Working with hyperlink to take me to a later page

Is there anyway to create a hyperlink in a multi-page pages document that when clicked will take me to a paragraph that occurs later in the same document?
For instance - I have in the opening paragraph of my paper alpha-1 receptor antagonist. I would like to link this phrase to a paragraph which defines an alpha-1 receptor antagonist on page 16.

In the Pages User Guide available to every user from the Help menu, we may read:
but CAUTION, this apply to Word Processor documents.
You didn't wrote if yours is such one or if it is a Page Layout one

Does this mean it only works for pages etc... or do i have to activate it somehow? If it is only for pages then this ***** and should be better advertised!!!

Each application will need to be updated to work with Versions, Full Screen, and other Lion-specific features.

Remote sync well with iPad .. Impressive
However, it doesn't work with any hyperlinks!
It's simply an image and swiping the pages ... Ignoring all hyperlinks ... It does work with media but u would have to put them in sequence in your slides. If you work with many hyperlinks within a slide, you can't get any to work with the remote!
Quite disappointed that Apple actually charges for an app so simple with no value added services!
There are many free apps doing the same simple tasks.

ConvertTarget works with hyperlinks, but not buttons

I haven't been able to make the convertTarget tag in provider.xml work with a submit button. I would like the button to open a new window rather than overwrite the portal page. Is there a way to fix this so that hyperlinks and form action links both have a target=_blank?

Hi,
URLServices supports only hyperlinks to be opened in new window. Form actions and buttons are not supported.
If you want this feature, you can do it by extending HtmlFilter class and overriding the method
addTargetNew(PortletRenderRequest,String). The method addTargetNew is private for HtmlFilter class and hence you need to make necessary changes for the method (edit it as public) and override in your filter class.

Screensaver installed on Mountain Lion still works with Yosemite but Attempting to install on later MBP it won't work with Mavericks or Yosemite

I installed Porsche's 911 Screensaver on my 2011 MBP when it had Mountain Lion. It still works after upgrades up to Yosemite. I attempted to install the same on my late 2013 MBP Retina (Mavericks and Yosemite) and though it installs, I get the message that the screensaver isn't compatible with this version of OS X. How can a piece of software work on one MBP and not another? The 2011 is 15", quad-core i7 and the 2013 is about as powerful but 13" and all SSD. This is confusing

The home button in the toolbar doesn't work anymore. It takes me to a search page not my homepage

instead of opening new tabs I do a lot of surfing from one tab. Before when I wanted to get back to my homepage I would click the Home button in the toolbar and it would take me back to my homepage. A nice feature. But lately when I click the home button it takes me to a search window and I have to type in yahoo and then click on yahoo login.
Anyone know how to fix this?

Believe it or not but most people use the url bar for searching.

Messaging app that works with 2nd generation ipod touch

I recently downloaded imessenger to my 2nd generation ipod touch but it was hours later and with the help of this forum, that I discovered it is not possible to use with my iOS. Does anyone know of a texting app that I can use?

You neglected to mention that the Numark iM1 is a piece of hardware (a physical box) that plugs into an iPod.
Checking on the Numark website, I suspect they haven't bothered to update their "iPod compatibility" page, since there's no specific reason (as far as I'm aware) why an App that worked with a 2nd gen Touch shouldn't work with a 4th gen model. Is that page where you looked and were then prompted to ask your question?
You might have more success in finding an answer to your question by contatcing the manufacturer (Numark) via their website or checking with a retailer who stocks the iM1. Numark appear to welcome email contact about their products.

Xdotool doesn't work with flash videos

Hi,
I don't know if it's a bug or not, but xdotool doesn't seems to work with flash videos.
For example open the page http://www.miniclip.com/games/bloxorz and start the game, the left key should now move the bloc to the left.
Open a terminal and type `sleep 5; xdotool key Left ', then come back to the game.
Nothing happens.
Is there a workaround to do xdotool work with the flash videos?
I already tried with different web browsers, different flash plugins, but this works nowhere.

Have you tried quitting Pages completely, restart the iPad and then go back to Pages and see if they will upload?
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

with that said, i bought the pack that has both DDL and DTS Interacti've. but while playing music my reciever only gets front left and right channels. No sound comes from the center or rear channels. This is with CMSS 3D on. With analog all 5 speakers work. Before installing this pack, my reciever got PCM input from the optical line. Thus only the front channels working. now with this pack the speaker recognises that the signal is Dolby or DTS yet, only the front channels work. in short there is no difference with this pack.
could someone please explain to me how to get the whole 5. working with Dolby or DTS

the problem was with the reciever. just a change in setting was all it took
but now i have anoter problem
how do i bypass dolby and dts signals from movies to my reciever
before i simply had to set spdif out as default sound device and set ac3filter to spdif passthru
now the driver panel tells me that SPDIFOut will be exclusvely be used by DTS Interactiv. it doesnt pass the signal through from Media player classic or powerdvd.
am i expected to turn off DTS Interacti've or DDL when watching a movie and needing to pass on the signal?

Guaranteed? No, probably not on eBay. But if you are shipped the correct (and genuine) part for AppleCare for MacBooks AND the registration number in the AppleCare box hasn't been used yet, it should work when you go to register.
The source on eBay may or may not be reputable. Caveat emptor applies.

If the receipt says "unlocked" (and not "SIM free") then it will work anywhere in the world that there is a GSM network. However, if it ever needs repair you will have to take it back to France.

Sorting not working in a report with hyperlinks

I have a report with hyperlinks for one column and I noticed that sorting is no longer working on that report. If I use another version of the same report witout hyperlinks; sorting does work fine.
I was wondering if anyone has encountered this issue before and what would be the solution.

I didn't remove the sorts and was trying to sort again on another column.
So this is resolved.
Now another issue; when viewing this report in Interactive mode; the column with hyperlinks doesn't have the sort option when I right click on that column. The sort option does show up but it's grayed out (disabled). When I go to Edit mode; it does allow me to sort on that column.
Anyone has noticed this?
