When a Spanish employee logged in the portal for Working time
the Dropdown values for 'Atts./Abs' type are listing in English
What Could be the problem?

Hello Liz,
that is considered to be normal.
It´s bettter for a Li-ion battery not to be charged fully, so the powermanager don´t load the whole time.
That´s why the percentage could drop. But thats not a problem thats a feature.
if your battery handling is set to automatic in powermanager then, eveythings is ok.
Do you use your machine with AC plugged in the whole time?

ADF Databound Drop Down causes "invalid for working set view object"

I've created a drop-down list per the instructions laid out in the "Creating a Databound Drop Down List in Oracle JDeveloper 10g" HowTo ( http://otn.oracle.com/products/jdev/tips/mills/databound_lists.html ). The list works fine when editing an existing row, but I get the following error when working with a newly created row:
JBO-25048: Operation getAllRowsInRange is invalid for a working set view object.
The drop-down list actually gets populated correctly despite the error. The error only occurs the first time I access the detail page that uses the list. I'm guessing that this may have something to do with the fact that the row value associated with with list is null.
Any ideas on how to workaround this one? Thanks.

The ViewObject that is bound to the list is only used for the purposes of the list so there shouldn't be any problem with its state being altered elsewhere. Not sure if that's what you mean by collisions or not...
I tried adding a "null/empty" value to the list but the results are the same.
What is meant by "working set view object"? What other types of ViewObject are there? How are they different and how does someone know which operations are valid/invalid?

Autocomplete does not work (no drop-down-menu)

Hi all
I'm trying to setup the autocomplete-input, but it doesn't
work. When I type anything into the textbox, the animated image
beside the box shows activity and I see the submitted data from the
backend in debug mode, but the drop-down-menu with the matching
records does not appear.
if I build a static list of possible choices in the
cfinput-tag, it works.
my cfc returns an array and this is serialized as JSON in the
calling backend-template (see code below). In source code view of
the html-page, I see lots of java-script and CSS inserted into the
page.
any ideas?

When I'm on Facebook and play Fish World, sending gifts is no longer working, the drop down box won't open enough to see the "send" button. It works in other games, but not in Fish World, and I contacted Fish World who said it was a browser problem.

starting yesterday I cannot get the drop down box to open to send gifts to my friends. Fish world told me a few weeks ago it was due to some updates with Facebook, but now that has been fixed and I can't get the game inFB to work. It works with other browsers - Chrome and IE9. Is there something I need to do on my end to fix this? Other facebook games work fine with drop down boxes, it's only fish world.

Website has many drop-down menus. Once selected, user updates the page based on selections. Unable to select more than 1 option at a time. Is there a setting to fix this? I was able to do before, but after reinstall, it has stopped.

This occurs on any website with active menu drop-downs. I am able to select the 1st drop-down, but must then load the page and do the next drop-down. I used to be able to make every selection at once and then reload the page to reflect all of those options.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. How to make buttons work in drop down movieclip in flash???

      I am trying to make an index page with buttons for a photography site. the entire page is built in flash so far. My question is that I have created a drop down menu that is a Movieclip with 5 buttons. I can not seem to assign an external web page to each buttons that are under the movie clip drop down menu.   Is this a possible??   The Movie clip is run by mouse-over the word "studio Gallery" button. This drops down the 5 gallerbuttons (Portrait, children, wedding, Artistic Babies, etc...). In Flash 8 Pro I know I can assign an external web page named children on the main page but how do I assign these to the buttons in the drop down once the movieclip is made. Is this where I need to use folders with extra layers in the folder to make it work??
In case you can not tell I am new to this and have been teaching my self with "Training from the Source" and also "Visual Quickstart Guide" so go easy on me 8-)

Other than the difference of onrelease to on (rollOver) I see no reason
for this error
        The clip works but when the mouse rolls out it does not close
the dropdown menu I have included the drop down file here also.   I will
be using this to add the resulting "swf" file to the area on my larger
fla to get the menues working but I don't want the menu to stay open
once someone rolls over it if they want to goto an other spot on the page.
I'm 53 yrs old and can not afford much more Hair pulling I will be bald
if the little stuff wins....

What you should do is search Google using "AS2 drop down tutorial". That should produce a few results that you can use to guide you thru the process.
I cannot tell clearly from your description so far, but it sounds like your movieclip contains the buttons and has a rollover assigned to it. That rollover will block interaction with the buttons. So your best bet is to get a hold of a tutorial that will walk you thru the process so that you can get your buttons working the way you want.

