Worker role not accepting connections

I have created a workerrole project in Visual Studio and deployed it to Azure. RDP is enabled.
FIrst few times I could use RDP to connect. Now it will no longer let me connect, it hangs at initiating remote connection.
Have restarted the worker role, complete removed the solution and reinstalled but no luck.
Any ideas???

Hi,
Please try to increase/decrease the worker role instance number in azure manage portal cloud service SCALE tab , or reset the REMOTE (at the bottom of the azure portal cloud service CONFIGURE tab) information, give further information here
if the issue is still exist.
Best Regards,
Jambor

  • Vnc, ssh ports intermittently not accepting connections since upgrading to 10.10.1

Since upgrading I cannot remote access my mac book air 2014. Prior to the upgrade I did not have any issues. I have not changed any networking / firewall settings.
Sometimes it works, other times the vnc and ssh ports do not accept connections.
Running nmap on another host on the local LAN reports all ports as being filtered.
Other times, nmap shows 22, 5900, and the AFP port open, as expected.
I know there have been reports of wi-fi issues, and this machine is using wi-fi.
Is it possible that when the screen blanks after a period of the machine not being used, that the wi-fi connection is going into a power down mode?
I don't see the ports being filtered when I am using the machine, it's only after I've left the house and I try to remotely connect.

On looking at the secure.log on the iMac with OSX10.6.8, I see these entries at each attempt to scp into the iMac:

  • VPN "Host" not accepting connection

I don't like to cross-post, but hopeful someone in this forum can have a look at:  http://windowssecrets.com/forums/showthread.php/160395-VPN-quot-Host-quot-not-accepting-connection in the Windows Secrets Lounge.  (Don't forget to click on the

I should probably point out that this is my FIRST attempt to set up a VPN, so I've been sort of "feeling" my way along.
    Thanks,
    Bill

    Hi,
How did you setup the VPN connection? make sure the VPN server is configured to allow these incoming connections, and check the routing and remoting service is running, then you can set up to connect to the VPN server.
And other causes of the error 807 could be that the VPN server is currently overloaded or when you have a poor network connection, so I suggest you stop bandwidth-consuming applications to make sure that the network connection is fine.
Here is a good video, would like to share it with you to better understand VPN setup

  • I changed my provider in the icloudwindow appears the old apple id. with the new apple id, which is working, will not accept. what i have to do?

hi, i changed my provider in the icloudwindow appears the old apple id. with the new apple id, which is working, will not accept. what i have to do?

    Actually you always use ethernet..
MBA does not come with ethernet port.. but apple sells both a cheap usb to ethernet and a much more expensive and much faster thunderbolt to ethernet adapter. With ethernet to eliminite this silly situation of setting up wireless over wireless, so if you make any change you instantly drops you off the network. Like cartoons of people sawing off the branch they are sitting on.
But you can reset.. no reset will do anything at all to the material on the hard disk. You must deliberately erase it.
Read the info because you may only need to do a soft reset. That is hold the reset for 1sec (2-3sec is fine)  as long as you don't hold it for a full reset.
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3728
Even a full factory reset will not harm your files in any way, (or any further!!)
I am "concerned" that you have no backup to vital files on your TC. That is not wise. TC are no more immune to failure than any other hard disk.. (actually latest ones use the cheapest green WD drives money can buy) and keeping files in only one location is a receipe for disaster. An external drive is much more accessible.. cheaper and tend to be more reliable. There are too many things to break in the TC.. it is designed as a backup target for TM. Not a file store.

  • Mail gateway not accepting connections on port 25

My "beautiful" mail gateway does not accept Telnet connections to port 25.
    Not from another machine
    Not even from it self.
    telnet gwipaddress 25
telnet: connect to address "gwIP": Connection refused
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host
Which variable in main.cf would be responsible for this?
    Postfix is running.
All the machines involved are defined in mynetworks on the mailgateway as ipaddress/32
Or is this a deeper issue?
    Any ideas?
Or is this a job for postconf -n?
    TIA
    Hans

I think I have found the cause.
inet_interfaces was set to "local" rather than "all"
I wonder why this causes such a problem...
Let me make a test and I'll be back in a while.
I found an old reply from some genious on the list
"I just spotted something else I missed before. (Well it's late here
    edit /etc/postfix/main.cf and change:
    inet_interfaces = localhost
    to
    inet_interfaces = all
    and issue:
    sudo postfix reload"
    Look familiar?

