Workflow changed due to increasing Megapixels.
About two months ago I upgraded to the Canon 5D MkII, very nice, 21MP, but this is to just set the stage, my previous camera was 12MP.
During a normal days shoot I will, using raw, shoot around 1000 images, say 50 per "scene". I then go through cull them and present my client with a smaller selection to choose from, with any enhancements being done only to their final selection. Pretty normal and my clients and I love the quality from the increase in MP.
I have just finished one of those dreaded copy jobs that comes "our" way occasionally, a pile of company journals from the 1960's. The shoot was fine, in RAW, so perhaps overkill in size but great quality.
The issue arises in Aperture. Rather than the normal 20 images from a shoot I have to work through I have 800 that ALL need straightening, cropping, levels, sharpening, etc. The increased processing time due to the increased file size, wow, even with stamping the changes across them all, you can really feel it struggling and the job will take me at least 8 hours longer than budgeted for. The sitting and waiting is back to the stage where I can go and make a coffee, read the discussions, post a few myself and the system then be ready for me.
The system which is quite adequate thank you, or so I thought, the library is even on a four disk raid. I would suggest that if you are spending the money to upgrade your camera system you will want to consider an upgrade in mac at the same time. Everything doubles, even the import times, oh and importantly the library size grows not a little bit quicker but at double the rate.
Next time I shoot I will consider the end product and choosing the appropriate camera.

As understand from your question, I think its better practice to change the baseline date either manually or automatically from some logic during the billing document creation. This can be done through through the following userexit

We are giving the workflow web aministration responsibility to few users.i want to create a report to track when these users makes changes(like approving,rejecting or editing) to the other users Iexpenses or iprocurements.
Are there any tables to track these changes.is there any standard oracle report to track these changes.

My project worked OK with TP3, but now I have problems with TP4.
It seems that wildcard navigation is configured from adfc-config.xml only and ignores wildcards from other workflow definition files. Any hints?

In TP3 the last both worked OK. In TP4 the second one doesn't work anymore and I have some navigation broken now. If someone can provide me with a link for the workflow changes description in TP4, please let me know. I found nothing about my problem in release notes.

Photo filenames being changed, due to Photostream?
I have an Eye-Fi card set up to import photos taken with my Canon DSLR to my Photostream. Other than the occasional image not being imported, which is discussed in other threads already, it seems to be working. It allows me to view photos taken on my iPad almost immediately and I'm semi-happy with the set-up. I'd be thrilled if not for the occasional missed photo glitch.
My workaround for the missed photo glitch is to occasionally plug my card into my iMac and check the card with iPhoto. Anything not already imported is recognized and tehn imported, in other words it "catches up". Not ideal, but it works.
It's been about 3 months since I've connected my iPhone of iPad to my Mac, but the last iOS update noted that they would need to be connected and wifi sync enabled for wireless syncing, which was what I had before. This week-end was my first opportunity to do that.
When I did, iPhoto shows that I have about 1900 photos already imported, but about 2500 not imported! That made no sense since I sync all my photos for my iOS devices through Photostream. I started comparing photos and they all seem to be in iPhoto, obviously I've not compared all of them and not sure I'd ever have the time to do it. Not in this lifetime anyway! They seem to be duplicates in every way except file name. Exif information is exactly the same, down to the second in both photos, but one is called IMG_7143.jpg, the other IMG_1124.jpg. Not even close enough to each other to explain a slight similarity, but what could possibly be happening in this workflow that could be creating entirely new file names. Isn't that created by the camera when the file/photo is created??
I apologize if this has been covered in another topic already but when I tried to do a search for information I just kept finding posts about how to change file names during import, changes, etc. Nothing about this issue. I'm running latest versions of all software, OS X and iOS on all devices.

SláinteI downloaded 4300 photos from my iPad to a desktop folder using Image Capture. Prior to download, iPad showing in iPhoto, it stated I had 1837 photos already imported, 2463 new photos for import. After adding all the photos to the new folder iPhoto reported the same results when I selected the folder for import. I was able to compare some of the photos that I could see "would be" duplicated if I were to run the import and, again, they are exactly the same (Exif) except for the file names. For example, when I compared 5 photos from 2/23/14 that were the same they are IMG_0268 through 0272 in iPhoto. In the image capture download folder they are IMG_3729 through 3733. It seems to me the file names on the iPad are the original names since they are in line with the file numbering on the camera right now.
I'm sure this is a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway, could Photostream be renaming files?? It's the only thing that makes sense because the current workflow is take photo -> wifi transfer (Eye Fi) to iPad -> iPad sync with Photostream -> Photostream sync with iPhoto. Due to the issue with incomplete Photostream syncs I always check to make sure everything on the card is synced with iPhoto before erasing, there's always a few but this always catches them. The issue is that there are a bunch of photos on the iPad that were taken with the DSLR camera and have already been synced to iPhoto but now have a different name and appear to iPhoto to be new and unique.

we had a similar requirement during the initial implementation project.
We have used BADI_RECD_CASHFLOW for this purpose. We have used both Methods - CHANGE_CASHFLOW_OBJ and CHANGE_CASHFLOW_PAY in such a way (for the last one):
LOOP AT ct_pay ASSIGNING <ls_cashflow_pa>
WHERE ( cfstatus = 'P' ) AND
( origflowtype IS NOT INITIAL ) .

Change due date in receivables for credit check
Hi Sappers!!
Scenario: When SAP performs a credit check for a customer we need that pending receivables
(open items) for this customer which have a concrete payment method, don't use due date
for calculation, instead we want to use invoice date for carrying out the credit check
calculation.
Is that posible? Is there any user-exit where we can change this date to be used during
credit check control for documents which fulfill this requirement?
We don't want to change permanently the due date for this kind of documents, we only need to take another date into account when performing credit control.

Creating a new payment term is not a valid solution because, we don't want to change any date in the financial document. We just only need to use another data only for credit check. Here you have a concrete example:
Invoice created with invoice date 01/12/2009
Payment method confirming 90 days.
Base line calculated: 01/03/2010
If we create a new sales order, this open item will not be considered exceeded because due date is still in the future.
We want to consider it as exceeded and the due date would be 01/12/2009 but only for credit check. This "new" due date must not be stored anywhere.

Process-controlled workflow hang due to dump
Hi all,
due to a temporary dump in an SRM 7 system, some document-related workflows are stucked... in other terms, these workflow processes have been started, the the dump occoured and by now, they seems to be stucked in "in process" state.
Tecnically, these are not workflow in error, so SWI2_DIAG is not helpful.
We'd like to unlock this situation and -eventually- restart the workflow process. How can we do it?

edit: system dump is now solved, which means, triggering the same workflow process will result in a success.

Or do the manual restart by using tcode SWUE (Event trigger)

SRM 7.0 Process Controlled Workflow change

I have a SRM 7 process controlled Shopping cart workflow working ok, Approval based on value levels. The customer wouldlike to change this so that approval is also based on cost center attributes and also want at each approval level to have a reviewer.
Could anyone advise me how to add in a reviewer, as well as an approver for a particular process step, and also confirm that to have the cost center attribute taken account of at each process step, i would have to develop and code a new expression / evaluation ID, rather than use existing one.

Reviews are common for all process level.. itu2019s not process level specify like approvers.. Also we can add reviewers dynamically by a simple BADI implementation and configurations as follows..

Enhancement Spot: /SAPSRM/BD_WF_AGENTS
BADI Definition : /SAPSRM/BD_WF_REVIEWER_RULE

We can see Reviewer folder for all process schemas..
