Workflow template - WS72100012 not available in 6.1 - MDGF

Hello Michael
As per your suggestion I tried to replicate the PC and CC hierarchy using workflow - WS72100012. The problem is, workflow template WS72100012 is not available in the system (MDG 6.1).Can you please suggest how to use this template?
Kiran

Hi Kiran,
actually there is no standard workflow, at least from SAP's point of view. We deliver multiple workflow templates to give you basic ideas what you could do - and sometimes what you have to do - w.r.t. to workflows and related processes.
Still the workflow has to fit to your customer's needs. The tool itself is very flexible so that you can design and model a workflow that exactly fulfills the customer's requirements and that includes in special circumstances mandatory or strictly recommended steps by SAP.
So if you do not want to use WS72100012, but you want to use IDOc based replication on MDG-F hierarchies, you should include the tasks of WS72100012 being responsible for the replication in your custom template. Otherwise the replication might fail.
Best regards
Michael

  • Workflow template PE_Approve01 not being triggered when attendee is booked

    Hello
Have copied and configured the workflow template for approval of bookings. When i test the workflow from tcode swdd it is executed, but when i try and book an attendde for an event using tcode pv00 the workflow is not triggered. Is this the correct tcode that triggers the workflow or it needs ESS for it to work?

I hope you might be using the workflow template WS1200160 for approval booking for this workflow tempalte you have to activate the event linkage between the BOR event PDRELA_025  -> moveRequested if your requirement is to trigger the workflow for Pre booking  the you have to use the BOR event PDRELA_027  -> Created , all you have to do is ,
    1. Goto PFTC transaction, select the task type as workflow template.
    2. Mention the workflow template number open in chnage mode and clcik on the tab Triggering Events and select the BOR type  as BOR and BOR any one one of the above mentioned BOR's and any one of the events and activate the linkage by clicking on the buton present in the first column...

Yep, I'm assuming the same thing - bummer because if I could get my touch to do the "to do" lists, I could get rid of my palm pilot (since most of what I do on the palm pilot is calendar & to do).
Maybe after Feb. and the SDK gets released, someone will make a work-around (no idea why Apple wouldn't, though - b/c iCal is THEIR program).

  • Task Expiry in Workflow 2013 is not available

    Hi,
I'm using Designer Workflow 2013, in that i need to Start a Task process. In that there is no option for Task Expiry i can find only Due Date.
In Workflow 2010 there is an option for Task Expiry so if the task is not responded within specified amount of time i can able to perform some operation then it will continue with the workflow. But in Workflow 2013 there is no option for Task Expiry.
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ahamed

    Hi Ahamed,
I still recommend to use SharePoint 2010 workflow instead.
If you want to use 2013 workflow, I recommend to create another workflow and use retention policy to start the workflow when the due date expires.
The workflow can be created like the image below(as only due date needs to be changed, we can update the due date and send notification with the task URL to the user):

  • Sharepoint 2013 Workflow not available on Site created from Sharepoint 2013 Foundation Solution Template

If I create a template on SharePoint 2013 Foundation, then create a site on SharePoint Enterprise (or Office/365) fully configured to support SharePoint 2013 workflows. When I access the site through SharePoint Designer 2013, and attempt to create a workflow
SharePoint 2013 Workflows are not available -- you get message that SharePoint 2013 Workflow platform is not available because it is not configured on the server. This appears to be a bug in SharePoint Designer as the 2013 Workflows are available on the team
site on the same site collection. There is no reason that a site created from a SharePoint 2013 foundation template should have this restriction.   To make matters worse if you then save that site as a template on the SharePoint 2013 Enterprise (or
Office/365) system and create a new site from the that template you get the same issue.
Anyone know a workaround/fix to this issue.   Have imported the template into Visual Studio but I can not find any way in Visual Studio to enable SharePoint 2013 workflows.   A solution that involves Visual Studio import would work fine
    for me.
    Earllibby

Apparently you did not read my question very carefully.   The workflow manager is configured properly on this server and for the basic Team site in this site collection the full SharePoint 2013 workflows are available in SharePoint Designer 2013.
BUT they are not available on another site in the SAME SITE COLLECTION that was created from a solution template that was created on a SharePoint Foundation server.

  • Office 365 : SharePoint designer workflow platform not available

    Hi,
We have Office 365 E3 subscription and I am facing issue creating any SP2013 designer workflow for the sites created via Custom Web Templates ?
The option to create designer workflow with "SharePoint 2013 Workflow platform" is unavailable with message..
"The option for SharePoint 2013 Workflow platform is not available because the workflow service is not configured on the server, please contact your server administrator"
To add to the issue even if we create 2010 designer workflow, the workflow does not get associated with the list/library. I can see the workflow in SharePoint designer but not with library settings from the browser and of course the workflow is not executed.
Can anyone please suggest any solution ?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Workflow template not shown in list workflow setting

I created a new list, a new site content type, and new reusable workflow. The site content type is added to the list.
Worked fine at the Dev environment.
Deployed the workflow to UAT environment as WSP file and list as a list template.
In UAT, a new site content type is created and added to the list.
The WSP was activated and feature enabled. But the workflow is not associated with the site content type, instead associating with all site content type.
Then use copy and modify to associate the workflow with the right content type. It works. Save and publish the workflow.
Go to List, Workflow settings, click on Add a Workflow, the workflow template is not shown in the workflow template drop-down. Even when the associated content type is all, the workflow should display in the workflow template drop-down in list workflow settings.
Save and publish the workflow a couple of times, ususally the issue will be resolved. But not this time..
    Please help!! Thanks a lot!!

