It was from the above thread, well not entirely, I was trying to figure how to change current template to another template. I was looking at index.xml, but abandoned that because there are too many different dependencies between templates. Then the thread spurred me on to a different approach, and...
OK, I figured out how to do this now, and I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone.
I got 3 iWeb windows, I guess I can do as many as I like until the system crap out, running out of CPU power, memory, etc... or even kernel panic :-0

First, thanks to you, those are gracious and brave enough being beta testers.
Feedback from testers sited there are some (inconsistent) problems mainly with .Mac publishing.
I'd been looking all over inside iWeb, index.xml and iWeb.plist files, I couldn't see how the problems were possible in .Mac publishing. But since I don't have subscription to .Mac, I have no way of working out the details.
That's said, I am able to concurrently publish two sites to a folder.
OK, I have the app ready, but I'm reluctant to post the it (it's called iWeb Too).

Here is the low down, currently there is no easy way to switch your site theme. The only way to switch theme is rebuilding your current site to the new theme. To do that:
1) open current Domain.sites
2) copy bit and pieces
3) open new Domain.sites
4) paste bit and pieces
5) arrange them in the new elements
6) repeat step 1-5
iWeb Too is not the solution for the above steps (only those guys at Apple can do it), but it should make things quite a bit easier.
You can flip back and fore between windows, while copy and paste the elements.

I'm finding working with multi column\row text box ("table") in Illustrator CS6 really irritating and non-intuitive. Maybe just my ignorance but I can't find simple ways to do the following:
1. Click in a different cell of the "table" to the one currently active. Cursor does not move to new cell. How do I move focus to a different cell?
2. Begin entering text in an empty table - I can't get the cursor to appear, despite clicking inside cell area, on text box border etc.
Is there any simple way to perform these basic, simple tasks?

In my quick test I was able to enter the text by beginning at the upper left of the box and clicking. When I entered the text it appeared in the first box. Then I was able to tab through to the other boxes.

IM not working with hosted domains

My IM working with default domain within portal and from jnlp site but with my hosted domains is not signing in. I have IMS 7.1 (patched) Sun JES 2005Q4
It dont even generate any log for hosted domains.
IM log set at DEBUG level.
Does IM 7 support hosted / virtual domains in only one IM instance (single install)

I dont know much about it because there is no log fot failure logins. It simply working with default domain but not for any hosted domain. I also followed following.
* cd /opt/SUNWiim/html/en/
#vi im.jnlp
Add the following in the im.jnlp just above the </resource> tag

* Redeploy im resources into the web-container with recent changes
* Now launch the client from http://<hostname>:<webport>/im/en/im.jnlp

Amconsole dont work with virtual domains

hi!
i have a multi-homed environment (virtual domains). if i use the main domain i can access /amconsole without any problem, but if i try with any additional domain i receive an error message "Unkown domain". i've followed all steps for configuring multi-homed and it works with mail, calendar, etc.
any hints?

Nokia Messaging doesn't work with vanity domains

Nokia Messaging's "simplified" setup means I can't get it to work with my vanity domain. I can't get it to ask me what server it should use, it just complains that it can't connect - which isn't very surprising when it doesn't give me any opportunity to tell it which server to use.
I have emails from my domian forwarded to my Gmail account. The Gmail account itself works fine with Nokia Messaging, because the automatic setup works. The problem is that I want the reply address to be [email protected], not [email protected] Entering [email protected] as the address means Nokia Messaging insists on trying for some non-existent mail server for mydomain.com and doesn't give me the opportunity to enter the details for Gmail.
Does anybody know of a way to enter the details manually?
Assuming it's not possible to enter the details directly, not only is this a major problem for people who forward mail from their vanity domians, but it's potentially a serious security problem too. In its attempts to find the right server, Nokia Messaging must be connecting to some mail server somewhere and trying to log in with my username and password. Who knows what server it decided to try? Who knows who now has my login information? It's bad enough that Nokia store your login credentials, but it's just plain dangerous that they think it's OK to send them to random servers on the internet as they try to find the right one.
Why isn't there an "advanced" option so I can just set it up myself? Why, even after it has failed to connect, can't I just enter the required details myself?
Seriously Nokia, it doesn't take a genius to work out that if you never ask for the right server to connect to, your service is not going to work for anything but the most straightforward cases. You can't guess it right every time and when you try and guess you leak people's login credentialsto who-knows-who.

"Reply-to" address should be a feature of Nokia Messaging. I too have my work email forwarded to gmail to be able to use it with Nokia Messaging.
I have requested this feature since the app was on beta. and i'm doing it now again.
Maybe if we all request it they will take it seriously, but here is the wrong place to do it.

