Workflow Issue : Email sender display name not as the same as alert email sender

Dear Support,
we customized a workflow for sending alert to some user when someone create a new item in the specified document library.
what we already done as below
1. the email sender address has been setup at "Central Administrator", for example "[email protected]".
2. team site title is "Customer Center Platform".
3. we customized a new workflow to trigger system send a email to recipient when someone create a new record.
what we expected is
Recipient will got a email which send from "[email protected]", the email display name should be "Customer Center Platform [[email protected]]", but in this case, the display name is "[email protected]".
it's been our experience that when we used "Alert Me" function, system will send the email and used "Customer Center Platform [[email protected]]" as email display name.
we want to change workflow email sender display name, what can we do? we are looking forward to your advice, many thanks.

we used "Send an email" Action, the recipient can receive email, but the email sender's display name is "[email protected]",
we want to change to "Customer Center Platform [[email protected]]".
There is a native "Alert me" function under sharepoint team site, we compared the email sender display name, we found the display name in "Alert me" notification email
is "Customer Center Platform [[email protected]]".
we have no idea what is wrong when we setup the workflow.

Email & attachments ALSO webpages--not showing the same content as computer

Having several issues...
I have (as an example) bookmarked (on my home computer) a www.weather.com link (showing radar images for my city), the bookmark was sync'd to my iPhone, and WAS working fine, however now whenever I try using the link, it is a different webpage...almost like a modified phone version of the www.weather.com site. I can use the same link on my computer, and it shows the page I want, but now on iPhone it's different. I've tried deleting cookies and cache's, but every time I go to this bookmark, a different version of the weather page come up. Almost like a 'watered down' version. How can the same bookmark get different pages on my computer and on iPhone?
ANOTHER issue... I have tried testing this by forwarding an email to myself.... I have an airline itinerary from an airline that was sent to my email (from the airline website) and it comes through as the typical formal itinerary 'look'. If I forward this email back to myself, it doesn't come across the same with the formal look, only the text format on my iPhone. BUT, it comes through perfectly on my computer. Again, same email, but viewing it on my computer show the original formal itinerary, but viewing on my iPhone is again, some kind of watered down text only format.
Any ideas??? Thanks!

Thanks for your reply... for the www.weather.com website, I get the same result using either Edge or WiFi, even if I manually enter in "www.weather.com" and not use the bookmark, it changes to xhtml.weather.xhtml and gives me this other version, which I am assuming to be the mobile version. The mobile version appears to be faster that the 'real web' version, but I'm still wondering why this would be giving me the mobile version. It was working fine, but in the last day or so, I've been getting this mobile version....
On the other issue, with the emails... why would my messages be coming across as just text? I can forward an 'html' email from my iPhone (using Yahoo), showing the itinerary I received for my trip, with all the graphics, and when I login to my Yahoo email on my computer, I see the exact same original email. Then I go to my iphone and read the message, and it's in text format. Any ideas???

I want to download emails into TB: ie not preserve the originals in my email provider.

At present TB mirrors my madasafish inbox: if I remove an email from one it is also removed from the other. The problem is, I wish to keep emails for reference (on TB) but this may well lead to exceeding my Mb limit on madasafish. Help!

It all depends upon what type of mail account you are using.

IMAP mail accounts see a remote view of the server folders. IMAP mail accounts can see any subscribed folder on the server.
If you delete an email via Thunderbird or webmail using a browser, it will delete from both as they are one and the same folders.
You can move/copy an email and save it in 'Local Folders' which is a special account in Thunderbird. These emails will be saved in Thunderbird Profile and are not effected by the server. However, you do need to backup these emails as you would have the only copy if removed from the server.
Subscribed folders download headers and then download the rest of the email to a temp cache for easier retrieval, but they are not stored on your computer nor in the Profile folder. They are stored on the server. You cannot read these emails if you are in 'offline' mode.
You can synchronise subscribed folders to get a copy downlaoded to your Thudnerbird Profile folder. These types of folders are constantly updating/synchronising with the server, so that both are the same. But you can read these emails even if using 'offline' mode.

