WOrkitem Getting logically deleated

Hi All experts,
I have a workflow is working fine in production but from last few months there are some problems in this workflow.
even now most of the time it is working fine.
There is a wait step in which we have applied a deadline monitoring.
this wait step gets completed on some particular date.
i checked few workitems in production which are getting logically deleted.
Please help me in finding out few things.
1)How it got logically deleted?
2) can we check on which date or time its status got changed to logically deleted.
3) How to correct this issue?
4) Can we change the status to logically deleted to ready or start
5)is there any way to restart this workflow?

Thanks for your rply.
I checked the step history everything is lookin gud and everything is in green status.
This workflow is not looking for any event.
This is the wait step which is waiting till some specified date and it is getting into error state.
it is getting logically deleted.
I checked header data there is nothing defined in event tab.
also in production i am not allowed to switch on the swels transaction.
You could look in the step history in the workflow log to see if it tells you who logically deleted it.
can it be because of some SWU3 transaction?????
cant we find out which user or which program changed its status to cancelled?
you no i checked few more workflows which has wait step and they are also getting logically deleted .
this will kill me.
Please guide me.

How do I get Logic to stop looking for a specific .wav file?

I recently imported a project I started in GarageBand into Logic Pro. Once in Logic, I edited and added to the project then saved it as a Logic project file. I deleted the original project from GarageBand. Now, when I open the Logic file, Logic is still looking for .wav files that were used in the original GarageBand file. None of these files are actually needed in my project. Is there a way that I can get Logic to stop looking for these .wav files?

Can't get Logic to work on my new Macbook.

I just bought a macbook pro (8,3 OS 10.7.5), and used migration assistant to move over from my old macbook (also running 10.7.5). When I try to launch Logic (legit paid-for copy, 9.1.7) I get the following:
     Logic Pro cannot be opened because of a problem.
     Check with the developer to make sure Logic Pro works with this version of Mac OS X. You may need to reinstall the application. Be sure to install any      available updates for the application and Mac OS X.

I've tried deleting all of the Logic files on the machine and re-intalling/updating, and I still get the message. Logic works fine on the older machine, so I'm assuming its an issue with the migration, but I though deleting everything (at least everything I can find, based on file lists a search for 'uninstalling Logic' came up with) and reinstalling might solve the issue, but it hasn't.
Any help to get logic back up and running would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm- you're right. I've run software update and the app store and it hasn't come up.. so I thought I was up to date (not to mention I just got the laptop a few days ago... and assumed it was updated). I'll try that. Thanks

How do I get Logic to sync to external audio device?

Here is what I am trying to do:
I have a Big Ben which I want to use to sync everything together. I have Lynx Aurora converters on the way but for now I need to use a 002 rack with a Presonus DigiMax for audio i/o. So basically, I want to connect BIg Ben to 002 with SPDIF cable and to Digimax with Wordclock cable and that all seems to work fine when Logic is off. However I can't get Logic 8 to sync to the Big Ben through the 002 which is used for ins and outs. I can get everything synced by setting Logic to Internal sync and then sending SPDIF from 002 to Big Ben (which syncs externaly to that) and then connecting wordclock out of Big Ben to Digimax. There has got to be a better way.
I have tried setting Logic to external sync ( not exactly sure which method to use since nothing in the manual says that a particular setting is to be used with the i/o except maybe External or Free in Core Audio under Audio Tab on Sync settings - anyway this didn't work). I can use Digidesign CoreAudio Manager to set 002 to SPDIF but whatever I do, Logic doesn't not reflect changes to the clock rate. I someone could guide me on getting Logic to respond to Clock changes from 002R, I can probably get it going from there.

