Work Flows - Multiple receipts of same Information by a Recipient

Hi Everyone,
Single recipient receiving multiple mails of same information in the Workflows. This problem has araised after change of Mail Server from MS Exchange Server to Linux OS Mail Server and earlier to this few workflows were not working and showing "Objects were not found". Please suggest any techical change to be made in the configuration.

Multiple message generated what type of message?
If it is as send mail step that is being sent then may be the user id is maintained in the agent assignment twice. Check the Workflow Log.
If it is a notification for a particular workitem then it may be that you are executing the program RSWUFML2 twice in different batch jobs.
the 2nd scenario is more realistic. Also automatic forwarding may also be set through
SBWP->Settings->Office Settings->automatic forwarding.

Self secured page not working in multiple sessions of same browser

Hi
I have created a selfsecured page by making security mode of page 'selfsecured' and adding validateParameter() in page controller.I didnt do guest user/resp setup as I want user to manually provide user id and choose responsibility,XLA_LINESINQ_GL_DRILLDOWN is a seeded function so no changes there.
I am seeing very inconsistent behavior.
1)At some times when I invoke function through url

Am I missing something in my implementation?Are there any fnd profiles which control page behavior.Does OAF support that self secured pages successfully open in multiple browser windows.

Is there any specific requirement to make the page as self secured, as most of the self selcured pages are build for guest user account. If there is any, kindly share.
Now lets talk about the behaviour of the pages in different scenarios
1) I get error "You are not authorized to access the function SLA: View Subledger Journal Entry Linesfrom a GL Journal Line. Please contact your System Administrator."
Comment: As OAF pages does certain initialization like setting org_id, language etc based on the login user. But as you are trying to access the page by directly hitting the URL on browser, this might be one of the reason that you are getting above error.

Comment: As there is an active transaction and session for the browser, so it won't allow you to start with another transaction. But still can you try to do the same in another machine. Some of the browser allows you to have different session.

Sound system not working for multiple programs at same time.

So first off I have an HP Envy m6 Notebook Windows 8 laptop with an AMD10 processor, no added in cards or anything.
I am using headphones and the first program I run after starting up my computer (WoW, itunes, winamp, youtube video, etc) is the only program that will work with my headphones until I again restart my computer. Everything else after that just won't output sound at all. I have no idea why this is, when I got to device managers > sound and try to set my headset as default device, I'm not allowed to do that either. Along with this it even says sound is coming out of my computer's speakers when its actually coming out of the headset. Anyone know why and can help?

ITunes and synching multiple iPods with same information

Is there a way to synch multiple iPod touches, iphones etc. with exactly the same music, movies, apps? The music can be done with a playlist but how do I set up my content once, save that setup and use it for multiple devices? I am thinking some named setup that is stored when synching.

Payment release through work flow

Hi Friends,
I am new for work flow.
I have activated payment release work flow (WS 00400021) and same has assigned to user.
But when i am making payment through F-53, system is posting the transaction and getting posted.
I dont how to excute the transaction through work flow. But where as i have completd the configuratuion part according to configuration document.
Please help me the above scenario.

Triggering a sub work flow for multiple users at same time.

I have a scenario in which I have created sub workflow as an activity for approval process. This sub work flow should be triggered for multiple users at the same time and their decison is independent of each other.
This is like creating multipe instance of the same sub work flow and then the sub work flow runs indepedently as a new work flow for each of the approver and the process is completeded for approver independently.
How can this be achieved?

Tyr to do like this,
1. First include the subworkflow in the main workflow template.
2. Now include standard Block Step in the main workflow template.
3. In the block select the block type as ParForEach.
4. Before doing the 3rd point make sure that all the agents for whom you want whom you want to initiate the workflow, populate them in a Multiline conatiner element.
5. Once completing 3rd and 4th points open the block step under the tab ParallelProcessing assign the multiline container element name in the for e;g if the multi line container element name is COSTCENTER then do the binding like below. the conatiner element COSTCENTERLINE is created by default once you include the multi line conatiner element under parller processing tab.
&COSTCENTER[&_WF_PARFOREACH_INDEX&]& --------> &_COSTCENTER_LINE&
Now assign the agent of the subworkflow as COSTCENTERLINE , imean if suppose you have 3 entries in the internal table then three separate and for three different agents the workflow is instantiated.

Need clarification ,is work flow configuration & custmization T.Codes in srm same as in r/3.
For example:Starting condition defining in srm is through SPRO>SRM>SRM server>Cross appl basic settings>sap business work flow
And in R/3 it is through T.Code PFTC

Anybody got a better work flow for backing up multiple shoot day projects?

