Workflow problem, activity name changed

Hi,
We're having problems running workflows. Our versions are:
OWB Client: 9.2.0.2.8
OWB Design repository: 9.2.0.2.0
OWB Runtime: 9.2.0.2.8 on Solaris
The problem is that mappings finish successful but workflow won't continue and hangs in busy state. I think we're hitting bugs 3154296 and 3178557, so we will patch asap to 9.2.0.4
What i see in the workflow diagrams is that some of the activity's have a @ (at sign) in front of the activity name. For example process 'cc_imp_ma_services' is displayed in the parent workflow diagram as '@cc_imp_ma_services'. In earlier runs (before hitting above mentioned bugs) this process is displayed as 'cc_imp_ma_services' without the @.
My question is why this @ signs appears and what is means if it has a meaning. Has anybody seen this before?

Please check the settings in SWU3. Most probably  the settings is not correct. You will get a lot of discussion from this forum if you search with SWU3.

  • Account problems  with name change?

    I got a new MacBook Pro and wanted give the old Macbook to my wife with access to all files, settings, etc. To do this, I just changed the Account name from mine to hers. When I restarted the old MacBook, none of the files or settings were there and it was like starting a brand new account. The documents folder is totally missing. I tried changing back to the previous account name, but it didn't change anything. I have all the files, etc on the new Pro, but Migration Assistant says there isn't sufficient hard drive capacity on the MacBook to accept them.

  • File Name Changes, Sorting Problem

    iTunes 10.5.1
    MacBook Pro Snow Leopard
    I am attempting to add a series of lectures to iTunes. These number about 100 and are sequential over 3 volumes. I obtained them in simple forlders labeled vol1, vol2 and vol3 and each track is named with a prefix such as "V1 Ch03 Relation of Physics to other Sciences.mp3". Oddly about half actually retain the full name and sort out properly but the rest do not. For instance the example in question becomes " Relation of Physics to other Sciences.mp3" and not sorting tricks can get them in order.
    Before I starting fooling with the names is there somethign else I can do? I have turned off "automatically check for track names" option on iTunes but the same result. Are the spaces causing problems? I don't want to change the names as I would like to share these and others won't figure out the sequence.
    There doesn't seem to be an option for date created sorting which may solve the issue. Also iTunes seems to be reading some meta data as the "album name" changes. It seems the lectures were originally released in a different series and recently compiled in the order created, the latter being preferrable.
    Any help appreciated!

    There are several possible causes for this problem.
    1. Two (or more) computers on the local network have the same Bonjour name, such as "X's-MacBook-Pro.local".
    2. You have two simultaneous connections to the same local network: probably Ethernet and Wi-Fi. If applicable, disconnect the Ethernet cable or turn off Wi-Fi.
    3. A Mac wakes from sleep due to network traffic. This is due to a bug in OS X that may only affect some models.
    4. A device that gets its network address from the router wakes from sleep, and the address it was using before has been assigned to another device.
    5. A third-party wireless router has incompatible settings or firmware. In that case, refer to the manufacturer or ISP for support. Restarting the router may help, temporarily.

  • Why my workflow name changed?

    Once I republished my workflow, my workflow name changed into "Workflow Status (1) ". Initially it was like "Workflow Status". What will be issue, how to fix this?

    According to your description, my understanding is that the workflow name changed to Workflow Status(1) after re-publishing the workflow.
    I recommend to remove the Workflow Status(1) from SharePoint and then re-edit the workflow in SharePoint Designer, then publish it again to see if the issue still occurs.
    Please go to Workflow Settings of the list which the workflow associated with and then Click Remove a workflow.

