Worked for 2 hrs. then black screen and nothing but lights in front and back lit
Bought this a year ago and put in closet till Saturday so I install it and it works great then 2 hrs. later I come in and screen is black. I press button on mouse nothing I press buttons on keyboard nothing. I press power button to turn off the computer wait 1 min turn on lights light makes some noise but nothing. monitor is good because I tried my old one which I am using now. When it is connected to the computer it says no signal.

Can someone please help with my issue listed - My ipod 4G wont go past the apple logo when I turn it on - it will stay on the apple logo for few min, then blanks out and back to the apple logo. Tried reset option/troubleshoot several times. Also wont show up on computer at all when I plug in to USB.
Any tips are very much appreciated.Place the iPod Touch into DFU mode. This will be similar to what the factory would do to install the iOS onto new iOS devices.
Placing it into DFU mode will allow you to "format" and install the current iOS for that device.
To place your iOS device into DFU mode.
First connect you iOS device to you computer.
Open iTunes if not already open
Now turn off your iOS device using the power swipe.
Press the home and sleep button on your iOS device for 10 seconds.
Release the sleep button but carry on holding down the home button. For another 10 seconds.
Your iOS device should now be on DFU. Click on restore and iTunes will download the latest iOS for your device.
Hopefully that sorts it if not, you will have to go to a service centre or call Apple Care up and get them to collect it and repair it. (replace it) Or go into an Apple Store. -
I searching my Facebook account when apple logo showed up then blue death scree then black screen after all white and black stripped screen . It happened for a few times the the phone went off and didn't work ever since . What was that ?
And how can it be solved ?Back up and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file, or maybe it's one of your apps causing the trouble. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.
For the charging problem:
Inspect the charging port area for dirt/debris/fluff build-up that may be preventing a good connection and use a wooden toothpick, soft clean toothbrush, or a can of compressed air to clean it. Also look for bent or broken pins. Try another cable and/or charger block (be sure to always use a genuine Apple certified brand) in a known good outlet. If you're using a USB port, try another port. If you're using a hub, try a direct connection. If you're using a USB port in the front of a desktop computer, try one in the back. If all these fail, make an appointment at your nearest Genius Bar to have the device evaluated. -

Just purchased Airport Extreme ac and lost internet connection 3X in less than one week. Fisrt time, reset to factory settings and fixed problem. Has occurred 2 additional times and connection re-established by unplugging AP extreme. Anyone else having these problems? Do I have a bad router? Thanks.
I definitely think this is a Mavericks issue. My iMac running Mavericks is the ONLY system in the house that drops the network randomly while all other systems never lose the network. No idea how to resolve this, but here is the workaround I'm posting:
I've had the 'network drop' issue with my Airport Extreme for the last 2 months. It reconnects when I pull the ethernet cable and plug it back in. I've tried downgrading the AE firmware, resetting to factory, etc. Nothing worked. I finally threw in the towel and created a script that monitors my network connectivity and restarts my interface if it senses it has dropped:

screen locked up and shows the battery with low red and ligtning bolt and cannot hard shut down or reset just stays there for a few seconds then black screen. hooked up to computer and itunes doesnt recognize it or even shows that it is pluged in. looked and made sure nothing is broken or metal in ligting port or on cable which would prevent it from accepting a charge. ipod is only a month old and seems like a waste of money if its so hard to try to get an explanation of why this is ive been tryning to get an answer from apple for a week now.

I have no idea what my pocket has apparently downloaded today while I was at work but I now can't here any tones on my iPhone 4...has this happened to anyone ive tried restarting it and it worked for a second then a thing popped up on my screen and nothing again
Ok mate no need to talk to me like im a complete idiot, and no it is not on silent im not that stupid. There is a message pop up on my screen saying 'this accessory is not optimized for this iPhone' and underneith 'you may experience noise caused by cellular interference and a decrease in cellular signal strength' and under that only one option to press which says dismiss. I cant find anything in my settings or applications and have tried resetting my phone 3 times and still nothing only plays ringtones ever now and then wont play music from ipod, youtube or other applications.

Did anything happen to prior to your phone acting this way? It sounds like your screen is dead, but it is hard to say without knowing what what the cause.
1) was this a gradual problem? Did the phone screen start dimming a couple months ago and now has degraded or after some event (known or unknown to you), the phone started behaving this way.
2) Can you give more specifics on the problem? You said you have a black screen, but also you can see what you're doing on screen. Is the screen just really dim? Is the screen completely black? Does anything else besides attempting to reset the device cause it to flash white? -
My ipad 2 is wont turn on. I held the sleep/wake button down for 15 seconds and the battery image shows up for a second then the screen goes blank. Help!

My Time Capsule backups disappeared (blank black screens) and in trying to set it up again I now find that when TC is plugged in and on (green light) it cancels out wifi reception from my router. I am only using TC as a backup not for wifi. Can anybody help?
Sorry, you have lost me since it appears that you have two completely separate issues here.
All that I can suggest is you start over and try to set up the Time Capsule again first...and then, once that is done and the Time Capsule is working correctly on the network....then, try to troubleshoot the separate Time Machine issue.
If you decide that you want to do this, we'll need some basic information:
Make and model number of your modem?
You are using OS X Mavericks (10.9.3), correct? -
