Working Windows 7 BIOS not yet provided for G530 machines

I am mentioning this on the general Windows 7 forum, because we have waited months, and had several dropped promises on the machine-type forum.
G530 machines can use the BIOS from last June that is supposed to be proper, and become unable even to control screen brightness, as well as many other features of the machine.
As the G530 is a laptop, this is a critical failure on the screen brightness side alone, and so we have no proper approved BIOS for Windows 7.
Our alternative is to use a BIOS that appears on the 'consumer' website, which we are told not approved for G530 even though it says it is for them.
This 'consumer' BIOS fixes the control problems, proving Lenovo knows how to do it for System 7, and knew last May when this BIOS was made.
This 'consumer' BIOS also adds ONE to TWO_MINUTES_ of BLACK SCREEN WAIT to the power-up boot process.
It must be very clear this is not satisfactory, and not a solution as promised to give Windows 7 on G530s.
Of course we have paid for the Windows 7 upgrade as well. Mine was delivered with this charge clearly billed and 'no charge' for shipping, which after all was from only 100 miles away.
Please, Please, give us what you promised now. Let us put one part of the saga to rest.

1. We have opened new company and enter data from FY 2009. All posting has happened properly, but when we are trying to see report S_ALR_87011963 we are facing following problem.
We have already check everything on SDN and followed, but our problem still exists.
Table T093C is showing as FY 2009 year and also same in OB52, OAAQ is showing 2008 as closed year. We have run AJRW for 2009 and it runs successfully.

You have already posted in fiscal years that come after 2009. This means that you can only post in the last posting period 012 in fiscal year 2009. Or you can post to a special period, if one is set up. Since you have not posted yet in this fiscal year, you must specify that the depreciation posting run is unplanned.
Procedure
Please check the fiscal year entered. If you are certain you want to post to fiscal year 012, you must start the depreciation posting run in the last posting period (or in the special period). Be sure to indicate that this posting run is unplanned, since it falls outside of the normal posting cycle.

I am not making a new post regarding this but I hope you can help me answer.
I am experiencing the same issue as the one posted originally and here are my data.
1. Running the same asset report
2. System is currently in FY 2013
3. OAAQ shows FY 2012
4. SE16N > T03C shows FY2013
I have tried running AJRW again but I am getting the same error in the asset report. I hope someone out there can help.

While executing the T-code S_ALR_87011963 (Asset balances report) reporting year : 31.12.2009, am

1)      In T-code OAAQ, For company code 1234 closed fiscal year is 2008.
2)      Thru F-90, I can post the acquisitions in year 2009.
3)      Fiscal year 2009 is already opened, while running the reports why
this error message is showing u201CFiscal year change not yet made for
company code 1234u201D
4)      I have to get the reports for closed fiscal years, am not getting
any reports for fiscal years 2006,2007,2008.

I have crated infor structure, maintained parameter. Created planning hierarchy also.
When I use transaction MC93 to create flexible plan, I am getting error message ""Structure not yet maintained for this combination of characteristics""

Accounting data not yet maintained for material 2010 R-1130-40

I was trying to post a goods issue, but having a error that says -
accounting data not yet maintained for material 2010 R-1130-40
I then tried MM02 to maintain the accounting view, but also having an error that says -
accounting 1 not active for the organizational level.
Any ideas please as to what to do.

Extend the Accounting view with Tcode :MM50
Go to MM50 , select Maintenance status as "B" and enter Material number and click on execute (F8), then select the Material line item and click on Maintain Materials tab.

Database is not yet configured for monitoring in DB02

When i goto transaction DB02, it says 'Database is not yet configured for monitoring". Its asking for the location of UDF Path name. What do I set this too, what is the file name, don't see anything which states what this should be.

Windows could not load installer for daqdevice

Hello, I have 2 Labpc-1200 Daq cards installed in my Windows 200 SP4 pc. When i load NI-Daq6.9.3 and reboot, i get the following error
"Windows could not load installer for DaqDevice"
I have search the forums and support here withough luck. Here is what i have tried :
Removed all daq, labview software - rebooted reinstalled
removed all registry keys, hklm\software\niationa intruments
Updated pc to SP4
Anyone got any ideas please?

I have attached a word document and a zip file the word document is a procedure for removing all NI soft ware I know you said you have done this but just to check you haven’t mist anything.
Is there any reason why you are using NI-Daq6.9.3?
There is a link in the attachments for the latest drivers which I would suggest you use them. The latest drivers for Traditional NI DAQ Legacy is 7.4.1 and the latest for DAQmx is 8.

I've got a problem with the SRM7 in the assignment of the suppliers for the SC I get the error message: Supplier shall not be provided for the purchasing organization. The latest information I have already incorporated. Can anyone help?

