Workflow not coming out of WAIT mode

Hi,
In the Requisition workflow I had applied a WAIT of 5 mins in the approval process. But even if we approve the status does not change to 'APPROVED' even after 30 mins. Though notifications are sent. In teh status monitor it shows Deferred: WAIT. I have scheduled the Workflow background process for every min with teh parameters as 'YES'. It gets approved after a very long time and hence slows the other flow which is not acceptible.
Any clue of how to avoid it?

What does a wfstat output show?
If you are using the standard WAIT activity, then the background engine should process that with no problem. If you try to execute WF_ENGINE.Background from a SQL session, what happens?
When there is a big delay, how many records are on the WF_DEFERRED queue waiting to be processed?
Are you running the background engine for all item types, or just for this one?

I've had my iPhone for 2 days. Saturday morning when I woke up, the phone would not come out of sleep mode. The phone was on, and would ring when a call came in, but the screen is blank. It wouldn't accept a hard restart for about 30 minutes. My husband was finally able to give it a hard restart. We thought it was a software glitch and was fine. This morning it's the same deal. The phone can be turned on and off, but the screen is black. This time, we have been unsuccessful with a hard restart.
Should I just head back to the store or can I fix this?

My 3G did this, and I went and got the phone replaced.
But make sure that the screen isn't working. I had managed to get mine working, so they didn't believe me, one week later I show back up with the phone working, but no screen. Got changed out real quick at that point.

IOS7.1.2 Update on 5S...Phone not coming out of recovery mode

After the recent update ios7.1.2 5S doesn't come out of the Recovery mode....Even on hard resetting the iphone i still see the "itunes and connector symbol" on the iphone. Not sure how to get rid of this. Could you please help me get back my phone to normal condition ? Nothing seems to work
During Recovery i'll get an error that says"Iphone couldnt be restored". Tried on multiple systems but still no use.

OS X 10.9.2 not coming out of sleep mode

Last week I updated my computer to OS X. Now I am starting to have issues. I am unable to wake my computer from sleep mode with my mouse or keyboard. I have to push and hold the power button for it to restart. Any suggestions or has anyone else had this?

Difficult to say what your issue is with not too much information. I would start buy doing some basics, Repair Disk Permissions (Disk Utility) 2-3 tiems, and reset the SMC and PRAM each 2-3 times. If you don' t know how to do the SMC & PRAM resets please click Intel iMac SMC and PRAM resets for instructions.

Do you mean resetting or restoring? Two different processes.

HP LaserJet P3005x will not come out of sleep mode

Printer will not come out of sleep mode (after being in sleep mode for an extended period of time (over 24 hrs)). When this happens, I can not ping the printer and pressing any of the buttons on the printer will not bring it out of sleep mode. I'm testing now to see if I can recreate this with the printer attached to my PC via USB.

I understand your monitor is not coming out of sleep mode. Take a look at the following support document, Resolving Problems with Sleep and Hibernate Modes (Windows 7). Step 3 might be of particular interest to you, as you mentioned your keyboard and mouse are not really working for you either. Perhaps it is another connected device that is causing the issue? Please do both of the following:
1) Turn the computer off. Press and hold shift. Turn the computer on. Continue to hold shift until you see the spinning gear below the Apple logo. Once it is started up, log in. Does it do the same thing here? If it works, please know this is not a fix, just an isolation step.
2) Test this in another user account on the computer. If you don't have one, create one in: Apple menu> System Preferences> Accounts. Click the lock in the lower left corner if it is locked and enter your password. Click the + just above the lock and type in "test" for all the fields it asks for. If you are on 10.4 or earlier, check off "Allow user to administer this computer". If you are on Leopard, make the account type an Administrator. Click "Create account". Click the Apple menu and select the last item ("Log Out" Account name). Log in as the test account and test. Note: You will have to set it to ask you for a password when waking from sleep (Apple> System Prefernces> Security> Require password to wake this computer from sleep or screen saver)
Let me know the result of those tests. Please make sure to try both, as they will allow me to see what may be causing the issue.

Sounds like you can't update your device. You don't mention an error that it gives you. Take a look at both of these articles to troubleshoot.

