Workflow issue On CRM Web UI  7.0

Hi,
We have build a custom workflow,"Approve CRM order related billing request".Once the debit/credit memo is created and saved the workflow should get trigger and a workitem should be visible on the Worklist on Web UI.
The issue  is the functionality work fine and I can see the workitem in SBWP (GUI),but not on Web UI.Is there any setting which am missing,to get the workitem to be displayed on Web UI.
Please provide some inputs.Points will be rewarded.
BR,
Zam.

Hi,
The following things you need to check in the system to make it working.
1. The Business partner should have the correct details e.g In Partner Role (Employee) details->Identification Tab-> Username.
2. Go to transaction se16-> table SWWWIHEAD check for the details with the correct Workflow template.
3. SPRO Workflow Web UI custoizings need to be checked.
SPRO-> SAP Reference IMG->CRM-> workflow->maintain standard settings.

  • Unable to open URL attachment from SBWP in CRM WEB UI

    Hello Gurus,
Need your help please. I'm having some problem opening the URL attachment from SBWP via CRM 7 WEB UI (I used a Transaction Launcher for SBWP). The attachment is a Webdynpro application.  I am able to open the attachment in SAP GUI, but not in CRM WEBUI. This problem occured when we update the SP level of CRM 7.
    Here's the scenario,
    - whenever I click the attachment, it open a new window, which also happen even before SP level update, with the following information:
      Execute an Application on FrontEnd
Please wait. You will be forwarded automatically.
This page is included for technical reason.
      Execute program.
      Status: Displaying Office Document ..........
After a couple of seconds, it will return to the Workflow Workplace screen.
I have checked the workflow log and found no inconsistency on the attached URL.
Immediate response would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Edwin

Thanks for the reply WD ABAP.
Yes, I did try to use the functionality of Worklist and the URL attachment successfully opened. However, there are some limitation in its functionality as indicated in the link below that opted us to use the SBWP in CRM WEB UI via transaction launcher.
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/CRM/CRMWorklist-AdvancewithDialognotSupported
We don't want to adjust the logic of our existing workflow at this point as described in the above link as it will entails end-to-end testing again. We just encountered this issue when we update the SP level of CRM 7.
Hope there is an alternative solution without shifting us to Worklist.

  • How to Launch CRM Web-UI when IE is crashed down

    Dear experts,
My IE is crashed down because of some historical reason. However, when I use "crm_ui" or "wui" transaction codes to try to launch CRM Web-UI, the error message always pops up like this:
" Thes sytem is trying to execute the program C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe"
And since my IE is crashed and the iexplore.exe can not get executed any more, I can not log-on Web-UI via GUI directly.
For some reason that I really can not fix this issue by fixing IE, so could some expert urgently help me and teach me how to configure or modify the defaulted route of web-UI lauching path so that I can change it to firefox.exe or chrome.exe?
Thanks so much for your kindly help in advance if any.
    Best regards,
    Vivian

    Hi Vivian,
today I had a look in the system. With my above assumption I seem to be wrong. SAP does not use the system default browser. It checks the registry for a config string and otherwise always uses InternetExplorer. Though I do not know how this registry string is filled (maybe by setting a default browser ;-) )
See the screenshot below for the logic that is invoked by transaction WUI. WUI is the more common way of CRM_UI ;-)
Now it is up to you again:
    Fix your windows installation.
Change the registry string to use Firefox or Chrome.
Do as Christian pointed out and call WebClient by URL.
For the last option keep in mind: Calling other browser dependent transactions will crash as well. Just check SOAMANAGER. Testing WebClient components using the component workbench will not work either.

  • CRM WEB UI - Time out Pop-up

    Dear All,
We have a business requirement to monitor and optimize the CRM WEB UI timeout and other related issues.
I would like to have time-out pop-up for the call center agents  and hence they could better manage the sessions .
This will avoid loosing the valuable customer data for the session and so on.
We are now working on the following threads with CRM Technical folks.
Please share your experience or the detailed steps if you had implemented already.
SAP  note 1877120 - CRM-IC: session timeout issue with CRM 7 EHP1 and higher

    Venkat

    Hello Venkat,
For business roles of type IC Webclient, you have to implement SAP Note 1877120. Don't forget to update your view layout in your custom enhancement if you have enhanced CRMCMP_IC_FRAME/HiddenView.
After implementation of 1887120, also implement 1977631 and 1955366.