Hi,
If SC is created for one purchase organization; vendor must assigned to that purchase organization.
First check have you maintained R/3 PurOrg & SRM PurOrg properly. When you transfer vendors R/3 PurOrg is assigned to corresponding SRM PurOrg.
Use tcode: BBPGETVD to transfer vendors initially then use report BBP_VENDOR_SYNC to update all vendors.
You will find where all the customizing can be done on this report.
Path: SPRO->Tecnical Basic Settings->Make Settings for vendor synchronization
Else you can check table: BBPM_BUT_FRG0061 for PurOrg & Vendor mapping. Don't forget to get BP of vendor from table: BUT000.
You can refer SAP Note: 1298544- Input of supplier data leads to an error message in 2nd step.

while viewing the asset balance report, system is throwing 'fiscal year change not yet made for co. code'. However in T.code AJAB, system is showing no error in log. While executing in background & checking in sm37, in spool the system showing 'dep. not done completely for an asset'. However, the asset is AUC & in master data the dep. key is 0000.
Kindly help me out as it is very critical because user cannot able to post it.

Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'machinename': The connection with the server was terminated abnormally (0x00002EFE).

I have a 3 node cluster that has replica setup to replicate to another cluster off-site.
Suddenly one of the servers is not replicating with the error:
Hyper-V could not replicate changes for virtual machine 'machinename': The connection with the server was terminated abnormally (0x00002EFE). (Virtual Machine ID CC0FD4CC-F9B7-4C68-ABE8-B7D52A87899F)
All other servers are replicating fine so there cannot be a permissions or connectivity issue between the 2 clusters.
This server has 2TB of data so I'd rather not have to start the replication again.
Does anyone have any pointers?

Based on my knowledge , "hyper-v replica broker " is needed for failover cluster replica .

I agree with Kappy.. passing files and especially via wireless is slow as slow.
Just need to be sure your TC is the new AC model??
And the OS on the computer is Lion?
Have you completed the setup of the TC via the utility? You do still need to get internet via the TC so it has to be plugged into the main router..
Give us the full picture of the network.
Then we can help you get into it.. whether you should put your files on it is another question.

Lion Install does not work, says "This disk is used for Time Machine backups"

I'm having trouble installing Lion onto my macbook pro intel core 2 duo.
I am backing up my computer with an external drive using TimeMachine, but i've disconnected it. Also i'm running SL 10.6.8
I have a windows 7 partition that was created with boot camp.
I've tried to make sure everything is all ready for lion but when I go to install lion it says "This disk is used for Time Machine backups" and the hard drive is grayed out.

I'm hearing that a file called "Backups.backupdb" is on the top level of the hard drive, but I see no such file. I've looked at the invisible files and I cant find it.
I've also created a bootable flash copy of the lion install but that does not work It gives me the same message "This disk is used for time Machine backups".

"Backups.backupdb" if the file in Time Machine. As the discussion says, you have to find that file and trash it. Try spotlight to locate it. If that does not work, down load OmniDiskSweeper from the Internet (free) and go through an organized search to find "Backups.backupdb". If that takes too long or is too tedious, then if you have everything backed up, erase the HDD and start from square one.

I am getting this error "Windows could not start the OracleDBConsoleOracleInstance2 on Local Computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the system vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 1".
I installed Oracle 11g on Windows 7 and created my 1st database instance (oracleInstance1) successfully with a listener and service configured. I could access this database using DBconsole URL: https://hostname:1158/em.
I see the services started for:
OracleDBConsoleOracleInstance1
OracleOraDb11g_home1TNSListener
OracleServiceOracleInstance1
Next, I created a second database instance (oracleInstance2) and have configured a new service for this database. I am using the same listener as I intend to use one database instance at any point of time.
However, I got this warning message during configuration:
"Enterprise manager configuration succeeded with the following warning - Error starting Database Control. Please execute the following command(s).
1. Set the environment variable ORACLE_UNQNAME to Database unique name.
2. C:\Oracle\product\11.2.0\dbhome_1\bin\emctl.bat start dbconsole"
To start the new database console, I stopped the previously running DBConsole, OracleDBConsoleOracle1 and started the new DBConsole OracleDBConsoleOracle2 and get the above error.
When I try to start dbconsole manually using "emctl dbconsole start", it starts OracleDBConsoleOracle1 instead.
I changed environment variables ORACLE_SID=oracle2 and ORACLE_UNQNAME=oracle2
What am I missing here. Please help!

From a command prompt, enter the following:
set ORACLE_SID=oracle2
set ORACLE_UNQNAME=oracle2
set | sort
net start
emctl start dbconsolecopy the entire session, commands and full responses, and paste back here.

Doesn't' matter if you use one instance or 100. The listener was DESIGNED to service multiple instances of multiple versions running from multiple homes. It is nothing but a connection broker. A telephone switchboard, if you will. All you need is a single listener, with the default name of LISTENER, running on the default port of 1521. It will handle all the database instances you care to throw at it. More instances than anyone in their right mind would ever put on a single server. Your server will run out of capacity to host additional instances before the listener runs out of capacity to service them. Especially since your 'server' is really just a toy in the Oracle world.

Wireless not working "windows could not find a driverfor your network adaptor"

Hi, So I was just using my laptop normally then the wireless internet stopped working. When I troubleshoot why there is no connection it says "windows could not find a driverfor your network adaptor" Now I can only connect to the internet by plugging a cable from the laptop into the modem.
