I have cloned a instance a couple of weeks ago. Everything was working. Today a User reported workflow all down including Notification Mailers, Agent Listeners and Service Components. We have not make any changes. Please tell me the steps to start them, which one first, next...

Workflow For Down-Payment Request

Hi,
Would like to know if there is a standard workflow associated with a down-payment request when a payment is posted on a customer account against this (down-payment request).
I would also appreciate if a detailed procedure on how a workflow can be traced for such scenarios can be provided.

I can't answer your question with certainty, but I can give you a tip about how to search for the answer in SAP.
I am not quite sure which application component that would be in. I suppose it is somewhere in FI-AR, perhaps FI-AR-AR-MP-PA.
You can use transaction SWDM to find all standard single and multistep tasks. On of the very useful search options is application component. Remember, sometimes a solution is used for several components in an area, so I recommend searching upwards in the hierarchy if you don't find it in the specific component.
E.g. search in FI-AR-AR-MP-PA, then in FI-AR-AR-MP, then in FI-AR-AR and so on.
You can also use SE81, where you can select entire areas or a combination of subareas and search in those. However, for workflow SWDM is probably just as easy.

Oracle Workflow is Down in R12.1.3

I'm facing this issue very first time in Oracle Apps R12.1.3 64 bit Linux Environment.
Navigation : SystemAdministrator ->Oracle Applications Manager -> workflow and i am seeing that all application components are down.

Do you have proper entry in the hosts file? -- R11i: adalnctl.sh fails to startup a cloned Instance - LSNRCTL shows 'Connection refused' [ID 1355564.1]
Please post the contents fo the hosts file here along with the application listener.ora file.

Lightroom workflow slows down after modifying an image

Hi fellow users,
Lightroom 4.3 runs smoothly if I work on unmodified images.
However, if I apply modifications on an image, retouching it afterwards becomes much slower, even if I render a preview AFTER I made modifications on the image.
I tell you an example: I import a raw file to the program and I render it`s preview. Then I retouch the image - it works very fast, no waiting time, no Loading overlay.
Where the problem starts: I import a raw file, I apply some modifications on it (for example a preset), then I render it`s preview - then I want to do more modifications on the image, which becomes very slow.
I was monitoring the cpu usage of the computer. In the first case, the cpu usage during modifying the image is normal.
In the second case, it goes up to 100%.
It seems that applying modifications on an image makes working on it slow, no matter if you have the most up-to-date preview or not.
Anyone knows if it is normal or not?
Is there any solution to this?

Windows 7 64 bit (up to date)
Lightroom 4.3 64 bit
Fast PC
lightroom settings:
camera raw cache: 20gb
video cache: 10gb

First of all, you can forget about the preview rendering, that's irrelevant. Previews are only used by the Library module, not the Develop module. In Develop, it's handled by the ACR cache.
Now, as for slowing down after initial adjustments, that's a variable I haven't looked out for. But it could well be correct (it would explain some weird results I got across two machines recently).
In general, Lightroom 4 performs well below expected standards on some systems, while others fly along, and it seems nobody can explain why. Long story, do a search on this forum and you'll come up with several lengthy threads. The problem is that there are so many variables in this that it's almost impossible to even define what "slow" means. And now you've added another (interesting) one...

E-mails and websites all down this AM

Hello. I am on vacation and went to update my websites and send some business e-mails home. All of my websites are down. Someone said it might have to do with needing to buy an icloud device but I have no idea what that is -- is this some sort of thing like an ipad or ipod? I hope my computer just did not become unusable. Please advise. I just want my e-mails and websites back up as I have been sending people to view my websites (mostly charity events I organize).

Automator/Workflow slow downs under Mac OS X 10.6

Hi,
after the update to SL some of my Automator Workflows dont work properly.
I do things like copy some part of sentence from a .rtf document and insert it into a input box of a website in firefox.
In 10.5.8 everything worked like a charm. But in 10.6 the same workflow (also new created) works some times and the other time it slows down and the cursor moves like a stopmotion movie. Pixel for pixel and i cannot stop the workflow. I only can wait until the workflow is finished (takes in "slow-down" mode 30 minutes) or i do a hardreset. I wonder if anyone else such of this problems with automator under 10.6
I tested the same things with my mac mini that i didnt upgraded and it works like expected.
I think you can reproduce the behaviour, if you create a new .rtf document with numbers from one to twelve and make a workflow where you mark 4 letters, cut, bring firefox to front, paste into form, go to .rtf, mark next 4 letters, cut, go to firefox, paste into form, doing that until there are no more letters.

Lightroom slows all down

Hi everybody. My new Lightroom 3.0 slows down everything on my computer. After using it for a while it halts my computer. Usually i have to restart it by pressing the power button for 5 secs.
my system specs are:

I´m thinking on move back to lightroom 2.7 or, even better, using some other software.

After update to FF20, my tabs are all down along the left side, rather than at the top of the screen. How do I get them back to the top?

