Work flow - sales order
Good evening to u all.
I wanna know whether there is any standard work flow in SD for the blocked sales orders (For any sort of reason) ? So that the authorised users will receive an email once the sales order is blocked due to certain reasons.
If u have so would u please give me the documentation or any urls please.

Copied layout is not working for Sales order item assinment block
Hi Experts,
I copied the standard componet BT115IT_SLS/items view layout with custom role configuration key and worked fine.
I have added one more field to the item view with the same configuration and saved .When I opended the sales order in the WEB UI , The item assigment block is displaying with complete BTADMINI context fileds and This is the issue.
I have seen configured fields only in the personalization and I have downloaded the items assigment block data to Execl.In the Execl sheet I can able to see the configured fields (availble fileds in the configuration tab in component workbemch) data only.
But Items assignment block is displaying all the fileds (taking from the context node BTADMINI).
I have deleted existing customer configuration and again copied from the standard layout.But I got the same issue.
I have wriiten some code in the ON_NEW_FOCUS and commented the code.Still it not working.
Please help me , where I have done the mistake and provide me some inputs.

Solved isuues myself.
The problem is inconsistency of BTAdminI context node . I have deleted the view enhancement and again enhanced the view .I copied the layout with customer role key and dispalyed expected layout.

Both Credit Limit and L/C are not working in Sales Order
Dear All,
We are working on Export scenario where order are created based on L/C and Credit Limit. In my scenario both credit Limit and L/C check is not happening please suggest.
I have created a sales order with value is 1024.00 INR. (My Credit Price is 1024.00 INR)
Customer credit Limit is 50.00 INR. (In FD32)
My L/C value is 1000.00 INR (In VX11N).
I have Implemented Dynamic Check and Assigned L/C to Sales Order. During Order process system blocking the order through Dynamic check. As per the above value System should not block the order. But System blocking the order. When I check Header -> Billing -> Financial Document Log, System showing the value update error. Its comparing entire Netvalue of the Order(1024) with L/C value (1000). How it is possible.
My requirement is system should consider both Credit Limit and L/C value. Please suggest.

Orange arrow link doesn't work in Sales Order details window, Win2003 only
Here is a weird one, I did some searching around and I couldn't see that anyone had asked about anything like this before.
In Windows Server 2003 when our add-on is running the orange arrow linking back to the Customer window from the Sales Order window does not work. If you click it, nothing happens.

It's odd, it works on every other version of Windows. I didn't even think our code could change that.
Any ideas? Thanks!My machine where this is being tested is using Service Pack 1 Patch Level 12. The customer is running Patch 11. I was able to recreate the problem on our machine using the SAP sample OEC Computers database.
Our add-on does not add any functionality to the Sales Order Window, I traced through some things this morning and I found that we do capture events from the Sales Order Window but clicking the orange arrow does not trigger any actual functionality
It checks out what form the event is from:
If (pVal.FormType = SAP_DELIVERY_FORM) Or _
(pVal.FormType = SAP_QUOTATION_FORM) Or _
(pVal.FormType = SAP_ORDER_FORM) Then
Then it checks the event against some conditions, all of which are false.
Like these ones and a few others
If m_oForm.Type = SAP_DELIVERY_FORM And pVal.ItemUID = BTN_AUTOPACK And pVal.EventType = et_CLICK And pVal.Before_Action = False Then
' Do some stuff
If (pVal.EventType = et_FORM_LOAD) And (pVal.Before_Action = False) Then
' Do some stuff
All of those statements are false in this case, they relate to other forms and general things to do when forms load and close.
I've traced this on a machine where the link works and the Windows Server 2003 machine where it does not and it behaves the same way on both. The only difference is, when it exits the sub that filters through those if statements, on Windows Server 2003 the customer window does not come up and everywhere else it does. Strange.

Multi user working on Sales order

We have created a sales order for 2600 Mt and when we are going for delivery one user can process that document for delivery and billing, if other user want to create delivery at the same time it was locked by the used.
SO please suggest me to how to use the multiuser facility for this order processing.
If this senario does not works then we have to pay demarage charges To railway department.Hi Abdul,
If one user is using the Sales order for Delivery and billing and at same time another user wants to use same Sales order then it will give error message something linke Sales order or material locked by user
But if another user try to create Delivery or billing once first user completed his process then you will not get error.
This is Standard Functionalitity and better not to change this one as this may cause over Delivery and Over billing -
Incoming orders in COPA not working if Sales Order blocked for Credit Check
Hi all,
We need to build a report showing all incoming sales order by entry date and/or change date (change of values or quantities later on). COPA allows to do this, but the problem is that COPA line item table is only updated if the sales order is released from credit check (VKM3). I am looking for a solution to be able to record sales orders in COPA even if they are still blocked for credit check. By doing that we will be able to report all sales orders entered from COPA and provide basis for commissions calculation to the business.
I have investigated possible COPA enhancements like COPA0005 but it doesn't seem to be used at the time of sales order save.

