Working on a logo. Converted type to outlines. Can I paste more than one item into the outlines?

I'm working on a logo. Text converted to outlines. I pasted one element into the outlines and when I went to past a 2nd item into it, it replaced the original. How can I go about doing this?

Can we use more than one <sequence> tags in the xml schema?

If you observe the above sample xml there are two sequences in one complex type with different values for minoccurs and maxoccurs. Is this xml valid? why I need this is I have an
XML with lot of elements some of them should have minoccurs = "1" maxoccurs = "1" and some other should have the other combination of min and max attributes. I want to
declare it in the sequence rather than declaring beside each individual element. is that possible?

If I understand what you want correctly, it won't work for the second sequence.
For instance, this will be valid :

<test3/>
<test4/>
</root>but this will not :
<root>
<test1/>
<test2/>
<test3/>

Hi Peter,
yes, that makes sense. If you want to use different combinations of repository services you need different repositories. Or if you want to include existing data (e.g. file systems) from different locations. Or if you need to use different backup strategies (RDBMS, file), or ...
BTW, my KM Installation (NW04 SPS9) has 23 CM repositories by default.

How to convert More than one order into Commercial Invoice?

 I am facing one problem in Export senario, i have to create Commercial Invoice with reference to One or more than one order but PO no. in order are different. Is it possible?
 Also i have to create one delivery & one Tax invoice in reference to one or more order or Delivery, How?

This can be definitely done. There can be multiple sales orders of a single customer and the shipping address is also the same, so it will be logical to create a single delivery and thus a single invoice for the same.
For clubbing multiple sales orders into one delivery go through the following process:
Using transaction code VL10A we can club multiple sales orders into a single delivery provided the following details are the same in case of all sales orders:
1. Sales document type.
2. Delivery document type.
3. Division.
4. Sold to party.
5. Ship to party.
6. Goods issue Date.
Process:
1. go to VL10A - enter the shipping point, delivery creation date (automatically proposed) & "CalcRuleDefltDlvCrDt" - this is the rule for determining default value for delivery creation date. The following are implemented:
1. All documents due for delivery today
2. All documents due for delivery today and tomorrow
3. All documents due for delivery up until the end of next week (includingthose that were due before today)
4. All documents due for delivery up until and including tomorrow(including those that were due before today)
Below you have tabs for "general data", "sales orders", "material", "partners", "user role". You can select accordingly. It is not necessary to select from these. Now click on "execute" or press "F8".
2. Here in this screen you will see the sales order nos., the ship to party , the delivery priority. Select the required sales orders by simultaneously pressing the "shift key" and now clcik on "background". The system will now create a single delivery in the background.
3. Go back to the original screen and click on "collective processing logs". Just click on "execute" or press "F8". You will face a screen for "log of collective run" Here you can see how many documents were created for those sales orders and if there had been any errors those also can be seen.
If you see error then select that line and in the menu bar click on "go to" and in this click on "notes". or you can directly click "Shift + F8". You can see what exactly was the error.
click on the line and click on "documents" Here you will see the delivery document number - "copy this number/make a note of it". You will know the time when you clicked on "background". Just go through it to ge the correct delivery document number.
4. Go to "VL02N" - paste/enter the delivery document number and press enter. Now you can do the picking as per your requirement and do the PGI.
This is the way how the process works for VL10A and completing the delivery with PGI.
Now like this say you have "5" deliveries created by clubbing multiple sales orders for a single customer. Now you want to club all "5" deliveries to create a single invoice. The settings will have to be done in the copy controls from "delivery document" to "billing document". Go to transaction code "VTFL" - select the export billling document type and the export delivery document type select the line and double click on the same - here you have 4 fields:
Copying requirements - maintain "003" here
Determ. export data - "A"
Assignment number - "E"
Reference number - leave blank
Copy item number - "tick on it"
At the item level:
Select the item category and in
Copying requirements - "004"
Data VBRK/VBRP - "001"
Save the settings.
Now when you you clucb multiple deliveries into one invoice the following must be same:
1. Sold to party should be same
2. Ship to party should be same
3. Delivery document types should be same
4. Billing document type should be same
5. Incoterms should be same
6. Payment terms should be same
7. Shipping type should be same
Clubbing multiple deliveries into 1 invoice:
Go to VF01 - select the delivery document numbers - press enter - click on "execute" or press "F8". Here if there is no split criterias then the system will show you all the line items - save the invoice. If the system finds any data mismatch then it will show a button for the "split analysis" - when you click on it the system will show you why the split has occured.

Can we have more than one Transaction type in Interaction Center in 7.0

We are currently upgrading from CRM 5.0 to 7.0. We have an Interaction Center that has about 30 transaction types defined in the action boxes that we want to use in the CRM Web UI in 7.0. Is it possible to use more than one Business Activity (Sales) transaction in the WebUI? I see that you can configure them for follow-ups but when I view the Business transaction profile configuration , it only allows me to apply 1 transaction , say 0010 or ZC01. When I launch the Web UI, I see the transaction say ZC01 in the upper left corner. We would like to be able to launch the Web UI and the ability to create activities for more than 1 transaction type. Is this possible ?

yes you can. In the schedule task you'll have to put your query in such a way that it brings both data.
Can both trusted systems can be active at the same time pulling two types of users from two trusted systems?
You have to run both recon in sequential manner so that it can pull correct data for OIM
Some where i read in doc that only one target system can be designated as trusted system if it as has more than one the recons will not work properly...
I don't think that it results into issue. But we have to see the sequence mainly. Otherwise it will results into wrong data

Tcode MASS does not work if more than one item in contract

Hi,
I need to update the contract zone of a PO. Via tcode ME22N, this zone is disabled, so i cannot fill my contract in the PO using this tcode.
I tried tcode MASS which works only if the contract has only one item.
Can anyone help please?

