WORKFLOW IN ROLE

hello folks,
i have created a user in su01 transaction,also created a role .In taht role i have given the authorization to the object(infoarea,infocube) as per the requirement,as well as have given the authorization for RSA1 transaction.Now added thatn role in the user created.but when i log in with the user i created and run the RSA1 it gives me NO AUTHORIZATION error and when i review the role,in that WORKFLOW tab is got red.Could you please explain what is this WORKFLOW is about and how to resolve the problem.

You Can try this.
Go to PFCG Tcode and create role >> Menu Tab > assign Transaction - RSA1 and SU53.
Assign Profile.
Expert Mode.-- give detail of your objects.
Generate.
User Tab > assign user and generate.

All,
Here is the requirement - Develop a workflow to generate a notification for multiple users.
Solution - I have developed a workflow (enabled the EXPAND ROLES checkbox at notification level), dynamically created a ADHOC DB User group and attached 3 users to the group then send the notification to users in the group.
The above solution is working fine as expected but once user-1 responds to the notification, the other 2 notifications not getting cancelled.
Based on the EXPAND ROLES functionality... once user-1 responds to the notification, the remaining notifications should get cancelled.
Am I missing anything here???
Please advise...

I found the solution - Uncheck the EXPAND ROLES checkbox in notification in workflow then it worked as expected.
For the above scenario... we shouldn't check the EXPAND ROLES

Workflow AND role

Hi,
I have a question regarding to the workflow.
When i create a service notification IW51, the system generate a workflow and the user recieve a message to unblock the service notification (using status profile).
When we affect the "SAP_ALL" role to this user. The user unblock the notification ..OK
But, i can't find the appropriate role or the appropriate autorization object to affect to the user. i try, iw51/IW52 the user recieve a message but when he unblock the service notification, there is an error.

then goto SU53. and check which auth obj is needed.

I need to execute the workitems which are going to some user, for this i need adminstrator role or a developer role.
Do i have to use SWIA for executing workitems which are going to some user.
To execute workitem is there any authorization required.

Workflow From Role.

Hi all,
In some cases in Irecruitement i am getting From role as <Please Enter>. I have to replace it with Some standard name like 'HR Team'. How can i achieve it.
I tried it by creating a adhoc user. But it is of no use. Should the From role should definetly be an employee of the organization. Can i randomly create a adhoc_user and use it?

The 'From Role' which you mentioned is for notification? If its for notification you can specify the 'From role' as below.
wf_engine.SetItemAttrText(<itemType>, <itemKey>, 'FROM_ROLE', '<role name>');
The From value will be shown as display name of the role.

What you want to say is i have not specified the correct URL in Custom Approver Determinator but i have not used the Webservice option in CAD Type but specified the Attribute as Request Type.
In ERM i have specified the correct URL by copying the correct URL using the WSDL.

Send Email Notification to Assignees in Role Approval Workflow in OIM 11g

Hi Experts,
I am using a Custom Workflow for Role Approval in OIM (11.1.1.5.4). It is a two stage Approval Process.
First level Approval is Requester's Manager and Second Level Approver are Role Owners(Two users who are Role Owner in OIM).
I want to send a Email Notification to this Assignees when a request is assignd to them . So i have done Email configurations in SOA. and i am receiving Mail in English.
But, the requirement is the mail's language should be dependent on Locale of these users.
for example if locale of Manager is German then Manager should recieve mail of Request assigned in German Language.
and after manager Accepts the request, Request goes to Role Approvers where we have two User, So mail should go to this two users according to their Respective Locale.
So how can i achive this????

One option would be to create views and then use the oob daily alert for each manager. If the number of managers is too much, then you should consider a custom timer job.
Your suggested approach is possible, but has potential issues in execution. I'd suggest the timer job first.

Am working on a Custom workflow assignment.
This is the first time, customer is working on workflows in this system.
Henceforth, we need to do basic setup/configuration, before starting actual work.
I want to know, what all Roles/authorizations are required for my userid throughout the assignment.
Currently, we have got,
EXX_BC_SAP_ALL_RESTRICTED :: All authorization without basis
SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_ADMIN::Administrator for Business Workflow
SAP_BC_BMT_WFM_DEVELOPER::Developer for Business Workflow

Are these sufficient or do we need any other roles?
With above authorizations, i am unable to access below mentioned t-codes,

No it is not like that, i mean that administrator for workflow will a single person so you can simply give his userid as the agent.