  • SAP CRM WEB UI : Toolbar not displayed properly

    Hi ,
One of my client's is facing an issue with the toolbar display on CRM Web UI. For example, if he opens up some activity on Web UI, the toolbar is displayed vertically in an uneven format as shown in the image attached herewith:
Does any one have some idea about rectifying it? I have checked the personalization settings and this problem occurs only for one user.

    Hi Simran,
Try to debug method IF_BSP_WD_TOOLBAR_CALLBACK~GET_BUTTONS and see how the button and the seperators are placed there.
May be the seperators are disturbed in the button table.
    Thanks,
    Bhushan

  • Pop-up screen not showing while accessing transactions in SAP CRM WEB-UI

When we are logging on SAP CRM WEB UI, for transactions like Lead, Complaints and Activities-
Sometimes Pop up screen is showing for selecting transaction types, but sometimes it is not showing.
We have tried it on different work stations with same user id and standard business roles , but we are not able to trace the problem. Also with same id sometimes error shows, "No business roles attached, not allowed to logon,
after that when we tried on other workstation with same id we were able to access all transactions.
Please suggest what would be the problem.
    Rishikesh

This is sporadically occurring issue hence I cannot pin point one single reason. Since sometimes you are able to logon and some time not certainly it could not be a Role authorization issue.
Just check if your business role is properly configured. Thats all i can say.

  • Opening a long URL on click of button in CRM Web UI

    Hi Experts,
I am facing an issue while opening a long URL (length greater than 255 char) on the click of a button in CRM Web UI.
I have declared an attribute zv_url type string and populated the variable in event handler.
Thereafter I have written below logic in .htm:
    <script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">
    window.open("<%=controller->zv_url%>").focus();
    </script>
But the logic is not opening my URL, it is just opening a web window 'res://ieframe.dll/http_400.htm' with error page HTTP 400 Bad Request.
If I try to modify the variable zv_url in debugging with a short url say 'http://www.google.com', it works correcly but due to the length of url, the logic is opening error page.
Can you please help me out with this issue?
    Thanks in advance,
    Nitin Karamchandani.

    Hi Nitin,
i will give you one suggestion when you click on button this url you need to open right.
i have faced same problem last time. so at that moment i have done my code in do_prepare_output.
when ever your declare your button properties there is one property onclientclick.
    CONCATENATE 'javascript:window.open( "http://YOURLINK.com:8000/sap/bc/gui/sap/its/webgui/!?~transaction=TCODE&~okcode=ICEXECUTE&sap-user=crm_remote&sap-password=sap_user&sap-client=300&IP_VBELV=' zvbeln '&~okcode=/00&");' INTO
    lv_string.
       ls_button-type     = cl_thtmlb_util=>gc_icon_print.
       ls_button-text     = 'PRINT'.
       ls_button-enabled  = me->view_group_context->is_view_in_display_mode( me ).
       ls_button-on_click = 'PRINT'.                             "#EC NOTEXT
       ls_button-on_client_click = lv_string.
       APPEND ls_button TO gt_button.
       CLEAR ls_button.
    try this..

  • CRM Web IC - Broadcast Messaging

    Hi All,
We are trying to implement CRM Web IC - Broadcast Messaging Component to receive messages from supervisors.
Could someone enlighten us How to implement Broadcast Messaging in CRM? Is there any detailed guide that gives details on how to acheive this? What are all the components required to acheive this?
Your help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards.

    Hi Jagdish,
I worked on this task for a previous project, but it was unique as our IC WebClient implementation was not standard and included a industry extension for Services so we only had activated the ABAP stack for IC WebClient and did not utilize the Java stack.
As you know the IC WebClient uses the Java stack primarily for messaging services, which includes Broadcast Messaging since it is a Java based interface. This interface is provided via the ICM (Interaction Center Manager) application offered via the Portal and many will tell you that the Broadcast Messaging component cannot be used as a standalone application, but we provedd this was not the case.
In any event, if you wish to use Broadcast Messaging without ICM or Portal you only need to derive the appropriate URL and activate a service in SICF. I will try and help you from what I remember to get you there.
    1. Activate Broadcast Messaging service in transaction SICF
    default host --> sap --> bc --> bsp --> sap --> bsp_broadcast
    2. Test URL in transaction SE80
The BSP Application for broadcast messaging is bsp_broadcast. Expand the folder Pages with Flow Logic and double-click on cicapplet.htm Then click on the Test icon or F8 key on your keyboard. Please note that the bsp application may or may not launch depending on your particular installation. I assume that your IC WebClient installation has both the ABAP and Java stacks activated.
    3. Define URL
If you encounter issues launching the application ensure that your URL is correct. The URL used should look something like the following.
    http:// <SAP application server> :port/ <path to business server page>/abapapplet.htm?login_option=supervisor&profile
    = <profile name for broadcasting>
    Hope this helps.