  • VPN Server in Snow Leopard Server not accepting connections

I've got some issues with a new Snow Leopard Server, running on a Mac mini Server, and VPN.
I have a Linksys WRT310N performing router duties. I have enabled the VPN Passthrough in the router's configuration pages (IPSec, PPTP and L2TP all Enabled). In the Applications and Gaming section, I have enabled ports 1723 (TCP and UDP) and 1701 (TCP and UDP) to go through to the mini Server. In order to have the VPN Passthrough enabled, I have to have the SPI Firewall enabled on the router.
I have both PPTP and L2TP enabled on the Server. When I first tested it, everything worked.
Within 24 hours, it stopped working, and I can't work out why.
On the Server, I can see in the logs the following messages: (server name and IPs changed to protect the guilty)

  • SA 520 does not accept connections

Recently I got a SA520 for my company, and after fiddling with some of the settings, the unit does not allow any connections via the LAN. When I plug a cat5 cable directly from the computer to the SA520, after ~45seconds of trying to get an IP address, Windows says it has a limited connectivity, then that the network cable has been unplugged. I have tried reseting the SA520 by holding the reset button for 20 seconds, but that does not work. As of now, I have to way to access the unit. Any ideas?

Try holding in the reset button for 30 seconds or more... Then the default IP address is 192.168.75.1.

  • RDP Services do not accept connection after cluster failover

    Hi guys,
i am having weird behaviour on my Windows Server 2012 R2.
    server 1
    - 10.100.1.201
    server 2   - 10.100.1.203
    VIP - 10.100.1.202
when i perform remote desktop session to server 1 and server 2 after both servers are being rebooted, they are working perfectly fine. during the remote desktop session, i perform a cluster node failover switching node to server 2. immediately i perform
the task, my server 1 connection will hang and not able to login anymore.
strangely, when i am connection from the same server zone and perform remote desktop, they work perfectly fine and will not disconnect me from neither of the server 1 and 2.
i am suspecting the network routing mess up during the cluster failover, but from the route print, there are identical and has no problem with it.
any one here has the same problem i experience?

    Hi,
sorry if i lose you ... here is the story
    node 1 - 10.100.1.201
    node 2 - 10.100.1.203
    vip - 10.100.1.202
when both server restarted, i can remote to both servers, no problem.
    1. RDP to both node 1 and 2 together on their physical IP. Connected successfully.
    2. checked the Active node on node 1. Perform fail over from node 1 to 2, node 1 RDP session loss connection immediately. checked on node 2, cluster node active on node 2. no errors.
    3. perform node 2 to node 1 fail over. Node 2 RDP session loss connection immediately, node 1 session came back. checked cluster node active on node 1. no errors.
    4. in order to have both can continue to rdp, perform restart on node 2 (the node cannot reconnect), after reboot, rdp back to normal.
    5. firewall team confirm connection has reach server, server not responding to rdp apparently.

  • Tor not accepting connection

Today my tor did not work
The Browser is busy for some seconds, then tells me that the remote server needs too long to send an answer.
Disabling the proxy (I tried privoxy and polipo) changes that the browser immediately shows connection reset.
When the proxy is running but disabled in the browser directing the browser to localhost:8118 brings the proxy page so it is up and running.
Connecting to tor through the browser does work, it then says it's not a http proxy - right.
Even torifying directly does not work
    [chris@chriseee ~]$ torify telnet google.de 80
    Trying 209.85.229.104...
    19:01:54 libtsocks(2312): SOCKS V4 connect rejected:
19:01:54 libtsocks(2312): SOCKS server refused connection
telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection refused
I removed tor with all config files and installed it again - same behaviour.
    Any tips?
edit: It only does not work on my eee, on my mainpc tor + privoxy work.

