Working X-Fi and Nforce4 AMD Chip

Hello Creative,
i asked several times but i got no answer, maybe in this thread.
I have a Tyan Thunder K8WE without SCSI, means a Nforce4 AMD board.
AND i have a X-Fi Xtreme!
WHY i have dont have the same problems like all the others?
My X-Fi has a Hynix ram chip and not the default, if i remember corectly, a Samsung chip.

I would like to know if I can go buy a new XFi card now and be sure thta it will work on my system. It seems that some cards have an updated BIOS that allows them to work with NForce 4 boards.
I have a MSI K8N Master2 FAR with dual Opteron processors. I had bought an XFi Music Extreme when building the system, and it did not work, I gave that card away to a frined in exchange, and used my Audigy2 Zs which works fine.
I would stil like to have an XFi card, but my MoBo manufactureer has not put out a new BIOS, but i do see some people are getting new BIOS on their sound card and making it work.
Are the boards out in the stores, the okd BIOS? How sure can i be that I will get it to work somehow? Even if it means waiting 2 weeks for Creative to update the BIOS, is there a way to buy an updated card?
Is ther a way to tell from the box if it is an updated card?

I was one this site for 20+ Days and found a fix for 10.2.1 when it failed. I Uninstalled all, following other attempts that failed, then installed latest Version from Apple iTunes 10.2.12. I then uninstalled Apple Mobile Device Support (AMDS) and installed AMDS from the older 10.0 version of iTunes. Success it worked. Today, I am now back to old problem, iTnes takes very long time to open and fails to see my device when connected (iPhone). I really only have iTunes for my iPhone no extensive library a few hundred CD's in music location and no podcasts. I have less than 6 moveis and want to update them now. I am willing to lose all in iTunes library if need be just to get computer to see G3 iPhone with iOS 4.2 and let me synch once again. I like security of backup too. It older iTunes may now not support, that too is OK. I still want to get the 3GS (no 4G desires, yet) and do not care if any of it is the latest from Apple as long as it works.

Your basic suggestion actually worked for me. But this is what I did for others who are having issues removing/installing etc.
1. Download the latest iTunes 8.2. You should end up with a file iTunesSetup.
2. If you dont already have WinRAR, download free copy from http://www.rarlab.com/ and install.
3. Right click on iTunesSetup and choose "Extract" to somewhere you know. eg C:\itunetemp
4. Open up folder where you extracted iTunesSetup and double-click applemobiledevicesupport.msi
5. It should ask you if you want to repair or remove... choose remove.
6. REBOOT your PC.
7. Go back to where you extracted iTunesSetup and double-click applemobiledevicesupport.msi and go through the install.
8. Plug in your iPhone.
If all is well iTunes should automatically start and start syncing your iPhone.

I don't think you're likely to find a set of external speakers that come with a microphone and plug directly into a USB port. There are USB audio cards that look like tiny flash drives but have microphone and headphone ports in them, to which you can connect a typical two-plug Windows PC headset with a microphone, or else you can connect external speakers and a stand-alone microphone. Those adapters typically cost under $10. I don't know anything about the quality of sound that can be expected from them.
I have a Griffin iMic, which is much the same idea but larger, a bit more expensive (retail~$40), and perhaps delivers somewhat better sound quality (I hope so, but I don't know because I've never had occasion to try one of the little ones).

C4380 Printer networks with AMD chip

Hi guys - I have to ex press my displeasure with HP in that when they discover an "issue" with a particular chipset which let's face it is a fairly fundamental piece of kit in a computer (it's not like you can just swap for another), why can't they release a complete download for software that works instead of just a patch?
I have been trying most of today on and off to get my Acer aspire one laptop with an AMD C60 processor to accept the printer software and enable wireless printing. It just does NOT work!!! I download this, download that, install this update and then that patch but I cannot get this thing to work at all!!!!
I have it printing ok on USB and then try to add device. I tell it it's a wireless printer, it identifies it correctly with the right IP address and when I select install it gets to 20 percent and then the red cross appears. It asks for retry which I try twenty times (because I am nothing if not persistent) and finally I sigh and accept the next button as it tells me it will install later..... Will it? No actually it never does!
So what's that all about then?
So HP - why not just write the software again which is probably copy and paste, then change the approriate bit of the code that didn't work with the AMD C50/60 chipset, then entitle it "Software bundle for AMD chip victims"?

Mac Pro and Core i7 Chip ?

Does anyone have any idea what sort of advantage the Intel i7 chip will have over the current chip in the Mac Pro. Is it worth waiting until MacWorld in January for a possible announcement of the move to this chip.
MacPro is due for a redesign and this could happen at the same time.
I am looking to upgrade my 4 year old MacPro from PowerPC chip to the Intel chip - i have already upgraded my iMac and MacBook Pro..... so my main workstation is lagging way behind. Getting frustrating working with Aperture and PS3 so need to upgrade ... but is it worth waiting ?

Head out to tech sites that review and deal with Intel and Nehalem and see what Intel has said and what others have seen from engineering benchmarks.
Can you upgrade drives, memory and such to hold your G5 for a year? If not, I'd buy now instead of perpertual wait for something better. The Apple Store Specials has a lot of choices in refurbished models. Solid, work well.
My take: bleeding edge can be just that. Normally I wait 3-4 months if possible after a launch. Also, be aware that you can't run an older OS than what it ships with.
I assume you're already familiar with tech reviews.

