Workbench Freezes
If I launch the migration workbench withou the SQLServer2K.jar file in the omwb/plugins directory - I get the missing plugins error message. If I put the file back into the directory - I enter the information (which is valid) and the workbench hangs at the "repository loin" screen.
Suggestions?

It was my understanding (via customer confirmation) that the returned Yield and Scrap located in the Phase tables of the BAPI_PROCORD_GET_DETAIL Bapi are the Planned Operation Yield and Scrap for that operation and not the Yield and Scrap already confirmed. The Help documentation in the BAPI Explorer does not verify this one way or another.
Also, after numerous attempts of trying to pull down the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_GETLIST Request/Response XML, the configuration dialog actually closed. It tooke quite a long time to complete. My guess is that it timed out because when I look at the BAPI structure, there was none.
I did see the other thread prior to my submission but since that thread was referring to a JCO connection and a timeout wasn't actually confirmed on my end, I decided to creat a new one.

Workbench freezes on call to BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GETLIST Request/Response XML
I have created a simple transaction in MII 12.0.6 with three JRA actions: Start Session, Function Call, and End Session. From the configuration dialog of the Function Call action, I confirmed the existance of BAPI_PRODORDCONF_GETLIST via a BAPI search. I attempted to select this BAPI only to have the Workbench freeze up. This BAPI works flawlessly in SE37. I checked the logs and saw that the following error message was thrown:
com.sap.mw.jco.jra.JRA$ResourceException: Couldn't execute interaction. Transaction rolledback due to connection interruption...
I am using the same JRA connection to call BAPIs in other transactions without any issues.
Has someone ran into a similar issue before that could assist me in resolving this?
FYI...my objective is to obtain a list of confirmations, including the confirmation number and confirmation counters, from the output of this BAPI which will be inputted into BAPI_PROCORDCONF_GETDETAIL to maintain a count of the yield and scrap already confirmed for that particular operation/phase.

I have it that the MII workbench will freeze randomly when I open BLS Transactions.
It happens all the time but never on the same transaction. The only way to fix it is to kill the javaw.exe in task manager.

This is happening on the load of the transaction, I've never had it freeze durring execution

Doesn't show anything since it's on load and not on execution. Mii works fine when I call the transactions from the runner or through xacute queries. This only happens in the workbench. -
Hardware requirements for my PC are in line with:
x86 Family, 160 MB RAM and 600 MB free disk space, Windows NT 4.0 OS. I installed the Workbench and captured data from Sybase database successfully.In the source model I can see database and users. When I am in the navigator window to expand the tree to see name of the tables so that I can migrate table data, the console freezes and CPU utilization is 100%.

SumedhaAlthough this is not a reply to the problem you are getting, my Migration Workbench is also freezing. The freezing that I am experiencing is while it is loading the the Source. In addition to this, the SQL Server 6.5 database is not accessible and neither is the Oracle 8i 8.1.5 database. The error I receive when trying to connect to Oracle is "forced disconnect". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,
I'm new to Mac and i wasn't able to find a solution to this yet. Lion is updated, i'm running my sql server workbench and everytime i type single quote or double quote in the INSERT statement the workbench freezes and i have to force quit the application. Language is currently set to US.
Also when i type the quote, the cursor will be highlighted to yellow and i have to press spacebar after.Hi Tom, it worked. Thank you

LiveCycle Workbench ES2 keeps freezing up
I have Adobe LiveCycle Workbench ES2 Version: 9.5.0.0.20100908.1.247189 installed on a 64-bit Windows 7 machine with 8GB of RAM and it has been getting really bad about freezing up. At first, it would just get hung up every once in a while, but now it freezes practically every time that I make a process change. My sole job is using Workbench, so this problem is seriously decreasing my productivity. Does anyone know what the problem may be? When it get non-responsive and I have to force quit the application, I see the following stack trace:

