Hi Experts,
Is there any document which explains how to fill the workbooks in Sourcing?
I mean from where to find the appropriate values for teh various columns in those sheets like the Class ID etc.

  • Deployment workbooks to use for CLM 7.0 implementation

    Good Afternoon,
The 7.0 configuration guide does refer to using the Enterprise_QuickStart-xCLM.xls
and Sourcing_Company_QuickStart-xCLM.xls.  However, this workbook in the reference Guide is for build version version 5.2.00 build 08-Dec-2007.19:30.
The on demand deployment book ( Enterprise_OD_CLM_PUBLIC) is for the current build 7.0.01.09 build 71278:2011-07-20.
Should the ondemand workbook be used for an on-premise install since the buid is correct?
    Thanks,
    Kyle

    Hi Kyle
Once I encountered a similar issue when we were implementing SAP Sourcing 5.1 SP05 and the workbooks were for version SP02. Most of the fields in the worksheets were same but I remember facing an issue related to some fields. To overcome that I had to re-import those specific worksheets from SP05 workbooks later.
My suggestion would also be to wait for SAP OSS reply as they would provide you with the latest workbooks that are applicable to your SAP Sourcing/CLM version.
    Thanks
    Ajay

  • Mobile support for Sourcing/CLM 10

    Dear Colleagues,
I have a question about mobile support for SAP Sourcing/CLM version 10. Is there any dedicated mobile application which will have workflow approving for example?
The only information which I found at SCN about mobile devices within SAP Sourcing/CLM 10 is:
"(...) This enhancement was made in preparation for potential mobile applications that will be integrated with SAP Sourcing / SAP CLM."
If you have any further information, please share.
    Thanks in advance,
    Przemyslaw

    Hello,
The short answer for the first question is no.  However, there is more to say on the subject...
Support for mobile approvals are in the Sourcing/CLM product
backlog.  We also have this feature candidate in our internal and customer
surveys on feature candidates for our next release (11.0).  The surveys
were just completed.   We will soon begin the process of identifying
features to include in our plans for Release 11.0.  At this time, nothing
has been decided regarding what new features will be in Release 11.0.
    Regards,
    Gary

  • E-Sourcing/CLM - next versions?

    Hi
We concider to implement the E-sourcing/CLM solution.
But I can see that the mainstream maintenance of the current versions (e-sourcing 5.1/CLM 2.0) ends in 2012.
Therefor we would rather wait for the next version if it is released soon.
I can see that e-sourcing 6/CLM 3 is available as a hosted solution.
Will the not-hosted solutions be GA soon?
    Best regards
    Lars

    Hi,
u2026Whatu2019s the change from SAPu2019s latest on the product line?
    -          Current version of SAP E-Sourcing is 5.1
    -          E-Sourcing 6.0 will be made available as "On-Demand" multi-tenant solution.  For the customers who are interested in "Single Tenant Hosted" deployment option, we will be also offering "On-Demand Private
Edition" of E-Sourcing 6.0 at the same time, November 26, 2009. Customers who are interested in the "On-Premise" deployment will need to wait for the next release, E-Sourcing 7.0, currently scheduled for
    August 2010.
So what is the suggested way forward if you want to upgrade from E-sourcing 5.1(on premise) to E-Sourcing 6.0?
And what is the suggested way for customers who want to have new E-Sourcing 6.0 on premise installed? Is it not an option or wait till Aug 2010?
This is what SAP has to say
SAP have made strategic decision not to make the "On-Premise" deployment option available for every "On-Demand" release.
    - In order to introduce new features faster, SAP will be focusing on "On-Demand" solution with a new release in every six months. (New OD releases scheduled for Q2 2010, Q4 2010, Q2 2011, Q4 2011, etc..)
    - On-Premise customers typically do not upgrade every six months.  When SAP delivers an "On-Premise" release, it will be a cumulative release that includes all new features delivered in the all prior "On-Demand" releases.  So, SAP will continue to provide new features to "On-Premise" customers and will continue to provide a reasonable migration path for all On-Premise customers.   However, it won't be as frequent as "On-Demand" releases and the "On-Premise" release will be synchronized with the SAP Business Suite release cycle.
Next "On-Premise" release (E-Sourcing 7.0) is currently scheduled for August 2010.
    Hope this helps

  • Mass upload of clauses in SAP Sourcing

    Dear All,
Please let me know if we can do a mass uplod of clauses in SAP sourcing like we can do for the contract documents.
Requirement is customer wants to uplaod many number of clauses in clause library.
    Thanks,
    Vinay

    Hi,
I havent done this myself and there is no such workbook for performing this function. There is however a template.csv available which can be used for mass uploading Clauses. Here is how you can retreive it:
Goto Setup > Import Data > Create> In the Upload Import File, select any sample .csv for upload in the picker field. Then in the Object type field select Clause. Make sure you check the Preview Import checkbox. After clicking next, you can see the template.csv available there.
Once you download the CSV to your local machine, you can see the fields available there are fill out with a few Clauses to see if this works for you. The process for importing the CSV will remain the same as for any other template. The only caveat I see is that sometimes users try and fix the Content options with a word document and that may not be achievable via this option.
    Hope this helps,
    Vikram

  • Sourcing/CLM 7 /IE 8: E-Sourcing cannot display this page.