  • InDesign CS4: File names change to string of numbers

    Occasionally, one of our users will save an InDesign CS4 file, only to have the file name change.  For example, a file originally named "#kwn25501.bcbsNM.indd" was saved as "#kwn25501.bc157-1223857848."
    If the user is not aware that this has happened, things can go horribly, terribly wrong in our production environment. The "numbered" file may be missing key elements, or be somehow be corrupt in some fashion. In one case, this led us to having to reprint a job because the "numbered" file was missing a photo; somehow, that file was used (and perhaps renamed after the fact) to create the final output.
    We use Macs running InDesign CS4 6.0.5. Some of our Macs are running Tiger 10.4.11, while others are running Leopard 10.5.8. The problem seems to related to the Leopard machines, although that is not 100 percent certain at this point. All of these Macs are bound to Active Directory and save files to a Windows 2003 server. I know Adobe recommends against working on files over a network, but perhaps there is an explanation for this file renaming aside from network issues.
    Any light that can be shed on this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    Check to see if maybe your original filename is the problem.
    You may need that particular name for a workflow reason, but some of the symbols in the middle of your filename are generally not a good idea. Especially working off of a server, file names should be ONLY alpha-numeric characters, no symbols, no periods (except for the file type) and only underscores or dashes to separate words, no spaces.
    The reason is some of those symbols get picked up as machine language and all sorts of bad can happen as a result.

    but while executing in Background,it is not processing and in "Inprocess" status only.

    But the problem is not solved. Still I am facing the same problem .
    If the User name is Madhu -> Background workitem was created and Execution was also started automatically.
    But for next task User name changed to Background ID ( WF-BATCH) -> Background workitem was created ,but the not submitted for processing (execution was not started automatically) .
    Its there any restriction on WF_BATCH (OR) we need any additional authorizations/parameters to WF_BATCH to submit/Execute the Background Workitems(jobs).

  • Workflow creating new name when Publishing

    Hi team,
    I am having an issue with workflows really weird.
    I would edit the workflow to change a setting on the (for example, change who the workflow would send an email to) the workflow and publish it, the name of the workflow would change and add a parentheses to the workflow.
    For example, Email TEST would change to Email TEST (1), Email TEST (2), etc.
    Because of this, there are 4 workflows in progress. The old ones and the new ones and the users will get 4 emails from all 4 workflows. Granted, changes to the workflow would be made while the workflow was active.
    In designer, if I click on one of the Email TEST(1), it would open the original Email TEST. If you try to run the workflow manually, all the workflows appear as choices to select from. It’s like it creates a completely new workflow, however when you open
    it designer it still reverts to the original one.
    when we delete all workflows in Progress, and change who the email is being sent to, it still creates a new name of the workflow.
    In the test environment, we terminated all the workflows. Modified the Send email to user, and published it. It would change the name to Email ATAM (1), while the original workflow still had the same changes.
    Ideas??

    Hi,
    Whenever you publish a SPD workflow, it will add a new instance of the workflow with (n) added to the new instance.
    Usually, the old instance will not be active, if active you can still remove the instances on the same page you have attached.
    One suggestion is to remove all the previous instances of the workflow and publish the new workflow and assign it to the list / doc lib.
    While editing the workflow, it always edits the actual workflow that you have developed using SPD.
    I think its little confusion with Workflow instance that was assigned to the list and workflow that you are editing using SPD.

  • Office 365/Share point one Drive site name change ?

    We use Office 365 and the One drive in our organization and ADFS  setup to sync users from Active Directory to create and manage users in 365. A problem we've discovered is that when a users name changes (married) I can change it in AD and that will
    show in 365 but the users sharepoint site to one drive still shows the original name so for example if jsmith changed to jjones the original sharepoint onedrive site is

    I understand that you stay in the Office 365 admin Center, when you click the SharePoint option, you get the error page.
    I recommend to enter the URL as below in the Brower to check whether the account can access SharePoint admin Center.

