Workflow 0BPM_LOGHIST dataload. Is it even possible?

Hi guys,
Has anyone successfully load workflow in BI? The problem is that the workflow tabels like SWWLOGHIST in r/3 almost hit 30mil records and initializing the load sequence for workflow causes Oracle to crash due to the amount of archive logging is used.
AFAIK the sequence should be started with the 0BPM_LOGHIST datasource which filles the BPMWITSTP table.
The timestamps in this table are used to determine the workflow id which should be updated by the delta.
I already hacked the 0BPM_LOGHIST datasource because SAP was so kindly to disable the RSA2 edit function which is needed to enable WF_ID selection option. the given selection on timestamp cant be used. so there was little choice.
See note 123262: "Caution: Depending on the release, you must also manually adjust the information structure 0BPM_LOGHIST using transaction RSA2. When you do this, you must define the field WI_ID for the selection criterion by checking the relevant checkbox." Very funny only works for SAP not CUSTOMERS systems.
Anyways workflow is alreay in use for couple of year resulting in a quiet amount of data and even with a selection on a small range of workflow ids. Apparently the 0BPM_LOGHIST datasource create a awful lot of changes causing the oracle archive log the explode. Using up 25GB of archive space in r/3 in less than 45min and only offering 102K records to BW doesn't work.
This killed our Q&A machine twice since ORA is quiet fond of it's archivelog space to be available.
So is there anyway to load existing WF data into BW without killing the database?
and no it;s not an option to disable the archive logging. Maybe on the Q&A but def NOT on the PROD machine.
Extending the archivelog space..... Well yes but archivelogs have to be saved at some point in time and if 25GB gets used in 45min and I have to load so much I guess adding a 5 TB SAN could handle it but that would blow our budget quiet a bit :P

Received this error (The workflow could not update the item, possibly because one or more columns for the item require a different type of information.) recently on a workflow that was
working fine and no changes were made to the workflow.
I have tried a few suggestions, i.e. adding a pause before any ‘Update’ action (which didn’t help because the workflow past this action without incident); checked the data type being written
to the fields (the correct data types are being written); and we even checked the list schema to ensure the list names and the internal names are aligned (they
are), but we still cannot figure out why the workflow is still throwing this error.
We located the area within the workflow step where it is failing and we inserted a logging action to determine if the workflow would execute the logging action but it did not, but wrote the same error message.
The workflow is a Reusable Approval workflow designed in SharePoint Designer 2010 and attached to a content type.
The form associated with the list was modified in InfoPath 2010.
Approvers would provide their approval in the InfoPath form which is then read by the workflow.
Side note - items created after the workflow throws this Unknown Error some seem to be working fine.
We have deleted the item in question and re-added it with no effect.
Based on what we were able to determine there don’t seem to be any consistency with how this issue is behaving.
Any suggestions on how to further investigate this issue in order to find the root cause would be greatly appreciated?

I understand that the reusable workflow doesn’t work properly now. Have you tried to remove the Update list item action to see whether the workflow can run without issue?
If the workflow runs perfectly when the Update list item action is removed, then you need to check whether there are errors in the update action. Check whether the values have been changed.

Our SPF 2010 server is relatively small to many setups I am sure. The list with the issue only has 4456 items and there are a few associated lists, eg lookups, Tasks, etc see below for count.
Site Lists
Engagements = 4456 (Errors on this list, primary list for activity)
Tasks = 7711 (All workflow tasks from all site lists)
Clients = 4396 (Lookup from Engagements, Tslips, etc)
Workflow History = 584930 (I periodically run a cleanup on this and try to keep it under 400k)
Tslips = 3522 (Engagements list can create items here, but overall not much interaction between lists)
A few other lists that are used by workflows to lookup associations that are fairly static and under 50 items, eg "Parters Admin" used to lookup a partners executive admin to assign a task.

