Workitem forward to multiple Agents

Dear friends,
please let me know whether I can forward a workitem to multiple agents.
with regards,
Sudhahar R

Dear Arghadip,
Thanks for your suggestion and it works well. I never thought changing a personal setting in our own workflow inbox will enable multiple forwarding for a Workflow Administrator role. This is not the way its should be enabled...   this seems like a workaround. what you think?
Thanks & Regards,
Sudhahar R.

  • Multiple Agents in WF

    Hi All,
    I am having a issue to send the mail to 2 more people along with the agent. Here is how my WF runs;
    1. Creator chooses a agent from his inbox.
    2. The workitem goes to the agent chosen.
Requirement: At this point when the workitem goes to chosen agent . But we also want the same workitem to be sent to 2 more people along with the agent selected.
Option1: I did look around and found we can do multiple line container element. But that will not work in our case because in that case if first agent opens it will disappear from other. We want it to be in their inbox no matter what.
Please let me know if i can do this in any way.
    Thanks in advance,
    Karuna.

    Hi Karuna,
Please use a multiline container element. ( Create a multiline container element if you do not have in the wokflow container ).
Now populate the multiline container with user ids ( you must add leading 'US' to each user id ).
Now in the send mail step choose 'Organization Object' as Recipient type.
Then choose 'Expression' and use the multile container element( press F4 and select multiline container element ).
For example 'AGENTS' is a multiline container element and have the following values.
    USXXXXX
    USYYYY
    USZZZZZ
now send mail step will send mail all three users ( XXXX, YYYY, ZZZZ ) at a time.
Hoping that this will help you.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Is there a way to add multiple agents to a skill group at once?

    Hi All,
Is there a way to add multiple agents to a skill group at once by using bulk edit or some other means?
    I am using ICM 8.0
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Piyush,
There is a tricky way of doing it in the config manager. Say for example, if you have 100 agents to be added, rename the agent so that they get listed first while adding to the skill group. This will reduce the effort of searching the agents. You can scroll and select the total number of agents till it is renamed and revert back once added to the skill groups
    Hope this helps
    Cheers,

  • Workitem forwarding

    Hi All,
I searched threads regarding workitem forwarding, but cldnt get one related to my issue.
This WF is related to archiving invoice.
On scanning of invoice, WF triggers, sends workitem to AP,
AP executes workitem, screen is in edit mode. Due to some discrepancey, AP routes it to User1.
User1 receives workitem, executes it, now the same screen shd b in display mode with just 2 fields enabled.
    My question is,
is there such a standard WF available similar to my case?
can a workitem forwarded from one user which was on edit mode, changed to display mode with just 2 fields enabled for the next user ?
    Thanks,
    Aditya

    Hi Aditya,
There is no such workflow to satisfy your requirement. But I did the same thing in my workflow.
There is one field wi_forw_by into the table SWWWIHEAD, if you forward the workitem to another user then this field will be X. Based on this flag you can disable or enable the screen fields which you want.
Please give reward point if it is useful.

  • WRT160Nv2-Problem with Single Port forward to multiple servers with same internal port numbers.

On my network I have 3 systems that I've set up as RDP hosts.  And need to get to all three of them externally.  So I'm trying to do the following single port forwarding.
    RDP 1   Forward 4000 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.11
    RDP 2   Forward 4001 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.12
    RDP 3   Forward 4002 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.14
When I hit "Save Changes" I get the error "Port range already exists".  So it's good that it won't let me overlap ports generally, but at the same time, I'm trying to send them to different IP address.  There should be no overlap in this case.  Please advise
I'm trying this on the WRT160Nv2 with firmware 2.0.02, which I had just bought this weekend.

    kevj,
Thanks for your suggestion.  I have now upgraded the firmware to 2.0.03 build 7.  But I am still seeing the error message
As I mentioned previously, I'm trying to single port forward to multiple machines in the following way:
    Machine 1:   Forward 4000 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.11
    Machine 2:   Forward 4001 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.12
    Machine 3:   Forward 4002 to port 3389 for 192.168.1.14
The error appears to be generated by the fact that 3389 is selected for multiple external port numbers, but the same internal port number.  The router I believe isn't taking into account that the similar internal port numbers aren't taking into account the different internal ip address I'm trying to send this to.
This would be a standard sort of practice for running a live HTTP server on one machine, and a new beta HTTP server behind the router on a secondary machine on the same internal port, but different external port numbers for test purposes from the outside.
    Please advise
    Thank you.

  • TS3276 Hello. When trying to forward a multiple page PDF document, only the first page appears. Does anyone know how to fix this. TY

Hello. When trying to forward a multiple page PDF document, only the first page appears. Does anyone know how to fix this. TY

Are you sure?   I believe the mail program only previews the first page for you, but sends the whole attachment.  Try opening the attachment (e.g., select and hit spacebar for a preview of the whole thing, or by double-clicking it, or control-clicking then "Open...")  You should see the whole document.

  • Multiple agents receive same call

Hello All. We had a scenario today where multiple agents received the same outside call. The outside call went first to agent 1, which did not answer before the ring time out, and then the call went to agent 1 and agent 2 at the same time. Any ideas?