    I use Mavericks Mac OS X 10.9.2 on MBP and iMac.
    It runs without big problems.
    On iMac there is a problem when I change from my account to an second account.
    2,7 GHz, Intel Core i5, RAM: 16 GB, HD: 2TB ca. 120 GB free, Build: Mid 2011.
    No problems for 3 years.
    Sometimes changing works well.
    Sometimes changing don't work.
    Today I carry out the fifth changing from yesterday.
    At 13:19 I change to Alexande.r
    Alexander was running before I change.
    Calendar  is define as start objekt.
    It jumps for long time
    Some seconds or minutes jumping stops
    Two infos in news right are shown
    Beachball is seen.
    Later I use cmd+alt+esc
    Nothing happens
    ergibt sich nix.
    Clock show contant only 13:22
    No menü commands possible.
    HD is running, I mean.
    Sometimes I hear access.
    13:55 I come back to iMac
    Monitor dark > Silence.
    Pressing table. or later mouse
    Monitor is on.
    15:10  iMac monitor always dark or on.
    Mouse awake always monitor
    What should I do?
    I know that I can shut down the iMac with pressung power for a short time
    I need info what can be the reason for this problem.
    What should I do after restart of iMac.
    Can I show in console for additionally info, but I haven't experiance with console.

  • Urgent Help : Workflow Problem

    Siebel 8.0
    I am working on EAI workflows. I am using Siebel Tools Simulator and also the Business Service Simulator to test my workflows. However I am facing some issues.
    I am not able to simulate my new workflows. However all the older workflows are working fine. Below are the steps that I take to simulate the workflows:
    1. Create a workflow in Siebel tools and click the publish/activate button. Check if its status changed to Completed.
    2. Open Siebel Web Client > Sitemap > Admin-Business Service > Simulator.
    3. Process Name "Workflow Process Manager" and Method name "RunProcess"
    4. Under Input Arguments: Property Name "ProcessName" and Property Value "WORKFLOW NAME"
    5. Click the run button.
    At this point I get error as:
    Siebel
    Cannot execute workflow process definition 'Test EAI Workflow 4'.(SBL-BPR-00158)
    OK
    However the older workflows work fine with the same approach. I am able to Simulate. Even I copied the existing workflows (that I am able to Simulate) but they dont work either. :(

    Hi,
    You need to activate the new workflows u have created. If u want to test the workflow in thin client, then manually import the workflow in active workflow process and try to simulate.
    This error will occur if the workflow is not "ACTIVE" in the active workflow process under Administration - Business Process.

    We'd better check to see if some other application has stashed old versions of QuickTime componentry down in your system files.
    So we'll go looking for the older QuickTime componentry in the most common locations for it to be stashed.
    First we'll need to change some view settings.
    In your Start menu, open Computer.
    In your Organise menu, select Folder Options.
    In the View tab, make sure that "Show hidden files and folders" is selected, and Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
    Click OK.
    Now in Computer, open your C:\ drive (or whichever drive you have your operating system installed on).

    If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, open the "System32" folder.

    What files and folders can you see in there with QuickTime in the title? (In a standard installation of Quicktime you should be seeing precisely two files ... QuickTime.qts and QuickTimeVR.qtx ... and no QuickTime folders whatsoever.)

    Would you please let us know current situation of this issue? Did you refer to Binu Kumar's suggestion and check SharePoint on the SBS server? Any find?
    I also suggest that you should run
    SBS BPA tool to check the status of the SBS server. Meanwhile, please run
    sfc /scannow command to scan all protected system files.
    If any update, please feel free to let us know.

    My DBA asked me to change the table name from SA_AWARDS to SAFETY_AWARDS.
    I had already developed a report using table name SA_AWARDS.
    When I change the table name in my report to SAFETY_AWARDS, I get compilation errors.
    How can I fix it ?

    As i understand your problem , you have changed the table name in the query wizard and then tried to compile and it is giving errors ....
    well anytime you modify the sql (even add a space) the column names are renamed ... ie if you originaly had column Customer_name it would be renamed as customer_name1 ....
    now if in the original report you are using the columns for any computation etc it will not find the old column and will give compilaiton errors .... one way is to change the column names back to original names ... or better modify the sql once more by adding space and you will get back the original names most of the times .....
    the best way to avoid this is give alias name in the sql first time around , so it dosnt create problems ....
    once you take care of this i think your problem should be solved .....