Scenario in detail:
1. In Competitive Scenario i have two suppliers (supplier A and Supplier B) for bidding with respective work areas for two suppliers and a public work area (as standard)
2. when supplier A logs in he can see supplier B in the drop down box, but i dont want Supplier A to see supplier B even in the drop down and vice versa.
3. even though the standard cFolders functionality does not allow the suppliers to see other supplier's work area!! but we want to block the drop down except for administrator to see who are all have authorization in that Competitive Scenario

Please check your user authorisation.
what happens when you login as supplier1 and select the supplier2 work area ??
If still you are able to see the supplier2 area in drop down then looks like a bug.

Drop down month calendar for iCal

One thing that annoys me when entering new iCal events is I have to always to type dd/mm/yyyy and can't use a dropdown calendar in Outlook?
Ofcourse moving the events by just dragging and dropping is cool, but still there are at times I feel a drop down is faster.
Is there a plugin or something to get a calendar popup?

Yes this is fine. What I am looking for is, say I clicked for an appointment for this Wednesday (normally my cal will be in week setting) and when I enter the information, I decide I want to move this event to next Wednesday.
So I have a drop down calendar, I don't have to calculate what the day is for next wednesday or have to switch my week view momentarily to month view to drag it.

I was trying to implement one Web dynpro ABAP application that will show one ALV and ALV will content one dropdown so that user can select data from the drop down. Addtion to that, my dropdown should have data based on another column of ALV.

At the end of development, ALV is displayed with dropdown. Also dropdown has data binded. However, no data is visible in dropdown.

i am using the same code except i have just modified little bit the select statement to restrict the number of entries.
and also besides writing the code in wddoinit i have added the compenent usage of alv component and added the node
having the structure ckst and after that deleting the dictionary reference to add the attribute valueset in both places
component controller and view controller and mapped them and mapped the data node of interface controller of comp
usage to this node in comp contrlr.
and adding the view container and embeding table view of alv comp there.
that's it

Drop down in report for selection texts on selection screen

Hi,
I have a selection screen for a custom report on which there is a selection-option for entering text-symbol value from selection texts of the same report.
Could anybody please let me know how to put a drop-down so that users can see selection texts before entering into this free form field.
Otherwise, could anybody let me know which table stores text symbols of the report?

Problem with Signature tab drop down in Outlook for Mac 2011

I am setting up Outlook 2011 on my mac and have run across a problem with the signatures that I have been unable to resolve.
I have set up 2 signatures for my two different pop accounts and thought that if I defaulted them to their appropriate account they would automatically be seen in email when I had chosen the corresponding email account. I then discovered that it was not
possible to do this in Outlook 2011 for Mac.
So I selected NONE as the defaults for my two signatures, and thought I would be able to manually add the appropriate signature to each email as I compose or reply. BUT NO!!!! THE PROBLEM LIES BELOW:
The 2 signatures that I set up are visible in the drop down menu from the signature tab in an email, however they are greyed out and cannot be selected. I have attempted selecting one of these signatures as the default, and whichever one
I select dutifully appears when I compose a new email, but when I click on the drop down to change the signature, both are still greyed out.
So effectively, I only have the option of one signature or none, despite being able to set up multiple signatures in my profile.
Does anyone know why this is occurring and what the solution is?

If the new created Signature is still greyed out in your Outlook, please restart the Outlook client in safe mode to confirm if the issue is caused by any third-party add-ins.

I'm relatively new to Dreamweaver, and web design in general. I took on a project to create a small-business website for my buddy.
I'll start by saying that I've googled, and have found several copy / paste solutions, as well as several plugin-style solutions. For various reasons, I'm not interested in other methods of creating a menu (jQuery). Project 7, before you post (like you seem to do in EVERY thread I've read about this topic...), I may purchase your tool later, but I want to learn the process first.
I'd like to know if anyone knows of a video or a walkthrough of how to create a CSS-only drop down menu for DreamWeaver CC. An in-depth tutorial will help me better understand CSS and HTML in general, as well as help me navigate the changes in DreamWeaver (namely, the CSS designer).
Any ideas?

Avoiding server events of drop downs, table rows--serious discontent:Users

Hi All,
We have developed Timesheet, satffing request system, Visa Requisition System, Dash board using WEB DYNPRO for JAVA. Each application has UI elements->drop downs,Table.
 We are facing serious discontent from onsite users( US,Germany, UK etc..) who get lot of server events while using each UI element( mentioned above). "It is absolutely unfriendly" is the comments we are getting from users.
CAN'T WE AVOID THIS....by upgrading EP version(currently we are using 6.40) or some other way.....
Please let us know how can we OVERCOME this issue...

Hi,
See if you can find the "CompatibilityMode" property for the table. Set this property to "nw04plus" value. This should eliminate your issue.