Power Mac G5 Dual 2.5 freezes up, Power Mac G5 Dual 2.5 freezes up

I inherited a Dual 2.5 PPC Power Mac G5 from my sister. She was having problems with it suddenly freezing up. She replaced the hard drive but that didn't fix it, and sicne she had a newer Macbook Pro she gave up on it. When I got it I replaced the video card on it with an ATI Radeon, and it seemed to run fine for a while, and then the problem returned. It seemed to have returned after I did all the Apple software upgrades on it (It's running Leopard), but that might be a coincidence. I noticed under Diagnostics on the power up test that some RAM had failed. I also noticed that it was running on 1 gb of RAM even though 2 gb were installed. I removed the faulty Ram (4 256 mb dimms) and hoped that that was the problem. Unfortunately it wasn't. I also installed a temperture reading program. It showed that CPU A is running around 80 C at times and is usually about 10C hotter than CPU B. I'm not sure though if 80C is normal for a G5 or not. I noticed that when it was unplugged that it wouldn't retain the time and date, and took a look at the battery, and sure enough it was starting to leak (but hadn't leaked on to any components). I've ordered a new bttery for it.
I ran a check with Disk Utility and found the HD was ok, but permissions were a bit messed up. Disk Utility wasn't able to fix some of the permissions, but i don't think this is the underlying problem.
I've also opened it and gave everything a thourough vacuuming and cleaning and reseated any removable parts. I took the cover off the liquid cooling unit and vacuumed out the dust. There didn;t seem to be any coolant leaks I could see.
Any suggestions on where I should go from here? I unfortuantely don't have any of the disks for it, so I can't run the AHT until I find one for it (the one for my Macbook Pro wouldn't work).
Sometimes it just freezes. Other times it freezes and the computer fans go on high. It will finally get to a point where it shows the grey multi-language restart screen (where it says to hold down the button to shut it off and the restart).
It was frustrating because on my workbench it was running fine after I switched the video card, and it didn't freeze at all. When I moved it to our computer desk though, the problems returned. Tonight it was to the point where it didn't last 5 minutes.
My thoughts are:
1. Maybe All the RAM is bad
2. Maybe the dead battery is messing it up?
3. When it is heating up with use, something is expanding and not connecting any longer.

Nope, not normal, way too hot, above 70°C... If you have any temps in the 70°C/160°F range, that's likely it.
Have you blown the dust out of everything with high pressure air?\

The Memory test can really only be trusted if it finds a problem, not if it doesn't find a problem.

Might be time to replace the PRAM Battery, 4 years is close to their lifespan, far less if ever without AC power, & can cause strange startup problems, thoigh not once vooted as a rule...

1.5 sometimes freezes when running statements with F9
I had noticed occasional freezes when hitting F9 with 1.5.0 production (ie three or four times last week), but after upgrading to 1.5.1 today (fresh install, migrated preferences) I have had four or five freezes when hitting F9. The UI completely freezes before showing the progress bar and there is no redraw, but it isn't using any CPU (and CPU is 95%+ idle), nothing appears on the console (started using <SQL Dev Install>\sqldeveloper\bin\sqldeveloper.exe) and if I leave it long enough the memory usage drops from 150K+ to back between 1K to 4K (sometimes quickly, sometimes not).
I am on Win XP SP 2, using SQL Developer 1.5.1.54.40 with JDK 1.6.0_04.
Initially, I upgraded to 1.5.1 from 1.5.0 as a Check for Updates, but tried the clean install (including renaming preferences directory) after the first freeze.
Has anyone else seen this? Can someone from the SQL Dev team provide any help? Is there something else I can do to help narrow this down?
theFurryOneSame thing in very similar circumstances - query with bind variables previously executed, freezes on execute without showing bind variable window. Using no appreciable CPU in this state, but after a minute or so memory usage started to increase in 4 or 8K chunks.
I've also been seeing this intermittently in all builds of 1.5.

