Workflow Scenario Required

Hi Friends,
I have been asked to cook up a workflow scenario which should be at the most complicated. Can anyone here suggest me such a scenario?.
Prompt replies would be rewarded.
Thanks,
Saravanan.D

Hi Pavan,Saumya,
                       Thanks for the replies.
I have maintained agent assignment u2018general tasku2019 for the task. I have refreshed the organizational environment and synchronized runtime buffer. But still the FM results in error.
Does the user need administrator settings to update the work item?

  • SAP Workflow Scenarios

    Dear all,
We are planning to implement SAP workflow, for the creation of material master and info record of the materials. We are using SAP 4.7 version. Can you give me any idea or hint about how we can configure these cases. Is there any standard workflow on SAP?  If you can also send me documents or web address would be appreciate.
    Thank you for your help

Yes there is and you might not need any help from a workflow professional if you are trying to keep it simple

  • Setting up inspection point in a scenario require more than one inspection

    Hi all,
Maybe I am still not very clear on the PP-QM conceptu2026 hope you can see my problem on the following questionu2026..
According to SAP in the QM-production environment, we key in ONE inspection point in the task list header level (i.e. either the master recipe, routing, or rate of routing).
Based on the following business scenario which is going to use inspection point for the inspection:
u2022     Time-based intervals (for example, an inspection point every hour or for each work shift)
u2022     Quantity-based intervals (for example, an inspection point for each container)
u2022     Freely-defined intervals (for example, an inspection point each time a tool change occurs)
Since each of the above scenarios require more than one inspection points to be created and to be assigned to the task list header.
Thus, how to accomplish multiple inspection point assignment when the task-list header only allow me to assign one inspection point at a time?
    Thanks
    YY

    Hi guys,
Thanks. However, in the SAP help portal it does said the system allows several inspection points to be assigned to an inspection operation whether it is in routing or recipe.
Therefore, does it means I can assign more than one inspection points in the operation detail level for either recipe or routing if I will to click the u201CNo relationu201D radio button in the u201CQuality Management: Inspection Pointu201D section. (i.e. is this is the right place to allows this assignment)?
For example, on the change master recipe screen at the Operation tab, I highlight one line item (i.e. one operation line item and zoom into this operation line item, I donu2019t see any field box that allow me to assign several inspection points to an operation? Instead, on the u201CQuality Management: Inspection Pointu201D section, there are the following fields appear:
    - Insp.pointCompletion dropdown box
    - 4 radio buttons on the inspection interval (ie. Time-related, Qty-related, No-relation) and its subseq time and quantity value input box.
    - Quan.pt. lot checkbox
    - Last Part Lot Assgmt checkbox
Thus, where is the section in the operation overview screen at Master Recipe or Routing level that I can assign several inspection points?
    Thanks

  • Re: Pre-Configured Workflow Scenarios

    Hi All,
I came to know through the SAP Documentation that some pre-configured Workflow scenarios are available in especially in IDES environment.
I'm looking for some pre-configured Workflow scenarios in ECC environment related to Item/Material/Product create. Please let me know where I can find more information on this and how to consume/use these pre-configured Workflow scenarios.
    Thank you
    Surender

    David/Andy:
Really good points guys. I certainly am not saying Motion should be like AE. I am not starting a thread that is a comparison of the two. Each has it's own workflow, and Andy I think you bring up a really good point. I rarely use clones but they are a powerful tool in the right circumstance. I am curious about more complex design workflows and how some of us push the limits.
David, I agree with your point about keeping Motion simple. Apple is proficient at keeping their software/hardware simple. Software that serves one purpose, or devices that have only a few buttons. The elegance is what we all like.
Additionally, to your point Andy, we can do things withOUT precoming in Motion. Just keeping things in layers is good enough really. Like I said, I'm not really an AE user, but I do understand the concepts. I like the idea of a pre-rendered portion of the animation. Just seems to take the processor intensive portions out of creating complex animations. Moreover I think I am just wondering if I could create more complex animations WITH some of the design workflows that AE offers (like pre-rendering).
At the end of the day I feel like I can do SO much with Motion, and have wiggle room to play around more. I'm definitely excited about a new version of Motion, and to see what sort of new features make it in. Perhaps nodal workflows, perhaps more 3D design tools... we'll see.

    - for this i need to configure the UWL in my EP portal ,,which i did using workflowconnector
    - But i wanna knw from where the workitems .The table rows(records created) is accumulated ,,eg in tasks..
Is the data should (sample records /tasks)be populated in the backend itself or from the portal i can create.....
I dont have any ABAP knowledge to work at the Backend R/3,,how to fill it there
any other way which is available
I need sample tasks/records to be filled in the UWL iview under tasks.notifications etc how can i fill?
I request you to give me sample simple  scenario  with all the steps

    Hello,
Normally for a workflow you would look in the Workflow Builder to see if the agent is assigned using a container element.