Last time I wrote to that email they replied asking for more details about what i was requesting. I'm not sure if they will do it or not, but at least their questions made me feel they would.

Working with secondary domain name

I have a mail system running just fine but i need to add a secondary domain name for my current list of users.
current domain = mydomain.net
additional name = mydomain.org
I have taken my osx server and split the processes onto different machines.

[imap ]
smtp is using ldap transports to locate my users mailbox.
transport_maps = ldap:/etc/postfix/ldaptransport
server_host = 10.10.10.10
search_base = dc=mydomain.net
query_filter = (mail=%s)
result_attribute = mailHost
result_filter = smtp:[%s]
bind = no
The result attribute usually displays the imap server.
Now with the new domain, .... can I use a blanket transport
mydomain.org smtp:[imap.mydomain.net]:20025
and on the imap server, set mydestination
mydestination = $myhostname, localhost.$mydomain, localhost, $mydomain, mydomain.net, mydomain.org
any insigyts on the best way to work this?

Ok solving my own post.
in my smtp server i was using ldap transport. I have discovered that i can't use ldap transports and hash file transports also.
So...
to get both to work I went with the quick and easy hash transport. which works for both domains.
now the trick is,..writing an ldap table entry for both domains, so that i can use the ldap lookup. ( kindof makes it cool

How to get Get-AdUser to work with different domains

I have 3 domains:
domain.com
domain.abc.com
domain.co.nz
I have this Get-ADUser PowerShell script that works with the first domain listed
Get-ADUser -Filter {enabled -eq "true" -and title -like "*"} -SearchBase "DC=domain, DC=com" -Properties hiredate, department
But does not work with the other 2. Not sure how to write the SearchBase parameter. Can you help?

SnpsFTP not working with Windows domain/username

We are using the following script to delete a file in FTP server. Works well with UNIX FTP server but fails with WINDOWS FTP server. Windows FTP username happens to be of format "domain/username". Is backslash causing the issue?

Z4: Word and OneDrive don't work with Multi-User

Hi,We are sharing the Z4 tablet among 4 in my family. For this I'm using the Android multiple users.The pre-installed MS Word worked for the main user or owner perfectly. Then I tried to install it for the second and third and fourth user. In all cases after starting Word for these users the message came up "download of additional content required". When clicking on "download" the app crashes. Then recently an update of Word was delivered via Google Play. Now the same happens for the main user. Deinstalling for all four users and reinstalling from Google Play didn't solve the issue.For MS OneDrive the issue is: it works for the main user. For the other users the Playstore gives the error message: "another user on this devices installed an incompatible version of OneDrive. Deinstall this first". Deinstalling and reinstalling didn't helped that issue either. Only one of the four users can use OneDrive. Any ideas on how to solve this? I do have the BKB50 and Word was my main reason to go for that combination with the Z4.Regards,Zampano

Microsoft Office for Android email support replied only with a standardized email. Beside of pointing to some FAQ it just offers to call the support hotline. I'll have to wait for the office hours then. In the meantime: has anyone tried using Word in a Multi-User setup on the Z4? Maybe it's just an issue here at me...Thx and Best Regards Zampano

How does volume automation work with multi-timbral instruments?

I have Garritan Aria player as an AU plug-in. I launch it as a multi-timbral instrument and 16 tracks appear. I load instruments from Garritan Personal Orchestra into the player and record parts on the tracks. So far so good. I can get a rough overall working balance easily enough with the Aria faders - but then I want to use volume automation to do the detailed mixing (boost the oboe, dip the brass for that bridge passage, etc). It doesn't work. Anything I do to one track affects all the others - they are all reading & responding to nodes placed on any of the tracks, so I don't have individual control of instruments. Help! - what am I doing wrong? I've tried using Hyper Draw instead - this seems at first to offer individual control; but if I enter node data on more than one track at the same place in the music (boost oboe, dip brass) the channel fader goes crazy - which isn't at all what I want. It looks to me that because the 16 inputs are all assigned to the same synth, the channels are locked together as a group, so level changes entered on any one track are applied to them all. That's silly, so I must be doing something wrong. Can anyone help?