Eclipse freezing while opening schema editor for .xsd files
Hi,
I've been trying to solve this problem but it looks like I can't.
Every time I open an .xsd file with the schema editor eclipse freezes and I've to terminate it. I've even tried to install a different version of it, downloading from the site but I had no luck.
I've found googling a couple of similar problems that were resolved by disabling something relate to printers on eclipse startup on command line but that wasn't my case. I guess it's something related to gtk but I'm not completely sure.

my workbench has been giving me an annoying behavior, I wonder if this happens to anybody else and if anyone knows how to fix it:
say, in the Form Design, I want to save my XDPs to my local file system,
so I select a XDP file, the drag&drop into my folder,
it creates the file,
then I repeat the process for each and every XDP forms in workbench.
the problem is,
I can only do it for about half a dozen files before it chokes up.
after I drag/drop a few files, the "drag" action doesn't give me a "+" cursor anymore, and workbench appears to freeze... and there seems to have some "refreshing" of the workbench window going on.
when that happens, I have to wait for a couple of minutes, let it settle itself down, before I can continue the drag+drop operation.
Does this happen to you too? If so, what causes it? and how to fix it?

WORBENCH FREEZING RANDOMLY USING IOTECH Parallel datashuttle
We have been building special pupose torque machines for the oil industry using initially ISA daq modules and later IOTECH DataShuttle modules via the parallel port. Since we changed to Windows XP we have a long term unsolved problem. The workbench experiment simply freezes randomly either after a few minutes or some hours. The worksheet has been unchanged for this application for many years. We tried to alter all settings we could to improve it ie, changing the port settings to advanced and allow any interrupts etc. but no resolution was found.
Is there a better driver (Currently 32.dll) ? Can we change more around on the PC BIOS to accomodate this better ? We would have abandond Dasylab would it not have been for some machines are already delivered and operating with this snag.Hi Alexander,
Thanks for the further information. Given that the DAQ card you are using is a non-NI product, i.e. IOTech's, the driver will either be IOTech's, or DASYLab-specific. As such it is not an NI product supported directly by National Instruments.
Having said this, you will have to contact either IOTech's, or DASYLab's support centres to request assistance.

In my opinion, given that you are operating under a new operating system (XP), I would suggest you contact IOTech first to see if this is a known issue, and if they have a fix.

Tried searching for a bit, but I didn't see anything in this forum that helped. If I missed something, I apologize--please point me in the right direction!
Got out the old beige G3 to play around with the other day. I decided I wanted to attempt to install OSX on it since I've got a zif 1Ghz upgrade sitting around and some extra hard drives.
My tale begins with a fairly stock G3. The original (I'm guessing) 6GB hard drive is an Apple OEM drive, but it has passed on. It had OS 9 on it and was running fine. Since the drive died, I decided to start with a new hard drive and 8.6 since the tower (by the way, it's a Rev. A) came with 8, right? I figured, perhaps wrongly, that the best path to OSX would be by running all the proper updates through OS 9. Sounds like 10.2 is fairly stable for the G3 tower without lots of tweaking, so that's what I was shooting for.
Well, here's what I did to prepare the drive and computer:
Pull extra RAM
Pull personality card (only card installed)
Replace PRAM battery
Set drive and CD-ROM to master
Boot to open firmware (set-defaults, reset-all)
Reset with p-r-opt-cmd dance
Then I booted to the 8.6 install disk. I ran disk setup and initialized the 80GB ATA drive (WD Caviar) with two partitions (7GB and 73GB roughly) since I was planning on working my way up to OSX and have read about the 8GB partition limitation. Just in case I installed the drivers for the disk with drive setup after I initialized it.
Restart, boot to 8.6 install disk. Run the installer, selecting the ~7GB partition. It freezes with four minutes left. That's not good!
I had three RAM modules, so I started from scratch and ran the whole procedure from top to bottom with each module. Same thing.
Tried the OS 9 install disk. At this point, I was a little frustrated. Maybe my install disk was messed up. Nope. OS 9 install freezes with seven minutes left every time.
Is it possible that all three RAM modules are corrupt? This computer has been sitting for quite some time. The PRAM battery was toast, hence the replacement. Oh, and by the way, the only things hooked up are the CD-ROM and hard drive. No ZIP or floppy attached during the installation attempts.
Am I missing something super obvious?