  • Workflow scenario

    Here is a workflow scenario
Two edit stations with multiple internal SATA drives. Each always working on different projects.
These different projects are reviewed by multiple reviewers.
The editors never need to exchange primary representations (clips) so each edit station would hold there own clips.
Reviewers would need to see the thumbnails and proxies of source footage as well as edited sequences from both edit stations.
So to support this working arrangement I would install FCserver on a computer used only for FCserver. I would locate the Proxy Media Location on a hard drive attached to this computer. Then locate the Production Media Location on one of the media discs of one of the edit stations.
After install of Fcserver I would then go and setup more devices to the other hard drives of the two edit stations so that the primary representation would stay in place on those drives as each editor ingested there clips.
A new project would be created on FCserver for each new FCP project. The editors would make a watch automation that would be setup to add the clips metadata to the FCserver catalog from the FCP capture scratch folder for that project. But the primary representation would not move, as they are already located on a Library/Media device. Another watch automation would upload files placed in a folder that holds other information like scripts, stills even Motion project files and SndTrk Pro project files.
The proxies and thumbnails would be generated from the hard drives attached to the two edit stations and written to the Proxy Media Location attached to the FCserver where the reviewers would have access to them.
This way there is little network traffic as the larger primary representations don't get moved anywhere until they are archive. Fcserver is the only computer that has access to the edit stations. And the reviewer can see all the relevant files.
A simple question here is where are the primary representation held, the Media folder or the Library folder.

  • Workflow scenario help

    Hi experts,
i have attached a workflow scenario i created.
i used the flow condition and my purpose is for invoice to be created only if the Delivery has been approved.
i used the authorisation status and set it to dasapproved.
    CurrentProcess.B1Obj('dataObject7').getAuthorizationStatus().toString()==='dasApproved'
But it does not do that when i get to delivery it stops
And the status showing is completing.
Can anyone help me out on how to edit to achieve my purpose.
    Urgent Help is needed.

    Hi Justice,
From your screenshot, there are 2 routes between delivery and invoice. You need to clear it to leave only one.

  • How to export testcases/scenarios/requirements from OTM repository/folder?

    Hi Folks,
Is there any provsion to export testcases/scenarios/requirements from OTM repository/folder?
Edited by: OATS Explorer on Feb 20, 2012 5:55 AM

    Hi Sree,
You can export details of test, requirements etc to an excel file from the Reports tab. You can create your own report with your choice of fields and then export. The Win32 Test Manager client gives you the option of exporting a Project to xml.

  • Scenario required for sd route and mm route

    Dear Guru
There is two process for stock transfer order one is SD route and 2nd one is mm route
can you please explain the differnce between these rout
and what is the scenario required for sd route and mm route
it means in which scenario we use sd route for stock transfer and in which scenario we use mm route for stock transfer
    Thanks in advance
    Kashyap

    Kashyup,
I am not aware of 'SD Route vs MM Route'.  They are the same Route.
STO is basically a special kind of Purchase order.  Purchase orders are part of the MM module. In order to permit shipping goods from one plant to another, SAP has 'borrowed' some of the functionality from the SD module.
During Configuration of Stock Transport orders, you assign a Customer (Shipto), Sales org, and Distribution channel to the receiving plant.  When creating a STO, the system uses these data to determine the Route.
Route contains info that the system uses to plan movement of goods from one location to another location in the SD module.  The route contains duration information (how long does it take to move goods from warehouse to customer location), factory calendar, and perhaps some other data.  In the case of an SD order, the system will find the customer for the Sales doc, the default shipping conditions for the customer, and using this information together with the region of the shipping point, will determine a route.
This same determination procedure is also used during creation of a STO.  The system will take the STO customer from STO configuration, and the default shipping conditions for that customer, and using this information together with the region of the shipping point, will determine a Route.  The same determination procedure used by SD sales orders.
When you are setting up your master data, and you have decided what the duration of transport time should be, it is important that your planned delivery time in your info records or in your material master be consistent with your shipping duration (pick/pack/route time).  This makes the execution (creation and shipment of STOs) stay consistent with planning (creation of STO purchase reqs) as far as timing is concerned.
If your STOs use Deliveries, then the shipping information in the STO that was determined during creation (customer, shipping point, route, etc) will be copied to the delivery during delivery creation.