Yes. I've found that works best. Especially if the drive is external, since external connections are typically slower, and Spotlight loves to eat up space going back and forth. Time Machine will eat up as much space as it can, and typically needs drives at least twice the size of the original hard drive that is being backed up, if being backed up in full. So unfortunately there is a lot of empty space that is needed for smooth operation.

Within My Verizon, after log in, you can go to "Change Features." Check there to add or remove features like Basic Voicemail and Visual Voicemail. Make sure to save and confirm the changes before logging out. It may be that it just needs a kick-start. Make sure to reboot your phone after that so that the changes take place.

Hello, Overclocking Gurus, my set up is in my sig.
The highest Overclock I could achieve, with my Barton 2500, and were
it would boot into Windows, and run stable for any period of time was
220 x 11.5 = 2,530MHZ with the vcore @ 1.85v with my Core temp
running @ 10-20 degrees Celsius over ambient.
I didn’t want to smoke my Core or my RAM quite yet, so I back it down
to 202 x 11.5 = 2,323 MHZ with the vcore @ 1.70v, now my Core temp
runs @ 2-6 degrees Celsius over ambient, and totally stable 24-7.
The Highest Overclock for a Barton 2500 non-M, that I found was 3,210
MHZ with the vcore @ 1.90v and cooled by air with a SLK-700 and a
TMD fan. It’s hard for me to believe, that someone can reach 3,210 MHZ
on air with a SLK-700 and a TMD fan! If someone could achieve that
high of a overclock, I would have thought surely it was cooled by a
Prometeia rig! But who really knows, it could just be a little fib!
I found that info here http://www.overclockers.com and click on CPU database.
I can almost guarantee that there have been higher Overclocks using liquid
Nitrogen! But I don’t think it will remain stable for any period of time!
Liquid submersion is the way to go if you want to achieve nice Overclocks,
with a very low overall temp, but it is extremely expensive, and quite scary
putting all of your components into a bath of liquid, also, it might be a bit
messy if you like to change video cards or other components often!

Does Cool N Quiet + AMD Chip Driver = Video Card Overclocking?

For some odd reason, my 9800NP is automatically changing its clock rates on me. Never down, only up. Does N Quiet and/or the AMD Chip Driver impact your video card? Right now it booted at 378/330 which is a 9800Pro. I'm using the normal BIOS for a NP, but it does show up as a pro in the Display properties. Any ideas?

I think the Cool N Quiet software doen't like RadLinker/RadClocker. I enabled Cool N Quiet in the BIOS, but did not install the associated software. All better now!!

In COOIS select list components you can be requirement qty and withdrawn qty , here you can find out open work orders also

FaceTime no longer working with Yosemite and IOS 8.1

I have used FaceTime flawlessly for some time with no issue.
After I upgraded to Yosemite on my MacBookAir and IOS8.1 on 5S and iPad air, I've had a problem connecting.
When I get a call, all the devices ring (as they should) but it will not connect on the first device I pick up on. It says connecting
but all the other devices keep ringing and finally it says I have a missed call. The connection does not happen. If I turn off
all devices except one, it will work...... do we have a bug here??

Thank you for responding to my issue. I spent the better part of two hours trying to get this to work. Bluetooth is enabled on all devices. Each computer is set in Preferences/General to allow Handoff. All computers and iPhones are on the same WiFi network. I toggled all of the major settings off and on. Rebooted each of my computers several times. I finally conceded defeat. Then my daughter asked to have a try at it. She worked on the first MBP for about thirty minutes and informed me that she had gotten continuity to work. And indeed, on her MBP late 2012 she is able to use the continuity features in both directions between her computer and her iPhone 6. But it only works with Mail and Safari. I asked how she accomplished this feat. She said she turned off "everything" on her computer and iPhone (WiFi, Bluetooth, "Allow handoff" under Preferences/General) and then rebooted both the iPhone and the computer. She then turned everything back on. This worked for her. So we tried the same thing on my MBP and iPhone 6. Now continuity works partially. Email activity is mirrored on both the MBP and the iPhone regardless of which device initiates the continuity activity. But Safari activity on the computer is mirrored on the iPhone but not in the opposite direction. There is no continuity function for Pages in either direction. The telephone connectivity works fine on all of my devices– 3 MBPs, Mac Pro, iPad Air, 2nd gen iPad and 3rd gen iPad.

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap the Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign in with the Apple ID of your choosing.

Cross browser testing : Modifier Keys playback actions not working in chrome and Firefox

In my work flow I have to select multiple items in list.So I have recorded 'Ctrl+Click' action to select list items.In Chrome and Firefox it is not selecting multiple Items.
Even Ctrl+A,Ctrl+C,Ctrl+V also not working in chrome and Firefox.Complete modifier keys support is not observed in chrome and Firefox.Let me Know how to automate modifier keys actions in cross browser?

First,please make sure the Chrome and Firefox is supported by cross browser testing.
Latest version of Chrome and Firefox supported by cross browser testing are Chrome version 38.0.2125.111 and
Firefox 33.
I doubt whether Chrome and Firefox in cross browser testing don’t support automating modifier keys or there is anything wrong on it if you are using supported browser. Since this issue is related to the Extensions tool
Selenium components for Coded UI Cross Browser Testing, if possible, I suggest you post this
issue here, click “Q AND A”, and then you could post this issue there, you would get dedicated
support there.
