Working/Not Working

I just got Apple tv. We hooked it up and it worked for 2 days. Now it when I try to turn it on I only get a black screen and the white glow light on the apple tv hardware. I have tried everything that's been reccomended doing to trouble shoot. Any other suggestions I am missing?

You don't say what it is that you have tried.
Have you tried another HDMI cable, checking the cable is attached securely, have you tried it with another TV or ensured the current TV is switched to the correct input.

USB working, not working, working?

i own a 2008 Mac Pro and have some problems with my USB Ports. I tried to find information on the internet but i was not able to solve the problem. I did everything from smc Reset to Parameter Ram Reset, Installing a New System, Reinstalling the Combo Update but nothing worked at long sight.
The trouble is, that some external USB Devices do not work on some of my USB Ports at my MAC Pro. Yesterday for example my original Apple Keyboard which was attached to the USB Hub at my DELL Screen stopped working while other devices still did their work. I plugged off all devices and tried different USB Ports and got the Keyboard to work on another port but afterwards my mouse did not work any more. The same problem occurs with my external WD passport USB Drive, my Iomega REV Drive and any other device. Some USB Ports work, some do not work. Some only work when they want to. The external WD USB drive used to be plugged into the front USB ports, where it worked perfectly until some months ago. I had to use another USB Port to get it to work but it also stopped working with the HDD some time later. Both of the Ports still work with my Ipod or Iphone but not with the HDD or other devices. I also tried to use a powered USB Hub which did not solve the problem on long sight. After setting a brand new leopard system, the WD HDD worked on one of the front usb ports but stopped doing so some time later.
Can anyone help me with this issue? I am really desperate and annoyed ... i do not understand why this expensive machine does not work as it should.

There are two modes of SRST - SRST itself (1) and Unified CME in SRST mode (2). Mode (2) provides more features for call-processing. Mode (1) is a bit simplier to configure.

FaceTime worked not working on Mac Air

FaceTime is not working on Mac Air version 10.9.4. Was working fine before. When logging in with Apple ID it will not Verify. Seems like it is corrupt. I can't reinstall app because when I throw it in the trash I get a message "FaceTime can't be modified or deleted because its required by OS X".

Dictation works not working

There are a lot of phrases that are supposed to make key commands possible with dictation, that do not work. Such as caps lock, caps, and the @ sign, often does not work. Sometimes the @ sign works, though... But caps NEVER works.
Are there any others, and are there any fixes?

Email working not working

I've noticed from the status page bt is showing email login issues as solved, is it still addressing issues this whole fiasco haso brought about?
Yes I can get into my account now....but that's about it.
No emails since Friday night apart from bt apology email.
Cannot get ipad, I phone to work at all, they don't fault out on password issue as before just not sending or recieving.
I have just managed in the last 10-15 mins to send myself a test email from one account to another which I can see if I of into my email via bt website., but these are not available on I pad or iphone only if I log into website, so 1 out of my 3 is back so I'm really hoping they don't think it's all fixed and have stopped working on the issues seems tho it says resolved.....it's quite clearly not .
Usually I would of had maybe 40-60 emails in 1 of my accounts, and there's nothing even when I log on via website so there's something clearly not working....cominon bt get announcements up on the forum stop making people have to write posts like this keep us informed.

My email account is still not working and I have just about had enough with the idiots at BT. It's been 12 days now and not once have I received anything close to constructive assistance with fixing whatever the problem is at BT's end. So far as I am concerned BT is now in breach of its contract with me in so far as continuation and quality of service is concerned. I bitterly regret renewing the annual phone line contract and will not do so again with this shambolic entity.

Worker not working on android device.

Hi all.
I'm trying to build multithreaded app for mobile but my initial test showed something like this:
on desktop emulator:
WorkerDomain.isSupported returns true and everything is working fine.
same app on device (htc one x and nexus 7):
WorkerDomain.isSupported returns true but
WorkerDomain.current.createWorker(new WorkerSWF()) returns null and as a result worker.createMessageChannel(Worker.current) throws an error.
In both cases Capabilities.version = "AND 11,4,400,252"
Am I doing something wrong?

Adobe Reader does support 'Submit' button in forms. There are two ways to achieve the same:
Button action to submit an entire PDF document via email. You can add the same while creating the form by following these steps:
Add the "Submit a form" action to your Submit button.
Enter "mailto:" (including a colon) followed by email recipient(s).
Select "PDF The complete document".

On Commit flag. This system field is set to different values depending on the call status of an ABAP program. Of these, only the value of u2018Pu2019 is guaranteed. If at all, SY-ONCOM must only be queried for u2018Pu2019.
The value 'P' means that the program is already executing a subroutine started using PERFORM u2026 ON COMMIT and therefore a
further subroutine call using PERFORM ... ON COMMIT would cause a runtime error.
That means the variable SY-ONCOM has the information if a process "ON COMMIT" is working and so it determines if a dump has to be raised.
Now it's clear the meaning of that correction: if before calling a new commit the value of SY-ONCOM is changed the dump will be avoided.