This is what I have figured out so far. If I turn off Logic, the 002 and Digimax clock just fine from the Big Ben. When clocking Logic from an external audio source (by using external or free under the audio tab of Sync preferences), that when I change timing of Big Ben, the audio changes to indicate it is receiving word clock. Logic throws up errors saying that there is a mismatch from external sync to project settings or some such error message. I can then change the clock in Logic to match what the Big Ben reads and errors go away and things indicate that it is clocked correctly. This seems to work, I am just used to other programs that when I change the clock setting on the Big Ben that they reflect those changes right away.
And yes I can synch the 002 to the Digimaz but it still doesn't work correctly until I manually change the clock setting in Logic as well. I just wonder if this is how things are supposed to work in Logic or if I am doing something wrong? The 002 is just a temporary solution to get me through a session tomorrow. After then I will have a Lynx Aurora 16 connected with the Firewire option and then use the Lynx AES16 PCIe when it is available in a few week (or hopefully not months). I am just trying to get a handle on how Logic syncs to an external converter. And while Syncing and wordclock are maybe not the same thing, under the sync menu is the only spot where I have found wordclock even mentioned (at least it is in the manual when describing what some of the options allow).

Send Message in BPM gets "logically deleted"

Hi everybody,
we got a message split in BPM. The singel messages are send through "send context".
Strange:
In SXMB_MONI_BPE the message gets logically deleted.
And in SXMB_MONI the BPM does not send the message to the configured receiver.
The message is send back to the process !?
Any suggestions?

I have used Logic since the day it was "born" till version 5.5 (on Pc). Now I bought Logic pro 9 (& Mac...) and succeeded to load songs from version 5.5
but when I loaded songs from former version, I think 4.0, I have got a note says that I need version 7 to convert them.
What am I suppose to do?

How do I get Logic to reference files instead of importing them?

Hey guys, I've been trying to figure this out for a while now with no luck. How do I get Logic X to reference audio files on my hard drive without importing them in to the project itself? I've got a lot of remix type tracks that use long audio files, and each one of the projects is at least 700mb. I'm very organized with my folders, so I have no need for Logic to keep its own copy of the files.
I've gone in to File -> Project Settings -> Assets and unchecked all the boxes including audio files, but no matter what I try or what order I change the settings and import the files in, as soon as I drop in a 30mb file my project instantly becomes 70mb. Changing the assets settings does nothing, and even if I delete all the tracks and do File -> Project Management -> Clean Up, it doesn't delete any of the files and the project stays the same size.
Am I missing something obvious or is Logic glitching? Any help would be much appreciated.

Siri will make the letters uppercase by default. There is no way to change this. However, siri deals with lowercase just like it deals with punctuation. You have to say it. For example if I say lowercase l lowercase o lowercase l siri will write lol but if I just say l o l it will wright LOL. So just say lowercase before each letter (I tested this and unfortunaely it only works with each individual letter).

There are no Skype versions available that will work on Windows XP without SP3 installed. Skype versions older than 6.14 are now disabled and can no longer be used. You need to update your Windows to SP3.

1.Uer has a requriement:
       I set two types in bp data. Eath types has some special fieds.But these fields is in BP data(table:but00). User want to display special fieds when he accessed in webui. for example: a field is in type a, and b field is in type b. User want dislay a field when he accessed to create bp for type a and dislay b field when he accessed to create bp for type b. The create web is in one business roles.
2.My solution:
       I copy standard logical id MD-ACC-CR to ZMD-ACC-CR and assign the two logical id in one business role. The two links have been disllay in one work area.But these links have link to one component.I set two configuratio in component BP_Head for view:BP_HEAD/AccountDetails and assign these two field to two view configuration.Eech configuration has same role key and differical objectype. I set enhancement:CRM_BP_UIU_VIEW_CONFIG to determined the object type and object subtype in view configuration when create bp.
3. Question:
          How to find the difference in enhancment CRM_BP_UIU_VIEW_CONFIG when user click the two web like. I think only difference is logical id. But I didn't get logical id in enhancement.

Workitems getting stuck at expired users

Hi,
We have a case where workitems get stuck because the assigned users have expired validity.
At the time of assignment, one user is set as agent. Then that user gets set to expired, however the Workitem still is assigned to that one user.
This will create an issue where invoices are not handled at all.
I'm thinking that this must be a common workflow issue, or that there must be a common solution - that you guys know how to solve

As Rick said, definately some kind of escalation process should take place in invoice handling process. If approver does not approve the invoice in time, it will be escalated to approver's manager or whatever (or the invoice will return to accounts payable clerk, etc.).
Now since you already have the problem, you need to somehow monitor the situation. You can for example try monitor the work items with SWIA (look for all invoice approval tasks that are in status READY in In PROCESS).

