Working in full screen mode

Hello,
When working in full scree mode, I notice that some of the photos appear indeed in full screen, but some apprear much smaller, even though they are from the same batch, and were shot under the same conditions. Why is that?
Is there a way to increase the size of the photo to really fill the screen (in full screen mode)

They are not vertical, and as far I can tell they are no different, shot with the same camera, the same day, same specifications.
Is there a way to ioncrease their size, so they fill the screen, as they should?

least, something that Aperture thinks is different.
Examine the properties carefully. They're not
verticals, are they?

Interactive rollover function isn't working in full screen mode.

I've created an interactive document with animation in Indesign CC.
Part of this document has menu bars that change to longer bars when rolled over. I export as an swf and then place that in a separate document to export to pdf. When I open it in Acrobat Pro XI everything works correctly...until I make it full screen. The text and images look fuzzy and low res and the roll over function on the menu bar doesn't work. Unless you click and drag over them, not hover.
Things I have tried:
Changing the document to A3, as it is currently A4 - no change.
Changing the resolution in both flash exporting options and interactive pdf exporting options. I've tried 72 dpi, 96dpi 110dpi (to match the acrobat settings) - still no change.
Have tried both multi state object method of changing the menu bar and a show/hide function - This hasn't made a difference either.
I've had a flick through Acrobat settings but I'm not sure what I am looking for.
The buttons used with the roller also have a on release or tap function to go to a destination as well as the rollover option. I'm not sure if this button having multiple actions might be affecting this as it seems to have no problems handling multiple interactive actions when not in full screen.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I would like to inform you that you need to use keyboard shortcut V to bring up the select tool (Ctrl-V does not work).
Also, you may try pressing the F8 key to un-hide the toolbar.

Visualizer has stopped working in full screen mode

Hi, since getting the 10.2/10.2.1 updates my full screen visualizer has stopped working. It works inside the iTunes window but when I make it full screen it just shows me a freezed frame of the visualizer, it does not move.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I have the same issue.... after going to full screen to windowed and then back to full screen it does plays normally.... won't Apple ever say anything about this?!? I'll have to downgrade to ver. 9 this way....

Annoying single page view in full screen mode

I have checked the “Enable Scrolling” in the “View/Page Display” menu to have a continuous page flow (with gaps between pages) and avoid page bouncing when moving from the bottom of a page to the top of the next page. It works as expected when in windowed mode but not in full screen mode.
- Why isn’t it possible to have continuous page flow (with gaps between pages) when in full screen mode? It is as if Adobe Reader disregards the “View/Page Display” menu preferences and always reverts to “Single Page View” when in full screen mode!
- Also it would be nice to have an option to display a vertical scroll bar to the extreme right of the screen in full screen mode to be able to quickly scroll the document.
These two features are the primary ones that make me still using Foxit-Reader instead of Adobe Reader albeit Foxit-Reader has a lower PDF rendering quality.

I have same problem.
In Full Screen Mode , most functions are *NOT* working. For example , Show/Hide Menu Bar , Show/Hide Toolbars etc. Even use keyboard shortcut , they just *NOT* working.
I am wondering is any chance to make Show/Hide Menu Bar , Show/Hide Toolbars working on Full Screen Mode ?
At least , please add some keyboard shortcut to change Page Display .

Full screen mode: How to switch between open windows?

Hi There,
Is there way to get CMD + ` working in full screen mode?
Other shortcuts like CMD + OPT [ ] to switch between open tabs and CMD + TAB to switch apps seem to work - but without the ability to switch between open windows within the same app, full screen mode is kind of useless.
Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated.
BTW I'm using Yosemite but the forums won't find a Yosemite community (not sure the community search is working properly)

Advanced Filter Behaves differently in Full screen mode

I have a power view report designed and published in SharePoint 2013. It has a filter on a text field -
I can filter it with filter conditions "contains" in regular view mode. But this same field is not editable in "Full Screen Mode". The Numeric filters work fine in "Full screen mode"
Is there any recommendations to fix this?