Here no dump and no infinite loop too, but also no impact on the rest of the functions,
I can suppose the impact will be on the saving of data on database only, because your COMMIT ends the LUW, so it's very important the routine for printing is called at the end, after all saving routines.

I start scout see no worker reported, but on windows platform flash player 11.7, scout report there's a worker
but the worker's functionality is fine, but synced with the main flow, which meanless to start a worker

I also tried it on my newly bought mac mini with macos 10.8 ,the result is the same
and my colleage can run the same swf with worker reported correctly on windows 7
so I am guessing this is the macos related problem

Webmail working/not working

I have a number of virtual domains hosted on my server, all working as should.
On some of the domains I have webmail set up. Works 'well'.
Normally to set this up its a case of checking the webmail tick box in the options page and away you go.
However I have one domain which aint playing.
When I try an turn on this feature I get a 404 'The requested URL /webmail/ was not found on this server.' error page come up.
Any ideas why others should be working, but not for this one domain?

Symbios SCSI card working/not working with KT4

Thanks, that helped. Now I can talk rationally (well, as rationally as I'm able to at 12.30 A.M. after spending a full afternoon with my head inside a computer case). I took my home theater computer to MSI when the KT3 UltraARU came, and since then it has been a sometimes tense, but most of the time good relationship, with a bunch of sound cards and a jump to the KT4. Then I got tired of having the KT4 Ultra version without built in LAN, so I found out I could use the one I had in my server (where I don't need that many PCI cards so I can use a PCI network card). And today the wonder arrived: one KT4 Ultra FISR (or something like that - gigabit lan, firewire, bluetooth ready and serial ATA RAID), plus a brand new AMD XP2600 Plus with a 333 bus for 166 FSB. And I took great care mounting it, for once tidying up all cables, securing good airflow and even cutting two blowholes in the top for good measure, since I knew that the 2600 runs a bit hotter than my old 1800. Then in with all the cards I had used on the former KT4 (from the top: Radeon 9500, Audigy Platinum EX, Live! Value, Pinnacle PCTV Rave, one free PCI slot and finally a ultra SCSI card at the bottom), and I was ready to go. Or so I thought... So what happened? Wel, everything seemed to fire up at first, but it got stuck on the green LEDs on 1 & 3, which should be where the graphics card starts to send messages to the screen. And it got stuck. And stuck. And even after a full BIOS reset (just in case somebody had tested this board and made a wrong setting) it got stuck the same place.
So on to the usual suspects, then. First the memory. Out with the new stick and in with the one I used in the predecessor, which had been working earlier today. No change. OK, then it had to be the CPU. Out with the 2600 and in with the 1800. Nothing. So it had to be the graphics card, then. Out with the 9500, in wich an older ATI Radeon VE. Nothing. But since I'm methodical I simply cursed at the wife and kids, kicked the dog and relieved myself in the neighbours flower bed before I started the next phaze. And I got a hit on the first attempt. As soon as the SCSI card was out, everything functioned. I got into the BIOS, changed everything to what it should be and restarted the PC. Worked like a charm. I even had my two harddisks on the IDE 3, like I have told you before. No problems there. So in with the SCSI card, and nothing.
I know this card works, or at least that it was working earlier today. And nothing had happened that should damage it. So this weekend, when I change mobo in my server (if I do that tomorrow my wife will call a divorce lawyer - one night inside a PC is barely tolerable, two nights in a row is marital suicide!) I'll test it on the "old" KT4 again. My bet is that it works. What can this be? The only difference I was able to see between the boards (except for the firewire and gigabit lan) was that it had a newer BIOS. I think I was on 1.1 on the former KT4 while this arrived with 1.2. Can this be it? I thought BIOS upgrades were to fix problems, not introduce new ones...
Can anybody give me a pointer here? I'd really appreciate it since this SCSI card runs the DVD ROM inside my home theater, and it would be a full retreat to even think about having to open the door to the server room to change DVDs! 8)

If you limit your troubleshooting options, then you were limiting the chance for solving your problem. The diff slot suggestion is still opened for you.
4. Take out all other PCI slots, let only SCSI card alone.
You only need to make sure it can BOOT right? Don't worry about messing up Windows configuration of your PCI cards. Just put them back if you've tried all possible slot configurations.

PDF to work not working

I am using the iPhone 5s, I also download the app adobe reader and paid your app money Hong Kong Dollor $ 188 ,but I can 't use your function PDF to word file.

Was this working before? If yes, any changes been done recently?
Can you find any errors in the database/apache log files?
Can you reproduce the issue from different machines using different browsers?

Programatically set where clause or view criteria not working in managed bean

Upgrade to windows 10, display driver not work

the issue is video card has no working driver detect. I can't get error code ,because teh screen is not display any thing.I am sure the computer is boot up, as it can be access by teamviewer and show a 640x480 screen. currently , I am using miscrosoft default display driver . instead of intel and AMD driver. to show 1024x168 screen , at least I can see someting now... and the fan is screaming .. my product type is HP Pavilion dv4-3126tx QG429PA#AB2 display card is Intel HD Graphics 3000 and AMD radeon 6600m and 6800m (not sure excatly, may be 6750M) I am running windows 10 64bit much thanks