I know the physical path of a file. Can anyone tell me how do I view this file? I do not know the logical file name, hence cannot use AL11 to view the file.

Can´t get logic to record audio

ok, i´m feelin´really stupid here - but it´s true - I can´t get logic to record audio in some songs. the only thing - as far as I´m concerned - that is changed while swaping between songs are the song settings. that´s where I´ve been looking for something that´s been disabling the rec function.
I was working on a song right now which I was recording vocals on a couple of days ago, and now I was going to record some synthstrings (record to audio) and I just can´t make it happen. record path e t c seems to be ok.
please somebody...HELP!!

thanks for takin´time... I solved the problem last night and then forgotten to post what i´m doing now. but I think it´s a bug... (and it´s ok if u don´t believe me...) it´s a bit spooky...
I´ve changed the track icons to that cute little tapedeck (for the audio tracks only - buses, inputs and audio instruments have other symbols). looks nice in the arrange window. (gives me the "feel" of recording...) And the song i was working with has been like this for a couple of months. And I´ve been doing a lot of recording until yesterday when it was not possible...
For some reason i started to fiddle with the track symbol - changing it - and, yes, logic was able to record. At this time I didn´t believe that this was the reason so I changed back to the little tape deck, and yes, recording was not possible. Then I opened an autoload which had the same syndrom (at that time I didn´t bother - I just created another setup), and first trying to record - not possible - then changing the tape deck symbol (yes I used it here too - I really liked it...) and recordning was possible. It seems that if all of logics 64 audiotracks has that (from now on I will call it "ugly") tape deck symbol, at least I can´t record audio (logic won´t go in to record - no matter what - pushing buttons clicking mouse e t c) recording midi was never affected. And the "spooky" thing is that I´ve been recording (with no problems) with all of the 64 audiotracks labelled with that little "ugly" tape deck - until yesterday...
This might just b a wierd thing - but if anyone elese has a problem like this, it might help. I´m not shure weather it´s the tape deck symbol itself that causes the problem, but getting rid of it solves the same problem.
(I´m using a RME multiface and I´m not 100% shure it could have SOMETHING to do with this)

How to get Logic Pro to relocate plug in folders?

I have downloaded a plug in months ago.
(a folder that contains:
component file
vst bank file (.fxb)
a folder with all the samples/instrument files for importing individually instead of using the premade vst bank above
Months ago, I created a project using the plugin.
Today, I went through some folder organization, and moved the downloaded folder with everything in it to another location.
When I open the project, it says that blahblahblah is missing, and therefore the sound will not play from that instrument/plugin.
I tried something:
I left the downloaded folder in its original location. DOWNLOADS.
I opened the project and it did sound. The settings on the instrument are my main concern. So i saved those settings with the save as feature.
I moved the folder to desired location.
Then reopened the proejct which had the same error message. I opened the instrument FROM THE NEW LOCATION.
clicked my saved setting.
and this resulted in an error message saying that it couldnt find the files in its original location.
im guessing that the saved setting feature saves your settings and remembers/references the current location of the plug in/files being saved (their settings)
My problem:
I would like to move the folder of the instrument/plugin to a new location
while preserving the current settings of the insturment/plugin in said project.
How do I get logic to keep the current settings, and only relocate the plugin files????

There are certain things that you have to remember about the way that Logic works, as far as file structure goes - if you change the location of the audio files that are in the regions of a project, you will have to re-locate them (you can do that in the audio bin) to re-establish the file path - the EXS24 will actually look for samples and it might not do it very quickly if your Spotlight index hasn't been updated recently, which is another story.
You have to think about what you need to save into a project folder if you're gonna share it with somebody else, if you're working on a project like that, but otherwise Logic saves what you need for that particular project on your own computer, so that should be OK.
Well, for example, .component files should be placed in your computer's Audio folder, rather than the project file's folder (or your own Audio folder available to you with your log-in) to be available for all your projects, I'm not totally sure what you mean.