On December 12th, 2012 I ordered (purchased) by mail an official copy of the boxed Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 software from B&H Photo (New York, NY). I installed it successfully without any problem on my then computer. I have enjoyed using the program since then, it’s great. This past week, however, that same computer died and I was force to buy a new computer (Windows 8.1).
To my big surprise, the Elements disk wouldn’t load off my DVD drive. The drive just kept “clicking” for 20 minutes. After trying several times from reboot, for an hour and a half, I then tried installing it on my laptop, just to see if my drive was faulty. No, it wasn’t. It too immediately went into an endless “clicking” routine trying to read the disk. And for one last try, I put it in my sister’s laptop and she got the very same result - endless “clicking”, no install. No computer could read the disk!!!
How is this even possible from a commercially made disk I used only once in 2012! The disk is meticulously clean, unscratched, unscuffed, put away in its original box and stored on my shelf in a cool place away from the sun!

Is there anything you can do about this as I see no reason why I should be forced to spend over a $130 (in Canada) to replace a disk that worked only once!

How is this even possible? Folders out of sync. Backlog command says in sync.

Two 2008 R2 servers. Been running DFS-R for about a year now. Generally no problems.
If I run the DFSRdiag backlog command on either server, for one particular folder, it says there is no backlog. The only problem with that is; on one server there are 11 files in that folder, on the other server, in the same folder, there are

Is This Even Possible? eDirectory syncing passwords with external RADIUS servers.

We are currently have a solution that allows us to use a campus RADIUS
server as the authentication mechanism for accessing the Internet. We want
to integrate this so users can authenticate with their campus IDs but gain
access to the Novell server (home directory and printing) using the same
information.
Is this even possible?
So, essentially, we would like the external RADIUS' user/password data to
be synced with the eDirectory data, but have the eDirectory receive updates
from the RADIUS (or LDAP, Kerberos or whatever system is necessary). Or is
an all-Novell solution the only possible way to use RADIUS authentication?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

As jim said, you can use idm to do this, but another option for you
might be to use somthing like freeradius and point it back to
edirectory as its authentication source.

1. Change individual contacts to a foreign language with custom keyboard (If I have a Russian friend, modify the contact to where all information can be in Russian and texts to person will auto be in Russian, and another all English or all French, on and on)
2. Group contacts together and turn on do not disturb programmatically (I choose 10 of my 30 contacts in a designed app and turn on do not disturb for just the 10)
3. Modify any information in the contact listing a hyperlink, example make the e-mail address link to a webpage rather than a e-mail.
4. Change color of text to or change fonts on individual contacts.
I know Swift is said to allow more modification for individual contacts, is Swift the way to go if any of these are possible.

1) I am not completely sure but I would say this is unlikely. You definitely can have contact information in different languages. However, I don't think that you can "set" an auto language whenever you communicate with that person. You would have to manually switch your keyboard to that language every time.
2) You could add all contacts that you do want to be "disturbed by" to your favorites. Then turn on do not disturb and chose allow favorites. However, this would cause you to have a lot of favorites and always be in do not disturb. Unfortunately, this is the most efficient way as of now.
3) Yes, there is actually a spot in contacts for a URL. This would be easier than putting it in the email section. This is fairly easy to set up.
4) You cannot change the font or color of really any text in standard Apple Apps currently. This is obviously available if you jailbreak, but you seem to not want to do that, which I respect. So you cannot do this one at all right now.

Have you been syncing the iPod with iTunes? Then you just connect the iPad and set it up through iTunes and sync any content you want onto it.

In terms of games/apps. If they are not universal (you will see a + symbol next to them) or made for iPad (you would see an HD in the name, usually) then they won't look good on an iPad as those apps will open in a iPod sized window, giving you the option to enlarge.

I'm not sure what the weird button you mention is. You mean the gear button?
In any event, and as you've found out, the answer is yes. Create a custom setting – either by duplicating a preset, or using the plus button in the settings pane. Depending on the format, the available adjustments will be different they're accessible from the Inspector.

No problem at all. Plug in your flashdrive. Connect your iPhone. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the drive with your phone's name - it will be the last one. Double click, open the DCIM folder, your pix are in the sub-folders. You can either copy the entire folders (drag & drop to the flash drive) or open each folder and select the pix you want.