As you said , the credit check in the service order is information message "Credit check (maximum percentage for ope
exceeded)" .
If you enter and come out this message then one more message will come , i.e., "The business transaction can not be carried out" detail message - System status CNOK is active (ORD XXXXXXX).
with the above message , system will not allow to do the Service order release.
In this particular case , we have done the VKM1 for the sales order to unblock the order from credit check . But again system is checking the credit check at service order (created w.r.t sales order) . we are not able to control this .
we also suggested the solution to the customer , saying removal of credit check for service orders . But customer requires credit check to happen at both the documents. -
Purchase order on Hold is not working from Sales Order document
Hello gurus,
I'm detecting a problem that I have.
I have created a Sales Order and then, this document create a Purchase Requisition in automatic.
So, when I create the purchase order, adopting the purchase requisition, I want to save this as on Hold.
The problem is that the button "Hold" is missing.
But, if I create a purchase requisition and I register the sales order directly (account assignment "E") and then, I create the purchase order, adopting the purchase requisition, the button "Hold" is not missing.
I have active the BADI to Hold, but, it is only mention restrictions with Third Party and Services, not with Sales Order normal.
Could you help me please a.s.a.p.?

creation of an Enjoy purchase order (transaction ME21N) and when a PO
that is on hold is changed (transaction ME22N).
Note
Enjoy purchase orders cannot be put on hold if any of the following
criteria apply:
o The PO contains service items
o The PO contains "third-party" items
o Commitment errors are involved
o Subsequent (period-end volume rebate) settlement is involved
In the case of stock transfers within a company code, the "Hold" function
is generally inactive. If an application object contains an error of any

New Condition Table not working in Sales order
Dear All,
I am facing problem in pricing procedure. I have created new condition table(LIFNR & ROUTE), included Vendor(Fwd Agent) and Route in condition table with sales area. I have added that condition table in access sequence and assigned access sequence to condition type. Then Condition type added into pricing procedure and assigned pricing procedure to document type.
In sales order I've added route and fwd agent but while checking in analysis system does not determine route and fwd agent.

where in sales order it will trigger automatically.
please check the config settings for route determiantion automatically.
so that if route comes automatically into the sales order then from where you will trigger LIFNR.

Material Exclusion Not working in Sales Order
Hi All,
I configured material Listing/Exclusion to make some materials available for(Industrial Sector customer) and exclude for ( Public Sector customer).
I used the following configuration procedures
u2022 Created a Condition table with combination of fields(Sales Organisation, Customer Group and Material).
u2022 Then created two Access sequences and Assigned the Condition table to each Access Sequence.
u2022 Created two condition Types and Assigned the Access Sequence.
u2022 Created Determination Procedure for Listing/Exclusion and Assigned the Condition Types.
u2022 Then assigned the Determination Procedures(Listing/Exclusion) to Order Document Type.
u2022 Using VB01, I created a condition record for Exclusion, select the sales area, defined the Customer Group as Public Sector and selected all the materials to be excluded. Also created the condition record for listing with the customer group defined as (_Industrial Sector_ and selected all the valid materials).
When I create the Sales Order the exclusion materials were allowed for the Public Sector Customer.
Could you please tell me what I am doing wrong?

As someone just told me, it has encountered the problem before and that sometime if the backup tables are not supportive it will not reflect?

Exhange Rate not working in sales order
Dear all,
I am facing a problem with exchange rate, I have maintain exchange rate procedure in customer master with exchange rate INR 70 = 1 EUR, Now I am creating Sales order where as i m changing Exchange rate INR 65 = 1 EUR, in sales document header as well line item, but surprisingly system is not considering 65, it is only considering 70, But i want system must consider 65 which i m manually changing in sales order.
Please suggest me to solve the problem

After changing the Exchange rate are you updating the price by going to Item conditions? If not then update the price by clicking on update button and then select B : Carry out new pricing.