Advice needed: what does your company log for SAP security role changes?

My client has a situation where for many years, they never logged changes to SAP security roles. By that I mean, they never logged even basic details, like who requested a change, tested it, approved it, and what changed!! Sadly their ticketing system is terrible, completely free-form text and not even searchable.
Does anyone here use Word docs, Excel sheets, or some other way to capture security role change details? What details do you capture? What about Projects, that involve dozens of changes and testing over several months?
I plan to recommend, at least, they need to use a unique# (a ticket#, or whatever) for every change and update the same in PFCG role desc tab, plus in CTS description of transports... but what about other details, since they have a bad ticketing system? I spoke with internal audit and change Mgmnt "manager" about it, and they are clueless and will not make recommendations. It's really weird but they will get into big trouble eventually without any logs for security changes!

c) You cannot implement anything technical, but you`re asking about best "paper" practise?

Task Based, Approvals, Risk Analysis, SOD and role generation and maintenance in a structured way (Business Role Management). Workflow based, staged process with approvals.
PFCG transaction usage will be curtailed to minimum if implemented fully.
Do we really want to do things "outside" PFCG?

b) how tight your processes are? how much paperwork, workflow, tickets, requests and incidents you have to go through to change a role?

1) Confirm if the workflow is customized in any way.
2) Confirm whether you are able to select global preferences for the other invoices approval, meaning are you
getting the list of values for the other invoices.
There are no workflow customizations. We are trying to implement it to AP invoice
approval only.
Can you instruct me on how to test this one? I thought I could only select the global preferences from the workflow configuration window. And there are no distinction as to which invoice approval
process it is applicable. Where could I select the global preferences for other
invoices approval?

Hence, changing of wf admin role and user log-in (to sysadmin) won't help (just in case you would advise me to do so) since we tried it

Error in standard workflow 200000075

Hi Experts,
I know many people had a problem with the customizing of the standard workflow 200000075. I read all the posts, triple-checked the customizing and it is still not working
When I start my workflow (independent if I start it by creating a PO or by testing it manually) the status is set to "error" (can not see more information about this error).
Message no. WZ703
In the workflow log with technical details I can see following information:
 workflow created
 workflow started
error exception occured
error process_node
error create
error create wim_handle
error create via WFM
error evaluate_agent_via_rule
error AC20000027
 Error Message Created for Admin
error executing flow work item
error executing flow work item
If I check the WF in transaction SWUD the Event raises the WF, it starts correct.
In transaction SWETYPV I created an entry for the BO BUS2012 realesestepcreated with my workflow and active linkage.
The WF Diagnosis (SWUD) tells me following:
WD:287 Task 'TS20000168' has no agent assignment.
Can anybody give me some help with this?

As i understand that the Agent determination standard Rule which you are using 20000027 is not working.
Behind this is a Function module ME_REL_GET_RESPONSIBLE which is being called.
For this you need to maintain entries in the tables T16FW and T16FC.
First you maintain the table T16FC in which you will maintain the
Release Group, Release Code,
Workflow Role - Here Space = No Role Resolution.
 '1' = Role Relevant for Workflow
 '9' = Role Resolution uses a User exit
 EXIT_SAPLEBNF_001 for getting the Users.

Here you use a role resolution that is supplied in the standard system. To do so, you must assign the release point in the section Workflow (see below).
"9 - Role Resolution via User Exit"
Here you use the customer exit M06E0005 to define a role resolution of your own.
You need to maintain these through customising mode and the path is as follows :-
SPRO-> Materials Management-> Purchasing-> Purcahse Order-> Release Procedure for Purchase Orders-> Define Release Procedure for Purchase Orders.
You will also need to maintain the table T16FC through the customising process the same way as given above.
This should definitely solve your issue.
and in T16FW the entries need to have entries like
Release Group, Relese Code, Description,
OT = Here you need to give 'US' for user type
 'O' or organization
 'P' for Person
 'S' for a Position
 'C' for a Job
Agent ID = the agent id created through the Organizational object .
for e.g you can have
release group = X1
release code =C1
Description = 'Release one'
OT = 'US'
Agent ID = 'CHRISTOPH' - SAP User Id of a particular person

Try these steps and let me know what you see:
Login to OIA > Administration > Configuration > Workflows
Select Role membership create workflow
And check if you have added OIM provisioning server in the Step5 of the workflow.