I've looked a lot in Firefox, checked my add-ons, and searched support forums,but can't find an answer. When I pop out the "options" box, "tabs on top" is faded out & clicking it does nothing.

Firefox doesn't do this by default.<br />
This is likely changed by an extension (or theme), so you can check the settings in tab related extensions.
If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
Close and restart Firefox after each change via "Firefox > Exit" (Windows: Firefox/File > Exit; Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox"; Linux: "Firefox/File > Quit")

Shutting down one tunnel shuts them all down

I have several remotes sites connected to "home" with Cisco 891 routers at each remote site.
"Home" actually consites of two different data center sites, each with a Cisco 3845 router terminating the IPSec tunnels there. One home site provides VOIP phone service, the 2nd home site provides PC Data.
Each 891 router has two IPSec over GRE tunnels configured, one tunnel goes to the VOIP home site's 3845 router, the 2nd tunnel goes to the DATA home site's 3945 router.
All of my pre-existing 891 routers are still running IOS 12.4(22)YB5, and are working fine.
My newest 891 router, purchased recently for a new remote site, shipped with IOS ver 15.0(1)M4, and when I have both tunnels configured similarly to the others, both tunnels come up and everything seems to work fine, but if I disable the VOIP tunnel with the "shutdown" command on the tunnel interface for VOIP, then the data tunnel will not come up at all, with full verbose crypto logging turned on, I never even see an attempt to bring the data tunnel up, and when I issue a "no shut" on the VOIP tunnel, both tunnels come right up.
This behavior is not seen on the original 891 routers still running 12.4. I can shutdown the VOIP tunnel and the DATA tunnel will come up, stay up just fine.
I really do not need the VOIP tunnel at this new remote site for the immediate future, but would like to keep the configs in place for the future, and also to keep all my 891s configured identically (different ip numbers of course) for consistancy's sake and easy of management.
Is this a known bug in IOS 15.x that if you issue a shutdown on one tunnel interface, it kills them all?
Do I need to install 12.4 on this 891? I'd rather keep the IOS on it that it shipped with.

I think I've decided just to roll back the IOS to 12.4 instead. That way I'll be truly consistant with IOS and configs across all my 891 remote site routers. 12.4 has been working perfectly well at the other locations. I really don't have time to fool around with debugging IOS problems unless Cisco wants to pay me my hourly consulting rate , I just need a known solution that works right now and 12.4 is it.

Spaces get confused and slow it all down

Has anyone else had trouble with Spaces losing the plot? I've found Microsoft Office in particular sometimes opens a document but refuses to actually show it, so somehow the space isn't switching. Also found a reluctance to move to the finder when clicking on the desktop. It all seems to get a bit stuck. So after losing patience and deleting my spaces and all the app designations, I just realised how slow and sticky the machine has been. With Spaces deactivated Leopard is a pleasure to use and as snappy as, dare I say it, OS 9! Anyone got any tips on making spaces work better? Or does it just need some development?

Just wanted to chime in and say that I've had a similar experience with Spaces. I often have 10 - 15 applications open at a time, so I thought this would be a nice way to unclutter things a bit. Unfortunately, it seemed that different actions took much longer to complete. Specifically when working and switching between Adobe CS3 programs. I still only have the 2GB of RAM that originally came with the machine, so maybe it's simply a matter of boosting the RAM.

Detached a mysite content database and then re-attached it, now my sites are all down

I detached a mysite content database using the
Dismount-SPcontentdatbase
then
MOunt-Spcontentdatabase
and now none of the mysites will work. Is there some other step I need to do to bring them back online?

OK, I made a big mistake.
When I mounted the content database I used the -server option and selected the wrong server.
So instead of re-mounting the database, I accidentally created a blank database.
So I dismounted that content database and then remounted the database on the correct server and all my mysites began to work correctly.
This is definitely a lesson learned on my part. Hopefully this helps other out if they make the same mistake.

I had previously downloaded Email ++ onto my Bold 9780 (O2) . At that time it was a time limited trial. I opted not to proceed with the puchase at that time and deleted it. I have now decided that it would be a good idea to purchase the full product but on selecting purchase it keeps coming up with re-installing the original product. I have deleted the cache on the phone, so the only reference to this product will be on the list retained at the RIM App Server Database. On checking the error log on the phone details as follows:-

Exception Detail: Trying to download an app that hasnt been purchased yet.
That indicates to me that RIM don't remove listings of downloaded time trial apps therefore confusing the diddly out of the Store Front when wanting to purchase an app version.
No app for me, no money for the developer, no cut for RIM.
You'd think that in such an instance when RIM has the potential to lose on a revenue stream that at least there would be a directly contactable email for the App World Sales Team?
Heres hoping someone at RIM reads this and gets in touch!

What version of BlackBerry App World do you currently have installed? Can you please verify that your BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone was rebooted after clearing the cache? Can you please try to reinstall the trial version and then upgrade to the purchased version and let me know the results?