  • Gradient has stripes & workflow of save as web file question

Hi! Working now with AI CS6.
I have a gradient with 3 colours, but unfortunatly you can see stripes within the gradient, like it is devided in many little steps.
Any ideas how to solve this? The gradient should be very, very smooth.
Second question concernes the workflow of saving as web file.
In AI CS5 it has been easy to scale a grafic item in its meassures in the dialog "save as web file".
Just tiping the new messures for instance 100 instead if 50 px, click an then the preview of the file in the new size appeared at once.
It changed somewhat in AI CS6, the preview doesn`t seem to work properly. Annoying!
Am I am doing something wrong?
    Help is most welcome.
    Thanks a lot!

For the first question, what is your screen resolution and number of colors being used? Please check if you're using low screen resolution of number of colors in display settings. Increase it to the best possible. On Windows 7, calibrate your display again and check.
For your second question, try pressing tab and Shift tab keys after modifying the numbers and switch between Width and Height until you see the changed preview. In CS6 the apply button was removed which is causing this issue. This has been noted in other forums as well. http://forums.adobe.com/message/4730659#4730659

  • ECATT and CRM Web UI

    Hi Experts,
Kindly provide your inputs of the feasibility of using eCATT for CRM Web UI recording. If possible, please also share the versions of CRM for which it can be used.

    hi,
In standard the workflows already integrated into web ui. You can get your workflow items either in Homepage or Worklist Workcenter.
For example, if you are showing opportunities or activities(DISPLAY) in your workflow after saving or someother condition, then reviever get the workitem in homepage. After clicking on the link, you will forword to Executing and then displaying your opp or activity.

  • Displaying Adobe Form through CRM WEB UI

    Hi Experts,
Currently I am working on CRM Technical which is very new to me. I've got a requirement to display the Adobe form through CRM WEB UI. The requirement is like this.
In a screen of WEB UI there is a option of OUTPUT preview. When i select the specific billing document and when i click on OUTPUT Preview tab it should display the Adobe Form which was developed in SAP GUI using txn SFP. I have done some R&D on it and i found that an ACTION Profile need to be created for this kind of requirements. But in my research i found only Smartforms can be displayed using the ACTION point.. Could anyone help me out how to display the Adobe Form using the Action......
    Regards,
    Aarthi.

    Hi Robert,
I came across this post after implementing the same solution.  It works fine for me in SAPgui, i.e. it creates an entry in the spool which I can priview or print, but when I use the webUI it just opens a new window with a white background and the message 'Error in smartform'.
Nitin, did you manage to come up with any solution?  Or did this work for you?

  • Navigating to CRM Web UI from an external link

    Hello Experts,
I'm working on a requirement to integrate the SAP UI5 with the CRM Web UI.
So, I now have a UI5 app, which will open up from the CRM Web UI screen, which is fine.
Now, once I'm done with my operations on the UI5 app, I have to navigate back to the CRM Web UI, and open a particular sales order in the Lean Order view.
Kindly advice on how this can be achieved.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Pratik.

    Hello,
I don't know this is exactly what you look for, but hopefully it is already helpfull.
Some time ago I was looking for a solution to open WebUI components directly via URL
This possible by creating a URL like this example (display BP)
    http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/bsp/sap/crm_ui_start/default.htm?crm-object-type=BP_ACCOUNT&crm-object-action=B&crm-object-value=XXXXXXX&crm-object-keyname=PARTNER
The server and port you can get via function : TH_GET_VIRT_HOST_DATA
XXXXXXX = partner number in SAP
The other parameters are the object type and operation
I found some info here: http://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/CRM/Calling+Web+Client+Components+via+URL+-+How+to+Guide

    Hi Bhushan,
Yes I did check DEV 200 after transporting the request. If I goto se80 in Dev 200 and navigate to the mountain.gif inside the BSP Application and click on the file, I do see my custom picture but the same is not reflected in Web UI. Over there, the mountain still reigns !!!