In Mass for Multiple Line Item to update to Multiple line item PO
Just go to MASS
Select the option BUS2012 (Purchase orders)
and in the select the poline item EKPO
And enter the PO Number along with the Item Number in the entry screen and execute it .
But for the Contract also enter the option
Outline Agreement -- for the contract number
Principal Agmt Item-- for the contract item number
Enter the above against the PO and its item number combination it works.
As suggested earlier please check the Screen layout option also.which would be more easy way,
Check the PO Screen layout-Field settings. at the Document type level mainatained in the config.

Can't type on Flash-based site with more than one window open.

When I try to use certain sites, I think flash, my Macbook will not allow me to type. For example, on the site "Prezi," I can type on my presentation right after I open the file, but as soon as I open a new Safari window and then return to Prezi, I can't. I have experienced this before with the site "Pandora" as well, and can only occasionally type in the search fields there. Please help!

I am having very similar problems. We have three macbooks in the house. Mine is the older version but I have done all the upgrades. The new ones all type fine into flash based programs like prezi and voicethread, whereas I can only paste text into the program.

How to get a DDE advise link working on a DDE server with more than one topic on the same service, and with an equal item name?

When I create a DDE server with serveral topics, all on the same service and with the same item name (different topic), it appears that an advise link does not function properly. It doesn't work at all, it update only when the advise link is terminated or only one of the topics can use an advise link.
eg.
On one DDE server I have 2 topics:
topic1:
servicename: DDEserver
topicname : C(1)
itemnames : P(1), P(2), P(3)
topic2:
servicename: DDEserver
topicname : C(2)
itemnames : P(1), P(2), P(3)
Only the topicnames differ!
Now I can't get an advise link working on one of the items (sometimes on one, but not
on another).
Normal (non-advise) links are working fine however.
(In my case there is no other solution since this DDEserver should be compatible with an older one, created earlier.)

I really don't know DDE very well. It is usually recommended that you switch to using ActiveX. You may not be correctly configuring the netDDE server. There is an example in the reource library that shows how to do this. You may also want to look at the DDE advise examples that came with LabVIEW 5.1 and earlier.

Can I define more than one table in one External Content Type

I am new to the BCS development using SharePoint Designer 2010. I tried to create multiple SQL tables by referring to the same External Content Type with no success. Since the External Content Type shows all my SQL tables in the same database,
I though it would allow me to create a different list on another table from the same database. Is this possible?
When I tried to use the same External Content Type for the second table, it refers back to the first table identifier unless I create another External Content Type refer to the same database but point to the different table.

As far as I know you can only use one table per external content type.

Since upgrading, if I open more than one page, I can't type in the URL bar nor do any type of command in the extra page. I can only use Firefox if only one window is open.

If I open more than one Firefox page, the extra page(s) aren't responsive and all links/buttons are grayed out and unusueable.

Can't convert type to outlines

I recently purchased CS5, and find there's a feature I'd like in Illustrator that doesn't appear to work. The option Type>Create Outlines is grayed out. I'm using Mac OS X 10.6. Is this another instance of a feature only available on Windows? Is there another way to convert type to outlines, using LIve Trace or something?

If your Import Settings are for Apple Lossless, AIFF, AAC or whatever the majority of your files are, convert MP3s to that file type.
I've presently got 17,000+ files in my library, and they're ALL MP3 or M4B(Audiobooks). If they weren't when I got them, I converted them. Saves a LOT of hassels with just this type of situation. Having difficulty converting more than one page of a PDF to Excel.

I am using Adobe Acrobat 10.0 to convert PDF files to use in Excel. I am working with PDFs that have several dozen, if not hundreds of pages, almost all of which contain very lengthy tables. I need to have these tables saved in a format accessible by Excel, but I am running into a bit of difficulty. Whenever I convert a PDF, I can open it in Excel and find that the very first page of the PDF has converted over perfectly. Any headers are properly placed. Any tables are perfectly aligned, spaced, and appropriately divided among different columns. All information is laid out fine. All the information from the second page on is crammed into the first column.
I have tried to save the PDF as an Excel workbook, and I have tried selecting just the tables and exporting them to Excel. I get more or less the same results whatever I try. I can convert a single page at a time without any problems, but since I have thousands of pages of tables to convert, you can probably understand why I want to find a solution to this. I need to be able to convert over multiple pages without having all of the information from tabels within the PDF getting placed into the first colum. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Adobe strongly recommends that you should NOT have Acrobat and Reader installed on the same system. They have the bad habit on stepping on each other's files. You do not need both programs to read PDF files.
You should uninstall Reader and repair Acrobat. I also recommend that you restart after removing Reader and after repairing Acrobat.
