Workflows not shown in the front end but exists in LDAP

Hi
In my OAM application, Workflows are not shown in the front end but exists in LDAP. Any idea how the workflows are displayed on the front end.
due to this not there in production, when i tried to create a user, it says i donot have access rights.
When i try to create and add workflows in the LDAP, the server rejects with the following error:

In my OAM application, Workflows are not shown in the front end but exists in LDAP. Any idea how the workflows are displayed on the front end.

Edit the targetNamespace to any name less than 60 chars and they try again

There's an Apple help page on the DNS problem - at http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3408
The first thing to try is changing your DNS settings - and for that you need to open System Preferences, then the
Network section.
In Network - click on Advanced - then the DNS tab
under DNS servers - use the + button to enter two extra lines
either these, from google dns
8.8.8.8
8.8.4.4
or from OpenDNS
208.67.222.222
208.67.220.220
then click OK & then 'Apply'
You would need to do that seperately for the Cable (Ethernet) settings and Wireless (Airport)

Data not reflecting in the front end after hiring from PA48

Hi,
I am doing the data transfer process from the webdynpro application. The candidate to be hired is getting reflected in PA48,and once the hiring is done and I run HRALXSYNC, the status is still red. Can anybody suggest what else needs to be done, so that the employee details are reflected in the front end.

Forward navigation does not work in the Front-end new editor

I just upgraded my GUI to 7.20 Patch level 3 (highest available), and when I use the new Front-end editor, the forward navigation by double clicking does not seem to work. When I double click on a perform statement, the editor takes me to the sub-routine. However, when I double click on a perform on the sub-routine, it goes back to the first one. I saw the following thread

and still does not show any solution. It does work when I switch to the Old Front-end editor.
Any thought or solution, other than switching to Old Front-end editor.

Thanks for the response. But it is not the issue. I found the problem. This is a system issue and has been fixed in SP19. There is an OSS Note 1279209 that explains the problem and the solution, if you are interested.

Vendor Help is not Displaying in the Front end Screen

Iam Working in SRM 5.0, Extended Classic Scenario.
I have Replicated all the Vendors & Materials from ECC to SRM. While Iam trying to create SC, if i select the Preferred Vendor Search Help iam getting the vendor Pop Up Screen in that i have all the vendors which got replicated from the ECC to SRM. If i select a vendor which is related to the same Purchasing Org. its not coming into my Input box, but an error msg is displaying saying that.. "No vendor assigned" & "No vendors/contracts/info records exist". Can any one help me in this, its very urgent.

FTP folder location is not showing in the production server but exist in the development server.

a wired glitch in my SSIS 2005 package in production server where the FTP folder location is not showing but its existing in my laptop version
EX: - t01/app/_res folder
When i open the package from the production server "_res" is not showing within the remote path in the file transfer task.
but "_res" folder is shown in my development environment.
I tried with winscp FTP software in the production sever , and was able to access the "_res" location through the FTP software. What could this be? a BIDS sofitware version issue???

When you open the package on the production server, do you mean opening it with your Windows account from BIDS on that server? Ff the ftp connection in the package has a password it will have been stored in your laptop when you designed the package. when
you deployed the pacakge on the server as a file and open it with BIDS then the password will be gone. You would have to go into the package ftp connection properties, reassign your password and save the connection and the package again.

There is a Crystal report , .rpt File inbuilt in the Add-on .
This report runs well from the Source Code .
But i am facing problem , since it is not Opening at the Front End after registration of the Add0n.
Suggest what to do ?

Dear Rahul ,
In my system , there is a Addon , which has some crystal Report file inbuilt .
Which run on the Button Click event in the Form at the Front End (SAP GUI).
When we debug the Source Code and pass the event . . Report Open with no hurdle.
But the Same thing when we do at the From END of SAP , then it is not Returning any Report.

Diagram Not getting displayed on the Front End UI in SSM 7.5

Hello ,
We are running SSM 7.5 SP 04. We uploaded a custom image using diagram manager for the required context in the administration UI. The image is uploaded successfully. But , when I open the strategy tab for my context in the front end UI , I am getting a "HTTP 500 Page cannot be displayed error".
I restarted the listeners and the JPIP sessions as well. But still the error persists. Please advise.

It is possible to successfully upload a strategy map into Diagram Manager and still not see it in the User Interface. After loading the goal diagram has to be Published To Server. You do that in Diagram Manager.
You can upload a strategy map and Save that in Strategy Default in Administrator Interface, but unless you Publish it, it will not be exposed to the end users.
In the Set Strategy Defaults area of the Administrator Interface, in the Create or Edit Goal Diagrams section. The Goal Diagram you loaded should have a Publish Date next to it. If it says Not Published, you need to Edit that Goal Diagram in Diagram Manager,
In Diagram Manager under FILE at the top, choose Publish to Server.
You now should see a Publish Date in the Administrator interface and Saving it will now make it available on the user side.

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

Updated attribute not showing up in the Front End

I have to update an attribute column based on some conditions.
Even though I have updated, the updated value is not showing up in the front end
Moreover if I go to Diagnostics-> Examine and then query the attribute value I can see the updated Result
What can be the reason...

In the rpd , I have imported 2 new tables to the exisiting connection pool from 2 diferent schemas and used those 2 tables to the existing model in the physical layer and given joins .
I did everything till the presentation layer and when I am trying to pull data from the added table in the front end it is giving me error saying that the oject does not exist.
Also I tried to see the data in the physical layer in rpd and the same error came up
Any solutions please

Seriously: I am genuinely interested in why members of the BI and eBS community with no history of using the APEX forum persistently use this as a dumping ground for off-the-wall requests. If we can find this out then there might be a (remote) possibility of getting something changed on OTN to prevent it and avoid wasting everyone's time.

My project is set up with "rotation" menu intro, video, and then "rotation" on end, however, when you put DVD disc in DVD player, menu does not come up on front end, it goes straight to the video. Is there some step I am missing?

Open your iDVD project and go into the Map mode. Made sure the autostart bin on the left is empty.

If you find a video in that bin remove it, save the project as a disk image and check the disk image with DVD Player. Then you can burn the disk image to disk with Disk Utilitiy at 4x for optimal burning.

"No administrator found for the task" in the front end

Hi all,
My issue is, whenever approval request is raised from the front end ( JAVA WEB-DYNPRO), it triggers the workflow through the "sap_wapi_start_workflow" and when the workflow proceeds to the first level of approval, the front end application provides the approver with Approve and Reject options.
On click of approve, from the java webdynpro, the approve status is written in the container using "sap_wapi_write_container" and then a call is made to "sap_wapi_workitem_complete". Upon excution, the message line is "No administrator found for the task" and the return code is "1".
But if we do the same steps from the backend (R/3), the workitem is getting completed without any such error.

Hi Balaji,
I think I have an answer for you. This has happened with us when approving a WD java task using UWL (in our case for travel). The key is the return code of 1.
What has happened is this. The return code actually comes from the function SWW_WI_STATUS_CHANGE_NEW which is called deep in the WAPI wrapper. It means "infeasible_state_transition = 1".
This is due to the fact that after updating the container, your wapi call from web dynpro tries to change the workitem from status of "Ready" to status "Completed". This will not work.
What you will have to do is call "SWW_WI_STATUS_CHANGE_NEW" to set the status to 'SELECTED' beofre setting the item to complete.
The reason for this is that when you are executing from R3, the status change is done for you. When calling from the WD, no reservation of the workitem occurs.