Receiver file name should contain the same plant value as sender filename

I have a requirement in PI 7.0 and the scenario is synchronous which is as follows:
- XI will read a flat file which has the naming convention Plant_100.txt where 100 is the plant number , after reading the file XI will trigger standard BAPI call to ECC system.
- ECC system will return an response message back to XI , XI need to need write this message in to a log file and the file name should be Plant_100_logs.txt.
- Here plant value 100 is neither passed to ECC system nor this value will be returend back from ECC system . So , is there anyway where we can make sure that plant value can be added to the log file without using an BPM in between ??

Hi,
Using Dynamic configuration in Message mapping you can read the source file name and creta the target file name as same as source file.
For BAPI call in Mapping you can use RFC lookup.
So crete a scenario FILE to log FILE
In mapping using RFC lookup make a BAPI call.
And use dynamic configuration to set the file name.

How can I get Sender Display Name using Get-MessageTrackingLog?

Hi, could you please help me. We have got a monitoring system at work which monitors some devices, so if something wrong happening with these devices email is sent from MASTER email (Customer Name <[email protected]>) to us. I'm trying to get a list
of all emails of that monitoring mailbox using PoweShell command
Get-MessageTrackingLog and export them to CSV file. In the end of the day I need CSV file with 3 columns: TimeStamp, MessageSubject and SenderDisplayName! Yes, I need Sender Display Name cause all emails are sent from one MASTER email
(Customer Name <[email protected]>) and only difference between them is sender Display Name which is cexactly what I need.
This is the code I'm using:
Get-MessageTrackingLog -EventId Receive | Select Timestamp, MessageSubject, Sender | Export-CSV C:\NagiosAlerts.csv

So how can I get sender Display Name(Customer Name) using Get-MessageTrackingLog insted of Sender email (<[email protected]>)?

The DisplayName is not recorded in the Logs only the EmailAddresses are so there Is nothing you can do with Message Tracking to get this the way you want. You need to look at another property may soureIP or include something in the Subject
of the Email (eg a customerId in the Subject is a much better option) to give you some differentiation. Otherwise you need to access the Email directly from the Mailbox it was sent to and then extract the DisplayName from the message (or use a journaling
on those emails etc)

Display name not getting generated When creating user thorugh GTC

We are using GTC flat file as a trusted source. We see that display name not getting generated. And same thing happening when creating a new GTC mapping.
previously when we ran with few test user got created with display name through GTC flat file , Suddenly we see this issue display name not getting generated through flat file recon.
Manually user creation has no issues.
Please let me know if you have any idea about this issue.

Don't use GTC... GTC is inflexible and buggy technology... Nothing guaranteed... Rather create your own custom trusted recon code...

Creating a Folder Within Form or Document Library & Display the name not in the name column.

I have created a form library that will used to create folders within that. The folder creation is done using an InfoPath Form that has been uploaded to the Form Library. When the new folder was created the name will be displayed at the Name column within
the Form Library. I want to change that to another column like documents or suchlike.
Can it be done using InfoPath 2010 VSTA C# or not? If their are other options available please could you try to inform me!

If you want to show the name of folder in another column, a workaround is that you can create an extra column, then create a SharePoint Designer workflow to set the value of
this column with the name of folder.

If you purchased about 2 years ago new I am sure it is a Intel iMac. To find out what type of iMac you have just click on the Apple menu item in the finder and select about this Mac. I would check the ISP mail site and get the correct outgoing mail server info.

This is the server sending you a mobile page or site overriding the requested Desktop site unfortunately. You can try to reload the page with desktop site checked again as well. Some servers have different versions for different devices like gmail and its not always the same.

To change the iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Sender file adapter not polling the file

hi all,
i have configured a filexifile scenario....
but the file sender adapter is not polling the file at all....
i dont c any message either in RWB or in SXMB_MONI
i checked the adapter framework url at http://<ximachine>;<port>/AdapterFramework....and the status for the file adapter is green...
but the message it gives there is

y is the sender adapter not polling the file..
i am using NFS as my File System....i gave the source directory as d:/test_dir/
is this way of specifying the source directory on a windows machine correct...

There is probably something wrong with the File Adapter. You will need to go to the RunTime Workbench >> Component Monitoring >> Display >> Click on the Adapter Engine >> More information will display and click on the button 'Adapter Monitoring' >> A new window will display and click on the arrow next to your adapter engine. This displays a list of adapters running on your system. Green light means good; Red, you have a configuration problem. Look at the error and try and resolve it.