Many of my projects are shot over multiple days. I import media at the end of each day and back up the event to another drive before deleting media from cameras/cards. So on day 2 I have one of three work flows for updating my back-ups.
1. If I'm feeling lucky. I delete the previous back-up project from the back-up drive. And then make a new copy of the original event and add the date to the title after the word copy.
2. I make a new copy of the event to the backup drive and date it. When it's done copying and been verified I delete the back-up event from the same back-up drive.
3. I've just started copying new clips from the original media folder in the original event to the back-up project. It's more work keeping track of all the newly added media files and there is more chance of making an ommision.
Anybody got a better work flow for backing up multiple shoot day projects?

What you need:
You will need two identical external drives and a copy of Carbon Copy Cloner. CCC is free. The drives could be USB 2 if all you are doing is backing up. If you plan on editing with the drive(s), you'll want firewire. Each needs to be large enough to contain the raw card contents for the duration of your gig.
The Process:
At the end of the first day's recording, connect the two drives to your computer (if firewire, daisy chain them / if USB, you'll need two USB 2.0 ports)
On the first hard drive (Drive 1) create a folder - call it BigDealLecture
Inside of BigDealLecture, create a folder and use the nameing convention "BDL_Date_card number for that day" - so if you used 2 cards today, you should create BDL_2012-02-15_01 and BDL_2012-02-15_02
Attach your card reader or camera to the system.
Lock the cards so they can not be erased
Insert Card 1 into the reader
Select ALL contents of the card and copy them to the folder you created for the first card for today
When it is complete, eject the card, insert card 2, copy its contents to the folder for card 2
eject the card
Launch CCC and do a clone of Drive 1 to Drive 2. You can set it to do a complete block by block clone or an incremental backup. Either will work.
When finished cloning, test a random sample of the clips on both drives to make sure they work.
When satisfied the copies work, put Drive 2 in the hotel safe.
Put the Drive 1 in a place where you can grab it if there is an emergency in the night and erase the cards to get ready for the next day.
Take Drive 1 with you to the lecture site the next day.
Rinse and repeat daily.
When the conference is over, send one of the drives via FedEx or some other same day service to your office. Pack the second drive in your bags for the trip home.
A note: If you have enough downtime durning the conference between obligations, you can do the transfer from the cards to Drive 1 on site and do the clone when you get back to your room. Don't unlock and erase the cards until you are satisfied the copy/clone process was without incident.

Transaction MM60 printing multiple lines for the same information

Transaction MM60 is printing the same information multiple times, meaning that the same materail is printing multiple times with the exact same information. Any ideas why?

It IS showing duplicate lines. The columns that I'm showing are:
Material
Plant
Val. Type
Material Description
Last Change
MTyp
Matl Group
Unit of measure
Purchasing group
ABC indicator
MRPType
Valuation Class
Price Control Indicator
Price
Currency
Price Unit
Created by
Every single field is identical and each material contains exactly eight rows of identical information. The interesting thing is that if I actually enter a material number, only one line shows (which is correct.) However, if I leave the material number blank and enter the material type, that's when we get multiple lines.
Any other ideas?

Sql Query need to extract the Work Flow information from Hyperion Planning

Can Any one give me the sql query to extract the Work flow from Hyperion Planning in 11.1.2.1.
I can extract from the Hyperion Planning but it is not in required format again I need to do lot of formating. I need the information as per the flow structure is showing linke in one perticular planning unit in all coloumn format. Hence only sql query will help me to extract this kind of information. could any one provide the sql query to extract this kind of request.

There is the structure of the planning application tables, have a look at the HSP_PM_* tables
Alternatively you can look at extracting the information using LCM.

We are implementing SRM 5.0 .
The problem we are facing is that when we test the service BBPSTART , the number of work flow entries in the inbox for all users is same .
We created a new user on SRM and tested BBPSTART with this user...it shows the same number of work flow entries in the inbox..
What is the problem?

In this activity, you start a background report that defines certain tasks within the workflows of Enterprise Buyer as standard tasks. Any user can perform standard tasks, such as "Approve User Master Record". You use the workflow definition to narrow down who can actually perform the task. For example, in the case of approval of user master records, this depends on the organizational unit to which the new user master record belongs.
You must perform this activity during the initialization of the Enterprise Buyer system, otherwise the SAP Business Workflow cannot determine who the approver should be.