If you started your device in recovery mode by mistake, restart it to exit recovery mode. Or you can just wait—after 15 minutes the device will exit recovery mode by itself.

BPM Collect pattern is not coming out and it is in loop.

Hi Experts,
We have implemented a BPM Collect Time pattern and it was working fine in Dev and QA environments perfectly. Couple of days back we have some server issue in Dev environment and Basis team has done some thing with File Storage. From that time, all our BPM's were not working in Dev. It is showing that the block is waiting for some event to trigger and it is in Process state. We have set it for 5 min and block is not coming out from loop. We exported the code to QA and it is working in QA. We tried SWU3 transaction as given in the below forum and it didn't help us.

Is Your BPM having deadline branch ?
If there is any system Exception then catch it.

Also check your BPM using transaction SXMB_MONI_BPE and find out which step have error.

Display is all snow coming out of Sleep mode

Just replaced a 17" LCD (using the mini-DVI-to-VGA) with a new Acer 24" widescreen LCD (using mini-DVI-to-DVI). After a little fiddling with the profile, I've got a pretty nice picture. Problem: coming out of sleep mode, the screen is all snow. If I pop the monitor off and on, everything comes back normal. I did NOT have this problem with the older 17". This is more of an annoyance than a major issue, since just a couple of hits of the on-off button correct it. But it ain't right, so I'm hoping I can fix it for good. It happens whether the Mini goes to sleep by itself or if I put it to sleep. I don't know if it's a DVI issue, monitor issue, or something goofy with the Mini's video.
I did a search and found similar issues, but not exactly the same, and saw no suggested resolutions that fixed them. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The 9400M device driver on our Macs appears to be really bad.
My buddy tried to put a Sharp LCD projector on the external port on his Mac laptop, which also had a Nvidia 9400M, and it was not usable. The picture kept coming and going. The projector screen would go blank, then a picture would come up, go blank, and then the picture would come back again, over and over. Being an experienced Mac, PC, and Linux user, I attempted to help him get it working using the display properties page in the System Preferences. Nothing helped.
I'm having similar troubles with the second port on my 9400M on my new Mac mini.
The primary display is fine. I have a 24" Acer LCD on the miniport to DVI converter for my second display, and it works most of the time, however the picture goes to snow fairly often, and blacks out sometimes, too. It usually comes back. Occasionally, I have to power cycle the LCD to get the picture back.
Seeing similar problems with two different DVI display devices, when these devices work fine on our PCs, seems to point the problem at the Mac Nvidia display driver.

It's hard to say what the problem is. One recomendation would be to drop usage of the database connectivity toolkit as it adds a lot of complexity and limits your options for troubleshooting problems. There is an alternative here. Read the discussion and download the drivers...
Also, what kind of database are you connecting to?

Ink not coming out from new cartridge

I purchased the color and black cartridge from HP store. After installation the black ink is not coming out. Tried and checked all software settings and it seems the cartridge have some problem. Contacted customer service but no help. Can any one help?
It is a 3515 deskjet all in one printer and printer head is not detachable.

I see you are running into black ink issues. I would like to help.
I would recommend removing the ink cartridges, and performing a power reset. Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar.
I would also recommend utilizing the steps in this document on Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems.

The sleepimage file still reappears even if never slept. Delete it (hibernate off, etc) - within minutes its back.

Why does my MAC sometimes crash when coming out of sleep mode?

My mac freezea sometimes when coming out of sleep mode, and occasionally the screen will go black. At other times I will be using the MAC and it will just freeze. The only way to get out of it is to kill power and reboot. It seems to be happening more frequently.
It was suggested that I fix permissions and start in sleep mode. This has helped in the past, and I am going to do it again now. I also recently upgraded to 10.6.8, and after that the crashes were fewer, but now they are increasing again.
I am including a log of the recent crash a few minutes ago.

Okay thanks, but I am a newbie who is not a very tech kind of a person. The only periphals I have are a kodak camera dock, a Canon 310 copier/fax/scanner and a pair of altec speakers. How do I determine if they all have drivers for my MAC? They all seem to work okay, if that is a sign, though the Kodak camera Dock is a bit slow. How also do I determine if they are Apple energy compatible? With each of these peripherals, do I simply disconnect them from my MAC one at a time to see if there improvement?
