Workflow Agents just need to be informed not a workitem

Question

Hi All,
In my workflow, I have different agents which should be informed.
ex. user1,user2 etc. I want that user1 should get it as workitem in his Inbox but not user2.user2 should get it as just notification.
I have done agent assignment and added both the users
is there any way that i can just inform user2 just like CC or FYI.
not workitem.
Please let me know about this.

Hi Lakshimi,
to have additional objects appear on the right hand side of the workitem description (i.e. where the leading object, here: BUS2104, is placed) one of the following condition has to apply:
- It is a business object instance and member of the internal container element ADHOCOBJECTS
- It is a business object instance and was passed in the dataflow as an importing element of the workitem instance
- It is a SAP Office document and is member of the internal container element ATTACHOBJECTS
Two provide an executable URL hyperlink to the user you can solve this in at least two ways:
- Create (in background) a SAP office document of the type .URL and put the URL that you need to be executed as the file content. Name the URL like "Attached document.URL". The frontend will execute the .URL document using the standard browser in a new windows. There are other threads here in this forum or the ABAP-Forum that explain how to create a SAP office document.
- Create a business object instance of the self-made object ZURL (there is no in the R/3 standard) and provide a default methode e.g. DISPLAY that open a URL on the frontend (e.g. by downloading a .url-file and execute that file on the frontend). The business object may have the url as it's key, but then is limited to something like 40 characters (not counting e.g. http://document-site.com/ , which could be taken as a constant element from somewhere else). If the variable part of the URL is longer than 40 characters, you'll need a translation table to do this.