According to your description, you find the advanced filter in Power View is not working in Full screen mode. Right?
Unfortunately, this is a known and documented limitation of Silverlight, which does not support keyboard input in full screen mode. Please refer to a Microsoft feedback below:

When I open iTunes it will automatically go to full screen mode. I can't work out how to turn this off. Only iTunes opens to full screen mode.

Go to System Preferences (under the Apple logo in the menu bar). Choose "General". Click "Always close windows when quitting an application".
That should fix it.

Full screen mode PDF created on Mac not working on PC?

I've created a PDF presentation on a Mac in Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional with about 80 pages. I've set it to open in full screen mode when viewed, which works fine on Mac when tested. When opened on a PC however, in my clients corporate environment, it does not work? Has anyone else come across this problem or have any suggestions to remedy it? Could it be something to do with the system it is being opened on blocking full screen mode?

It appears Fullscreen mode is based on OS Specifications So you need to reopen on a PC version of Acrobat and set it again.
Looks like they could have both settings in both programs that is a Line that says set full screen mode for Mac PC Unix Linux set for all.

Full screen mode not working in Mountain Lion

I'm using the new Retina Macbook Pro. The full screen mode to preview pictures and movies is not working; the dock still remains open when the full screen is open. I have to manually hide the dock by pressing command + D and do the same to open the dock again. This doesnt seem to an OS issue because my Macbook Air, which is also running Mountain Lion is doing just fine. I can preview a picture and the dock automatically hides.
Has anyone experienced the same issue? What is the fix for this problem?

Bingo! Problem solved. I didn't realize that you could "right click" the mouse over the "resize" icon in full screen mode. When I did that I found I was in the tiny postcard mode. Selecting "full screen" got me back to where I used to be..enjoying the tv shows in full screen mode. Kinda of weird. Choosing "full screen" from the menu bar didn't make the show full "pictured" though I was in full screen mode. But while in the full screen mode, I could right-click and choose "full screen" and there I be, watching a show in "full pictured". Learned something new.

Full screen mode not working for original user

Whenever I go to start a full-screen mode in iTunes, iCal, Mail, etc. the program makes the default error sound and doesn't enter full screen. This appears in the console, but I'm not sure how to diagnose it:

Furthermore, apps like Mail and Safari get interface glitches, which require a restart of the program to fix.
However, the programs work fine in full screen on other user accounts, but I don't want to have to start a new one and move ~400GB of data between them. Is there any way of fixing this? I've also tried reseting permissions.

How do you exit out of full screen mode for FCPX? ESC does not work.

Hi guys. I cannot seem to find the exit to full screen viewing mode in final cut pro x. Escape key doesn't do the trick. There are no "exit full screen" buttons that pop up. It is confusing and I have to force quit the program every time I use full screen! Please help!

There are two full screen modes in FCP X when running in MacOS X Lion.
Fullscreen playback:
     Enter using the double arrow on the viewer or with command-shift-F.
     Exit with the Escape key.
Fullscreen editing:
     Enter using the double arrow on the top right of FCP X's windows or control-shift-F.
     Exit using escape or control-shift-F.
This is how it works for me.

Illustrator CC 17.1 don't works properly on Full screen mode

Hi
I'm trying Illustrator CC 17.1 under Mac OS X 1.8.5 with Mac Pro with two monitors Apple Cinema and NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 1536 MB Video Card.
Can't use it on Full Screen Mode because the hover effect use it to show tools and panels don't works o both sides and on both monitors.
Seems to be Illustrator CC don't support two monitors under full screen mode on Mac OS X.
Any suggestion?

Could you elaborate?
F is the default shorcut for »Change Screen Mode« for me, so I’m not sure what you want with the qualifier keys.
Have you changed your Edit > Keyboard Shortcut?

Everytime I go to full-screen mode the photo I am working on is on one space while the filmstrip is on another. Also there is no way to get to the menu on top as it is hidden. When I hit the f key everything goes to black and I have to quite the program.

You have to change the cursor focus.
What I usually do for PDF pages/tabs, is click in the URL/location bar, then F11.<br />
For Flash, if you click on the page outside of the video area/box, F11 should work.