I think I heard DZanre say something like:
    > Sure. You just can't run the same on the same server. But if you
    > are running multiple MTAs on the same server, they should be just
    > running the same software anyway, so updating the server once
    > typically updates all agents on that server.
Ok, so I went through the steps on tid 3215004 & got all my mta's,
    poa's, & gwia @ 7.0.4.
Followed the steps for webaccess, all seemed to go the way the tid
explained, however my document viewer agent still shows as 7.0.3 even
though the webaccess agent is 7.0.4.
If I check it through GW monitor, the whole webaccess agent shows
version date 1/21/2009, when everything else shows 3/13/2010.
What gives? What did I miss?

  • Using multiple agents through one webgate

How can we use multiple agents through one webgate.when i copy a file OBACESSCLIENT.XML its gets overwritten what should i do.

This is trivial to do - just don't use Finder aliases.
Aliases are Mac OS X-specific and UNIX-based applications like apache don't know how to deal with them.
The solution is to use symbolic links, the original UNIX equivalent of the Mac's aliases.:
    <pre class=command>$ cd /Library/WebServer/Documents
    $ ln -s /Volumes/User1Drive user1
    $ ln -s /Volumes/User2Drive user2
    ...</pre>
    etc.
This will create a symbolic link from user1 to /Volumes/User1Drive. Now when anyone hits /user1 on your server they'll given the content on /Volume/User1Drive.
There is an alternative solution which doesn't use directory paths, but hostnames. It's possible to configure Apache's virtual hosts so that 'http://user1.server.com/' is based on /Volumes/User1Drive while 'http://user2.server.com/' is based on /Volumes/User2Drive, and so on.
This takes some configuration in DNS to point all the hostnames to the same IP address, but it's another option that can scale without the need of more IP addresses.

  • Multiple agents for a workitem execution

    Hello Workflow experts,
I have developed a simple workflow with single step to display a document using IW23 transaction.
My requriement is to send a workitem to 3 agents inboxes parallely. This I'm achieving by the rule by function module and populating the ACTOR table.
Now, when any one of the agents executes the workitem, the workitem disappears from all the three agent's inbox and the workflow is getting completed.
I want the workflow to be completed and the workitem to be disappeared only after all the 3 agents executes the workitem. Until then the other agents must be able to see the document by executing the workitem.
Please suggest me a way to achieve this.
    Thanks,
    Madhan.

    Hello,
That's the standard way workflow works - you send a workitem to x agents and when the first one executes it, it disappears from the others' inboxes.
For your scenario, with 3 agents, you would do 3 parallel forks and make the condition 3 from 3.
For a variable number of parallel agents, see (for example) :

  • Find the list of forwarded workitems, forwarded by and forwarded to agents

    Hi experts,
I want to find the list of workitems which were forwarded and the corresponding forwarded by and forwarded to agents.
The above requirement is for workitems of all kinds of status (might be completed, ready etc..)
    Please suggest.
    Regards,
    Karthik

    Thanks a lot vikram,
Hence the answer is refering to SWWLOGHIST table.
We need to pass the value 'SWW_WI_FORWARD' (which is an FM) to the field 'METHOD' of SWWLOGHIST table and get forwarded by and forwarded to agents from 'METH_USER' and 'PARA_VAL_1' fields for the worktiems in any date range.

  • Workflow, workitem redirection - changing the agent

    Hi Friends,
Workflow is triggered and workitem is sent to the agent responsible. now the problem is the responsible agent is on vacation.
how can i redirect the workitem to other person,
is there a way to do this?
    thanks a lot.
    Points will be rewarded.

    Hello Kiran,
if the user <i>is</i> alread on vacation, the administrator can use the transaction SWIA to forward the workitem. You can select by the workflow task TS... by workitem id.
To find out, which workitems the user currently has in his inbox, please consult the database table SWWUSERWI.
For the future, each involved person of the workflow should maintain a "substitute" (Workplace>Settings>Workflow-->Maintain Subs.) and active this setting before his vacation.
    Best regards,
       Florin

  • Function to get the Agents for the Workitem not the possible agents

    Hi Guys ,
To get the user for each scienario we saved it in the ztable. Now i want to show in report the list possible agents assigned to workitem. ts should agents asigned to it ... its can be four or five ....

Try to make use of the FM SAP_WAPI_GET_WI_AGENTS, if at all you want to know the agents with respect to a workitem
    and
    check the below too
    SWL_WI_DISP_ACTUAL_AGENTS
    SWL_WI_DISP_EXCLUDED_AGENTS
    SWL_WI_DISP_POSSIBLE_AGENTS

  • Multiple agents on same box

So, if installing a GW patch (say 7.0.4) to my nw65sp8 box, how should
    I handle this setup?
    3 'domains' (MTA's on 3 different boxes, 1 for POA's, 1 for gwia, 1 for
    webacc.
All of my MTA's run on the same box as other agents. I recall when
installing a gw patch, should do all MTA's, then POA's, then gwia &
    webacc.
How should I go about this when I have mta's & poa's, etc on the same
boxes, and IIRC these modules use a lot of the same nlms (gwenn5, etc).
