Diagnosis
    You are trying to create a production order/process order for a material
    before the work scheduling data has been maintained.
System Response
    The production order/process order has not been created.
Procedure
    Maintain the data for material SAREE in the view for work scheduling in
    the material master.
please kinldy help me to maintain this work scheduling data,. i cant find this in MM01.

Hi,
To maintain work scheduling view go to transaction code MM50 & then in selection fields select maintenance status as A (work scheduling, then enter plant no, material no & material type. After this execute this transaction.
This will lead you to WS view, on work scheduling view maintain the details as needed.

I wanted to up the quantities for the following material in stocks: 200000060
I then went to TC- ME21N and the system came out with the following message:
Account assignment mandatory for material 200000060 (enter acc. ***.
Material 200000060 not maintained by Purchasing
Can anyone explain to me where to maintain this account assignment as there appear to have at least 2 fields in the Material Master Data with a similar name.
Also can you explain to me how to maintain this material in Purchasing please.

Hi,
You have not maintined purchasing view and account view 1 for this material for that particular plant for which you are making the P.O.
In the accounting view you have to enter the valuation class and price for the material and if this filled then it will not ask for account assignment while doing me21n.

i hv maintained data in kp26

my prob. started during cost cal. in prod. order first error was version 0 not maintained for fiscal year 2007, THEN i maintained it in the path as told by you T code OKEQ.
but after that error changed to CONTROL DATA FOR ACTIVITY TYPE NOT MAINTAINED ( 1000/4230/1420)
i maintained data in kp26, but the error is still coming
pl. suggest some solution as i am not able to proceed further.

Scheduling dates from sales order not confirmed

Hi All,
I have configured CRM_APO_ECC integration in system. But getting few error on CR$M-APO side. Can you please sugest on these queries:
1. order entered in CRM, ATP check is triggered in GATP & confirm dates & vendor (plant) populated with 2 schedule lines. But when I save the order, I get RED signal on item details tab, also I could not see order in RRP3.
2. Second query is regarding RBA. I have configured location sub rule. But when the qty in initial plant is less, it does not give me the substitute location, rather it proposes me later date considering the checking horizon maintained in product master.
But when I manipulate the same material with error (i.e. by removal of ATP group in product-loc master), and create order for same material, I can see the rule in place when ATP is triggered and can see 2 line items on ATP screen, first showing RED light (for which ATP grp isnt maintained) and 2nd is one with substitute location. In this case, it works. Where is my config missing?
Please help me with these 2 situations.

Hi All,
I got answer to this (i.e. query # 2), rule based plant was not available when triggered from CRM.
Now i can see it, Solution is - Activation of preselection activation key. I activated it in APO Requirements profile for CRM & also in Check instructions.
Thus I can see all sub plants.
However, my 1st query is still under search. My scheduling dates are not getting confirmed. Following is the scenario:
initial plant (USA1) has no stock in RRP3, but still showing green & accepting orders:
When I chose alternative plant USA2 where I have stock, 2 scheduling lines are generated, 1 for initial plant & 2nd for USA2. There is no error message till then. And when I hit save, I get availability confirmation error, schedule line is not confirmed.
After saving, only one line item remains, and plant is USA1, i.e. initial where there is not stock.
Can you please suggest what config might be missing?

Update scheduling data in material master

Hi,
How to update scheduling data from Process order to master recipe in mass. As I can schedule recipe in C202 and update the sceduled data in material master by CA96 & CA97 transactions. But i wants to schedule master recipe in mass. Is there any way to mass update it ?

I have tested in my internal test systems and system correctly updated the material master using CA97, without aky kind of previous scheduling of the master recipe.
Can you please provide a more detailed description of the issue? What is happening if you try to run CA97 without running the scheduling of the mater recipe? How are you running CA97?
You may also try CA97N, which is a newer version of CA97.

Material not maintained by purchasing : error in purchase requisition

Dear Experts ,
I have created a new material of material type ZSPR where the purchasing view is already extended. I can see
the purchasing view after selecting the plant in the material master. But when trying to add the line item in
Purchase requisition for this material ,then i am getting message "Material xxxxxxxxxxxx not maintained by
purchasing".
when I go the material master & click on the purchasing view , message in bottom is shown with tick in green
round background "No plant-specific data exists"
I have created hundreds of materials in past 10 days , but this problem comes only for 3 to 4 materials.
Kindly advise how to resolve.

Hi Anil,
Good day.
This problem occurs because there is no purchasing view plant specific i.e. you may be extended the purchasing view for some other plant.
1. Go to MM01.
2. Select Purchasing view.
3. Enter appropriate plant.
4. Enter relevant data & save.
If this doesn't help revert back.

Auto To working for one material and not working for other material

Hi,
Hope everybody is doing fine.
I have configured the auto TO. Its working fine for one material and not working for the other material. I checked the material master and wm 1,2 views have the same fileds / values. What could be wrong?
I didn't setup the back ground processing job. Is that is affecting it?

