Workflow process definition for iLearning

All,
we're currently investigating how to hook into iLearning to put "notifications" into an "outbox" db table.
This is for integrating with an SMS system.
We've read the documentation that spesifies which notifications are available from iLearning (as email and web pages).
On Metalink, we've found the Note 227583.1.
Here, a wf_ila_process.wft file is reffered.
Can someone please provide us with this file.
Our iLearning version is 5.0.
Any help highly appreciated :)
Regards,
Jøran

  • Cannot execute workflow process definition

    Hi,
I am new to Siebel. We are researching on Siebel Public Sector Case screens.
I have installed Siebel Client & Tools and defined the Debug configurations in the Tools. When I hit F5 in Tools, the Client loads. However, when I click on the Eligibility button on the Case screen I am rendered the error: *"cannot execute workflow process definition 'PUB Eligibility Determination Workflow'. (SBL-BPR-00158)"*.
Browsing through the Administration - Business Process -> Workflow Monitor, I noticed that none of the Workflows (available in the Tools) are getting displayed. Please let me know if there is any configuration that I might have missed out.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
In case this is a new installation of Siebel, by default Workflow processes are not activated on the Server. As a result you will face the mentioned error.
In this case just go to the Administration - Business Process -> Workflow Deployment -> Repository Workflow Processes and in the top applet query for the Workflow causing the error. Also query for the same in the lower applet as well. If there is no record in the lower applet or if the Repository Version in the lower applet is not matching to that on the upper applet, you need to click on the Activate button on the Top applet to enable the latest version on the server.
By Check In process it means that you check-out i.e. lock a particular object for exclusive modification and then checking it in i.e. publishing the changes onto the server for all the other developers.

  • Remove Unused Process Tasks from Process Definition for Export

    Hi Everyone,
I am trying to delete a process task that is no longer used in the process definition of our resource; however, I get an error indicating the "The task cannot be deleted it has schedule items". I would like to export the connector without this particular process task. Can anyone please provide any suggestions on how I can do this? Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Many thanks,
    Wendell

    Hi,
As per my knowledge you cannot delete a process task, if the associated resource object has been provisioned to a user and the task which you wants to delete has been executed atleast once.
But you can very well delete a newly created process task with which no user has been provisioned.
Having said this, the workaround for your problem will be as follows.
1.Remove all the adapters, task dependecies, status mapping, etc from the task (in current env)and make sure that it doesn't get invoked in any scenario.
2.Now export this process definition to the new environment and before provisioning any user to that specified resource object , delete all the unwanted process task and save the process task.
Hope this will solve your problem

  • Adding workflow process owners for Scenarios/Versions and Entities

Hi. I want to add managers and their email addresses for each combination of Scenarios/Versions and each Entity member.
I see when I'm in the Application I can go into File | Workflow , Manage Process I can see that under the "Current Owner", each entity is showing "Not Available".
How can I add these owner(s) for ech entity so that a process can be started for each entity and the next higher person in management gets notified?
    Thanks!

The administrator or the user with the admin access initiates the workflow for each entity and assigns to a person. So that person becomes the owner. After he completes he promotes it to the next level. Only the current owner will have the access to that particular entity. The process continues.

  • Workflow Process - Leave of Absence in R12

    Hey guys,
I am trying to find out the workflow process name for the Leave of Absence process using the FND FUNCTION Name.
Previously in 11i you were able to find out the process name (pProcessName=HR_LOA_JSP_PRC) using the parameters field in the function definition screen.
    pProcessName=HR_LOA_JSP_PRC&pItemType=HRSSA&pCalledFrom=HR_LOA_SS&pPersonID=&pFromMenu=Y
But the parameters field in 12i has a reference to a Generic process name.
Any Idea how to find the process name? I had heard that the architecture had changed? so anyone has any idea or doc or metalink note on this?

There seems to some kind of change of concept with respect to some of the workflows.
Found the below text from the workflow developer guide.
Self Service Generic Approval Process (HR_GENERIC_APPROVAL_PRC) - This approval process supplied by Oracle Self-Service Human Resources is used across HRMS products such as Oracle iRecruitment, Oracle Training administration, Oracle Talent Management (Appraisal), and others, as well as by Oracle Self-Service Human Resource. The Self Service Generic Approval Process provides extensive capability including the features delivered through the Notification Process for Approvers and Notifiers. This generic approval process can be invoked directly from BC4J Java code by passing mandatory attributes for AME callback. Also it provides callbacks for dynamic notification message subject generation with product specific-callbacks.

  • Interrupt workflow process in process controlled workflow

    Hello experts,
In a custom requirement, we need to interrupt the workflow process.
For example, if we have 4 levels of approval. After the 2nd approver has approved the shopping cart, then the workflow process should be kept on hold. Based on a custom interface result, if the condition from another interface is satisfied, then the shopping cart should appear in 3rd approver's UWL.
I tried with triggering interrupt method of class /SAPSRM/cl_wf_apv_facade in save BADI of shopping cart. But it did not work.
Please let me know how can i interrupt the workflow process till some custom condition is satisfied.
    Regards,
    Yayati Ekbote

Quite often this kind of requirements can be fulfilled by using wait steps in the workflow. One example could be that you put a "wait for event" step in your workflow template. Then you could trigger this event from your interface (or whatever) with function module SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.
Maybe I should ask that how do you know that the condition has been fulfilled? Is it a field in a certain table, or? If yes, instead of the "wait for event" step, you could also wait that your condition is fulfilled (a field in your table gets value X). Just take a look into the workflow template and its step types. Wait step is the way to go.
Of course it might be possible that in the SRM/shopping cart workflows, there is already something built-in, which can be then utilized by using some of the BADIs, but if you cannot find anything from the documentation, then choose one of the above-mentioned approaches.