    Good Afternoon,
We are experiencing the following issue when logging out of Sourcing/CLM:
    1) Log out
    2) Try to log back in and recieve the following page:
    E-Sourcing cannot display this page.
Click the browser back button to the previous page.
I can get by this by closing the browser and opening up a new session.   I'm wondering if this is a common issue or possibly an IE or sourcing setting that's causing this.
FYI- This is consistant behavior for system, enterprise and buyside/sellside user accounts.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Create SAP Source System Failed

    Hi all,
We are using NetWeaver 2004s BI and try to connect to ECC 5.0. I tried to create SAP source system but got error message saying "RFC user logon failed". When I check RFC destination in ECC 5.0 for BI, the test connection is ok, but the remote logon will pop up another logon screen asking for id and password. I am pretty sure that the id and password in RFC destination is correct. The RFC destination in BI is ok. Can you help me out with this? Thanks a lot in advance.

    Hi,
Check the Default Logon <b>Client</b> for ECC 5.0
and verifiy that the User is in the Same Client
Each RFC destination has a mapped user for specific Client..Check the Client and User in the same client

  • Data Reconciliation Node on SAP Source System

    Hi Gurus,
I'm working on Data Reconciliation between SAP BI and SAP R3 systems.  I've read on the forum that the reconciliation DataSource technology is available as of PI-BASIS 2005.1 / SAP NetWeaver 2004s.  I'm using
SW Comp     Release             Level     Highest Support     Desc
    PI_BASIS      2005_1_640      0017      SAPKIPYJ6H         Basis Plug-In (PI_BASIS) 2005_1_640
I wonder that I cannot see the Data Reconciliation Node in the transaction RSA6 in the SAP Source System.  Please throw some light on this whether I need to activate them.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ash.

    Hi Sunny,
Thanks for your response.  Can you suggest me what should I do to get those DataSources?  Are there any patches that SAP has released to overcome this problem for lower versions as the one which I'm using?
    Thanks,
    Ash.

  • SAP Sourcing 7.0 integration with SAP ERP - issue with SAP PI

    Hi All,
We are integrating SAP Sourcing 7.0 with SAP ERP 6.0 with SAP PI 7.1 in middle. So the Sourcing will talk to PI and this intern will talk to ERP. Sourcing is on oracle 11g where as PI and ERP are on SQL 2008. All these 3 are on windows 2003 x64.
We are following the "Configuration Guide Integration of SAP ERP and SAP Sourcing 7.0" provided by SAP.
We have successfully configured Sourcing and PI systems as pe the document. In Sourcing, by using background jobs we are able to successfully generate files in "export" folder which is part of FTP directory.
However the issue is with PI, we configured the "configuration scenerio" in Integration builder and point all channels to the FTP folder in Sourcing. But PI is not picking up these files.
Is there any way to trigger this in PI system. Or do we need to do anything in sourcing itself.
    Regards,
    Siva.

    Hello Siva,
I am thinking that you may need to deploy FTP adapter in PI to get this process work fine but not sure.
Let's see what other experts suggest.

  • Error when activate a SAP source system

    Hello Experts,
I have an issue when I try to create a new SAP source system but I cannot complete this operation because a Timeout error occurs when the system made the destiny verification, the source system can be created but not activated, I already create the RFC connection and they are OK, I add the new logical system of the source system in the configuration (SBIW) in the general settings, and the data source tree is show succesfully and sems to work OK and the data sources seems to be OK too.
In the RSA1 transaction, go to source systems tree, choose the SAP source system called: "conexion a dev 200" -> right click and choose activate and the error occurs.
I have a Myself source system already created and activated, I cannot find the source of the problems thata cause the timeout error in the new source system.
Thank you vey much in advance,
    Niurka

Yes, I try ti use the create automatically option first but it doesn't work, because says that we system already exists because here exist a myself source system with an RFC to R/# ( I don't know why), so I must use the manually creation option, I put the logical system, and all the requeriments of the screem. The system create the source system but when I try ti activate it, it is impossible to do it....!
I hope that you can give some tips or solution for this issue,
    Thanks!

  • SAP Source System showing up as BI Source System in RSA1

I have 2 BW systems and 2 CRM Systems.  In one BW system, when I create a SAP Source system in RSA1, It gets listed as a SAP Sources system along with ECC and all the rest.
The Logicial Systems and RFC Connections all appear to be the same between each pair.
In the other system, using identical procedure, it the source system gets listed as a BI Source System.  The 2 CRM systems have identical components and version levels as do the 2 BW systems.
Any idea why and if this would make any difference and how to correct.

    Hi,
To fix this, you need to do a restore (& not a delete) of the source system in BW, having deleted the RSBASIDOC entry in the source OLTP system.
This will force the BW system to interrogate the RSBASIDOC table entry in the source system again and it should then realise that it is an R/3 system (not a BW system) and move the entry to the SAP folder.