Material not maintained in plant P100

while adding material using MB1C T-Code i m getting bellow error
Material "bicycel" not maintained in plant P100 and if i press again getting another message
parameter for plant P100 not maintained in inventory management

Check whether the plant parameters have been maintained for your plant under Inventory management and Physical inventory
If not pl maintain the same in SPRO
Then U will not get the error

Changes to Factory Calendar Not reflected in work schedule

I have updated the exsisting factory calendar in PRD .
Yet the changes do not seem to have taken effect. I have tried to regernerate the work schedule. However I'am not sure I have done that properly.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi.. you cant expect any change in the Factory calender affecting work schedules. If you want the work schedules to be updated with the holidays you need to be updating the holiday calender.
Factory calender is mainly for Plant Schedules, Bank transfers in finance , etc

BAPI PROCESS ORDER Creation u2013 can the SCHEDULE Date/Time be specified?

I am currently using BAPI_PROCORD_CREATE to create a Process Order from an inbound IDOC. This works well, when I pass the following fields:
BAPI Parameter ORDERDATA
ORDER_NUMBER      Process Order number (EXTERNAL)
MATERIAL      Material to be produced
PLANT              Plant
ORDER_TYPE      Order Type
BASIC_START_DATE Start Date
BASIC_START_TIME Start Time
BASIC_END_DATE   Basic End Date
BASIC_END_TIME   Basic End Time
QUANTITY         Process Order Quantity
QUANTITY_UOM     Quantity Unit of Measure
However, I have a requirement to also specify the SCHEDULED Start Date (GSTRS) and End Dates (GLTRS), but the BAPI parameters do not the SCHEDULE Dates to be specified.
I have also used the functions CLOI_CHANGES_UPL_31 and CLOI_CHANGES_UPL_45 to create Process Orders successfully, but neither of these allow for the SCHEDULE dates to be passed in.
Does anyone know how I might be able to achieve such a result?
I am trying to avoid the use of CALL TRANSACTION on COR1, so would be grateful if anyone has any thoughts.
In the mean time, Iu2019ll ask the business if it would be possible to apply any rules by whereby if we specified a BASIC_START_DATE, whether it would be able to derive the correct schedule date accordingly.
PPu2019s not one of my better modules, so apologies if whatu2019s been asked above is a stupid question!

Pls chk in scheduling control for detailed scheduling in T code OPUZ. and change the scheduling type forwards to forwards in time and backwards to backwards in time.
Now when ever you would create the order system would ask the scheduling dates either start or finish in stead of Basic dates.
Instead of using BAPI you could make a simple LSMW pogram. It would talk 5 min.
This is a standard SAP functionality to select Basic dates because SAP consider all master data for scheduling like Schedule margin key.
I think It would help you.

When MRP running, planned order for 54000 PCS is schedule with work scheduling data.
when i schedule planned order (change)
the calculation basic date & schedule date differs for 19 days
cause basic start shift
why is this happend?
is this cause by rounding when transforming minute from routing to days in material master?
is this because i used shift sequence and scheduling with breaks?
some strage case again is
for base qty 1000 processing time is 0.97
for base qty 10000 processing time is 6.93
is there any solution for this case?
please help.

Hi,
Yes. The schedule date is generated considering your factory calender also in addition to the routing data. For eg.. Suppose if Saturday and sunday are holidays, the schedule date will be extended to 2 days.
Pl. check the unit in your routing for the second query.

Error: Not Maintained by Purchasing

We have just set up a new material in our system.
When we try to enter a Purchase order for this material we get the following error message...
"Material XXXXXX not maintained by Purchasing"
What is causing this error and how can I correct it?

IN MM03 transaction enter material and select views tab
You will get many view like below.In that select Purchasing view then select org units .You can see your material maintained for your plant or not.

HR and Personal Work Schedules

Hi Gurus
I am new to BW and I am supporting a new BW installation. I have been on the course BW310 and so understand basic concepts.
The problem is that the BW process chain hangs each day because one of the processes doesnt finish. The error is that a 'Personal Work Schedule for personnel xxxx was not found'. It started with one person but has risen to 3 people. I have been shown the work schedules in R/3 and they are setup correctly (allegedly).
I want to trace the path the data takes from R/3 to BW and the place where it errors. I would like to run the packages/DTPs by hand (not thru process chain) to recreate the error. Can someone tell what to look for in SBIW and the corresponding datasource in BW please.
All help appreciated.

MM305: Material does not exist

Hello Experts,
Although this BW related but i thought this might be the appropriate forum:
I am trying to load data in BW for Purchasing. However, the data loads are failing with the following error message:
You wanted to display or process data on the material 100046399 .
However, the material does not yet exist; that is, it has not yet been
created, or its creation has been scheduled, but the material has not
yet been activated.
I investigated further a found out a Stock transport order in the R/3 system which had a line item for the material 100046399 but the material doesn't actually exists in the MARA (Material master table).
Furthermore, this stock transport order was put on hold but even a hold creates an entry in the Purchasing tables which is why the data gets extracted to BW
So, the question is how can a PO be created with a non-existent material?
Has anyone seen a similar situation? what could be a possible fix for this?

I curerntly have a similar case with a PO having a material that did not exist.
in my system this was caused by incorrect migration process from R2 to R3 11 years back.
The POs were transferred 1:1, but material were only transferred if it did not have a deletion indicator.
(this migration was done by SAP, I dont know what programs they used for this)
I have the situation that I cannot archive the PO because of open GR/IR postings. but I cannot clear GR/IR account with MR11 because I get message that material does not exist.