    I installed tor-git from aur: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=28678
and because tor said tsocks leaks DNS data I installed torsocks-git as well: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=30082
Now it works again without some security hole from old ssl.

  • Wireless router works - Airport not allowing connection

I am unable to connect to the internet wirelessly using Airport. I have not changed any settings on the modem, nor on my MBP, however, I am now unable to connect wirelessly.
Airport, when not connected using the ethernet shows full signal - I then try to open a webpage (using Safari) and the connection drops out immediately/ it will remain connected but Safari will tell me I'm not connected.
I have searched extensively on this, and found some possible resolutions - resetting the SMC; removing, then adding the Airport connection/ the previous network connection; restarting the router/the MBP - I have tried everything and nothing seems to be working.
I do recall having had this problem a while ago and it just sorted itself out after much frustration.
Does anyone have an actual solution to this problem - perhaps Apple have made themselves aware of the problem and come up with an actual diagnosis and subsequent solution....
    Help please.....

Erm, what do you mean by 'power cycle'?
I have tried restarting everything, and still getting the same problem.
When I first turn my MBP on it registers a full internet connection wirelessly, but then when I load up Safari it says 'no internet connection available'.
    This is tres frustrating.

  • UC560 Not Accepting Connections

We have a UC560 here that's been running pretty rock solid for about 2 years..  just recently another site (that also has a UC560) started having issues with Intra-Office dialing with this site (via VPN).   I went to SSH into the UC560 and it was refusing my connections.. yet all the phones in the office were up and fine, and people were even making calls.   I waited for the calls to end, rebooted the UC560 and everything was back to normal.. or so I thought..  2 days later, same thing started happening.  I rebooted again, fixed it for a day or two.. now its occuring AGAIN.
Nothing has changed on the network, I've verfied its not a switching issue, I'm only using one port on the UC560, its not our gateway/router.. just a phone server.
Sometimes I can SSH in and do a show run and make it about 12-14 lines in then it boots me out.   CCA won't work, etc...
If the phones were rebooting/having issues I'd suspect it was clearly a hardware issue on the port, but the local phones seem to be fine, just intra-office dialing, ssh and cca..
I just updated it to the latest UC560 Software Pack a few days ago to see if that would resolve it, it didn't.
Has anyone seen anything like this?

    Hello Marcus,
You may try to connect with the console cable to the UC and check the setting for the VTY lines, their timeout also.
How you are connecting to the UC (Localy or remotely)? Have you tried Telnet?
    HTH,
    Alex

  • Problem with my iPod touch: Frozen screen, unable to access anything as slider does not work, will not accept a full restore.  Apple Store advised that it is a 'hardware' problem and I could trade-in!

I am a relatively 'new' user.  Touch was a gift, I used it in a simplistic way - listened to music took a few photos, added a few calendar events.  After a year I then decided to be more proactive and found a few free apps (Solitaire) - then had a the frozen screen problem which I though was connected to low battery, but it wasn't.  I recharged it, still could not access, then tried a full restore and got an error message.  Took it to a Genius Bar and was told it was a hardware problem and as it is out of warranty  I could trade in or just buy a different product.  As this is my first Apple product is this usual?  Do Apple products have a very short shelf life - I anticipated that it would last me longer than a year!  Has anyone else had this problem?  Was it able to be resolved? Or is it worth trying to get it repaired - and if so who can do it - Apple  Store did not offer that to me as an option?

Sure sounds like a hardware problem. It happens some times. The iPod is just an electrical device.
Apple will exchange it for a refurbished one for this price. Apple does not repair your iPod.

  • Directory Proxy not accepting connections

    Hi,
We are having issues with our Directory Proxy servers 6.3. We recently moved an application that makes a lot of searches to the proxy and we started getting the error below. This causes all bind to fail when we start getting this error. Does anybody have this issue or idea what could be causing it?

Does anyone have an answer for this? We are seeing the same error.
