When I saved it prompted for a request and I have saved this Under the request( Customize request).
When I create the purchase Order for the first time the work flow is getting triggered. When I run the second time its not triggering.
If I observe the reason is 'Linkage Activated' check box is getting unchecked when I create the PO. If I check it again it is asking for a request again.But after next run the linkage is again deactivated.
Can you please help why this is happening.
I have created another request in Customize client and transported first the development client, next the customise client request. When I observe in quality system an entry is created in SWETYPV transaction code for my work flow but 'Linkage Activated' check box is not checked.
How to transport 'Linkage Activated' check box to quality.
This is an urgent one. Any body please help me

Feedback after error - The message is.
The mandatory input parameters of the workflow must be set.
I think I am missing some input parameters.
One more queation, I had transported this already to Quality
But the linkage activation flag is not moved. What could be the reason.

Work flow Version Different in Q system

Work flow Version in the development version 9 and when transport to quality it should be 16 , but in Q system version is activated for 4 . how can I change to 16 Version in Quality system .

It is not a problem if there are different versions between your Development, Test & Production. The versions do NOT have to be aligned...and should not be really.
The way transportation of workflows operates is as folows:
- Create or make a change to a workflow in your development system and transport it to Test.
- If the workflow already exists in Test and it has running instances then a new version of the workflow is created automatically in Test. This is done so that the existing instances (work items) can use the old version and new instances created after the transport can use the new version. If the workflow already exists but had no existing instances (In Test) then it would simply be overwritten with the new transport.
- The same applies when you transport from Test to Production.
You do NOT need to have versions synchronized between systems.

Hi Rajesh,
I think you have given wrong place send mail task in your workflow.
After Approve/Reject Send mail task should be there, then that task subject of workitem will display in Outlook, Ex: " Your PO NO:12345678 has been Approved ".

If your qurey is still unanswered, there are many ways to achieve that.
one way of doing that is to create a multiline workflow container element and use it in the send mail step of the workflow.

Work flow - user is not reciving mail,once CREDIT MEMO submits for approval

Hi All,
Please find the issue as below.
User created the credit memo and submitted for approval. user is expecting the mail in his mail-box, once he submitted the credit memo for approval and same way once approver approved the credit memo, user is expecting mail such that credit memo has been approved.
He informed that previously he is receiving the mails as expected.
Now all of sudden he is not receiving mails.
I have checked work flow mailer, mailer is up and running.
I have gone through the wf_notifications table, here i can see that MAIL_STATUS column having value of "MAIL".
even i have gone through WF_USERS table this particular user is existing and status is "ACTIVE".
But user is not yet received any mail.
Kindly some one help me to sort out this issue.

Later i have checked workflow mailer, it was down, due to that notifications are not reached to users/customers.once it is up and running mail notifications sent to respective users successfully.

SOA services become inactive after bouncing SOA

Hello Experts:
Environment:
SOA 11.1.1.6.0
Web Logic 10.3.6
2 Node Cluster
Node1 --> Admin Server, Node Manager, Managed Server 1
Node2 --> Node Manager, manager Server 2
http Proxy Host --> node.domain.com
2 managed servers and 1 VIP pointing to BOTH node1 node 2.
For example:
Managed Server 1--> node1.domain.com
Managed Server 2 --> node2.domain.com
VIP (http proxy) --> node.domain.com
(This points to node1 and node2)
We are able to create service, deploy and use it successfully. The issue is, Once we bounce the SOA server, the services become inactive and the ONLY way to make ti work is to re-deploy!!!
Note:
This issue happens ONLY when we use the VIP
Anyone seen this before??

Also I have not found the system-jazn-data.xml file you mentioned. In that folder there's only a readme.txt file.

Camera Raw loses system focus and becomes inactive

While working in ACR if I hover over any of the command buttons, Save Image, Open Image, Cancel, or Done for a few seconds the "tool tip" for the button displays and as soon as I move the mouse again the whole Camera Raw windows loses system focus and becomes inactive (every tab, control, menu, etc., becomes greyed out). To regain the system focus I must move the mouse to the windows 7 taskbar and then back into Camera Raw. If the fullscreen checkbox in Camera Raw is active the only way to regain system focus is to press the Windows Key twice on the keyboard and move the mouse out of the taskbar tray. This gets pretty frustrating. Any clues?

It doesn't normally do this, I can assure you. Normally the tooltips just pop up and Camera Raw stays active.
Do you have any desktop management software installed, besides what Windows provides?
Are your video drivers up to date?

Work Flow Notification mailer

Hello Team:
We have enabled work flow notification mailer service in our EBS system. Last week I restarted the services ( ALL Tiers ) and as soon as I did the restart. The business users started to receive Notification mailers. Apparently a bunch of them. I looked at the Workflow configuration settings and I was unable to figure out the setting that triggers this email stuff.
Any idea about where this setting should be checked and tuned . We are on 11.5.10 CU2 and it is running on RHEL 4.0.

If you are using notification mailer services just for testing purpose then update "Set Override Address" option in "Workflow Notification Mailer" services to a active mail a/c, so that all testing mails will be re-directed to this a/c instead of various users mail a/c. But if you are implementing the notification services, then pls go though the notification services implementation document once and set the required parameters as per your business requirements.
Users also disable receiving mails at their end, by editing their e-biz user a/c "preferences" and set e-mail notification style to no e-mail notifications option.
