Working with Dreamweaver for a BC Website

I am creating my website in Dreamweaver CS6 and using BC to host the site. When I make a change to the file and click the 'live' button in Dreamweaver CS6, it puts the entire site. How do I change this setting so I can put the site when I am finished editing it?

The point of the Live view is to see the changes you have made on production, which is why DW puts the files across. In any case I belive that unchecking this button in Manage Sites section will do what you need:

WP Greek Century in Mac doesn't work with Dreamweaver

I am a many year PC user and have finally made the leap too Mac and its another learning curve .. That said, in Dreamweaver and in Mac, WP Greek Century does not work! I have reloaded the font and all I see is the alpha #.   If I load it into any browser, it still will not read greek. My old PC didn't have a problem with this. Some of the download sites say that this font, WP Greek Century, works with both PC and Mac. The one odd spin to all this is that this greek font works in Fireworks ... Is there anything I can do to make it work in Dreamweaver? Please advise and thanks. Mark
ps. I called Apple support and they could not help.

Fonts don't work on the web like they do in print. Any font you use on a
website will require that the end user have that same font installed on
their system.
I did try to load that font from a free source (assuming this is how you
got it). It is a PC TrueType and doesn't appear to work at all on the
Mac. Now if you are looking for just a few characters you can code this
into the HTML:
http://tlt.its.psu.edu/suggestions/international/bylanguage/greekchart
.html . As far as other fonts, this greek font seems to work on Mac:
http://www.dafont.com/ancient-geek.font . But again, it's not a web-font
so you won't be legally allowed to use it on web pages, and it will only
work if the end user has that font installed on their system, unlike the
HTML entities previously linked.

FTP sync problems with Dreamweaver MX on Prostores website

I ftp/sync, design and maintain my website Carnelian.com with Dreamweaver MX. My website is hosted by Prostore.com (an Ebay company). They have just recently migrated to new servers and are now requiring FTPES security which apparently is not supported via Dreamw
eaver Mx (which uses SFTP). Because of this I can no longer FTP or syncronize my website, upload files, images etc. Is there some
work around so that I can meet their secure ftp requirements and still use Dreamweaver to ftp/sync my website? I can get a third party FTPES client and upload my site changes, images etc but then my website will no longer be syncronized in Dreamweaver MX which would be a great inconvenience and problem for me.
Is there a solution to this problem?

I'm going to give Adobe and Google the benefit of the doubt on this one, and assume it is eBay being ridiculous. My anecdotal experience with Adobe and Google is that they do pay attention to technology trends and usually incorporate industry standard technology into their software. If it were just Dreamweaver that didn't support SSL/TTS I might have a different attitude, however blogger.com doesn't support publishing via SSL/TTS either, so I think the error if there is one, is on the Prostores side of things, and I'm guessing it would have made sense for them to support SFTP.
At the same time I assume the Adobe eco-system is more likely to render a solution here than the Prostores eco-system. Is there some sort of plugin/additional piece of software that lets Dreamweaver masquerade a SSL/TTS connection?

Is there an extension that works with Dreamweaver CC to create SCORM imsmanifest?

I searched the forum and it looks like Manifest Maker for ADL SCORM 1.2 will not work in Dreamweaver CC. Can some please confirm this? Is there any extension like this will work with Dreamweaver CC? However, Most Extensions in CC requires a ZXP format/extension and distributors have provided free updates to their customers. Have you tried contacting the person who created that particular extension?

It is increasingly unbearable working with Dreamweaver, every time I work using tables, adding links in the tab "layout" program stuck, literally has multiple problems with apple magic mouse and you need to pay monthly for something gives me a lot of problems, I can not work like this ... any solution? ... thanks in advance.

I cannot get my Logitech webcam to work with Lync for Mac

I cannot get my Logitech Webcam or Cinema Display facetime webcam to work with MS Lync. Lync always uses the Macbook Pro's standard webcam and does not give any options anywhere to choose between video devices. The same webcam works with GotoMeeting, Viber, Skype and Google Hangout without any problems.
Does anyone know how I could get it working with Lync for Mac too? I have the Lync for 2011 version 14.0.7.

I'm not quite sure I understand your point.
I have just tested the Open Browser Window behavior in Dreamweaver CC. It creates slightly different code from Dreamweaver CS6, but it works correctly. This is what is created in the HTML:

Dreamweaver CC also adds the following code to the <head> of the page:

</script>
The definition of the MM_openBrWindow() function is needed in the <head> for the code to work. But it definitely works OK.
With regard to _self and _blank not working, I can't find any problem with the way Dreamweaver CC handles them.
However, if you feel happier working with Dreamweaver CS6, you can download it from the following page:

Open the drop-down menu under "In this version", and select Dreamweaver CS6 as shown in the following screenshot:
With Dreamweaver CS6 selected, click the large Download button at the top-right of the page. You can then download CS6, and install it alongside Dreamweaver CC.

Office OneNote 2013 working with OneDrive for Business

M$ is going to be the death of me.
So here's what I have Windows 8.1 Pro with Office 2013 Pro with OneDrive for Business with our own SharePoint 2013 environment running on a tablet.
I open this lovely OneNote Product and all it asks me is to sign into my M$ Account, I don't want to use my M$ account I want it to just open and allow me to create a new notebook... It just asks me to sign into my M$ account. I don't want to
do that.
So I got into my SharePoint document library,click New document, create onenote document, open it and OneNote prompts me to log into my M$ account....
I don't want to use my M$ account, I want to use my OneDrive For Business and the SharePoint 2013 environment we've paid thousands of dollars for...
Another funny thing I found is, OneNote 2013 for Mac, works with OneDrive for Business?!?! On Windows? NOPE!
Am I missing something simple?

a best practice to is to never have any computer program (including iPhoto) delete the photos from the card but to import the photos and keep them and then after at least one successful backup cycle has completed and then reformat the card -- I use three very large (32 GB) cards in rotation so I do not reformat for typically a year or more giving me one more long term backup of my photos
Back up your iPhoto library, Depress and hold the option (alt) and command keys and launch iPhoto - rebuild your iPhoto library database

Please also check Event Viewer if it identify this problem.
In addition, also check Device Manager, if similar driver already installed, try to uninstall them and reinstall new driver again for test.

If i'm reading the blurb on the website correctly i can only get to see an Microsoft office word document on iCloud if i email it.

I want to use Office for Mac but be able to see and edit or finish the document on my iPad and iPhone.

There are options out there other than iCloud for
cloud storage and syncing (and also not as limited).
Dropbox is one choice. If working with Windows
computers as well, One Drive is very good option
(especially with Win8).