Pricing Type D to work for sales order to sales order copy controls
Hi,
Issue: Pricing type D does not work while creating a debit memo request in reference to the credit memo request.
Credit memo request and debit memo request have identical pricing procedures.
But in this case, the credit memo was created with reference to a billing document which had a different pricing procedure and the pricing procedure components of the billing document was copied entirely into the credit memo request with pricing type D in the copy control.
But when this credit memo request is referenced to create a debit memo request with the pricing type D in the copy control, the price is re-determined in the debit memo request. But the scenario requires, the pricing elements to be copied completely from the credit memo request.
Please advise for the corrections or on the changes to be made to the requirement.

In the Copy control routine of the Item , you find the routine being used, Inside this Routine , you will find a statement like
MOVE-CORROSPONDING CVBRK to VBAP
This statement is actually transfering all feilds from billing document to the Order with the Billing Pricing Procedure.
Just add one line before this statement " LOCAL CVBRK-KALSM
or
CVBRK-KALSM = VBAK-KALSM
This will give you the new Determined Pricing Procedure.
this is a change in code of the Routine , may be you need to copy and create a new routine to add this line. -

You said that your user mistyped the SO number and it resulted in a -quant. In which transaction was it possible? If I give a non existing no. SAP doesn't allow me to book.
If I were you I would check both in WM & IM what the user had done...step-by-step...
Negative quant comes to existance in interim storage type if we book e.g. a GI. It should have started in IM...how was your user be able to do that??? If it was possible cannot you reverse the IM booking?
(...if all else fails...cannot you create a SO document with external number assignment with the same number?...)

What are the user-exits which will trigger on saving Sales Order

I am working on Sales Order VA01. The requirement is I need to pre populate Sold-to-Party field. I find out user-exit (V45A0002 Predefine sold-to party in sales document ). So it is working fine.
Now second requirement is I need to capture all the date once user saves Sales Order. Also the time or Sales Order creation I have to make u2018GRAYu2019 some of the fields so user cannot change the value. Can anybody tell me which user-exits should I use to retrieve the entire information user entered and lock fields in Sales Order screen?

U can't find it there,because it's a include, not enanchement.
So u need to use the trx SE38, not CMOD.
For sales ored there aren't the enanchements, but only some FORMs defined in particular includes.
U need to get the access key by OSS in order to change them.

FIFO based pricing issue on sales orders!
This is the situations :
All setups in the comany are for FIFO. Item Level, Item Group Level, and Company Level.
1. We purchased 1 item1 for 125 dollars. PO invoice completed. First one in FIFO layer.
2. purchased 1 more of same item1 for 150 dollars. PO Invoice completed. Second in FIFO layer.
3. We want to sell above items to Customer1. Customer1 has price list set to - Last Evaluated Price.
4. Ran Inventory Audit Report to update the price list LastEvaluatedPrice.
5. Start order for Customer1 and add 1 item1 to order -
Price = 125 <== OK.
Make the above quantity 2 or add another line for item1.
Error : Price=125 <=== NOT OK, should be 125 for first item and 125 for second item (same item).
6. Run Audit Report again and repeat step 5.
Error : No change. Same as step results. That is price=125 instead of 150.
NOTE: Customer could end up in loss based on above pricing.
7. Yes there are workarounds :
7.1 Run Inventory Valuation Report for the item with MovingAverage as the price. Then the evaluated price is right.
7.2 Right click or run a query and get the price in layers and then calculate your own.
Note: No workarounds are good for customer. They and their staff do no want to open additional windows or run queries etc.
QUESTION: Why is FIFO pricing not working for Sales Order?
Note: Why would anyone use FIFO? It could give them big loss or big profits all unintended?
Please help? Is this FIFO problem, or my setup problem or something I do not understand?

Open sales order select that item and right click in unit price column and select "last prices" option. Then Last prices form will open just deselect BP Code check box and select vendor. you can see there prices in detail level just double click on row which price you want.

Dynamic Credit Checks - Different Horizon for Sales Order & Delivery
Hi Experts ,
had a query . I am testing a scenario for Dynamic credit Check where the Horizon is ZERO for Sales Order & 3 Months Horizon for deliveries. How should the system behave in such a case. What would be the best way to test whether system behaviour is ok as per this expectations.
Also I would like to know whether "0" horizon for sales order means that system looks into the entiire list of open sales orders or the horizon of check is only upto the end of the current month . In FD32 the curent date is indiacted as the horizon date. While creating sales orders today I found dynamic block for 0 horizon is only working for sales orders with availabilty date upto 7th July '10 which neither covers the existing month-June & neither full of July. Beyond that there is no dynamic block soccuring.That made me a bit confused .
Please advice with you valuable inputs.