OK, I'm nearly there, I think, but it's a bit weird (I'm using Logic Pro 9.1.8). I can record to the aux tracks (I'm just entering note data on the piano roll, just to test it), but all the sound seems to be routed just to Aux channel 2. If I solo the Instrument channel, I hear all tracks together. If I solo Aux 2, I hear the same thing. If I solo any other Aux track, I hear silence.
What I've done:
1. start a Logic project, with one software instrument
2. insert Aria player, as multichannel, 16x mono.
3. open the Logic mixer and click the + button at the bottom of the channel several times to add aux tracks (they come up Aria Player 2, 3, 4 etc, routed to Stereo Out)
4 ctrl-click on each channel and select 'create/select Arrange track'
5 insert instruments into Aria slots, leaving them as default (Output 1/2 for all, midi channel 01, 02, 03 etc)
6 enter note data on piano roll for the instrument track and each aux track
The instruments are correct for each track, but, as I say, I can only hear them as a mix on Inst 1, and as a mix on Aux 2 (track 3). I can't hear the solo output of any track. It's a mystery to me why this is happening, and why it is Aux 2. Am I missing something?

Any ideas?Not exactly sure what you are looking for here. Multichannel outputs are normally assigned as part of the A/V creation/conversion process. However, individual/combined audio track/streams can be reassigned using the "Properties > Audio Settings" option in QT Pro. If you are referring to the switching of multiple audio tracks (mono, stereo, 5.1, etc), this capability can be programmed using the "Properties > Other Settings" option for the various associated audio and/or video tracks involved. Switching is accomplished using the QT Player "Choose Language..." View menu option during/before playback. (Note: iTunes and iPod players do not include an option for switching to alternate tracks and players like VLC use arbitrary track identifications while the QT Player uses "Languages" for reference.)

IFS with multi-domains of Windows NT.

I installed iFS on a Solaris/Sun Box. I can login to iFS via a Browser from different Windows NT workstations and Windows 98 from different connected NT domains. I can also see iFS directories from these client computers if I used the 'find computer' command from the tools tab of Windows Explorer with the actual IP address.
How to tie the NT domain name with iFS? I mean I can access from one NT domain or two domains out of many domains.

in the Directory $ORACLE_HOME/ifsXXX/settings are the definintion files for the different protocols.
Have a look in SmbServer.def - here you can specify the workgroup that the server will appear in. You can also specify the comment users will see from Network Neighbourhood / Explorer /etc.

Additional results doesn't work with multi-line string dat

I observed an erratic behavior with "Additional Results" in TestStand 2010. The problem statement is as follows:
1. I have a variable "Locals.FirstName"
2. I have another variable "Locals.LastName"
3. Concatenate these two strings with a line feed or a new line character (Locals.FirstName+"\n"+Locals.LastName) and display it in a XML report.
Approach:
1. Using "Statement Expression" I concatenate two strings and print the result using "Additional Results"
2. For verification I display it using "Message Popup" step type. The formatting is as desired in "Message Popup". However, the new line characters appear as "Spaces" in XML report.
Tracing Of this Erratic Behavior:
1. I passed the concatenated string to LabVIEW VI and passed it to "Step.Result.ReportText" variable to log it in XML report. The same string which didn't appeared properly using “Additional Results"of "Statement Expression” step now appears proper in XML report.
I have attached the sequence file for reference. Ensure that Report option is set to XML before executing this sequence.
Can anyone justify this behavior and suggest the correct approach??

Here is a modified version of the TestStand 2010 Horizontal.xsl style sheet that corrects the issue you have mentioned. Note that leading and trailing "\n" characters will still be stripped out, and all "\r" characters will be stripped out.

Help Working With Multiple Domains

I have created multiple domains. I can send mail from all users on all domains but I can only receive mail on some domains. All the anti spam settings are the same for each domain in the enterprise manager smtp_in and smtp_out and on the mail client administration tab of the web client. The mx records are setup exactly the same for dns. When sending from yahoo the following error message is returned.

216.198.xx.xx does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 550 Spam check failed for recipient's address:
[email protected]
Giving up on 216.198.0.0.
Any ideas?

I'll go deeper just so I understand.
Lets say I have 2 separate matte shapes: a circle and a triangle....that will be used to cut out 2 different layers of video.
I want to position the triangle in the right side of frame. The video I want to be revealed in that matte position will be placed on v1....the matte on v2.
- I have to take the opacity down on the matte so I can see where to repo my video underneath so that I can chose what portion is seen in the triangle.
- Then nest the matte and video "fill"...essentially building a precomp
- Turn off the matte in the nest
- Cut the Nested Seq into my Main Seq
- Then copy the matte out of my nested seq to keep position intact, and paste that matte into my main seq...in this case on v2
- Bring Matte opacity back up to full
- Add Track Matte FX to v1
- In Track Matte FX settings...chose v2 for matte
Now I have the video in v1 being revealed thru the matte on v2. If for any reason I wish to adjust the repo of video on v1...I must go back into the nest.
To continue and add the Circle shape cutout...I place the video "Fill" on v3 and the circle matte on v4 and repeat above steps.
Is this the correct procedure?

because after some times, the memory usage is getting bigger and cause crashing the application.
