Workflow: getting yet to review users on workflow

Hi all,
Is there any idocscript function to retreive the persons who are yet to review a content item on a workflow. I found that wfComputeStepUserList will retrieve all the users in a workflow. But how if i want to send email to persons after a x number of days to persons who have not yet reviewed the content?

I'd expect that wfComputeStepUserList does exactly what you are looking for.
Anyway, if you have tested it, you may take a look at the list of available workflow idocscript functions: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/doc.1111/e10726/c03_master_type.htm#CHDHIBJA
I'm afraid that expect wfComputeStepUserList there is nothing else you can use. This would mean that you need to compute the list of users that approved the item yourself in Update event, or from workflow history.

Hi All,
Below are the query details:
Module: HR
Area:      Workflow
Process: Hiring
There is an workflow in HR module that is triggered when an hiring action is run against an candidate.
There are two or three maximum approvers which is based on the position to which the candidate is hired.
Issue:
During the hiring process some times the workitem is getting triggered to two users at once.
One is the actual approver who should receive the workitem in his UWL and other is the user of our service center who is no where involved in the approval process.
Analysis Done:
We checked the workflow log and found that the actual approver's ID is getting displayed under agent and workflow is complete. But the other user's ID is no where shown in the log but he has received an workitem in his UWL that makes the issue still confusing.
Awaiting for experts suggestions.

You say that 'the workitem is getting triggered to two users at once' - do you mean that there are two workflow instances that are being kicked off at the same time when the hiring action is performed? Or is it that the workflow is generating two tasks that go to these different users?
Ans : There is a single task attached to the activity.
Is this a custom workflow?
Ans : Yes.
Are you certain that the erroneous task is only going to the user in the service center, or is it perhaps going to everybody (marked as a general task)?
Ans : The task is marked as general but the workitem is received by only one user of the service center at a time.
         As this issue has taken place 4 times in the past year all the 4 receiver were different belonging to different position.

1. Did you try to check the SPRO settings with respect to Hiring Process ,is there any where based on the position does workflow is forwarding the workitem to the other user.
2. Check the other user Roles and in the Org Structure where he is located , there could be a possibility of wrong position holding.
Ans : We checked the org structure, but org structure of both the centers are different and independent there is no linkage    between the two.
*3. IF you are using custom workflow then check if any standard workflow is also getting triggered. Check *
Ans : Yes this is a custom workflow, but no other Standard workflow is being called.
4. Check in the SWEHR3 is any custom entries maintained.
Ans : No, entries are maintained in SWEHR3.
Additional Info :
The task that triggers the workitem has an send mail step before it.
The send mail activity is to notify receiver that there is an workitem lying in the UWL.This mail is received by the actual user and not by the other one.The next step is the task that creates workitem which gets triggered totwo different IDs.
This scenarios mostly has come up when the number of approver is 1. If the approver is more than 1 the workflow runs fine without deviating the workitem to any worng user.

i have created workflow for PO RELEASE using the sap Standard workflow given,
my problem is that the workitem is getting forwaded to all users. i have used custom Rule for agent determination and made the task as general task.
Is this problem because the task is general task. please respond as this porblem is in Prd .

Hi Pradeep,
I guess when you are already using a rule to determine the agents then you should not make the task as a General task.
Change the task agent assignment to general forwarding not allowed. Then assign the rule to the task to determine the agents for the task.
Now if the correct agents are not determined by the Rule then the workflow would result into error but not go to other users.
You can check if the rule is working well using the Simulate button in PFAC.
Also mark the 'Terminate If Rule Resolution Without Result' flag to stop the workflow there is an error occurs.

Each time I try to index a 'Prepared' searchObjectConnector in the cockpit.. I get a message <
User data is not indexed, yet. Index user data first>. even that I ran the z_ESH_AU_UPLOAD_AUTH_RFC_720 report in R/3 system.. and checked the auth /user data in the admin cockpit.. and it was indexed..
1.any idea why I keep getting this error
2.any idea how can I clean the buffer or the message Queu.. my guess this might be not error but a q message..