  • OIM - 'Task Effect' in Process Definition - Task Properties

    Hi all,
I am trying to understand the drop-down selection 'Task Effect' on the General tab of Process Definition - Task Properties.
On page 7-18 of the Design Console docs it says:
"When the disable action is chosen, all tasks associated with the disable action are inserted."
Can someone elaborate on this? If I have four tasks, each with a Task Effect of 'disable', will they all fire if one of them does?
Any hints, or documentation references, would be greatly appreciated. I am using OIM 9.0.3, btw.

  • Process Definition Export

    Helllo All,
I am trying to export the process definition for AD resource. I have few tasks in them which I do not want to export.
    How can I do that?
When I select Process and AD user in the export window, it does not give me an option to select or deselect all the tasks associated with it. It just shows me the process task adapter.
    Thanks.

You cant drop out 1 or more tasks from PD while exporting , Process definition is exported as a whole .
If you want to delete some tasks , then you will have first delete them before export and then task a export
    Thanks

  • Issue Setting Resource Attributes via Workflow Process

I'm currently trying to set resource attributes via a workflow process, but for whatever reason the attribute is not detected as "changed" and the update object has nothing about the attribute. I'm wondering if I'm just doing something wrong with the way I'm setting it, or if I'm missing a piece to apply the upate.
    What I'm doing is...
    1. Checking out the user view
    2. updating the attribute via code something like this...
    <set name='user.accounts[ldap].attributeIWantToChange'>
    Logic in here
    </set>
    3. then I'm checking the view back in.
Anyone know why this isn't working(I can set other attributes like waveset.roles fine this way)?
    Edited by: UNO-AD-HM on Jul 6, 2009 12:54 PM

Figured it out, have to load a different form in when I check the view out, the tabbed user's form will not update resource attributes.

    Ok.
This is my BPEL code. The sapattern tags are from a program that is generating part of the code. The JDeveloper doesn't show any error, I only get the error when I try to deploy.

  • Error developing a task for workflow processing

I made a very simple workflow to try to process an IDoc. First I took a look at what seems to be the SAP standard example of a workflow that processes IDocs (workflow WS20000378 - ORDERS - Incoming orders with workflow), tested it to verify it works, then took one step from that (the step that processes the IDoc) into a new workflow, checked the bindings between workflow container and task, then activated it and bound it to an inbound process code.
When I try to process an IDoc using the test tool, after setting up the partner profile correctly, it informs me that:
"IDoc inbound: Container definition for task WS90100001 has errors".
And the exact reason stated is:
    (1) : The container definition does not contain the parameter 'IDOC_PACKET'.
    (2) : The container element is not defined as an object type.
    (3) : No object type could be determined for the container element 'IDOC_PACKET'.
Well I had already added the element IDOC_PACKET to the workflow container, and I have checked that it is defined exactly the same way as for the example workflow, but it just doesn't work.
    Any suggestions how to proceed?
    Kind regards,
    Tony.

    Hi Tony,
Sounds odd, should work. Just to discount any buffering, run tx SWU_OBUF and click on refresh. Failing that, try logging off from SAP and back on (don't laugh, it's done the job for some bizarre ones before).
Alternatively, copy WS20000378 (which works) to a new flow and delete all the steps you don't need.
    Cheers
    Mike

  • Looking for screen to change Supplier User Registr.. workflow process name

    Hi,
The question relates to Supplier User Management.
Does anybody know if there is a page where you can pickup the workflow (the shipped one has internal name POS_REG) process name for supplier registration?
    Thank you.
    Anatoliy

    Hi Bala
What enhancements were you adding to the Workflow Reassign/Delegate feature, which included being able to add comments? A good idea is to look for any differences between how workflow implements the reassign feature, and your customization.
Also, make sure you only use the Public documented PL/SQL APIs and do not update the tables directly to ensure no Support or Upgrade Issues.
    Cheers
    Mark
I am using Stand alone Workflow 2.6, In my workflow process
which is an Issue tracking system which is working fine. On Enhancement I would like to create my own RE-ASSIGN function which will, Change the ownership of an issue totally to other user.
For this I Created a package(CHANGE_OWNER.CREATE)which will show list of Users and Comment field(Just like Re-Assign).
Here user can pick other user, and add comment,
once submit for that Item key I am updating the workflow notification table so that paritcular issue ownership will be changed.
In my workflow process I created a lookup code called "Change Owner". On click of Change Owner it will call the Function
in workflow process which will call CHANGE_OWNER.CREATE, here
the workflow process supposed to wait and get the User to be
changed. BUT THE PROCESS IS NOT WAITING, IT JUST DISPLAYED THE
SCREEN AND CONTINUED THE WORKFLOW PROCESS. I WANT THE MY
WORKFLOW PROCESS TO BE ACT AS RE-ASSINGN BUTTON WHICH WILL WAIT
    FOR THE USER INPUT.
    HOW TO DO IT.
    Thanks
    Bala.