    Hi Prabhakar ,
just give a try for following program .
Use program RHMOVE30 - enter object type WS, and your WF number. Use eval path TASKHIER.
Use the dropdown on the request parameter to create a transport request.
When you get the result list, make sure your task is selected for transport then use the option to include it in the Transport.
You should then be able to go to txn SE09 and see your task has been assigned to the transport.
You can then transport your task.

    Hi,
I just upgraded a SP site from 2010 to 2013. And have turned on performance point services etc at both the site collection and site level. However, When I try to create a Business Intelligence subsite, that template is not available for me to select. Any
ideas of what I can do to fix this issue?

Verify if PerformancePoint is correctly associated with the web application. Refer to the following post for more information.

  • "There are no workflows templates available" error but actually workflow exist

I am using SharePoint 2013 on-premise farm. The workflow manager 1.0 is installed although we do not build any workflow on that.
On a site collection, when user try to create a workflow on "Pages" library, the error "There are no workflows templates available" occur. Checking ULS log there is nothing useful
Microsoft.SharePoint.SPException: There are no workflows templates  available. Please contact helpdesk     at  Microsoft.SharePoint.WorkflowServices.ApplicationPages.AddWrkflPage.OnLoad(EventArgs  e)
at System.Web.UI.Control.LoadRecursive()      at  System.Web.UI.Page.ProcessRequestMain(Boolean  includeStagesBeforeAsyncPoint, Boolean includeStagesAfterAsyncPoint)
By using SharePoint Designer 2013 we can see the workflows "Publishing approval" exist. I clicked on "Publish" button on SharePoint Designer, the problem is fixed. User can see the workflow "Publishing approval" when he try
to create a workflow on "Pages" library.
However, some hours later user call and said the problem recoccur. I checked with Designer the workflow still exist and no change for "Last modified time". If I clicked on "Publish" again it will fix again.
    My question is,
How can we check whether a workflow have been published? Any parameter?
How can we "unpublish" a workflow?
Any event could "unpublish" of a workflow?
Many thanks. Any input is welcome.

    Hi,
According to your description, you are unable to get the workflows "Publishing approval" template in SharePoint UI.
Make sure you have activate the Publishing Approval Workflow feature. If you have activate the Publishing Approval Workflow feature, deactivate it and active it again.
Site Settings -> Site Collection Administration ->Site collection features ->activate Publishing Approval Workflow feature.
1.How can we check whether a workflow have been published? Any parameter?
We can check whether the workflow is existing in the SharePoint UI.
2.How can we "unpublish" a workflow?
Under normal circumstances, we aren’t "unpublish" a workflow.
3.Any event could "unpublish" of a workflow?
Deactivate the feature which is related to the workflow.

  • Can't convert desktop to template because it's not 'available'

I have a desktop that I want to convert to a template. When I try I get this error:
"Unable to Convert Desktop to Template
Could not convert desktop 'test' to a template. The desktop state must be Available and the machine state must the Powered Off to convert a desktop to a template."
The desktop is powered off, but it's status says idle. Does anybody know how I force it to change to 'available'.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Is the desktop still assigned to the user?
It may also be depend on how the desktop was connected. If the desktop is personally assigned to a user it will remain idle after power off/log out. To make it 'available' again you may want to remove the assignment.
In case the assignment is flexible(i.e. the pool is assigned to the user) , Desktop will get recycled after the idle timeout is reached and will become available again.

  • Not Able to see Workflow Template in 4.6c

    Hello Experts,
I am working on 4.6C version. I have a strange problem, when i use the transaction SWDD, i am not able to insert the workflow template say WFXXXXX but in the pop up if i press WF Definition then i am able to see the template. If i directly press enter(Insert) in the pop up screen then it is saying Workflow Template doesn't exist.
Can any one of you please help me in this. One more doubt, is it possible to Retrieve WF Template if it is deleted by mistake in 4.6C??.
    Thanks a lot in advance....
    Rgds,
    Mohan

    Hi Jagan,
The workflow template is by naming convension WSxxxxxxxx. Please try using this and check if you find the template.
Also you can trace the workflow template in t-code PFTC. Select WS Workflow Template and give your workflow template ID. It would give you the details of your workflow.
    Hope this helps!

  • SAP templates use BAPIs not available in 4.7

We are trying to use the SAP module library templates for PP - We are running 4.7 and do not have access to BAPIs BAPI_PRODORD_GET_LIST or BAPI_PRODORD_GET_DETAIL, two of the BAPIs used in that template.
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

If these BAPIs were not available in 4.7, then you would probably have to create them.  But I was pretty sure the Production Order BAPIs were in existence then.  You may want to post on a different board when some more savvy ECC folks would chime in.  Are you sure you don't need the Process Order BAPIs?   For BAPI_PROCORD_GET_LIST and its fellows were not released until ECC 5.5 (I think).
    Regards  and Good luck!