bJon - My goal now is to get this machine back to where it was in the not so distant past. I'd prefer not to start pouring money into it if I'm not sure that it will work. I'll keep that in mind if I do find a solution to my problem, or if I can fairly definitively narrow my problem down to the motherboard.
BDAqua - Thanks. I knew the reset-nvram didn't work on this firmware, and I--probably mistakenly--assumed that doing the p-r-opt-cmd dance took care of that reset. I'll try that in about an hour.
While I'm sitting around, I decided to test one more variable--the CD-ROM drive. Booted to the OS9 disk and initialized my 80GB disk. Then I used Disk Copy to copy the CD to a later partition. I'll install 8.6 until it freezes. Believe it or not, it'll show the flashing disk with question mark, and eventually boot 8.6. This is not so with OS9. If I let that install until it freezes, it won't boot at all. So I'll try to boot up 8.6 with another hard drive attached, and attempt to run the OS9 installer to install on the other hard drive. At this point I'm grasping at straws. I'm not even sure the installer will run if it's not on a CD.
So I'll try the reset after this (probably fails).

Hi, I've been searching everywhere for my problem, and the things I find usually are left unanswered :(
I recently upgraded my old graphics card (GeForce 7300 GT) to the GeForce 220 GT, at that time I was using Windows XP SP3. Everything went fine then, I downloaded the newest driver from nVidia (195.62) and restarted, everything went smoothly.
It was then my computer started to freeze, to the point where I can't do anything (mouse/keyboard unresponsive). I am forced to force reboot. This freezing usually happens randomly when there's nothing to provoke the problem.
So I decided to upgrade to the new Windows 7. I did everything it told me to and everything went very well. But the problem still occurs, but more often, and around 30 minutes after logging in. I got the Windows 7 32 bit version of the new nVidia driver (195.62) and installed it. Did nothing. I have also tried to update windows which also did nothing.

At first I never knew all PSU's were different, and that my new graphics card could handle whatever I had in my system at the moment.
I don't think I will bother checking my PSU if my current PSU is a Okia or a Xion, I may as well upgrade the thing anyway
Just some things I need cleared up though:
Firstly, is it the Corsair VX450W that I would want to buy and install to run my card? Is it affordable?
And secondly, are PSU's hard to install/upgrade? Where can I find a guide/tutorial for this kind of thing? -
Lock-ups/freezes - Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT
Hi all, I have been the owner of a MacBook Pro since August or so. My problem is that when working with my MacBook Pro, occasionally the display freezes up. Sometimes it recovers, sometimes the machine refuse to recover. If I listen to iTunes, I hear the music playing on in the background, which indicates that this is an issue with the graphics chip, and not the computer in general.
I have searched the Internet, and it seems I am not the only one who has issues with the Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT. According to slashdot.org, Apple acknowledges that this may be an issue (http://apple.slashdot.org/apple/08/10/11/1518246.shtml).
Have anyone else experienced these kinds of issues, and if you did, how did you solve them?Hello! I am feeling a little more secure now that there have been quite a few posts about the poor preformance of the nVidia cards in the SR Macbook Pros, its comforting to know this isn't an isolated issue. I've gone as far as contacting Apple to let them know of the poor preformance. They've were, as usual, very nice and as helpful as they are allowed to be. Currently, I have a replacment on the way apparently, my original was deemd DOA I believe. However, it seems at the time all we can do is report our issues to Apple. My main concern is the legnth of time these machines have been out, and the amount of units sold to unknowing customers who are being sold on what Apple is marketing as a strong feature of the machines: the graphics card. When in reality, the card is extraordinary, the preformance in OSX is extremely poor. It is up to us as consumers to let Apple know how aggrivated we are.

Hi All, I have two different segments(VOL1 & VOL2) at same level on source side. Say first segment repeats two times and second segment repeat three times. I need to produce a single queue having combined occurences of these two segments which has f