The list does not claim features moved to the System are "missing". There are separate lists of added and changed features.
There are many people who claim to know what they are talking about but on closer examination it becomes clear they really do not know much about iWork, nor about the features they claim to have "found" in Pages 5.
I would be hesitant to claim that you were part of the beta testing of Pages 5 for 2 reasons.
1. Apple does ask you to sign a non-disclosure agreement
2. You then are part of the problem
Maybe, now you have disclosed that you were testing, you can explain how on Earth something so bad was released on an unsuspecting public, with no warning of what Apple had done and that it would alter/damage users' work.

I heartily recommend Office 2004, at least going by my experience. Never have tried Media Player under Rosetta. I use the beta version of Flip4Mac...

It sounds like you are getting this error message that your iPod cannot be read from or written to when you are trying to update your iPod Nano. How to get current logged in user's star rating in SharePoint 2013

Currently, I am developing a custom web part to show star rating for documents, everything is done.
However,when user hover on the star I want a tooltip message("Your current rating is 1..."), similar to what we have
in libraries(or what the sharepoint by default provides in libraries) . So can I get the user specific rating depending upon
the logged in user using code(.net or CSOM anything will work)

using the below code you can get the rated by user along with the rating , it's easier to just notify the user that her already rated the document

Get document number in user exit EXIT_SAPLMRMC_001 (MIRO)

Hi, i'm implementing exit MM08R002, FM EXIT_SAPLMRMC_001(changing tolerance check). In this FM I need to get document number that the user is modifying. But in the import parameters i don't have the document number.
I have found FM (MRM_PROT_GET), where i can get messages from the transaction MIRO and this FM doesn´t need the document number. I'm looking for a FM like this, but to get document number that the user is modifying.

Hi,
You can get that document no. using FIELD-SYMBOLS. Try these steps.
1. Press F1, where the user is modifying that document number. Get Program name, screen field structure from that.
2. declare one variable as field as field-symbols, in your exit.
FIELD-SYMBOLS: <lv_var> type any.
Assign '((SAP45MMA)BSIK-BELNR) to <lv_var>.
Here SAP45MMA is Program Name And BSIK-BELNR is field structure of your program screen.
in <lv_var> you will get the value, which user has modified.

Getting error while removinf user from AD group

Hi,
In AD User process definition, there is a default taks called :Remove user from Group. This task runs after another task called Organization Name Update . Whenever, an user is moved from one org to another org, his organization gets updated in AD user form and this task"Remove user from Group" runs. The work of this task is to remove the user from old groups. BUt the task is getting rejected and i see the below error in log files.

I think the mappings and all would be correct. Here is what Kevin meant:
- Let's assume the AD user account is a part of GroupA, GroupB and GroupC
- Now on Change Organization completion if you invoke Remove user from Group then the adapter/process task has no way to know that which 3 of those groups has to be removed (or all 3 for your case)
- Alternatively if you use API's to remove the group then this task would be invoked by the original OIM process/triggers and so the actual value would be known to adapter/process task.

Go to transaction SUIM, this has a number of reports for users/authorisations
open the Where used>Autorization Values>In Users
and double click to execute
in authorisation object, enter S_TCODE
then press the "Enter Values" button
It will offer entry boxes to put the transaction code you are interesed in.
Then execute and the list of users with access to this transaciton code will be returned.

Is there an option in CMC that gives the list of concurrent users currently logged on into the Infoview? I have CR server XI and Settings in CMC currently just gives the number of users logged in. I am using Enterprise security for the users.How can I get the list of users logged in?

The quickest way to see who is logged in is to go to the CMC, then click on Servers, then click on the .cms entry (it's the second one down on the list for my system). When you click on the cms link on the next page should be a list of users currently logged in (including you the administrator).
